Liberty Mutual Insurance Car Insurance

Liberty Mutual does not take responsibility when their employees provide incorrect information. I contacted them to inquire about any fees associated with canceling my policy and was advised that there were none, and that I was paid up to date. However, after my policy was canceled, I was charged over $300 because the employee provided incorrect information. Had I known the stipulations, I would have waited until the end of the policy term to make any changes. I reached out again to have the fee waived, as my decision would have been different had I been given the correct information, but the company does not want to take responsibility for the misinformation provided. It is also very disappointing that the communications from the supervisor handling the issue were delivered with an attitude and without the use of spell check, which is very unprofessional.

Liberty Mutual Insurance quote made without my permission.

I have received letter that my quote was declined. I have never requested a quote from Liberty, I think agent run a quote and consumer reports without my permission.

I need to know what company run a quote, I am a planning to make lawsuit against Liberty.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Sewer back-up insurance

Furnace failed from multiple sewer back-ups. I was clear about this issue from the day I filed the claim. Liberty engaged in the claim and sought input from our plumbers who did not talk with them. This went on for a month, I had a change of senior adjusters and a site adjuster came out after a month and kept looking for damage other than the boiler. I was clear with him that after a sewer back-up, everything must be cleaned and sanitized, so there is little evidence left, After he left, the senior adjuster called me to tell me the furnace is not covered, citing it as "equipment". There is no exclusion for equipment in my copy of my policy. If the furnace was not covered, the first person I talked to could have told me that. Instead they let the farce go on for a month while it gets colder and colder outside and inside. I believe they should cover the cost of the new furnace.

Claimed loss: Cast Iron Boiler in steam furnace from repeated sewer back-ups.

Desired outcome: Pay for the furnace and stop delaying the process.

Liberty responded to my complaint by lying to me. My adjuster told me his boss had made a mistake. I told him they are responding because I complained, not because someone above him made a mistake and he admitted that was true. They then tried to schedule another adjuster to come to the house without informing me. After I forced them to talk to me, there were more lies, but I allowed the so called "Boiler Expert Adjuster" to come have a look.

The gentleman they sent came looking for a heat pump, not a steam furnace. I was instructed not to ask any questions when the visit was scheduled, so i watched silently. He called someone because he could not figure out how to get water in the boiler. Then he took apart the automatic feeder, this went on until I pointed out the fill valve was right in front of him. He then overfilled the boiler, paying no attention to the sight glass. Then he tried to start the pilot without turning on the gas to the boiler. I let that go on for about 3 minutes before I pointed out that the gas valve was closed. Of course it would not light. Then he asked me how to empty the boiler. I told him and went upstairs disgusted. This is their expert on steam boilers? THe last I saw, he was shoving his cell phone in the space above the burners and taking blind pics. After all this "expert" investigation, the report, which they will not give me a copy of, says the furnace broke down from wear and tear. So all the company was doing was covering their butt with a ridiculous "expert opinion" Photos show hard debris lines on furnace casingand mold in the insulation also shows water damage

Liberty Mutual Insurance Employee Tricia Ramirez

Will be sure to warn everyone that I know to not do business here and if they do to pull and find another company. Tricia Ramirez is a fraud and a thief. I can’t believe liberty would allow for this to be a representation of their company. Disheartening to say the least. They trust someone like this with personal information of their clients. Liberty Mutual Insurance Auto insurance cancelation

Hello I recently sent my auto ins payment through walmart payment provided by checkfreepay for 646.80 my payment was rejected and my policy canceled I called customer service they told that you do not accept checkfreepay and the only way to be reinstated I will have to pay a full year in advance. I feel this is unfair because I paid in good faith and paid on time according to checkfreepays website liberty mutual is one of the billers that accept payment through their service william wakeham policy aov-[protected] phone [protected]

Liberty Mutual Insurance Home Insurance

I am being billed for a premium on my home that I sold in September 2022. I called Liberty Mutual on July 20, 8:02 pm and spoke with Athena. I told her I sold my house and if there was any premium balance that it should have been taken care of through escrow. Athena said I had to email a copy of closing statement. I couldn't understand the email address she was saying, and I asked her if she could email me information. Say said no! At that point I told her I did not owe anything. Now I'm getting a notice from Credit Collection Services. I WILL NOT PAY LIBERTY MUTAL ANYTHING! I OWE THEM NOTHING, they are trying to collect for a premium when I no longer owned this property. This is Liberty Mutual's 'shot in the dark' to collect money that is not owed to them.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Sonata in Hyundai 2016

My car was stolen so june 10th 2023, it was found. The youngstown police were notified, car was towed to ludt towing, police report was made. This happen (theft of my car) on a saturday night i'm I didn't find out my car was stolen, until tuesday morning, I was sickin my apt with convic, sick as a dog, l call the rental office, ask them run the tape they only seen the car go up driveway, no id on the thiefs. Got in touch with liberty mutual, got a case no, gave my adjuster a recorded conversation what happened to my vehicle. I got a rental car was thirty day it is august 29, m uh car is still not fixed

Liberty Mutual Insurance Car/renter's insurance

I attempted to contact someone at LM for months. I spoke to someone who gave me the wrong email for backdate of cancellation. I spoke to a rep that I told before I'd make my final payment (due to lack of trust/respect) I would pay my final bill by check once received/reviewed my final bill they agreed to send out. I did so. I thought this was resolved until months later a collection agency notice came with additional $25 for cancelling autopay/still had not cancelled my renter's insurance. I switched to a diff carrier in March/proved via email. I can't get a response/every time I call, I get non English and rude people. I now have attempted to reach cooperate/no answer.

Desired outcome: Please clear this bill and remove me from the collection agency. Credit collection services.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Roadside service

On 7/23/2023 My truck broke down while driving on a mountainous highway, did not have cell service at the breakdown point. Walked 2 miles in 100 degree weather to get service, called Liberty Mutual (took forever to finally talk to a person) Person I talked to sounded as though they were going to call a towing service and basically made me feel like they would take care of coordinating everything and agreed that I would walk back to the truck to wait for the Tow service to arrive. And I walked back to my truck to wait for the towing service. After waiting, I wanted to call my wife, I again walked to get cell service, got two text messages from Liberty Mutual: "Payment is required to dispatch your service." and "Thanks for letting us know. We've cancelled your service request."

Can you imaging how pissed off I was? and if it would of been my wife or daughter that was broke down on the highway, and Liberty Mutual would of pulled this crap on her I would of strangled someone!

Needless to say I had to make all of my own arrangement for help. Absolutely no thanks to these worthless fools!

Liberty Mutual Insurance Liberty mutual home insurance

Liberty increased our Home and Auto $100 a month in May. We started looking to change carriers. Because I called in 2020 and 2021 to ask if we had flood and mold coverage, they put in a claim. I was only asking a question, not filing a claim. Now we have two claims on our policy and even though I have a "Letter of Experience" for 0$ on both "claims"/questions, no one else will cover us. Therefore Liberty has LOCKED us from getting other insurance for a cheaper rate.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Auto ins

Interacting with Liberty Mutual to resolve a claim by a company they own called Safeco. The agent I am working with Kelle Simmons claim # [protected]-01.

First was told to go to Caliber Collision on 4/27/23 and after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment 5/17/23 was told they cannot work on Audi and Liberty Mutual only wants an estimate from them before you take the car to an authorized Audi Collision center. On June 3 was finally able to get Audi in for an estimate. I was then able to get it in for repairs on 6/6/23. The Audi Collision Center contacted Kelle and sent her the estimate on 6/27/23. I contacted Kelle on 6/29/23 about the car rental, and on 6/30, Kelle replied, saying she was busy. On 6/30 told Kelle I rented a car (Audi A4) I drive an Audi A6. Send Kelle 3 emails and left 3 voice messages on 6/30 and 7/1. Still did not hear anything, sent another email and called on 7/11/23 asking for an update. Finally got an update on 7/12. Car is now ready but has a balance that is due, which on 7/24, Kelle said everything was paid. Most folks would call the lying. I sent Kelle an email on 7/24 asking if this remaining balance has been paid yet, and still no reply. Now its 7/25 and still no update. This is the first claim I had with Liberty (I had Ins with Liberty for 10 years) You always rate a service company by how well they handle an issue not by how they take your money. Jerry Goodreau

Liberty Mutual Insurance Do not act in good faith

“Liability” carrier for an electric furniture manufacturer blames the electrical component manufacturer for possible fire hazard shortage. As said per call at initial complaint. Mass production & the liability doesn’t support the insureds own contract of component choice. They don’t act in good faith. The State Dept of Insurance should investigate all these complaints of claims being denied. They will reply to the complaint as if they are concerned only to deny it over & over because they don’t cover the guts of the insured product. The internal components are the backbone to the electric furniture manufacturer’s product yet excluded when hazards arise. Leaving good people at loss. I know because I’ve got 3 denials back to back after voicing my concerns. This insurance company should be ashamed. Not good business Liberty.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Complaint

My AC system stopped working during a horrible storm that destroyed my roof and car. I have two experts who provided statements that the AC was damaged in the storm and they evidence of why they believed it. I was cheated $2,000 on the value of my car. Worse, my AC claim was denied despite the reports by two experts. (claim was 40 2023)

The adjuster I had to deal with was almost impossible to understand an from a foreign country. She did not bother returning my calls or emails. Then I tried to contact her manager and the manager would not speak to me.

I feel cheated and abused.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Auto claims

My vehicle was hit by Liberty Mutual policy holder on March 6, 2023. He initially agreed to pay for the repairs - $684. I had my vehicle repaired. Since it was a non-insurance (cash) repair, the shop did not take any photos of damage. After it was repaired, he reneged and did not answer my phone calls, emails, or text.

I opened claim #[protected] on March 15, 2023. They contacted the other driver, and he admitted fault. They opened claim #[protected] for him and agreed to pay the claim.

Since then, they've insisted that I provide the photos of the damage, despite me repeatedly telling them there were no pre-repair photos, and why they weren't taken.

It's now May 25th, and their claims adjuster is not returning my calls or my emails, the company is not replying to my web form submitted May 24 via mailto:[protected]@libertymutual.com.

Desired outcome: Pay the repair bill.

They canceled my policies stating I did not sign 1 form. The agent went over every single form I had to sign. Plus they had me agree to all the policy requirements and exclusions on a recorded line specifically yes or no answers to all requirements and exclusions. I know I signed all the forms. It even has the excluded drivers listed on my policy. Which is there reason for cancelation.
