drone ordered on 12/5/15
I ordered a remote control drone from Light in the Box on 12/5/15. The item was supposedly shipped on 12/11/15, with 6-8 business day delivery. As of 12/22, I have been unable to get the shipment status, except for "in transit." I have opened two complaint tickets, but the reply, in essence has been, "be patient." I will never order an item again from this site. Please add my dissatisfaction to the list of complaints.
this site is horrible!
I made an order on November 12 and paid extra for it to ship within 7 business days. The website said it shipped on November 14. They have two tracking sites, but they are useless. Every time I wanted to track my item both websites gave me an error page. I sent few messages to their customer support asking what happened with their tracking system and where can I get the information about y item. Their agent replied only that shipping takes 7 business days, and nothing about the tracking system. Several weeks passed, and it was already December 10, and my item still wasn’t delivered. I went to their tracking sites again, but there still was an error. I asked their agent about my item, but he said “shipping takes 7 business days”. This site is horrible, their tracking system doesn’t work, and their agents don’t provide any help! I hope I’ll get my item. Well, do yourself a favor and so not buy anything from this site.

In late November I ordered a three piece canvas, picture with a clock on the canvas. ORDER Number: [protected].I have had NO email from light in the box to say when my order will be delivered.On Saturday the 19th of December I received a letter from parcel Force saying my parcel is subject to customs charges raised by Border Force on behalf of HM REVENUE & Customs. I made several purchases in Nov for my daughter for Christmas I ordered 6 of the minecraft wall decals and minecraft comforter bedding set . I received a minecraft cloth not comforter bedding set like pictured in their site . I have yet to receive the wall decals. I have made several tickets asking for tracking the packages and there is no information given only it takes 5 -8 days to arrive Yet company states items were shipped Nov 27 ? It's Dec 17 . I would not recommend this company to anyone I have asked for a refund and yet to get response back .
lack of delivery
I placed an order on 11/15/15. The funds were processed from my account on 11/16/15. The order on their sight show shipped 11/21/15. With Super Saver Shipping. Which says 10 - 20 business days. It has a Track my delivery with PNL [protected]. This is Chinese postal. There is no tracking. The phone number to contact in the US has a message this number is temporarily unavailable, try again later. This has had the same message for 2 weeks. It has been 28 days since I place the order. I have no way of contacting the shipper, or Light in the box. I placed a second order on 11/28/15, this order has expedited shipping of 3 -5 business days. The funds were charged to my card on 11/29/15. As of today 12/14/15 this order not even shipped. I have tried sending a message through their contacts on the web page. No response. The phone number does not work. This is extremely poor customer service and horrible business practices.

I ordered a couple of small electrical items from LightInTheBox (VGA to HDMI converter etc). After 4 weeks, no delivery! I sent a complaint to the online system. Eventually, got a reply saying that the order had been returned as being "not able to deliver". Interesting as I have used that same delivery address for on-line purchases for many years with no problems. So, where is my refund? 10 (yes 10) complaints to the online system, with a couple of gibberish replies quoting internal transaction numbers supposedly confirming a refund had been made to my credit card - but still no refund 2 months later. This company is a disgrace - they have no customer support, as as far as I can tell this is a scam. I have not received my order, nor any refund, so I'm $120 out of pocket. Do not use this company.

I ordered shipments from this website in november and received all but 1 item on this site. As compensation they promised to return money back into my paypal account. Later I received a new ticket saying they are not allowed to give back my money. I am very upset as I do not want to have this happen to me again. This has been a long process and I have yet to see this credit in my rewards & credit section. If you get all your items then amazing you are the lucky one. If you didn't and expect your money to come back... Good luck. This website is terrible don't waste your money here!

non delivery and no refund when asking for a refund
Pathetic service delivery, empty promises and crooks, taking your money, not delivering a product and then not refunding you when you ask as you have to wait till the deadline of the second or third time's attempt at sending a parcel to you - that is what Lightinthebox offers. We ordered 5 separate parcels during the start of October and the longest waiting period is 20 work days. It is now almost December and after numerous emails ("tickets") I have now requested my money back and for them to then contact their couriers and get their parcels back from wherever it is in transit as it's not my problem any longer. They do not want to give me my money back when I ask, as they say I must wait for the parcel. I find it pathetic to have to wait almost 2 months for parcels ordered, which was promised to be here within 10 - 20 work days. They keep making empty promises and moving up delivery dates, promising to send parcels again, when we have had enough time waiting and just want our money back. They are rude and crooks, if they want to keep money for items not delivered. They want to give us Credit for our account to purchase again, but we never want to make use of their online shop again as the service is probably the worst from any online store we have ever used. My items alone are $77.50 and I would just like them to refund me without any more hassles.

They then emailed me about the time it takes to go through a thorough inspection then carefully boxing it. There is nothing on the site saying that it takes many days to get the purchase ready to ship and that 3-5 days is what it takes when they actually ship! I told them that this is deceptive and that they need to explain that on the site. They only mention that policy on site with Super saver shipping. I will never order from them again.

I am from Bangalore, India. I had ordered and paid for in full, through credit card, for a Sony Camera leather case. (Order No.[protected]) on Sept 8, 2015. I was told it will take 10-20 days for delivery. I had additionally paid for shipping & insurance separately. Nowhere can I contact them in the site even through on the site it says that my item has been processed and already shipped. This on Sept 12th and now its almost 55 days and there is no sign of my item. My have lost my money. Whats worse, my credit card details has been stolen 15 days later with some spurious transactions that I never made. I have disputed with the bank who are investigating. I have no direct proof that the two are linked but this is plausible in the overall context. I made a terrible mistake with this "fake" website. I am sure that it is run by Chinese scamsters. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. Don't buy from this website, ever.

This company has to be the worst I have ever had to deal with. I ordered a product on September 16th and came to find out it may take 30 days to receive a product that shipped on the 24th of September that is merely going 5 states. When I contacted the company their only response was what appeared to be a generated email explaining they use ground shipping as the cheapest form of shipping. So my question is what ground shipping do they use? horse and buggy, I know I have shipped products out of the country weighing more than 15lbs and they arrived to their destination within 10 days, I have shipped products by ground within the US and it takes 3-7 business days. So my question is why would it A. cost 15 dollars for ground shipping for a product no heavier than 2lbs? and B. why would it take 30 days? wait I know SCAM artist that's what it is, that's why no matter how many times you email them you receive exactly the same email in response and its exactly why they cannot be reach by phone! stay clear of this company, especially when there are several others providing the same services...but do it honestly!

I placed an order 2 months ago and have still not received it! I contacted them twice by submitting ticket and inquiring about the status of my order & they responded it was shipped and I will receive it in 10-20 business days. The order was placed 2 months ago (Aug. 3, 2015) and I have still not received it as of sept 24, 2015!
I went to contact customer service again and they have removed their option to submit a 'ticket' to inquire about the status of the order, they have no email address not do they provide a phone number.

I ordered because I could select 6-8 business days for delivery (for an extra fee) but then they say it will arrive on Oct 3, which is 24 days, this is unacceptable. Until you have completed your purchase, you are not shown that you must add two different deliveries to get your total number of days. Which begs the question, "Why can't your website calculate that BEFORE you pay?"

The latest ones being the morning of 9/2/2015 (and I unsubscribed AGAIN the night previous 9/1/2015). Please stop sending me emails.

I am very disappointed with this sites lack of customer service. They should be required to state on their site an ordering page so that consumers know they don’t have a customer service to take care of their orders if there are problems. I ordered a dress and several other items I needed for a beach wedding and photo shoot this weekend. I paid for expedited shipping & paid through paypal. Everytime I checked online for my order it kept saying “Pending” but without any explanation or link to follow up on. I contacted customer service several times to find out what pending meant and what the status of my expedited order was, I never received an email or phone call from their company regarding any problems with the order and I only received a couple of generic replies to my service requests that gave directions on how to check the order online, which is what I had been doing without any notifications or reasons for delay from the company and with absolutely no way to contact the company by phone to talk to someone even though their site states there are reps in 27 different languages to help. Well, I never received any help from the company on my order and I needed it today! I also gave my complete phone number twice to my customer service inquiries and asked that someone please call me so I could find out what to do & no one called ever! Today I logged on and someone on their site changed the pending to pending with a question mark that when I dragged over it said payment incomplete. Now, I never received any notice from paypal that there was a problem or from the company, so there was nothing I could do to take care of it in a timely manner. Basically, this shows they do not have a true customer service department or follow through with request from customers to explain the problem or even call since they do not provide any type of a phone number for customers to call. All consumers should be made aware of this type of service so they can fully understand they will not be able to contact the company for help or receive a direct reply for help on orders, this is quite different from most online companies, so they should make this information known on their site so people know when they are ordering they will not be able to speak with anyone, or even get a direct reply in email at the very least!
