Maytag Washer MVW6200KW2
Purchased this washer February 20,2022 revived on February 24,2022. The beginning of August washer stopped going through the wash cycle or the spin and drain cycle. Had to change cycles to get the water out of the clothes. Called for service on August 10,2022. Had to wait until August 22,2022 for a qualified technician to come look at the machine. Service guy was very nice came out looked at it and tried running a cycle. Machine was not filling with water and went right to done. He found that the controller was bad and needed to be replaced. The controller is not available for 4 to 6 months. Contacted Maytag and they are expediting the part which will take 21 days before they will give us an update and discuss alternatives. At this point I just want my money back and them to take the washer. It’s a brand new washer and I am left going to the laundromat. By the time this is resolved I will have been able to purchase another washer with the money I am spending at the laundromat. Also by the time it is repaired the warranty will no longer cover it. Please just come take it away and give me my money back. I seriously do not think I will ever buy another Maytag with the way this is being handled.
Desired outcome: Refund my money and take this washer back.

This is the worst washing machine if you could even call it a washer. It dies not save water or energy false claims it's takes longer on each cycle which there for dies not save energy, have to wash sometimes 2 or 3 times extra rinses even then poor outcome. It has caused skin irritations allergies and due to all the viruses and all going on not disinfecting or cleaning items, soap still in bedding and clothing only part of the item has water or been wet the items are stagnant in one place by far this is a product that advertised false claims and a health hazard I have read a lot about this so far not any review that was not horrible. I will be contacting consumer product claims legal course and others who have complaints, maytag has always been a great company with quality products I hope we can resolve this. Thank you

My Maytag refrigerator compressor went out the day it was delivered in Nov. 2021. Lowes was awesome and replaced it within a week. It worked for 6 months and then the compressor went out again. In MAY 2022 I filed a repair ticket with Maytag per their 1 year warranty. They approved the repair and sent out a technician to confirm the defect by June 9. Then 3 wks passed and no update. The compressor was on back-order with NO idea of when it would be available. Called Maytag and escalated at the beginning of July 2022. I had to follow their escalation process (3-4 wks). Allegedly they found the part - nope they sent a dishwasher part at the beginning of August 2022 to the repair company. I had to escalate for a 2nd time and had to wait 10 business days to see if they could find the right parts. They could not so Maytag then transferred the service ticket to the product replacement team for an approval of a new fridge. I had to wait another 3 full business days and finally was approved last week! Then on August 23rd they allegedly found the part and retracted my approval for a replacement. On 8/29 the tech came out to swap the compressor - it was defective! Now, I am fighting them AGAIN for a replacment - ROUND 5 OF ESCALATIONS! I schedule 3 MONTHS AFTER MY FRIDGE DIED WITHOUT $1000 of FOOD I HAD TO THROW AWAY. A family of 5 has been living out of a mini frigde and 5 coolers! STILL NO RESOLVE! #MAYTAG SUCKS

My Maytag washer purchase in 2018 has a computer issue. I began going through the Magtag questionnaire giving a complete description of the problem. Maytag set up an appointment for Mon. 8-12. Cone was a no-show. Maytag isn't willing to take responsibility for selling a product that was not built to last. Maytag enjoys a reputation that Maytag is not worthy of having at this time. I expect the proper response if a company wants to maintain its reputation.
My Maytag washer isn't working properly. Maytag has not responded in a way that solves this problem. I am a single retired teacher and the only one using this machine. With a name like Maytag this is unacceptable.

Brought the washer from Lowes on March 6, 2022. after about 3 months the washer flooded the laundry room and stop working. A tech finally came out after 2 weeks and replaced a part. the washer started working again. it has only been a couple months and the same thing happened again. I'm now waiting on tech to come back out and look at it. they said it would be three weeks before they will be at the house to look at it. this is unacceptable and I will never purchase a Maytag again. I have an infant in my home and I can't go three weeks without a washer. I really would like it replaced. I mean it is less than 6 months old.

I have used Maytag products for decades and been pleased with the overall quality and durability. However, the problem and associated cost of my recently purchased washing machine has prompted me to seek a new manufacturer. I purchased the appliance for my newly constructed home in 2017 due to its upscale features and appearance. Fast forward to August 23, 2022 when the automatic lid lock malfunctioned, and the machine simply went dead. We followed all the troubleshooting suggestions and finally paid a technician who stated that the control board was "fried" and beyond repair. He stated that a replacement of the board would exceed the cost of a new machine. The technician stated that he has seen similar problems with Maytag.
The 10 year warranty does not cover the control board, only the parts that Maytag has found to be more durable. It is obvious that the control board is not included in the warranty because Maytag does not have confidence in the reliability. Instead, the customer is left with an expensive product that will need to be purchased every few years.
This is even more disappointing because of the "Made in America" seal, proudly stamped on the machine front. Is this the embodiment of American craftsmanship and work ethic?
I grew up with a Maytag washing machine and recall that it lasted over 20 years. My parents would brag on its longevity and durability. It is sad that I cannot do the same with my own children and grandchildren.
Desired outcome: Replace the machine.Address the durability of the control board.Include the control board in the 10 year warranty.

Overnight the Quick Wash cycle time changed from 15 min to 43 min. One day it was 15, the next time we used machine it was 43 min.
Trying to find how to re-set machine to factory default settings, that is 15 min for Quick Wash.

Dryer door started sagging and scraping on bottom. One attempt to readjust door was a littel successful but now sagging worse. We have two sets of Maytag Wahers and Dryers in the house, the older series Neptune Dryer has never had any problem after years of use. This Maxima Model is totally frustrating and with the limited use causing this Dryer Door problem. How is this to be rectified?

i purchased a magtag washing machineMVWC465HW3 serial CX50 02594 on 02/12/21 from Michaels Sales and Service 36 west market street lewistown pa 17044. I have purchased every appliance in my house (every) from Michael's with no major problems. I purchased this machine and service came out because I called. They checked and said it was off balance. (no banging noises and he never looked under the machine. Tech said he would be back with the parts I needed. He was here yesterday for one hour and said it was fixed. Now it won't work at all. It will not fill, light comes on and says it is sensing water but none comes in. Light comes on and says lid is locked. 30 seconds later the light comes on and says DONE. I am horrified by the lack of knowledge of their service department. To make matters worse, when I called today to report this the man (at Michael's) asked why I bought a Magtag. I said their sales people suggested it. HE SAID I SHOULD HAVE PURCHASED A SPEED QUEEN. I will never purchase another appliance from this store. Desired outcome: I would like this Maytag removed at no charge. I paid nearly $800 for the machine and used it for about 17 months. I guess I will now try to go to one of the box stores to purchase a new machine.

My washer is 3 years old, replaced the lock, $90. Worked once then stopped working. I have reached out to customer service by phone and email and no one is calling back. I purchased a new washer January 26, 2022 and it stopped working June 6, 2022, it does not perform the spin cycle. It took a month for a tech to come out and now the part is on backorder and no delivery date. I would rather they just give me a new washer if i have to wait months for a repair. It is actually cost me more money to do my laundry out in town that it is to purchase a new washer.

Issue: Will not fill up enough to get the clothes wet. Causing the agitator to make a skipping sound on a gear sound. Also balls clothes up into tight balls and rips the fabric and seams.
Steps taken to resolve the issue:
I called Maytag on June 24, 2022, I received a call back from them on June 25, 2022. I explained the issue that I was having, I gave them my purchase date and store location. I told them that I did not have my paper receipt but I had talked to Lowe's and could get a print out of the sale. I also had the bank statement of proof of purchase because I has just bought the matching washer and dryer. I also told them that I had mailed in my warranty cards for both washer and dryer. I was informed that because I did not have the receipt that they had to go by the delivery date. Which was June 9, 2021.
I contacted a repair Company: Universal Services, 407 Canyon Creek Dr.. #105 Temple, TX 76502.[protected].
They came out and ordered a new sensing plate for the water fill. With service calls and cost of parts I am getting close to $250.00
Today they came out again for of course the same problem and while we both agree the new part made it better the issue is NOT resolved. Universal did not charge me for todays visit as they simply can't fix it.
I saved all my life to be able to afford to have a really nice washing machine. This is not at all what I dreamed of having.
Desired outcome: I would like my machine fixed to where the water fills up enough to actually wash my clothes and have it work so it does not tear my clothes to pieces. Or I would like to have this machine replaced with a model that will wash my clothes.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

Purchased on May 10, 2021 from Costco.
1. first problem I had with this washer was that is was going from the start sensing mode to wash completed with nothing in between. Repairman came out and order some parts and said he would order a wiring harness but that it was on back order. Some of the parts came in except for the wiring harness which he rigged the machine to work in while the part came in. During this repair, we were out a machine for almost two months. This was a hassle seeing that me and my wife both work and had to spend our spare time going to the laundry.
2. Second time the machine started to sound like a blender on the last minute of the wash. Repairman came out, but could not get any codes from the diagnostics. he told me that he could not do anything without a code. He told me that if it happens again to record the problem.
3. within a week the noise came back and Ii was able to record, but this time the machine started doing the same problem as the first call. It would go from the sensing mode to wash completed right away. Repairman came out right away and I showed him the video. he did a diagnostic and and there were various codes. He told me that he would order part and that some would be on back order. I believe he ordered 4-5 parts. He could not give me a time line for the repairs or could not be sure if this would fix the problem.
I have 4 daughters, a mother-in-law and wife and the laundry can be a big tack when we do not have a washer. We have to wash at a laundry mat close by and do this on our free time. I purchased the Maytag Washer because it is one of the most dependable names in appliances. I did not expect this washer to give me so much problems. I know that these repairs will not happen as soon as I would like them to happen and this is really disappointing. After talking to Customer service representative and the person she transferred me to who was above her they both told me there was nothing they could do to help me. it was funny that I went on Maytag facebook and seen that the same issues are happening with other people. From what I was told by the Reps. is basically that I'm screwed and have to wait because there is nothing that can be done. Have a nice day because me day was ruined with the news of the repairs and how long it may take.
Desired outcome: If there was a Happy Customerland It would be nice to either replace the machine with the same one or some type of reimbursement of some kind. I spend on average $40 to $50 at a laundry mat at an average of 2 time a week.
I have had my Maytag machine that is less than a year old and have had the same issue with my machine going to washing complete without it washing. In my case they said it was my transmission.
Same as you they cannot get the parts. I have my 6 people total (three of them children under the age of 6) when I try to contact Maytag direct to see if they will reimburse me the 300.00 dollars that I have had to spend at the laundry mat I cannot get through. I can get to caller 2 then it cuts me off. I wish I had never got this Maytag machine. Why can't just give me back my 979.00 dollars and take the machine back. The 10 year warranty is useless. I am not a satisfied customer at all. I hope nobody gets trapped like we did.
Bravos XL washing machine
The machine will not start and the control panel is completely dead. The problem, I learned, is that the circuit board does NOT have silicone coating, like the LG and Samsung, and is susceptible to the effects of moisture. Most machines last 10 to 11 years. I have only had the machine 3 years.

Maytag washer
Purchased a brand new Maytag washer in Feb. Not even 5 months old and while washing a dog bed that was peed on the machine malfunctioned and locked with nasty dog pee water stuck inside. After dealing with the company for two weeks finally got a tech out. It needs three parts one backordered for up to a month. So for up to 2 months this nasty water will continue to rot the inside of my new machine. It stinks. Costumer service sucks. They continue to say that nothing can be done and that once they can get the part I stick and get it working the water will drain and just to use afresh to clean it. The water is so rancid I can’t even imagine washing my kids clothes after this is resolved. So disappointed in Maytag and their consumer service.
Desired outcome: I’d rather have this unit switched out at this point. The water is rancid.
Refrigerator and customer support
I purchased a refrigerator from the Maytag website in 12/2021. In April, the compressor went out. The fridge is still under warranty, but the compressor the service company cannot get the compressor - there are no compressors for this fridge in the entire USA. Maytag blames COVID for being unable to honor the warranty. They refuse to compensate me for the $400.00 loss of food, plus the inconvenience of not having a fridge. I have asked that they pick up the fridge and refund my money. They refuse. I have paid for a product that I cannot use, and I have no idea if or when I'll be able to use it. The fact that Maytag continues to sell products they cannot honor the warranty for is unacceptable. I have called multiple times, I have written a letter to which I have had no reply. This company is not the dependable company they advertise to be.
Desired outcome: A full and complete refund.

I purchased this washing machine from Home Depot on 11/21/16. I've also purchased the extended warranty twice and am still covered. Starting on March 7, 2019 I have been having a computer error issue and my door is locked with my laundry inside. The same issue has occurred 6 times since. On 6/25/21 the tech replaced the computer, door lock & switch although he left with the door loose which made me wonder if the door lock was actually installed. I am now having the same problem. A tech was scheduled for July 12 but I was contacted and told he called in and wasn't coming so they rescheduled me for 7/19/22. I'm concerned as this is a different tech. The last one told me he was going to try replacing the pump and would bring a new pump with him but unfortunately that tech no longer covers my route. Now I'm concerned that the tech scheduled for 7/19 may not have the pump as he's been here before and is the one that left in a hurry and my door loose. As this is the 7th visit I feel that this machine more than qualifies as a lemon. Please advise me on my options. Thank you.

Maytag dryer only six months old. We have purchased a top load Maytag dryer from Home Depot six months ago. The motor went out on it! We have now been without a dryer for a month because Maytag has been very slow on getting the parts to there authorized repair company. This company has not been very helpful as well. Of course it’s under warranty but we shouldn’t have to go through this for a supposed great appliance manufacturer item that died in six months. Horrible customer service.
