Refrigerator and dishwasher delivery
Refrigerator and dishwasher delivered today without the paid for water lines and installation kit.
Refrigerator is also missing a shelf.
Stores cannot assist. Routes to delivery company. Dishwasher is unusable without the install kit. Refrigerator can not be fully set up and is missing parts
We now have a case filed with a 24 hour window for a "call back" which could lead to a service call at a later date.
Are stores no responsible for what they sell?

Response came in early - just a few minutes after the case was created. That was nice.
But, solution was either wait for another delivery or get credit for items and repurchase them ourselves.
We opted to repurchase.
I do understand that those truly are the only options, but it is still costing us time and inconvenience.
We were told when the case was filed, we could ask for a dispensation (monetary credit or discount code) once everything was resolved. They can only do this once so to be sure it's resolved.
Why isn't this automatic? Why do I have to know to ask for a dispensation?

We are building a custom home, - in northern Florida - it was held up during Covid. We were able to purchase - in 2020 during Covid - windows and doors of over $30,000 from the Lowe's in Alachua, Florida. We sat down with their window and door desk, and he worked hand-in-hand with our architect to come up with the order for the doors and windows. In the spring of 2022, it was discovered that there were 11 extra windows ordered. I gave the receipts in the course of over three meetings (many hours in person at the store) at the Lowe's store in Alachua. Last month, I actually bought five additional windows (of the 11 extra) at that time because they were the wrong size - from the Lowe's store in Alachua. They were delivered today. At all times in my discussions, it was understood and agreed to by the Lowe's employees I worked with at the store over the course of several meetings, that when these new windows will be delivered Lowe's will pick up the originals which are still at the location in the garage and while no refund was requested, they would be used as a store credit towards future items in the house that we need right now such as kitchen and bath cabinetry... I was very disturbed today when I received a phone call from the Lowe's store after they delivered the five items telling me that these items will not be accepted upon return. I ordered them based on the confidence and trust that Lowes installed in me and I trusted the order that was correctly drawn up by the sales person in windows and doors. Please help me.

Double hold on my account
Lowes placed a double hold on our account for our purchase. This is not acceptable. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with no resolution or any explanation that makes any sense. The order number is [protected]. When I called, I was told that it is your policy to make a double hold but this ties up my personal funds! Sure, I owe you, 1074.99. When that one hold is placed, that's all you should place. But, no, you have additional holds of 966.43 and 108.56 as well. You have tied up a significant amount of money that I need to pay my bills. Money that was never owed to Lowes. You place a hold once, and that's it. That is criminal. I will be reporting everywhere! I get the charge will come off later, but that does nothing to do with the available balance that reduced by your criminal policies. This is temporary theft!
Then, I was told it charges twice because it comes from 2 different locations. Nope, the charge is the same location on the same day and I don't have the items.
Desired outcome: ONLY HOLD ONCE!!!! Lowes has created a financial hardship for me because you put a double hold on a 1074.99 purchase and reduced my available funds by the same. 1074.99 more than you were authorized.
Same thing happened to me. I placed online deliver order for 3600, the placed 2 holds for 3600 totaling 7200 and stated that there was nothing they could do but it would drop off in 4-7 days. in the mean time i could not use the money because they had it tied up. Did you ever get resolution, if so, who were you able to contact. this happened again this week, the released the 2 holds and placed another one on my account 2 days after I picked the items up! I can no get any help at store level, but overall they have "borrowed" nearly $20000 this month
We had the same issue. They double charged our account by $8000 for 2 sets of french doors. My credit rating took a 200 pt hit because of this.
The orders were "lost" in the computer system 2x. By the time they got it straightened out the prince had increased and we had to argue for the original price.
Installers have been back 2 times, and 1 set of doors still does not latch correctly.
Delivery of new refrigerator
This week I purchased a brand new $2,999.00 refrigerator, with Lowes delivery, furnishing a new water line hook-up kit, actually hooking up to my existing water line, and removal of my old refrigerator. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper. Here is my response to Lowes post-delivery survey:
"Your two delivery guys were absolute [censored]s. They called and said they were 20 minutes away so I left work to be there for them. They did not show up for approx. 1 hour.
Since the old refrigerator was actually still running I had left items in it to quickly move over to the new unit (locate immediately next to the new unit) when suddenly they had too much of a schedule to keep to allow me the 10 minutes to move things over - after they had showed up an hour late and cost me time from my job. Not cool.
Further, as a result, they blew out of here without taking the old refrigerator (which I paid for)
Not did they provide the water hook-up kit (that I paid for) or obviously offer to install it.
Bottom line is don't ever let this crew near my house or the house of any customer you respect.
Now you owe me the following:
1. a credit for not taking my refrigerator
2. a credit for me having someone else come and take it, and whatever disposal fee is charged
3. a credit for the water line hook-up kit which they kept/stole from me
4. an hour of my life back and the cost of me taking time off my job for you
Please advise how you plan to proceed with items 1-4. I am one extremely disappointed client."

Storm door installation
We purchased a storm door from Lowe's in Rolla, MO on 3/31/2023 for a rental property. We DO NOT live in Rolla and while we remodel the home we are there only periodically. Summit Installations was assigned to install our door and the measurement went well enough - then everything went downhill. Summit assigned the first two installations on days we were not at the property and you absolutely cannot get a live person on the phone at Summit. After too many to count calls to Summit and to the Lowe's in Rolla, we finally got the installation scheduled on a day we would be at the property, only to receive a text from Summit the day of that the installer had a family emergency and they scheduled our installation to a week later. Of course, we would not be at the property that day. On that day we received a call from the installer stating he was "15 minutes out". We had to inform he we were not there. He stated he would inform Summit and they would "be in touch". Of course they we never heard from Summit and we still do not have this scheduled correctly. We will be in Rolla in 3 days and seeking a refund for everything from Lowe's.
Desired outcome: Installation on 5/19/2023 or a complete refund.
My credit card was decreased from $4,000 to $100 causing my credit score to go down 9 points
I have multiple accounts with you I paid every one of them off early never was late on one account I have a perfect perfect never late credit with all companies that I've been approved through I should have a perfect credit score but it was wrong for y'all to decrease me from 4,000 to $100 when I've never been late on a payment ever always early on my payments
Desired outcome: I want my Lowe's credit card put back to $4,000 and I want a form sent to equinox credit bureau removing the 9 points that I was deducted you shouldn't be deducted for perfect credit on Time payments every month
And if this doesn't get resolved I will never do any business with synchrony Bank ever again I will cut all my credit cards up my accounts are almost 99% paid off right now I have one more payment of $19 with low that's all I ever had with Lowe's it doesn't make sense that y'all approve me at Sam's for $1500 and pretty much kill my Lowe's credit card and subtract 9 points from my credit score and other ones too that I went through y'all and y'all disapprove me 80 90% yellow approve me because I have perfect credit I just can't get over that the better you pay your bills and never miss a payment never late on a payment and this is what you get from synchrony Bank

Tried to call tacoma lowes to ask an inventory question. Every transfer was hung up on.. The lady who answers would not take my call when I called back. Asked for manager sent me to dead end phone line. Simple inventory question and it seems no one not even a manager is available everyone must be at lunch.. Endless phone transfers with not one person every answering. I asked for the manager sent me to another dead end phone line that rang and rang I waited and waited the they just hung up.. Over and over. Nightmare just to check inventory.. Forget you guys if you don't like us we don't like you... And you want me to pay 15 dollars to just complain good bye lowes.. Your gone baby

I called to find out if I needed an additional part as some independent contractors advised.
I begin my calls at 9;09PM EST and was suppose to be transferred to someone who could answer the question that I had every thing I needed to install mu unopened Chamberlain 0.5-HP Smart Belt Drive Garage Door Opener Works with My Wi-fi Compatibility Item# 5251551, Model #B2401 in the box. I was told to call chamberlain directly which I don't think is accurate. I called back at 9;18 and was given the same run around. At 9:56PM the representative advised the was 3 minutes left until 10PM which she was resistant in transfer. I asked it a manager could call me back in the morning after taking my name and number she abruptly hung up prior to saying anything else. finally at 10:01PM I got manager Brayer (sorry if the name is misspelled. The previous representative I feely was abrupt and Curt. This is not the customer service I was looking for. My question was answered in 3-5 mins by the manager. The manager advised he would look into the call and see who the rep was but I believe he knows who she is. This has had me seriously rethinking installing with a company who cares so less about the customers. Overall this was a terrible experience. I don't think when asked for corporate information one should be referred to google it themselves.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and to retain my business some sort of compensation on the installation I think this is standard practice. I would also like the representative to be reprimanded in anyway you see fit.

two things : (1) One: I do not like to talk to people on the phone: as they never tell the truth, and there is no email to get intouch with the store.
(2) Two: I made an order on the ninth (9th) and nothing told me anything was not in stock (the things I was going to order that where not in stock I changed).
I have spent an additional $600.00 keeping the work crew buisie since the 10th when I was to get my order. when the crew went to the store to pick up the order they spent over an hours for the people to even find out there even was an order.
I hope this is some kind of nonrecurring problem

A new appliance that is damaged
I purchased a new refrigerator from Lowes that was delivered on 5/11. It does not cool. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get a replacement to no avail. I need someone to come pick it up ASAP. I purchased another one today from Home Depot.
The order number is [protected] and item number is 4882705. I called Lowes card services today and refused to pay for this item. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get this matter resolved and no one can give me an answer.
Again, please schedule someone to pick this up or I will have no choice but to move it outside in the weather.

Third party delivery
Third party delivery fiasco. On February 19th I placed an order for an LG French Door refrigerator (Trans#: [protected]) The sales lady checked the warehouse and told me they had two in stock and that I might not get the refrigerator. A week went by and then two and no refrigerator and no call or email from Lowes. The charge was still on my card so I assumed it was on back order. On April 5th I was in the store and checked on the order. Same sales lady looked it up and said I would get delivery on April 26th and I would get a call the day before. Well a few days before the delivery date I get an email saying the new date would be May 10th and I would get a call. I received an automated call on the evening of the 9 telling a delivery was scheduled for the 10 between 8am and noon, if I needed to reschedule to call the local Lowes. I did call because I had a doctors appointment on the 10. The phone rang at the Claypool Hill Lowes for 17 minutes before I got to speak to anyone. The lady apologized saying she was the only one there. I told her my situation and said I could accept delivery before 9am or after 2 pm. She said she would make a note to the delivery manager. On the morning of the 10th I waited till 9am and was back home before 2pm. Waited till around 3:45 and called the Lowes store to see if the delivery was still on. Was given an number for a third party delivery service. Called that number only to get a voice mail, called back and got a person. They said they would check to see what was going on and get back to me within the hour. One hour later they called and assured me the delivery would take place before end of day.
Let the fiasco begin. Around 5pm my wife happens to see a truck parked across the street unloading something. I went out and saw they had a range on there appliance cart and was fixing to cross the street. I called out and told them that it was not mine, I was to get a refrigerator. As I walked towards the truck they were looking at some papers. I got to the back of the truck and all I could see was a used refrigerator setting near the back of the truck. I did not see my refrigerator and the truck bed was not tall enough to carry it in my opinion. (I worked for 15 years for a furniture and appliance store in sales and often helped with deliveries, I know how to deliver and set up appliances). I told the driver I did not see my refrigerator on the truck, he said it was there. I told him he could get off the street and park behind the house and it would be much easier. He asked to see where the refrigerator was going and I took him in the back door to the kitchen and showed him where it was to go. I told him that I though he might have to take the doors off to get it the house. He said he was not sure about that and went out the door and was walking towards the truck. I said again (based on the height of the truck box) that I did not think the refrigerator was in there. I began walking towards the truck when he said I did not have to come to the truck, that I should believe him. I said I can walk and I just what to see with my own eyes. I got to the back of the truck and did not see anything, so I stepped up in the truck and there laying on its side was my refrigerator, yes laying on its side. He told me that I had to get off the truck due to liability, I said fine and proceeded to step out when he called out again to get out. I told him that the refrigerator should not be on its side and he just said it was not a problem that it just needed to set up right for 30 minutes. I know that is not right. I walked by to my house and he followed me up to the door. He said that it was late in the evening and that if he had to take the doors off they did not have time and said “this is your castle, your domain, is there somewhere I can set the refrigerator, we don’t have time to get it in side?” I told him it was going in the house even if he had to come back. He said he would have to call Lowes to see if the delivery could be rescheduled. I said that was fine. He walked back to his truck and drove off. Needless to say, I was upset and my wife was really upset. I waited about an hour to cool off and called the Lowes store and spoke with a manager. I explained what had happened and really did not like the idea of the refrigerator being on its side. If the third party delivery company does not have the proper equipment to make such a delivery, why is Lowes using them? The manager said this was the second complaint he had received that day on this delivery team. He assured me that he would get things straightened out and would get back to me the next day. He also assured me that it would be a different delivery team. Well, the next day came and went, the manager did not call. I did receive around 5:30 pm another automated call about the delivery and that it would be May 12 between 8am and noon. OK, that should work. Well around 9am on the May 12, 2023 there was a knock on the front door, it was the same two guys that was there on the 10th. They had the truck parked in the street behind our house and had the refrigerator on the ground in the box (and of course it had be on its side again). They had an appliance dolly but just wrestled the box back and forth on the road, then down steps to my deck and then down some more steps to my back porch. There were two 100 pound propane tanks setting out side the porch door and they told me that they were blocking the way. I told them I did not think so but they could be moved. I was told they could not touch them and they did not now what Lowes had told me but they had to have an unobstructed path. I told them Lowes only told me that it would be delivered and set up and just step back and what me move the propane tanks. I suspect they wanted to leave the refrigerator setting where it was. Tanks moved, they unboxed the refrigerator and wiggly it up on a four wheel dolly. They proceed onto the porch to the back kitchen door. I had put a large piece of cardboard and thin moving blankets on the kitchen floor. The lead guy comes in and kicks them out of the way. He orders the other guy inside to lift the refrigerator over the thresh hold and starts pushing the refrigerator through the doorway. They guy inside was doing everything in his power to keep from scratching against the door frame. They get in the kitchen and roll it across the floor putting two indentions all the way across our newly finished floor and twist the refrigerator off the dolly and push it toward the place it was to go, making more indentions in our floor. I had a water line connected to a wall cut off and the lead guy asked if it was Lowes approved, I told him it was from Lowes and he connected it to the refrigerator. He put the handles on the front and took the tape off the upper doors. After that he wiggled it kind of in place and told me not to start it for 30 minutes. I told him that I had contacted LG about the refrigerator being on its side and they said not to use for 24 hours. He said he was told 30 minutes and I said again, for your information it is 24 hours. I asked him if he was going to level it and he goes over and shakes it a few times and says it is alright, has me to sign a page that he says just verifies that it was delivered. I asked him about the unchecked boxes about where I was to sign and he said I could check them if I wanted to. I said, no, it looks like something you should do. He took the paper, handed me a receipt and when out the door.
I was left stripping all the tape and plastic out of the inside, installing the water filter, removing the plastic sheeting off the outside of the doors, leveling and picking up some of the trash in the yard they left.
To say that we are not happy about this experience is an understatement. Clearing this third party deliver crew did not have the equipment or experience in delivering such an appliance. The arrogant attitude of the lead guy made a difficult situation even more difficult. His associate was quite and did make some complimentary small talk. The damage to my floor was totally uncalled for. This was a horrible experience. From what we can gather such experiences with Lowes third party delivery is not uncommon. My wife posted on a social media page what had happen during the first attempt to deliver and within hours 42 individuals had made comments of similar problems. Lowes is loosing customer because of this behavior. We need some more high in appliances for the house we are doing over, but they will not come from Lowes.
I am going to what on a response from someone of authority so I can decide if I need to give my attorney a call.

Since moving to abilene texas 23 years ago we have alway purchased our appliances from lowes. This past weekend we went to purchse a dish washer. We waited 1 i/2 hrs and no one waited on us. Twices I went to the front and ask that someone help us. They responed that yes they would. I also told them there were 4 customers back there needing help. That was after an hour. One person showed up. We waited another 30 minutes and left. Guess what we went to home depot and with in 20 minutes left with a purchased dishwasher. Now dont get me wrong. We brought our Infinity® Interior Paint & Primer (1-Gallon) at $61.98 per gallon because of the ONE COAT guarantee. We painted over an existing light brown surface with a light blue. The first coat showed a diffident discoloration, so we needed a second coat.
We have two more rooms to go and will not have enough paint to cover since we need to use two coats.
