I went online to pay house & truck insurance like I do every month but this time Nov 20 2022 it wasn't showing on my acct. I was paying every month without knowing payment wasn't being accepted.
I received a $150 credit from them on July 11th, 2022 I called them. my car insurance was paid up they said. I didn't know why so I also asked about the house & truck insurance and they said it was paid for that month but would be due the following month. All 3 were to be on one bill when I set this up in Feb but they said it couldn't until car insurance was done with its;s contract so I have been paying 2 bills with one on automatic payments.
My husband has been driving his truck without insurance because of Liberty mutual!
I should have never stayed with them because they sent $57 a couple of years ago to collections. I called and was told before it went to collections that it was paid and Not to worry.
Then 6 months later showed up on my credit report as not paid! I have disputed it twice but it still comes back on the report!
Desired outcome: For one take off the $57 from my credit report.
Braman Honda
About 3 weeks ago my CRV Honda refused to start and it was towed by AAA to Honda dealership on Lake Worth Rd in West Palm Beach to be repaired, I purchased an extended warranty to up to 100k miles, my car is under 98k miles. After a couple of days Honda called me and told me it was because the extensive corrosion in the system the vehicle needs the whole fuel system changed and I should call my Insurance Company (Liberty Mutual) because they should pay for this damage, they also requested pictures of the damage and Honda sent them the pictures. Honda says the damage might be possible injector damage from contaminated fuel. One company points at the other to pay for this damage. I am a 70 yr. old person who is not a mechanic and I think they are abusing me for my lack of mechanical knowledge. Is anybody who can help me here? Thank you so much. Alberto Lopez.[protected].
Desired outcome: I need my car fixed; I know I have to pay my deductible. I don't care if Honda or Liberty is the one responsible for the additional expenses, but I need my car fixed, please.
Roof Damaged Claim #[protected]
I brought my house 2013 and it has been inspected and insure with Liberty Mutual. Since. Last month my roof sustain heavy damaged due to storms. It has gotten so bad It was about ready to cave in I file a claim on Oct !3,2022. and it is costing me over $10,000 to repair. After waiting a few weeks for the adjuster to review. I only received a text, yesterday (Nov. 7,2022) saying,".We,ve reviewed your claim and unfortunately, it's not covered by your policy...Trying to reach the company is impossible.I told them I would like in writting the reason why...my roof is not cover. Why do I have insurance for/. Further more I have been paying almost 1500 dollars for a small ranch house until last years policy and they try to raise it to 1800 until I called to cancel before they came down to $604 which it should of been from the beginning...I would like this information in writting. I believe my roof should be cover. The is the reason I have insurance for.
Desired outcome: I feel that my claim should be cover by my policy and I would like the reason why it is not cover. This was no fault of mine.
Auto Insurance
My elderly parents had their claim rejected by liberty mutual. They have never filed a claim with this company and have always paid their premiums on time. This one time they try to use it and liberty refused to pay. My dad his an armadillo in his truck and missed up his front wheel. Mom called the shop explained to them she had insurance. The shop talked to the insurance about the damage. But per Liberty there was no claim filed prior to them talking to shop and refused to pay for any of the damage. My 70 year old mother called liberty and explained what happened and they still refused to pay for this claim.
Desired outcome: Please pay this claim.
Mom called them prior to find out if they pay for tow a d what her deductible was. They ts her to have the shop calm them which they did. She does have picture taken by shop and the are refusing them .
Liberty Mutual HOI
Hi. On I believe it was March 5, 2020 we were insured with Liberty Mutual. We had a water pipe break from our refrigerator ice maker water line. I called L.M immediately, and a crew was send out to fix it. NO PROBLEM! The EXACT same day/time I looked at the mortar on the OUTSIDE of our chimney, it was “soft”, so I called my HOI, Liberty Mutual, the simple question, “IS SOMETHING COVERED BY OUR HOI?” I was told NO. I hung up and that was that. I went to shop for cheaper HOI and I was told, “YOU ARE CONSIDERED UNINSURABLE!”. WHY? I asked and they explained the claim for the broken pipe, YES, it’s valid. Then they said I made ANOTHER CLAIM THE SAME DAY FOR MY CHIMNEY! Therefore I’ve had too many claims and am no considered UNINSURABLE! THIS IS A LIE! All I did was ask a question! I called Nexus
Lexus, they sent me a letter yesterday AGREEING WITH LIBERTY MUTUAL! Saying, many companies all that’s required to be reported as a claim, IS SIMPLY ASKING A QUESTION!

Treated like a criminal.
We recently had a flood in our basement that fell under a covered issue. After talking to my adjuster, Cody Erikson, and sharing my concerns about mildew issues in the furniture due to a severe allergy, I was made to feel like a liar and greedy criminal. He told me if I wanted any of my furniture to be covered because of mold I would have to pay out of pocket for someone to come and test it. Since speaking to him, he has proceeded to not give us a fair and honest estimate even though our policy clearly states it is to be returned to previous condition. This has been such a stressful situation. I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone.
Desired outcome: A fair compensation so my house can be returned to its previous condition.
Car insurance
This company is very misleading, the sales agents did not give me detailed information on the actual full cost of the insurance coverage I got. I spoke to several agents in regards, to my coverage and the full pricing. I thought I was paying the full amount for 6 months, turns out they do it for a full year and no one bothered to tell me the actual full pricing, they did not send any stamen's, no endorsements, through the mail or email, nothing. Also, they had the vin number of one of my vehicles wrong the whole time I was insured with them. Before cancelling I spoke to several agents in regards, to the balance of my account, they all told me I did not have one. I switched insurance companies, because I got a way better rate somewhere else. When I finally, cancelled I received a bill from them, for a high amount I was not anticipating, turns out they do your insurance plan for a whole year at a high price, but they don't tell you, and they make you think you are saving money. I called to dispute this bill, but the people just like to go in circles, they actually had the nerve to tell me that I would be saving more money, if I stayed with them than with the current company I went with, when three other people with this company had already given me higher quotes. All I see is this company misleading customers and agents not giving detailed information on coverage full cost, no paperwork is sent home through mail or Emal to review everything. Now I am left with an unexpected bill from them because they failed to give u detailed information. I do not recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Denial of renewal of auto and reason why!
My name is Jeffrey L. Rowe a customer of Liberty Mutual a year next month, whom has been truthful upfront regarding All prior claims and made All payments on time! I have two policies with Liberty Mutual auto and renters, both with auto pay. I just found out because of $1400.00 claim for hitting pothole 5-2022 I will NOT be eligible for auto renewal. I'm at a loss here, and not to mention I have no claims regarding my renters policy but was also informed my renters policy will be increased, again no renters claim. I'm on a fixed income but have a 2020 Honda that require me to have full coverage on my auto, thank GOD my car is paid in full. Liberty Mutual conveyed to me after teeth pulling because of prior driving history and claim of the pot hitting incident, but Liberty Mutual knew of my driving history before they insured me last year. Sadly, these days I scramble to find auto full coverage, but oh my, the other insurance companies are just having a delightful field day in quoting me so very high monthly auto premiums, most of which I cannot afford! Again, I'm at loss for words and in jaw dropping awe, but God will make a way! Amen, Amen and the WHOLE Church SAYS AMEN!

I have been with Liberty for 3 years now and each year they have gone up for no reason have not filed any claims and no accidents Home insurance from 1,000-2000 now 2814 car insurance i changed from full tort once my vehicle was paid off coverage for 2 vehicles went from 86.00 per month to 96.00 per month a 2007 vehicle and 2015 vehicle If the persons are not reporting accidents and nothing has happened to there home why are they constantly going up for no reason at all.
On 18Oct22 Leffler Energy on Auto Delivery dispersed 173 g of oil at 6.99 per gallon that bill was 1214.00 that bill is astronomical and I did contact cause apparently in 2011 I was on a ceiling plan which at that time was changed to variable. I know this price must have been higher than any other company. I have been with Leffler since Dec 2003 I have purchased a new boiler with them and just in Feb of this year I purchased I new tank through them I know that this is bad business not sure who to go to at this point. The contract has just been changed from variable to ceiling not to go higher than 5.99 per gallon.
Roofing and inside ceiling in garage
I noticed the ceiling coming down in my 82yr old mothers garage to find out it was leaking. I contacted the company for an estimate for the garage and roof repair. Due to the fact the roof had two layers it would be covered under home insurance.
The estimate that was given from Liberty Mutual was for the roof and garage. The company stated the contract never had anything about the garage ceiling and that would be extra. and that the roof was complete and I have a text from the sales person saying considered it a savings.
the company attempted to have me complete a new contract (now that has disappeared) for another apx $860.00 to complete the garage ceiling.
I informed them I would never pay them more money after being told that the roof was complete and to :consider the rest a savings and that they would not do the ceiling. (I have all this in text messages) The company then attempted to back peddle wanting the depreciation amount from Liberty Insurance and the ded. Contracts were dated inappropriately and again once I informed the company I felt I was being scammed they have now put a mechanics lien on my mothers house and a complaint with liberty mutual. I attempted to file a complaint with Liberty Mutual months ago and requested their help but was told since I did not use one of their companies they could not help me. Someone reached out from this company wanting to know what happened and would get back to me - I sent him the text stated the roof was paid for and to save the deductible
since they did not complete the garage ceiling which was the initial reason for contacting them That gentlemen never even called or texted me back name of William Leasure. Due to the aggravation with this company the scamming of another contract that is now no longer in existence and I have text messages to keep the deductible since we will not complete the ceiling
Desired outcome: I am more than reasonable to pay them $1000.00 for the finished roof and the rest i will use to have another home improvement company complete the garage ceiling.
Inadequate auto insurance claims services and information
I filed an auto claim on 8/25/22 after an elderly woman crashed into my car while I was at a stop. At no time was I ever informed as to how I could mitigate the losses incurred by this auto accident. No information or services as to how I could recoup my loss of 6 weeks of work and other emotional trauma caused by being at a complete stop and being plowed by a car moving at 45+ mph.
I asked to speak to a manager to gain more clarity and specific info over a month ago, no one has bothered to call or contact me. I also called my local rep in Honolulu, HI and he apparently thinks that being unaccountable to my written email request is suitable in representing Liberty Mutual services to a 30+ yr loyal customer.
I am disappointed that this has take me to these lengths just to get precise knowledge as to how I can obtain some recovery losses by this auto accident.
Is it too much to ask Liberty Mutual claims manager to provide a customer some necessary information that was not provided to her by her claims adjuster?

My car was hit by your insured by backing into my car in a parking lot on 9/23/22. I have the badge number of the police officer assisting the complaint at the time. I reported this to my agent name of Robert Tapp Claim# [protected] with phone and email of [protected] n. and Robert.Tapp @libertmutal.com. on 9/22/2022. 2 emails have been sent with only one generic response, with 3 voicemails sent to him directly with no response or callback. Pictures of the damage have been sent to Mr. Tapp. I have left 3 voicemails, to advise of next steps to get my car fixed - with no response from Mr. Tapp. need to know the next steps on my repairs for my car as well as my tire that was demolished and flatten by the occurrence. to this day Mr. Tapp has not returned phone calls or email response. Auto accident claim (Liberty Mutual driver hit my son)
My son was hit while driving in his school parking lot and had the right of way by a Liberty Mutual driver on August 1, 2022. He was coming to a stop due to other students at his school were walking towards the school in the parking lot, so he was giving those walking students the right a way. The parked Libery Mutual driver didn't even look and just pulled out very quickly and hit my son's driver side back tire and fender well area scraping paint off that area.
The driver that hit him got out of his car and took responsibility of causing the accident which was heard by at least 3 witnesses at the scene of the accident. The driver was an instructor at my son's school and after pictures were taken of both cars they went inside to look at security camera footage. The footage clearly showed the Liberty Mutual driver was at fault and my son called police for a report, but was told since it was personal property he didn't need a report done. Each driver exchanged information as well at the scene.
My son called that afternoon after getting home from school at 4:45p and talked to Rick Randle in Liberty Claims and the claim information was taken down. Mr. Randle was given all witness names and numbers/information and policy number of driver who hit my son/the details of accident/pictures were sent if both vehicles/name and number of school contact that had the security footage. Our son was told Mr. Randle would be contacting everyone/getting video footage and would be receiving an email and phone call to do recorded statement and the followup of the claim.
My son heard NOTHING from Mr. Randle and was emailed/letter from another rep (Briana Holland). He was finally contacted to do his recorded statement and was interrupted constantly by the person collecting the statement and it was not his claim rep, but another one he believed was Rachel Hammontree. He then tried reaching out to the rep Briana Holland and the new rep Rachel and heard NOTHING.
He received a letter on August 30, 2022 from Rachel Hammontree stating that their Liberty driver that HIT my son/accepted responsibility at the scene/video footage showing it was his fault was NOT legally responsible for this claim. The insured name on the letter is NOT the person who hit my son, but it was her husband.
NO WITNESSES were ever contacted/to our knowledge NO video footage was ever obtained from school official/pictures also clearly showed it was the Liberty driver's fault!
Our son called and left yet another message for Rachel Hammontree to explain why and how she came to this conclusion and that was 2 days ago and as ALWAYS NO reply!
This treatment of our son and this accident is very appalling to me!

Auto policy rental car
I was in a car accident that was not my fault last month. I was given a rental car. I found out today from the rental car company that LM has stopped paying for the car almost 10 days ago. And the other insurance company doesnt pay. Liberty Mutual didnt call me at all. Due to pandemic and supply chain shortages my car wont be ready til November. I will now not have a car. I dont know many people who can afford to have a rental car for over 3 months.

Unclear Plans for my vehicle repairs and rentals
I filed a claim on my car due to rodent damage. I was told I would be given a rental during the time my vehicle was being repaired, I then got told I did not have rental car coverage, I have never had a policy without it, then told yes I did have the coverage, they reserved me a vehicle, said was going to pay my claim, and even called the company where my car is and said payment was on the way. They was gonna order the parts yesterday. So I am praying they have not tore my car down in preparing to make the repairs you all said you was paying. and then later in the day I got a call saying I was responsible for this rental car and that they stopped the payment on the repair. This is such bad business, and I work for a lawyer as a legal secretary so I do know they would not have reserved me a car without knowing if I had the coverage or not. And the repair was rodent damage, how do you say when exactly it took a last chew on a wire.

My car got hit a month ago, liberty mutual had me take photos-of my car. I did not understand they were using them to settle my case. They used the pictures to settle, Which took about three weeks. I was told by Daniel Ligon even though I insisted they no longer have adjusters that physically look at cars. They sent me a check for $900.00 which I did not except, after my repair shop worked with me we finally got them to send an adjuster the final damage is over $17,0000. So now I’m getting the run around. The Value of my CRV is around $28,000. So now the insist on totaling my car. I would like to join a class action suite against Liberty Mutual for fraud.
Desired outcome: I want my car fixed
They gave me the same amount, they towed me to their preferred shop and now the rental had to be returned, my car won't be fixed until a part comes in (Late September, early October). The error panel (illuminated screen that tells you what's wrong) went haywire and now they're saying it wasn't caused by the accident.
Auto Insurance
We have been working on a vandalism auto claim since last month with Liberty. Our car was broken into, all 4 tires and rims were taken off our SUV and left on block as well as some extensive body damage.
We filed our claim with Liberty May 18th, 2022. They came and picked up the vehicle May19th to take it to their location to have it inspected. Initially, they told us the vehicle would be totaled due to the extent of the damage and we were to hang tight and they would advise us what the next steps would be once the appraisal came back. I reached out the following week to our initial claims adjuster, Lequita to see where they were at with getting that done. She said they were just waiting on the paperwork from the appraisal, that was on May 25. On the 27th, she sent me a list of shop to have the vehicle sent to for the repair. I asked for the estimate and when I got it, it said the vehicle could be fixed for just under $2k. The wheels and tires alone are $4k, so that prompted a phone call. In the midst of all this, the claim was then bounced to another adjuster, Richard. We contacted Richard and went through everything and discussed getting a supplement appraisal done. This was on June 2nd. He agreed that with the extent of the damage, there would be no way to fix the vehicle for what the initial appraisal said, so he said he would order another appraisal on the vehicle. That was ordered with the conversation we had on the 2nd. They weren't able to get someone to appraise the vehicle until the week of the 13th or this is what we were told. It would be done by the end of the week. End of the week comes and I get a call from Kirks Appraisers and spoke with James. He needed authorization from Liberty to go inspect the vehicle as well as the initial appraisal. Liberty did NOT send this to them, I personally sent it. I have emailed and called multiple times since to follow up and make sure this gets done. I was told at the end of last week which would be the 24th that the appraisal was done and they were waiting on the inspection paperwork from Kirks Appraisal to see if the vehicles is fixable or if its totaled. I have heard nothing which prompted me to call Kirks Appraisers today (mind you, also in the meantime, I again have a new adjuster, Saheed, why it takes 3 adjusters to settle a claim I dont know), but Bree with Kirks Appraisers advised me they have called and left Messages with Richard and have not gotten a call back with the authorization they need, SO THEY APPRAISAL HASNT EVEN BEEN DONE YET AND WE ARE ON WEEK 6 OF THIS! We pay good money for Liberty and they have more than dropped the ball on this. This is extremely unprofessional that I have to do all of this work to ensure they are doing their jobs!
Desired outcome: Get this claim settled today or I will further escalate this issue to a corporate level
Liberty Mutual Auto (for a golf cart)
Early in May 2022, I found other more reasonable coverage for my golf cart. I informed Liberty Mutual that I would be cancelling my coverage with them on May 14, 2022 and requested a prorated refund of unearned premium. They have declined stating some odd provision that allows them to keep the unearned premium. I sited a difference in language from the initial policy to the one in force at the time of cancellation. One would think that after 7 years with the company and no claims filed, they would be more reasonable.
Desired outcome: Appropriate refund of unearned premium.
Workman's Comp case manager
I have been on Workman Comp. I have filed my milage with Andrea Wilson numerous times and she will not contact me. I call her and her voice mail does not even give you a choice to speak with her team. I need to speak with someone. She (Andrea Wilson is case manager that is not call back or doing her job. I know that I am not the only person that has had a problem with her lack of work. I will be contacting a lawyer about her if I do not have get some satisfaction.
