TV model 42LF5800. 42 " less than 2 years old. Just started having white spots on screen. We did nothing to cause this, it is a defect in your product and should not have been sold until corrected. Have LG frig and washer and thought they were the best, now not so sure. My husband just had 2 major back surgeries in the past 2 years, I do not need an additional bill on a less than 2 year old TV. Got estimate of $240.00 plus the charge to come to my house. The service dept is about 10 miles or 30 miles from here. I am so dissapointed that U cannot correct this problem as you should stand behind your product. Carole Firlie

We have had multiple issues with clothes remaining dirty, dirty soap dispensers requiring frequent clean tub cycles, machine leaks from back pipes due to damaged threads with expensive property damage due to floor leaks and water flooding. Our clothes worn out with balling out even if we use delicate cycles. The Turbo clean and steam cycles don't work. Very bad customer services, giving the run around. We received letter from LG Premium Care if we wanted to purchase extended warranty, which we thought will be a good idea since the machines have had so many issues within first year! So we paid upfront for 3 yrs of extended warranty. When we called for service, LG Premium Care will not cover the side-kick washer since that was not included? LG Customer services said for us to call Best Buy regarding issues with LG Premium Care warranty extension?

About 8 years ago, we bought an LG washer and dryer. Recently, the motor went out. It is under warranty for 10 years. We looked up on LG's website two authorized service companies. We called them and both had appointments that were 2 to 3 weeks out. We couldn't wait that long. We called a company who could do the work within a day or two and they diagnosed the problem as the direct drive motor. They ordered the part from sears, a reputable distributor. They replaced the part and I paid them for the part, labor, and service call. Then I called LG to initiate a reimbursement for the part.
I wasn't expecting to be reimbursed for the service or labor. They told me that I should have contacted LG when we found out that the service wait time was unreasonable and without doing that they would not reimburse me for the part. They said they couldn't guarantee that the part was from an authorized parts warehouse and the work done wasn't done by an authorized repair company. They expected for use to have read the warranty info from paperwork I am not even sure we have anymore, note, it was purchased 8 years ago.
I went the round with the supervisor and she was adamant they would not cover the part. I then told her that this was not a requirement when my fridge compressor went out and I had to call for service. I just called a repair guy and he gave me the proper paper work and receipt for the work and I turned it over to LG and got reimbursed. I told her that I didn't understand the hypocrisy. To cover one situation and not the other is ridiculous. Again, she said LG would not cover the part because we did not call them directly when there was a problem with getting an authorized service guy to do the work.
I asked if I could get this supervisors car, I wanted to keep it for 3 weeks and by the way, it was up to her to figure out how to get to work and back without it. I said, if she had to she would most likely call and get a rental if it was that important to get to work and back. Well, I said waiting for a washer to be repaired and wait for 3 weeks was unacceptable. She said that I should have read the warranty information before contacting anyone.
I believe at this point that they are finding any loophole in their warranty so they don't have to cover repair costs even in the most unusual situation. I would think no one would wait 3 weeks to get a major appliance fixed. With the outright attitude of the supervisor and her not willing to even discuss a compromise, they are not worthy of anyone's business or loyalty.
My suggestion is..don't buy LG appliances. They will find any way to get out of paying for things they should rightfully cover. So we have made a decision to buy non-LG appliances from now on. GE, Samsung, Kenmore, here we come and we look forward to a better experience.
I will continue to post bad reviews anywhere and everywhere I can to tell people not to buy from LG.

I bought my LG G5 at September 2016 and it was Ok then suddenly on the 13th of April it turned off and didn't work again, when I went to LG Egypt support center at 5th settlement once they checked the phone they informed my that the board and processor are dead and needs to be changed or it wont work again which caused me losing all the data on the phone plus money needed to fix it !
Can you explain to me how come whithin 7 months ONLY my phone dies like that as you know of course it's not cheap at all and you are supposed to be a trustworthy company and I used to recommend you to everone I know!

I bought my mobile from Kuwait when i was in business trip, and i am in Egypt now, a LG customer service from Egypt called me, and told me they cant do anything, and i have return the mobile back to Kuwait, is that a reasonable, a global company have no global branded grantee.
And support here in Egypt want me to pay almost 40% from the mobile cost to fix it, and that not my fault at all, it your device bad issue, i need a solution here the mobile didn't exceed one year working with me, with no scratch and it dead from it self with a faulty motherboard.

I purchased a front loading washing machine in January. The outer drum that retains the water blew a hole in it on May 26. I have dealt with LG numerous times and they are giving me the run around. They are doing everything but help. I live in a remote area so it's difficult to get a tech to travel long distance. No kidding. One drove 90 miles 1 way. He told them its not cost effective to fix it. LG is doing nothing to help but the usual it'll take 3 to 5 days sir to contact someone. I spoke to a corporate lady an hour ago and she was rude. Said its a process and i have to wait and LG will not send me another machine, even a refurbished one, very spiteful and rude how she said it. I have a 4 month old washing machine with a hole in it. Its brand new and its a joke to LG. As a paying customer I shouldn't want help for something covered under warranty, at least thats how LG has been acting. Ive been spending money, gas and time the past 3 weeks to go to the laundry mat when I have a new washing machine. Its rediculous. Can someone please maybe do their job and please help. Im trying to stay calm but this run around is getting old. If not authorize me to return my products to Home Depot so I can purchase an actual quality product. I also went through 3 defected LG G4 phones in 20 months, a defect that was replaced quickly 3 times. Can I get the same help on my washing machine please. If you were in my shoes, you would also want help as well. I hope someone can help me and not give the run around anymore.

I brought a LG refrigerator from Nandilath G-Mart, Irinjalakuda, Kerala on 7th Sept.2016. Recently it was showing cooling issue and I registered a complaint on you toll free number(RNP170525052101)on May 25th and a service person attended the issue next day. He said that it was its compressor problem and he will replace the parts within 3 -4 days. But its almost three weeks now and I didn't get its feed back or solved the problem. It is very sad to hear that the prestigious Brand like LG are neglecting the customer complaints.
Kindly look into this matter and instruct the service agents to solve the issue at the earliest.

I have to buy the LG 55”UHD TV in March 7, 2017. First of all, the quality was good, buy my experience was very bad.

I tried to contact LG HK service hotline in 1st June, 2017, but they ask me to provide S/N again, but I have to request some body call me to explan this difficulty policy, but no body reply the call until now (14 days), and no body told me the re-approval is complete or not!
I have no ideas the Headquarter of LG Korea, to allow LG HK to destroy the brand value like that? In this highly competitive business environment, the world brand is talk about brand value, customer loyalty and customer experience. I cannot believe that LG HK can provide that kind of very bad service.
In fact, Samsung HK will fix customer problem within three days, and reply the call within 24hours. I think this is just a basic customer service.

I just purchase a LG air conditioner and I am extremely disappointed with it. While looking at other air conditioners to buy I decided upon the LG because of their good reputation. I was very disappointed when I installed the unit in the window. The curtains of the air conditioner were too short and were unable to reach the length on the window. I had to rig something for it to work and it looks horrible. Any suggestions or help?

I purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and range on 1/1/16. I did not purchase extended warranty, since I had no problems with other ones that I had and was just redoing my kitchen. Well my lg french door with"smart tech" stopped cooling Saturday evening, I called lg and they gave me numbers of appliance repair but nothing was going to be open until Monday. Most of the numbers lg gave me did not work on closed systems. They have no complaint line to call. I have been on the phone with them a number of times this am and received no help what so ever. I spent thousands of dollars on these appliances! I feel like I have gotten the run around, or screwed without even a kiss. I finally called Best Buy where I purchased the items and am receiving great customer service with them at this point they are looking for an authorized tech how can work on sealed systems. I am very disappointed with lg at this point.

I bought an LG TV 65", when it got to my site i couldn't open immediately because there are a lot of workers. So i kept it in a safe place. When i opened it there is like a shadow on the screen. So i tried to turn it on. And there on the LCD is a decolorized area where the shadow is. So i called your office here in cambodia and they charge me for their services wherein i have a warraqand told me it doesn't work here. Can you please help me with this?
compatibility issues between lg 70uh6350 tv and lg shc4 sound bar
In November 2016 we purchased a LG70UH6350 TV with a Samsung sound bar. When a problem was encountered using the HDMI cable to the sound bar, Samsung & LG telephone service advisors concluded there was an in compatibility issue.
In response I purchased an LG SHC4 sound bar in the belief the compatibility issue would not exist. Now after almost 2 months of repeated calls to LG, the issue has yet to be resolved. During this 2 month period there have been in excess of 10 conversations with LG customer service and executive service representatives with 3 separate RNN service numbers assigned to the problem, 3 service calls by an LG technician to my home, 2 shipments of the sound bar to LG for repair. Still no sound can be produced from the sound bar using the HDMI cables. During the last service call to my home, an extended call between the service tech and an LG engineer concluded there was a "software issue, ” since a replacement main mother board in the TV had not resolved the problem. This resulted in the 2nd shipment of the sound bar to LG where a PCB replacement was performed. The sound bar still did not produce sound using the HDMI cable following this “repair”.
Prior to receiving the sound bar back from LG for the 2nd "repair", LG contacted us to schedule a 4th service technician call to perform a "repair" to the TV. Since the sound bar had not been returned and we were out of town this visit was delayed. Upon our return, I called "executive services" to report the failure of the sound bar "repair" to resolve the problem and schedule the service call for the TV. This is when I encountered a very confrontational LG representative who demanded the sound bar be returned again and stated it was not my place to "demand" the service call to my home. I tried to explain I had been in contact with the service technician who stated this was necessary but she denied this was an authorized LG tech and there was no record to this effect. Given the history of the past weeks I strongly objected and the LG rep stated the service call would be made "to make me happy". Obviously I was very irritated and unhappy at the conclusion of this call.
In summary it seems that the LG organization is sorely lacking in numerous areas regarding the manufacture and support of their electronic goods as described below:
1. LG equipment is manufactured and placed into the market without appropriate compatibility testing. This failure in Quality Control reflects poorly on a company's reputation.
2. It would appear there is poor communication or reporting techniques between the various LG telephone service representatives, although they all seem to consult a computerized database. Furthermore there does not seem to be any communication between these representatives and their field service or in house engineering staff.
3. There would seem to be very poor general training of the general and executive telephone service staff which leaves the customer with the impression there is no firm commitment to resolve a problem but rather a response focused on delay and frustration tactics designed to discourage the customer from pursuing a resolution.
4. LG appears to have little interest in establishing or maintaining customer loyalty by seeking quick and effective resolution to problems. There seems to be no consideration of the impact dissatisfied customers could have on future sales by voicing their poor experiences both verbally to friends and electronically via the internet. Given the variety of LG products on the market this is highly surprising. This can quickly change a sales motto of "life is good" to "LOUSY GOODS".

I have had to replace two of the same type of phone, the LG G5. I am on my third one and I still have the same exact problems. My data connection doesn't work properly. It will say I am roaming when I am in my house, no other phone has done that. None of my family experiences that with their phones. My connection will say 4G, but then it will work really slowly to load or won't completely load a page or app. Not only that, my calls get messed up too and my phone signal rarely has 4 bars out of 5. It also has messed with my texting. It won't send a message due to signal issues. I can't believe that all three phones have had the exact same problems and they were all brand new phones. I don't know what else to do, but complain. Because nothing else is working.

Bought this lg tv about 2 years ago, the leds on the tv have gone faulty. I do not have the receipt and lg cannot assist with a serial number that gives you an idea as to how old the tv is. Very un-helpful call center. Show some accountability and passion for your products. I will never purchase an lg product again. I spent alot purchasing this tv and it lasts for only 2 years.

Hi I baught lg g3 a year ago, last week the phone simply died, fix it coast a lot a money and I prefer to buy a new phone, I heard Im not the first one who had that problem, the phone simply turned and crushed. I prefer to move to move to another company, its sad that company like lg doesnt take responsibility for her mistakes only after 1-year of use, ( the cost to fix was almost the same of the price of the new phone that I bought) I will never again buy an lg phone.

Intermittent loss of picture and sound. Been on phone with India I guess and everyone has a different answer. They try to blame it on outside sources like cable box or connections. All Samsung TVs work off the same connections and satellite. I'm the only one in the family for years that is ever bought an LG TV and now I know why. Customer service is less than poor. If I won a LG TV no matter how big it was I would give it away just somebody I didn't like. Apparently I need to throw TV in trash and just stick with Samsung like the rest of my family and friends. LG customer service has given me the run-around and apparently train to do so. TV lasted less than a year. Have 4 Samsung TVs that are 2 to 10 years old one in garage and 100° plus works great and 6 years old. Back to Customer service less than poor. Pretty bad when chain of stores drops LG altogether...

I have been having a major issue since the software update my phone 4 days ago. It was a HUGE download messing up my messaging and the blinking notification is no longer an option. So when my phone is plugged in and charging it doesn't blink therefore I have no idea I missed a call or a text. I called I believe 3 or 4 times to see about some solutions. Today I spoke with one tech, she transferred my call to google for tech support. Andy at Google transferred me back to a tech person at LG after she told me they only make the phone, not software update I asked to speak to a supervisor and the next thing I knew I was on hold with verizon. I am very displeased with her ducking out by transferring me to verizon. They Were helpful enough tried to clear cache, cookies and so forth but the issue of insufficient storage and only have 4 text messages still continues. we have booked a complaint on for LG refrigerator HLHM702 is not cooling on 08/05/2017 vide complaint no RNP170508089549 in the name of customer name Ramani V, representative from Hitech Service has attended our call and confirmed our compressor have failed we are merely surprised that within fifteen months of purchase our compressor has failed, On thinking LG is a valuable brand and good service but miserably failed on what we thought and came to know worst in performance which is our first disappointment but another is still even worse that even after twenty days we still didn't receive our compressor saying they haven't got compressor from spare this is a way you value your customer service is most important than selling product hope LG knows a value of service

I spoke with a lady 4/14 the same day I received my device from being repaired with lg. Device had small crack in screen and lg rep informed me that I would need to file a claim with FedEx and call back after doing so as lg would also need to make a claim, or else I'd be charged for the repair as my phone was still not working. I called FedEx and was informed claims needed to be filed on their website after hanging up I filed claim on their website. After filing claim I called lg yet again informed gentlemen I was told to file claim and he placed me on brief hold. When returning he informed me that the previous last that I had spoke with was going to file the claim on behalf of lg. I received a letter from FedEx on 4/25 informing me that my claim was denied as the shipper never filed a claim. I called lg yet again and some with a lady she informed me that lg was unable to file claim as I didn't have the original packaging of the device that it was sent back in. I told her had I known and was informed that the first day I would've had it but wasn't informed I needed it. She also informed me I would be charged for any repairs. I then spoke with several others I have dates and names that informed me that there was nothing that could be done and one told me a supervisor would be in contact with me but never happened. So I called again and was told there wasn't anyone over a supervisor to speak with.
Sounds about right. Their repair Dept. Does nothing! I sent my phone in and it came back with three new issues. But they won't stand behind their repair. LG IS A JOKE

I have a lg v 10 phone that I paid over 600 dollars for that is less then 2 years old . I can not use any more it is froze on the start up page. I toke it in and they said to contact lg . I would either like a new phone or half my money back at least . I did like my phone when I got it and I do like my lg tablets but to have a phone that you pay this much money for that just freezes up and longer works is not very good for business. our complaint was given 2 days back and still its not solved. they've given RNP [protected] as our registration number for our complaint.the technician had called us but he doesn't have the filling gas for our AC he've told that he's going to take more 2 to 3 days for getting it. they are the ones who are getting a bad name to the company. if you cant afford nice technicians then please stop marketing your products because we are the ones who are facing these problems not you. if theres any other option like legal issues where we can approach legally please suggest us.
