Live Nation debit card charged for "declined" purchases (avs/cybersource)

August 11/12, 2017

I attempted to make a purchase on the Queens of the Stone Age website. My purchase was approved by my bank, but declined by "Cyber Source" because it "failed the AVS check". There was no reason for this to happen, as my bank has my correct address, which is the same address input for this attempted purchase. I made a few more attempts at said purchase over the next couple days, receiving the same "declined" message each time.

Next thing I know, I have over $800.00 worth of "pending" purchases on my bank account for these "DECLINED" purchases! I have no access to MY MONEY, and there is NO WAY to contact these people by phone, and so far, they have not responded to my e-mails! I don't appreciate the time and effort I now have to exert to try and resolve something that never should have happened!

Ordered concert tickets for tso/el paso, texas on september 10, 2019 for a concert on december 4, 2019, through ticketmaster. I also added two concert t-shirts at $30 each and paid for all in september. went to the concert on the 4th and went to the merchandise table to get my t-[censored]s. I was told that they would be mailed, ok I stated - but I did not have the opportunity to chose the design I would like. so, disenchanted I walked away and watched the concert wondering when I would get my shirts and what style I would receive. the next day, december 5, I received in the mail from live nation a package. opening the package, there were two t-shirts for tso. these two shirts were the cheapest shirts I have ever seen. these shirts weren't even at the concert for sale. the shirts did not even have the 2019 winter tour schedule on the back side. I called customer support at ticket master and was informed that they do not handle the merchandise sales. I tracked down the information for live nation and here I am - disgruntled and with two cheap shirts and no way to rectify this issue. my advise, do not preorder merchandise, you will not have a chose of the items! junk shirt!

Live Nation august 12th 2017 raleigh nc

Was at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek – Raleigh, NC
August 12th 2017 to see Aaron Lewis, Hank Williams Jr and Lynyrd Skynyrd

Show was stated to start at 7pm.
Arrived in plenty of time, was relocated to a softball park and had to park and walk a really long ways to get there. When we arrive there is a line that's has several hundred people in it. Never have I seen such a disorganized mess with no one from venue even attempting to organize or manage anything..up near Gates there is a hugh wall of people which is even more chaotic. Trash everywhere. I was shocked because this place is well established and should easily know how many people to expect. 2 hours waiting in this line...with tickets that were $67 a piece...where was the security and organization of this event...i know as a non drink the drunks is something that comes with most concerts but this was beyond all this with lack of management. I have decided to not attend anymore events at this location. And I will probably skip any event that says Live nation. Anyone involved with that event Sat should be embarrassed in how it was handled. If this is what $67 gets ya then that's truly sad. When i did get through the gate had to hit bathroom first from waiting 2 hours, being hot and sweaty grabbed 2 bottles of water and to our seats...half the concert was over...saw hank jr for 10 mins, Aaron Lewis was already done and gone...i feel I should be compensated for not being able to see what I paid good money for.

Live Nation wrong items received

I made my order 7931009 on 22 June 2017. I received my order on 26th July but was unfortunately sent the wrong item. I emailed immediately and several times after but got no response. I also completed the online contact form numerous times which claims to give you a response within one business day but still never got a reply. The phone number provided by the company also does not work.

Live Nation security guard knocked phone to the ground during

My daughter attended the Sam Hunt concert last night (August 10, 2017) and the security guard was using the security wand on her; his arm went out and hit her stuff on the table (she had no bag, it was a pile with her flannel shirt and cell phone)with the wand and flung the phone to the ground. She didn't make a scene, but this mom is not going to let that go. Her screen is cracked and needs to be replaced.
Thank you.

I spoke with her this morning. I apologized for the accident and let her know we will take full responsibility for repairing her daughter's cracked phone screen. She appreciated the offer and will take care of it, ASAP, as her daughter is leaving for college at Northern ASU, next week.
Good Luck, Cassidy! GO LUMBERJACKS!

Live Nation tickets to seats behind the stage

My fiance and I purchased tickets to the Bruno Mars concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul for about $320 (including taxes and the $50 processing fee). We were so excited because we both have never been to a big concert like that before, and that although we cannot afford a honeymoon for a while after our wedding in less than a month, that at least we could see one of our favorite artists together. We were also excited because this was the first time we could even afford to give ourselves a great gift like this. I even picked going to this concert over getting new glasses this year...

After $20 to park and grabbing a drink we headed to our seats to discover they were so far to the side that we could literally only see a mere 50 feet or so of the much larger stage, and not even the full jumbo-tron screen, we realized we were totally ripped off. We sat there for maybe 30 minutes watching Camila Cabello's black leather pants/her chin on the portion of the jumbo-tron we could see, and the occasional glimpses of her hair and backup dancers we could catch. Mostly we watched the dancers sneaking backstage for drinks of water..

Cabello finished her set and they put down a curtain around the whole stage. We could overhear 2 women complaining to a security officer, who then told them that the jumbotron wouldn't even face our direction during the show but would face out towards the crowd. The woman and her son (who was maybe 10) who were sitting in the row in front of us said they had paid $270 a piece for their tickets! I felt awful for her and because her son - who was clearly extremely excited with his 24K Magic hat and matching shirt on - would not only be scammed from seeing the show but that this memory is also being ruined for them as well.

At that point we decided it wasn't worth it, and we were far too disappointed and angry so we tried to leave. When we had asked the Xcel staff if we could exit the gate they were shocked since Bruno had not even began his performance yet. They directed us to talk to Guest Services for a seat relocation. The gentleman there was very kind and his heart went out to us - possibly because I was in tears by that point but him and all the staff around us seemed to feel truly terrible that so many people had been scammed by Live Nation.

After waiting for his supervisor for 20 minutes, he found the nearest open seat in a nearby handicapped section, pulled up an extra chair, and told us this was what he could do for now until he found his supervisor. A few minutes later he approached with his supervisor, who asked to see our tickets. She explained that apparently on the tickets it says "obstructed view" and that we should have known by the seating chart it was behind the stage. When we had looked at the seating chart to buy tickets, it showed our section as being next to the stage, not so far behind that it would be not visible. The site we purchased them on never said "obstructed view". I mean, let's be real. Who goes to a concert to not see it? Especially to see Bruno Mars whose famous for his awesome choreography! She told us we could stay there until the people who's seats they were arrived. A few minutes later she arrived with 2 guests and told us to leave. I understood that the show was sold out so it would be difficult to relocate us at a sold out show, but she was unnecessarily rude about the situation. It almost felt like she thought we were trying to scam her for better seats when we simply believed the $320 spent should have worth more than a corner of a stage and that the whole situation was just not right...

We were home by 10:20 pm that night, with $360 down the drain that we seriously could have used so I could get the glasses I needed, or the ER bill that's on it's way. But no, it was spent being screwed over by a greedy promoter, or even worse a greedy artist. I'm not sure who is to blame, but now we know to never waste our money and time on a concert unless it's going to be hosted by a reputable company. The resolution we seek is a full-refund, or a replacement experience of a first concert (to an artist we both enjoy) with my fiance.

Live Nation seating and staff at hollywood casino amp tinley park

Live Nation completely screwed us over on our tickets to Paul McCartney at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre Chicago. We bought box seats that had a seat number on them, so as anyone would, we thought we had seats no matter what time we got there. Well that's not the case. As we where walking up the stairs we were told that the seats in the box are "first come first serve" okay that's understandable, but when we got to the box there were not enough seats for our entire group. We didn't even need or ask for all of our seats to be together, there were just not enough seats. We had a group of 5 and there were only 4 available. After speaking with some workers who got their supervisor the supervisor informed us that "bar stools are sold as seats" which is completely unacceptable. If that's how the box works why does my ticket have a seat number on it? Even if it is first come first serve on the seats there should be enough seats for everyone in the box not including bar stools. The girl who was "helping" us told us that "it is the second party ticket distributer that put the seat number on the ticket" when the ticket had Live Nation posted all over it. Then she leaves and says "I'll go get more barstools" she never apologized for the inconvenience, didn't even try to solve the problem. Later as we are still waiting for barstools to be delivered I see her walk by multiple times but never stopped to see if things where okay or to even let us know that barstools are being delivered. It gets to the point where I leave the box as the show is starting to find her, standing next to another manager watching the show with a better view than my entire group who paid for box tickets. When I confronted her and asked what happened and why she never came back to our box she stood there speechless and her coworker Dylan Johnson jumps in and doesn't help the situation at all. He does the same song and dance saying that it's the second party distribution company but ignoring that live nation is posted everywhere on the ticket INCLUDING LIVE NATION COPYRIGHT! I also complained that this girl never came back to our box to talk to us, she basically just bailed on us. He then wanted to argue that "she put in a request for more barstools but we are sold out so there aren't any more..." great. Why didn't she come tell us that? Why was there never an apology? Instead Dylan wanted to argue with me instead of handling the problem. I was furious and left the area. After cooling off for a second I went back out to get names. When I found them I asked for both of their names. Dylan was happy to give me his card like that was going to fix the problem. I asked the girl her name and card but she just gave me a name and couldn't even bother to stop walking or to look me in the eyes while doing it. I'm pretty sure she said her name was Sarah and I'm sure that Dylan knows exactly who she is. Everything about this experience through Live Nation Chicago and Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, Tinley Park was terrible and we do not plan on returning ever. At no point during the sale of the ticket, while going through the VIP line, or even sitting in the extremely over priced VIP lounge where we told that seats are first come first served. If we had known that there probably wouldn't be a issue but instead the ticket is made to look like everyone in my group was guaranteed a seat and that was not the case. It was not the second party ticket distribution company. Everything on the ticket said Live Nation. Not only was the ticket a complete scam to sell more tickets, but the people working for live nation where completely rude, did not communicate, and where more interested in watching the show (while getting paid to work while ticket holders can't see the stage) it is completely unacceptable and I'm looking for a response back as soon as possible.

Live Nation seating at john mayer concert

I purchased 4 tickets to the John Mayer concert on July 18 at the Isleta Amphitheatre -- order #35-38522 MTN -- section 7, seats 3-6. I paid $98.15 per ticket - total of $392.26. I was never notified that the seats had an obstructed view and that I would not have a clear view of the stage (photos attached). In fact, we could barely see the featured performer at all. I believe that there should be some type of compensation - why wouldn't Live Nation acknowledge that these seats do not provide a clear view of the stage? This is outrageous!

Live Nation 2017 ac beachfest concert p!nk - unorganized, unsafe, & complete disaster!

The 2017 AC Beachfest Concert Series - P!NK on Wed, July 12th 2017 was a complete waste of time and money. It was frustrating and an outrage that we even paid to experience it. It also was completely unorganized as we stood in the ocean and told this was where the "silver" ticketed section was suppose to be. As we were all crammed on the beach without views of the stage, no access to anything including bathrooms and/or food/drink tents. We had no access to anything, and repeatly asked for help from staff. The event employees could not even direct anyone because there was no organization at all. That being said, it was completely unsafe. Anyone was able to walk up without a ticket mixed with many people that spent hundreds of dollars for silver and gold tickets. Security was present; however, there was absolutely no kind of areas/paths that it anything was to happend such as a medical emergency or public threat. Thankfully we lucked out. Absolutely, the WORST concert I have experienced.

Live Nation beverage service at the phish show 7-16

I went to purchase my first drink as well (as two others for the guys who got me a ticket as a way of saying thank you)at the Phish show when I got in probably around 5:30 pm at the Tito's tent slightly stage left and at the very back of the lawn. They told me I could only have two I said that was fine and I would come back the blonde girl "helping" me told me 53 dollars and change. Which I was a little taken back by. And asked me to tip well it was going to Thier kids playground . I said I would do my part. I left a 15 percent tip which she looked at and made kind of a nasty face to me. I also asked if that was for two drinks or three she said three. I responded and said I was told I could only have two. They then as a group told me to just go drop the other ones off and come back which I happily did. I came back to them the large bald man had my drink waiting for me. Only it wasn't what I wanted ( a Tito's and soda) it was a tall glass of a few ice chips and soda water. I was thirsty and wasn't sure if I was insane for tasting literally no alcohol in a " double" so sipped on it and finally asked a friend who no longer drinks if he thought there was any vodka in it. He agreed there was not. I went back to complain after some encouragement from friends. Normally I don't do this type of thing. I work in the service industry. When I went back they saw me coming and I saw them talking g with each other in the way people do when they cheat someone in service industry. I talked to them and they basically admitted to not doing it but shamed me for drinking half of it before returning. Which again I get. But I drank half of 20 cents of soda water because I was thirsty and wanted my friend to check and make sure I wasn't just being crazy, and got charged essentially $20 after tip for. Sorry for the complaint I'm just still a little steamed the money was hard for me to spend at the time anyways but wanted to cheers the guys who bought me a ticket. I just feel like I had $20 taken from my pocket.

Live Nation pink concert in atlantic city

Close to $300 we spent on our Pink tickets for Wednesdays show in Atlantic City We splurged on gold because it was a special birthday treat. I anticipated it being a bit crowded but what i didn't expect was the complete and utter disaster that I witnessed . While entering the "gold section" I immediately realized the horrendous situation. NO ONE could get anywhere near the stage let alone anywhere hear it. The map they provided when selling the tickets stated there would be a bar area where we were>there wasnt.. Then I witnessed people slipping thru the "fenced area" separating gold and silver sections . Then they ran out of silverbands and began handed out gold bands to those people. Then the tide started coming up they began just letting people into gold. When i brought this to security (wearing the yellow shirts) they said they had no control to take it up with the Live Nation people walking around who were NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! When I finally found someone who had authority he responded with Silver is the Same as Gold..UHHHHHH NO ITS NOT.. i paid more.. His Name was Carl..who knows if that is his actual name. He was completely rude and totally unprofessional. Live nation you need to make this better..Security was unable to handle the mess and were even saying that it was ridicuous!

Live Nation horrible experience at pink ac beachfest summer concert

Who I need to speak to about the horrendous conditions at the Pink concert Wednesday night ? I'll copy in a few of the horrible but consistent reviews concerning the crowd (over sold) the limit number of food and drink tents to accommodate 40, 000 people, the lack of screens available, etc ?

Worst concert experience of my life, and I've been to many.

Live Nation san diego future concert mattress firm amphitheatre

I bought my husband box seat tickets for this concert. Upon getting to the box we received our box seat wristband and every thing was fine. As the concert started people started flooding down the walkways blocking our view. We were in section 203 box 8. I kindly got the lady who sat us to help clear the view as nobody should have been in that area. She did her best trying to clear people, however people then started coming into our box, standing right in front of my brother in law and girlfriend. They refused to move! I asked them to move they said no! I called the lady back over asking for security as people continued flood into the walkway and our box. It ruined our experience and im extreamly dissapointed that we paid for a great experience we never received. Im extreamly dissapointed in live nation. Ive never had an experience like this. Honestly I feel like I will never pay them a penny for another concert. Its sad because the artist suffer. Unfortunatly we didnt enjoy the concert but the people who didnt pay for the seats did. Live nation needs to do something about this! Especially because they add a 20 dollar fee for venue upkeep 😡

Live Nation burgettstown, pennsylvania

Went to Dierks Bentley Cole Swindell Jon Pardi concert 6/24/17. Missed entire Jon Pardi set due to extremely slow ticket checking process. The scanning of the body was entirely too slow. This process delayed our entry by 45 minutes. The traffic situation was also dreadful. The workers are not trained in directing traffic. Took over an hour to go 7 miles. When a venue is hosting over 20, 000 people that is just unacceptable.

Live Nation u2 louisville

We spent $680 on our tickets to U2 last Friday night. Our first row seats gave us a beautiful view of two cameramen. Our seats were not labeled obstructed view, like the people next to us. We could not see the opening band or U2 when they were on the main stage...only when they were out front for the opening songs. This is disappointing. We came down from Indianapolis for a great concert (which musically it was) but did not bank on our nearly $700 tickets being behind the cameras, etc.We ere in Section 111, Row A, seats 6 & 7. I have our tickets and took a few photos if you need to see them, as I couldn't believe we could not see the band we went to SEE and hear. I would appreciate tickets in Indy where I can see U2, which is why we went to Louisville. Had I paid half the amount we did, it may have been worth it, but it was quite frustrating.

Live Nation live nation staff

I purchased tickets to attend the dead and company concert for this past Saturday June 17th at Fenway Park. I was harassed by one of your staff because I was dancing my way to my seat. This employee of Live nation screamed in my face so close to my personal space that we was actually spitting on me. He was yelling keep it moving. I immediately responded (totally non-aggressively) that I was heading to my seat. When he didn't get a rise out of me he continued to berate me screaming in my face that "I'm tired of you people". Tt this point my husband spoke up to defend this outrageous verbal assault. He told the man to stop screaming at me. As soon as my husband had the words out of his mouth, the hotheaded live nation employee and a coworker of his grabbed my husband by both arms and ejected him from the ballpark. It was ridiculous, it seemed to me that the Live nation employee just kept harassing is until he had, what was in his mind, a reason to flex his authority. We were 15 minutes into the show and got harassed and kicked out for dancing. When my husband and I told the Boston police Sargent that we were going to report the lie nation employee, the sarge went to refer the badge number. We were told that it was badge #199. In case that I do wasn't accurate, I took his picture to make sure the correct person is held accountable for his actions. Who can I speak to about filing a formal complaint and recouping the cost of my tickets. Please email me [protected]@nepc.com or give me a call back at [protected]. Sincerely, Rhiannon Forbes

Live Nation security and sound board personnel

I was attending a concert at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC on 6/17/17. Silver Sun Pickups had just started and the sound was really bad. I noticed other people turning around to the sound tent and looking at them like something is wrong. I listened to a few songs and had to go to the restroom.
I walked by the front of the tent and pointed at my ear like "something is wrong with the sound." The guy at the sound board didn't see me but a guy staring down at his phone looked up and said something to the sound guy and then turned around and said something to the security person behind him. I continued to walk by and went to the bathroom. About 15-20 minutes later I am being asked to leave the venue by about 5-6 security guards.
Apparently the sound guy said I knocked over a water bottle which was not possible for the distance that I was from the tent. Also, why would a water bottle be on the sound board ?
I felt that this "Sound Guy" didn't like the fact that somebody was complaining about the sound. The sound was so bad you couldn't even hear the lead singer and the girl on the bass signing.
It is really a shame that my wife and I were escorted out of Red Hat...embarrassing to say the least.
Doug Brugger, Security Director, could not give me any details as to why I was being thrown out of the venue, except for the fact that a "Band Member" wanted me thrown out for spilling a water bottle ont he sound board ?
All of the security surrounding this tent, not one of them saw me, or saw me knock over a water bottle.
They took this whole situation to a much higher level and took the word of some guy staring down at his phone.
We actually had another Live Nation security girl come up to us and apologize to us for the misunderstanding.
I would like an apology from Live Nation and I would like a refund for my tickets...Nick and Jodi Rucker

Live Nation no reply to multiple attempts of email, form submission following up an incomplete delivery of an order

I have only received a partial order for my order number 7607793. I have emailed several times, called the office, and also submitted the online contact form yet still have not got a response. I am still yet to receive over $200 with of merchandise. The most response I received was an automated message that a consultant would be in touch within 24 hours yet it has been over a week ago.
I received two packages. The first one had 2 box sets inside whilst I had ordered 4. The invoice inside the package clearly stated 4 items.
The second package had 3 shirts instead of 4. The invoice in that package stated 3 shirts. However I ordered 4 and when I enter my order number on the website it clearly shows 4 shirts. Also i have been charged for 4 box sets and 4 shirts.
Any attempts to contact live nation merchandise has been unsuccessful.
All in all, I am missing 2 box sets and 1 tshirt. They are meant to be gifts and I would like them delivered as soon as possible.
