Live Nation Concert vip package

i have forwarded the below, several times now by email, with no reply !

Dear Sirs,

I am writing to you with utter disappointment from my experience, of your My Universe Lounge for Coldplay- Music of Spheres Tour 2022 at Hampden Park VIP Tickets

The show its self was brilliant, however the hospitality of which your company organised, was completely unacceptable, and I would like you to treat this email as a focal complaint of a failure to provide goods and services as advertised.

The package should have included the following:

Pre-show My Universe Lounge includes:

2 course sustainable local sourced menu/open bar - beers wines softs (no cocktails or champagne)

Break out space with local climate change campaigners **

Learn about climate change & the importance of making a difference

Post show party - cash bar

Official eco friendly laminate & lanyard

Specially designed sustainable Coldplay Gift

Pre-show tour merch shopping opp

Photo opp in front of the My Universe Lounge backdrop

Designated Check-in & on site staff

Firstly, there was not a designated check in staff, and after sign, in we were left to walk around the stadium, eventually finding the hospitality area, like many others who we just directed to go up the stairs and someone will great you… ( which they didn’t)

Upon finding the hospitality , we were told that due to catering issues, there was only beef available.

As non meat eaters, there was nothing that was suitable for us both to eat.

There was no post show party, just a bunch of Live nation employees, tucking into their sandwiches and crisps. The bar was open, but hardly a party.

We always opt for upgrade tickets for events, and never experienced this level of poor standard.

Staff, on mobile phones

Staff, eating and the dining tables,

No on Site management

Hideous food options

What could have been an amazing experience was marred, by the Live nation team and the lack of attention to detail and service that was offered.

However , if my experience is what you consider correct, please let me know what other level of VIP ticket is available for future bookings, as Im due to take corporate clients to further Cold Play dates, and would be deeply embarassed if they were to experience the same.

I eagerly await your response.

Live Nation Ladies bag policy

Just a money scam, don’t allow women into events with their bag or purse. Women have to leave the line and pay $10 to store their bag. No responsibility or legal coverage. They then sell $5 to buy a clear bag. This has zero to do with security. Purely a money racket. Legalized theft. We had to return to our hotel to drop off the bag rather than pay. Then rejoin the back of a large queue again. Spoiled the concert in Boston.

Desired outcome: Hopefully thousands complain about this scandalous scam

Live Nation Hombres G Dallas TX

Like every complaint I see about Ticketmaster Live Nation service, VIP packages were not available at check-in, we arrive on time, staff on behalf of ticketmaster live nation requested my address and phone number, which I agreed on even thought I remind the staff that it was stated on the terms and conditions of the tickets, that items not picked up at check in will not be shipped out, they still requested my personal information and recorded in a notebook along with many others. There were not preferred seats or special zone offered. Basically we were scammed and robbed with $150 USD in excess for 4 tickets, a total $600 USD. It is very unfortunate that ticketmaster utilizes a side entity to take advantage of users and its customers. Customer service is shameful and a disgrace misleading, disregarding and tendentiously misinforming customers to avoid providing the service. I am seeking venues to escalate this issue legally and to get compensation not only for those $600 USD we were scammed. Ticketmaster live nation is a fraud.

Desired outcome: Compensation

Live Nation Big gig, sammy hagar, george thorogood, queensryche and glorious sons. September 3, 2022 @ rv innstyle amphitheater.

September 3, 2022

RV Inn Style Amphitheater

Nothing was “As advertised”!

1) lineup changed several times, of five + acts, it was reduced to just three.

2) Special close in parking required you to walk all the way around the building. We, along with others, purchased this parking because disabilities or handicaps.

3) customer service representatives were unprepared for the job at hand it seemed as though nobody had a clue as to their position or the process.

4) VIP chalet was not available until 7 o’clock however it was not VIP you just had to be 21 so everyone got in for free! I paid $65 for each person for a total of $130.

5) VIP Pavilion closed early so the special bathrooms are no longer available. again, these tickets were purchased because of disabilities and ease of access to the bathrooms.

6) trying to understand why the confusion and disorganization, I spoke with several of the “leads”

and most were very snide and cocky, they had no sympathy or concern for the patrons!

We have been regularly attending performances at this venue for more then a decade (7 this year alone) and have always pushed to our friends and peers how great this facility is and that "IT IS THE BEST!"

To conclude:

I will be seeking a refund for the VIP Pavilion at the very least. I also feel the fact that patrons with Lawn tickets were place in premium seats is great for them but I also feel the ones that spent the extra money were not treated fairly.

Sincerely,

K.H.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund for the VIP Pavilion ($130) along with compensation for reduced venue fulfillment.

Live Nation Our seats were not given to us per our tickets.

On 9/3/22 we went to the Shoreline amphitheater to see Keith Urban and found

out that our seats were given to another party and they refused to accommodate us and I don't think its right that I should seat in back of these

people well there seating in our chairs. The workers there could not help or

refused too. I then went to the lobby to talk to the Live Nation lady that works

there and she said she gave these people our chairs and I still don't know why?

She wanted me to go tell these people to get out of our chairs when she gave

them to them. I felt that she was very rude and that it is not my job to do that.

Why would I have to ask these people to move behind us and then there would

tension among us. I don't feel that this was handled properly at all. I need to know if you guys can give me our money back or give me tickets to another concert. The whole thing got me very upset so I had to leave. I am still not

sure why our seats would be given to someone else when we paid for

them? Please feel free to call me if you have any question's. My phone number is at the bottom. Our order number # is 63-36418/NCA

Thank you,

Dolores

Desired outcome: Money back or another concert.

Live Nation Racism at concert

whomever else should be fully aware of this incident.

I was given the name of the head of security by my coworker (Rob C.), who said to reach out directly to you, as he believes you would be the best person to handle reporting of this incident.

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint of racism and harassment, experienced by my family last night (8/14/22) at the Goo Goo Dolls concert at approximately 10:10pm occurring in the mid lawn section, VIP side.

I purchased 8 tickets to this show nearly 3 years ago. As you know, many concerts had been postponed. Only 3 of the original 8 could even make the show, so I've already walked in years late and at a deficit. My fiancé, son and I each got food, soda, popcorn - pre-paid for parking and 2 lawn chairs. So easily, this was a $300 night. And, we have been to this venue at least 4 times since last year. We have always had a pleasant time. I'm pointing this out to say - we are and have been paying customers. Certainly not high rollers, but I have literally spend thousands there in the past year and a half.

Last night started about the same. Every person we encountered was friendly - from the parking directors to the gate, to the ticket takers and the vendors alike.

We found a great area to set up our seats on the lawn, even making friends and talking with the folks around us.

My fiancé and my son got up a few times to get sodas and snacks. At first, they went over to an area to purchase food, and while my son (who is white) was allowed in, unquestioned, my fiancé was told he was not to enter without proof of VIP status (paraphrasing) - forcing him to leave my 9 year old on his own. He wasn't even allowed to go in to get him. He stood there yelling for my child as the security told him “sorry man, it’s policy”

Fortunately, my son came back fairly quickly, and was safe, but that was sure something.

I brushed it off because my son came back a few scary minutes later and he was safe. And the night continued.

The boys got food at the regular food area near the entrance. My fiancé (Mike) and I discussed purchasing season tickets to the lawn since we'd had a great time the past several times we'd been here and we know we'd be back. We relaxed in our rented lawn chairs, while my son sat at our feet snuggled in a blanket.

About mid-point through the Goo Goo Dolls set, 2 security guards walked directly up to us - and said - direct quote "THERE HE IS. THE BIG BLACK GUY." and both kind of smirked. One finished by saying "With the bald head" and put his hand on my fiancé, standing just behind us. Hovering over us.

One of them said "The kid sleeping?" I replied "Yes, is there something I can help you with?", clearly amused he replied "Nope." And, they continued to stand over us for a good minute before walking away, quite amused with themselves. Safe in the knowledge that we knew they were watching us and that they had ruined our night by singling us out. We were doing nothing out of the ordinary, just sitting in our chairs on the lawn trying to enjoy a show. There were parties of 10 and 8 and 5 all around us. All white - and not a single one of them were even looked at.

Which leads me to my point - I would like to know WHY these two security guards felt safe enough to harass us in your venue.

Why did they feel like it was OK to come up to a family, and hover over them putting their hand on my fiancé and standing over us, as if to let us know that they can do and say whatever they want - and specifically be looking for my fiancé as "the big black man ...with the bald head". Their behavior was like something out of an old 50s movie about racism - and, in all of my 22 years as a NH resident I have NEVER encountered this.

I was so stunned by their behavior I was trying to believe there was some other reason they had come up to interrupt our evening. There was not.

Meanwhile, the white family just to our right, smoking joint after joint wasn't targeted. Nor was the group of 10 drunken people celebrating a woman's birthday behind us - none of these people were approached.

But, we were.

These guards were looking for him. Walked directly up to him. Standing over him, amused, in full knowledge they were making an example of him and ruining his night.

I am so thankful my son was asleep because he doesn't need to see this disgusting display - and I am SURE this is not how you want your venue viewed.

Truth be told, I wanted to follow those guards and ask them to explain themselves. But, my fiancé advised against, fearing they would kick us out - which was obviously their intent, fear. So, I waited until I could find someone after the show had ended. At the end of the concert, I found and spoke with your employee Mike and his female counterpart (I didn't get her name), the leads of the lawn security crews and 2 others just after the concert ended.

Prior to this episode we were having a blast. Laughing, enjoying the sights, the moon, the music, the atmosphere. Just up until two of your security guards decided to target us because and for no other reason than that a "big black guy ... with the bald head" happened to be sitting in their area.

The more I think about this episode, the angrier I get. The more people I share this story and the angrier my fiancé, my family and my friends get. How DARE they do this to us!

We paid to be there. We bought the add-ons. We sat quietly.

Yet, still they targeted us.

I want this investigated. I want those two to be required to take a racial sensitivity course, and/or I want them FIRED.

I want a response. I want to know how this has been handled.

And, I don't want to feel like your venue isn't safe for my family to attend.

I never want to feel the way your staff made us feel last night - I truly cannot believe this happened.

The worst part is, I probably would never have believed it, had I not been present for it.

Two fools get some walkie talkies and a flashlight and they become big men? Why would they have felt comfortable enough to harass us? Is this commonplace at your venue? Are only white families allowed to attend? Do I have to leave my fiancé home if I want to attend a concert now?

I certainly hope not. I will say that the staff I did speak with about this were truly shocked by the behavior these other two exhibited. I couldn't give an apt description of them as they stood behind us, were in hats and white shirts, and again - I was shocked at what was happening.

This incident needs to be addressed immediately, because people like that DO NOT belong in any position of authority, even if they only hold a flashlight and a walkie talkie - their behavior is dangerous.

To say this is unacceptable is an understatement.

Please consider this a formal complaint of harassment and racism experienced at Bank of NH Pavilion.

Desired outcome: Detailed Already. Reported to “Experience director “ at BNHP who basically said we could get tickets to “a show this season” and he wouldn’t reveal training or what consequence the employees would have.

Live Nation Security at alpine valley

I attended the phish concerts at Alpine Valley on August 12, 13, and 14, 2022. As a long time concert goer, this was not my first time at this incredible venue. A new process that the phish organization implemented this year is an early entry lottery system, by which you submit your name and contact information for a chance at an assigned spot "in line" for early entry. My husband and I were lucky enough to get the #1 and #2 spots in the lottery on August 13th. Both of us have attended many shows, but have never had an experience to see a concert from the front row. We arrived at 4:30pm as instructed and were brought into the venue at 5:30pm, and took our place in the front row. We had an incredible time during the first set. Unfortunately, at the start of the 2nd set, a guy & girl shoved their way into the space behind us and the people behind us escalated the issue very quickly, yelling at the couple and signaling for security to come. A security guard came up to the rail and stated there was nothing he could do. The people behind us continued to escalate and signaled for additional security to come. Eventually 5 security guards were having a verbal argument with the couple that forced their way up front - directly in front of us/ in our spot. The couple did not have proper bracelets to be in the pit. The verbal back and forth went on for a couple of minutes, all directly in the spot my husband had been standing the whole show. Security continued to verbally argue with the guy who did not have proper tickets to be in the pit, but did nothing to remove the person. Eventually my husband had to physically remove the guy from his space as he was not moving. The guy threw a beer on my husband and he just left the show very upset. First, this was not our issue and we were not the people that called security over in the first place (the people behind us did), and second, they should have dealt with the issue by coming out into the crowd and addressing the issue where it was happening (behind us) and not IN OUR SPOT. I asked the security guards to please take this issue aside, twice. They completely ignored me and continued to yell and argue with the guy directly in our spots for several minutes. This was very poorly handled and completely unprofessional.

Desired outcome: I would like reimbursement for the cost of our tickets as the entire incident ruined our experience.

Live Nation Seating and Customer Support

I would like to express a concern. My husband and I went to a concert there Friday 8/12/22. The lawn was closed and was not relayed to us patrons. We were instructed to leave our blanket outside the venue and that we were “upgraded” to floor seats. After the 1st act was over we were looking for our seats only to find our seats were taken (the entire section had people in almost every seat). We went to guest services and they told us to demand our seats and get the people to get up. But the seats were so poorly marked its hard to demand anyone get up when you’re not sure where your seats are. We then asked a man in a red live nation shirt to help and he directed us to our section and told us to look for a guy in a black shirt to help. We found that guy and he walked us around awhile making sure we were in the right spot. He then said he’d be back with help. He returned half way through the 2nd act and told my husband he couldn’t help because he was “no good at this.” We ended up watching the show from the walkway with no where to sit or go to enjoy the show. We left early out of frustration because its hard to watch a show with people constantly walking in front of you. This ruined our night that we paid money to enjoy and will not be back. We got to several Live Nation concerts a year but will not give this venue our time or money again.

Live Nation Garden deck at freedom mortgage in Camden, New Jersey

Saturday August 13, 2022 for the Styx, REO Speedwagon and Loverboy concert. I love this venue and we normally sit in the VIP area but the ticket were $100 each for this show so we opted for the Garden Deck. We have never tried it before and it was beautiful and we would love to do it again. I sprung as a treat for my friends $120. I notice through the course of the night that everyone was being let on to the deck without wrist bands which I can only assume they did not pay. The 1 kid at the front didn't even look like he had a clue, there was older man that gave us our wrist bands but didn't enforce checking when people were coming up. Then there was this girl named "Stormy" who when I went and asked her about it because I saw her waving people in she replied with "Ah, they are cool." Well, I was pretty pissed and she knew it and my friends knew it as well. She acted like it wasn't a big deal but it was. Now, we are waiting in line for a PRIVATE bathroom and longer lines at the PRIVATE bar. Very disappointed because they do not treat the VIP that way they are very strict. Anyway, thank you for your time and I hope you will try and change policy for the deck because I would love to sit up there again as it is beautiful for a concert! Have a happy day :)

Desired outcome: Change policy for the Garden Deck. Enforce wrist bands. It is unfair to the people who paid to be there.

Live Nation Payment after the sell of my tickets to florence & the machine

I purchased tickets to the Florence and The Machine Concert for September 20, 2022. In July I had to list them on Live Nation website to SELL and they sold with in 72 hours. ( July 28, 2022). I verified my taxpayer ID number and I verified my bank account and it has been confirmed on the Live Nation website that $414.00 is due to me in my checking account. Back in July it said you are paid 7-10 business days after your checking account has been verified, which the allowable time has passed. NOW...it says ( under listings ) that I will get paid 7-10 days after the EVENT. Live Nation has already been paid by myself and the new buyer on July 28,2022 , Therefore they have money from two sets of people...myself ( the seller) and the new buyer whom will attend the concert on September 20,2022. Why are they holding my money until the event is over when I know longer own or have control over the tickets to the concert ?!?

I want my $414.00 deposited in my verified checking account that was stated after the posting of the sale initially. There chat boxes and messaging is not supportive of good customer service and they are changing the rules as Live Nation wants to. Diesel was the representative that is has now changed the story of how to receive your funds after selling your tickets. I will never buy tickets through Live Nation or Tickemaster ever again. I will find another venue to buy tickets.

Desired outcome: Deposit my $414.00 into my verified checking account as promised. The 7-10 days after verification of TAX ID # and checking account has been established and confirmed.

Live Nation Overcharged at venue

Aug 6, 2022 attended Kid Rock concert at Star Lake in Burgettsown, PA.

I purchased a small blanket that was supposed to be $10 and I was charged $20 on my credit card. I went back and the man at the desk said oh well. Then I purchased drinks that came to $56 and when I returned to my seat my credit card alerted me that I was charged $70. I did not add a tip since I gave a cash tip. The bartender added that after I approved the $56 transaction. That is theft!

Live Nation Alcohol sales not being the same price and no actual receipt or amount given from vendor.

Hello, I hope this reaches you well and in good spirits!

As large venues move towards cashless transaction I have noticed that some do a great job of providing the amount and others do not.

The last few times I have been at Live Nation concerts at PNC Pavilion in Charlotte on 4/30 I was charged a different amount for each transaction of the same 2 beverages at the same location/stand.

Same 2 drinks were charged 3 separate amounts on 3 separate occasions. Instead of ordering the same thing 3 separate times and getting one uniform amount say $30.35 I got the below amounts for the same 2 items. I ordered the exact same 2 items, Miller Lite and Bud Light Seltzer.

$29.77

$32.20

$36.66

What gives? I received no verification from the vendor and no amount showed up on the register. I had to ask all 3 times how much.

Next time I'll have to talk to someone who can give me an answer at the venue or check with other patrons and investigate a paper trail of transactions.

Sincerely,

Frustrated Patron who would like transparency via common sense or attorneys.

Desired outcome: I would like an answer as to why the same items have 3 separate amounts and a refund.

Live Nation Service

8 PM Sunday July 17th, 2022

Drove 2 and a half hours from my home to attend the Avett Brothers concert at White River Amphitheatre. Concert was canceled but I was not notified of the cancellation. On 7/14/22 Live Nation contacted me by email to alert me to the date, time and venue of the concert. They had my email but failed to notify me of the concert cancellation. Apparently the Avett Brothers canceled 4 shows on 7/15 and Live Nation failed to inform it's customers of the cancellation at White River. Other ticket holders to the Avett Brothers show at White River were also at the main entrance when I arrived. I spent approximately $150 for deisel fuel and food to see the concert. Due to its failure to notify me of the cancellation I believe Live Nation should reimburse me for my expenses.

Desired outcome: Reimburse me for my expenses.

Live Nation Inappropriate handling

On Thursday 7/14 at the conclusion of the Backstreet Boys concert in Camden, NJ a Live Nation employee provided specific directions to get to the parking lot I was headed to. Another employee rudely told me I was not allowed to go the way I was just told to no matter what the other employee said repeatedly . I ignored him and continued walking until he was in my face and gripped me by my left bicep and tried to forcefully pull me in the direction he wanted me to go. He asked for assistance and many of the posted employees told him to let me go. Nobody would release his name to make this formal complaint and the manager we spoke to stated “We don’t condone this behavior and we will address it.” but in the same breath said she is not sure of his name or whereabouts as he went out the opposite side. As a former CSC employee, niece of a Sergeant State Trooper this situation needs to be escalated to the highest measure. I am very familiar with the deescalation process in areas of conflict and physically laying your hands on someone is NOT it, especially in his job role. No management, security or police were called until I demanded a manager come speak to me before I left. I am very disappointed in the way this situation was “handled”. I sit here today, a 26 year old female with a sore bruised bicep caused by a 50+ year old man and the answer to it all is to “go over compliance rules again with the company as a whole” because NO ONE knows his name.

Desired outcome: Evidence of appropriate escalation, additional training and a name for any and all legal action.

Live Nation Tickets purchased online-wrong date

I purchased tickets online for Kid Rock in Tampa June 11. When I clicked on the purchase I realized I had purchased for the June 10th concert in West Palm Beach June 10th. I immediately contacted Live Nation and explained my situation. I informed them that I had incorrectly selected the West Palm Beach concert and that I only wanted to switch to the Tampa concert. I was rebuffed and told to put my tickets up for sale on their website.

I tried numerous times to inform them that I did not want my money back but that I wanted to purchase the tickets for Saturday, June 11th and not Friday June 10th in West Palm when i could not attend.

This occurred on April 24th...6 weeks before the concert and I was denied every opportunity for them to make it right. I even wrote to the CEO in their Beverly Hills Corporate office pleading in fact begging for some form of assistance. They never even replied.

Based upon their Fees, which are egregious in the first place I am seeking to have them banned along with Ticketmaster from purchasing all the tickets and then profiteering off of their lock on the tickets...

Desired outcome: I originally asked Live Nation to assist me by just switching the tickets to the next evening...all replies were impersonal and by email. I want my money back, full amount.

Live Nation Americans with disabilities act

My sister and I attended a Stevie Nicks concert on 6/16/22 in West Valley City, Utah. I have MS and severe arthritis and have a handicap placard. When we arrived, we were directed to general parking, even though I showed them my placard. They told us that handicapped parking was full. So, after a very long walk in 90 degree heat (which makes MS symptoms worse), in gravel, we arrived to an almost empty handicapped parking lot. We asked the first person we came to why we couldn't have parked there, and he said that the paved area was full with handicapped parkers and they don't want people with handicaps walking on gravel (which the parking lot is half full of). The second person said it was for the people that paid $50 to park there.

So, it's pretty obvious to me that Live Nation is more interested in making a profit then they are in following the Americans with Disabilities Act which is law. I saw people using walkers trudging through the gravel because of this new procedure. It was unacceptable to me and every other person there that needed to park closer.

Desired outcome: I would like a change in this procedure at Usana in West Valley City, Utah, where all people with disabilities can park close. I would also like an apology and a full refund for this concert.

Live Nation America Disability Act

June 16th 2022 at 7:45 PM

My sister and I attended a Stevie Nicks concert at Usana Amphitheatre in WVC, UT. My sister has MS as well as some other medical issues that has been very well documented and she has a handicap parking placard that her Dr. has ordered.

As we were pulling up to the area that we would normally go to for this venue, we were informed that the handicap parking area was full and would need to park above in general parking.

We went ahead and parked above and very slowly worked our way down to the entry. As we did this, we walked through the area that we have always parked in for handicap parking. As we arrived and walked through, we could very clearly see that there was plenty of handicap parking available. I asked two different employees separately and this is what I was told.

Employee #1: Me: Why is handicap parking being denied to persons with placards? Employee: Because there is only gravel parking left and they can't park there. I mentioned to him that we always park in the gravel area and he said he wasn't sure why then.

My frustration with this: we parked pretty far away IN a gravel parking lot and had to make our way down ON a gravel path that was steep for a person with disabilities.

Employee #2: Me: Why is handicap parking being denied to persons with placards? Employee: Because the rest of this parking is for people that have paid for VIP parking. I said so they get preference over people with handicap placards? He said YES!

So my thoughts here are that Live Nation and Usana are more interested in money coming in that people pay extra for for premium parking than they care about adhering to the American Disabilities act laws set in place for individuals that cannot get around well and need help.

I am only sending this email as it is a requirement for when filing a complaint to the Disability Act organization.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund of the concert, I would also like a full apology to my sister. Larger designated space for attendees with handicap placards so they are not turned away in the future

Live Nation Steve Winwood / Steeling Dan Concert

I bought tickets to see Steve Winwood who was playing with Steely Dan in 2020.

The concert was postponed two tears in a row. Steve Winwood just pulled out and Live Nation refuses to give me a refund.

I believe anyone should have the option of a refund on any rescheduled concert. What if you can't make the new date, etc?

I bought tickets for a performer that won't be there. They have two new guests I've never heard of.

If livenation thinks its still such a great show, take the tickets back and re-sell them.

Such a scam! To ignore responsibility and good business practices and put it back on you customers deserves follow up and accountability.

Which is exactly what I'll be pursuing next. I recommend everyone else here does the same.

Desired outcome: A refund!
