This washer has not worked well since we purchased it 3.5 years ago. We had a service rep. out to repair it right after we purchased it. Now the entire motor that runs the unit has failed and the part was on back order. It's been 6 weeks since we could use our washing machine. Every time I have called the customer service line, I have been on hold for a half an hour before someone picks up.
The repair tech advised that even after this motor is replaced, there's still no guarantee that the unit will perform properly.
I have had it with this machine and asked customer service to allow me to return it I even said they could pro-rate the value but they said no and wouldn't discuss it.
Very disappointed in Maytag and will never buy another Maytag product again.

I was washing clothes and thank goodness no one got hurt. (See picture below) I bought this set in 2014. I thought maytag was better than this! How is there not a safety device to prevent this from happening. I need someone to contact me asap!

I purchased a Maytag refrigerator in May at the Home Depot in Los Cabos. It hasn't worked properly since the first week. The freezer is full of ice on the wall & light. There's water dripping into the refrigerator. Items freeze in the refrigerator that are towards the back wall. I've called every single number given me by both Home Depot management, customer service & Home Depot corporate. I finally had a service man come out who took pictures of everything & said it was a seal problem & he would be back in 7-10 days. This Wednesday will be 3 wks. without any contact. Why can't this problem be resolved. This has been the worst service I've ever had with a large purchase from your company. I spoke with Armando Puente in customer service who has done absolutely nothing except apologize. I am not looking for apologies, I am looking for a resolution to this problem. I have bought five appliances from Leons location in Brampton plus sofa paid all cash and when they delivered to my house the stove had broken digital clock display and sofa had broken zipper in the pillow.
After several complains and phone calls to the store, nobody ever called me back after requesting to speak to manager claiming they are on " conference call" each time I called them. They refused to replaced the items claiming it will take 4-6 weeks for delivery and sofas are completely sold out. The nearest location would be Kitchener but its too far for delivery according the them.
They sent technicians who ( the stove one) was late few hours and my several phone calls to try to locate him and confirm if he was even coming.
Both of the technicians were not able to fix the problem but to order the parts where again I have to wait several weeks!
I am very upset and disappointed with Leons store and their customer service the way it was handled. I paid for brand new appliances and sofa and wont accept the broken or repaired one.
If I wanted used items I would have bought them on kijiji or second hand not at the store brand new!
I want this matter to be resolved asap as I wont hesitate to take it further.

The thing doesn't work it's the biggest piece of [censored] Maytag has ever put out it will not run complete cycles if you want it to run all the cycles you have to manually change it. It will not run complete wash cycles the technician s that have looked at it are stupid because they say there is nothing wrong with it. Honor your stuff and get something done about it. Because we had prob from get go and the place she got it wouldn't let her return it for something else.

Have replaced both washing machine (twice) and dryer since end of June. I wish I would have kept my old ones. Not enough water and agitator does not completely submerge even smaller loads of clothes in the water on the "Deep Fill" and "Deep Rinse" settings. Clothes are not getting nearly as clean as past 10 year old model. New Dryers timer stopped working after 8 loads so am now setting my phone timer so I don't forget to pull clothes out before they get too hot (meanwhile I let the delivery people take my older working dryer). Dealing with customer service has got me nowhere so far. Frustrated with lack of quality and large appliances that are not built to last. I guess saving water is important but isn't it just as important that these large appliances don't end up in a landfill after a few years! Where is the progress? Bring the 3 year warranties back with trained service men so that appliances last 10 - 20 years and not 3-8 years!

I bought a Maytag washing machine and dryer March 9, 2018. It was installed by the authorized Maytag service center last March 17, 2018. The installers said it is easy to use and just make sure we only exactly 6kgs and not put too much detergent. After less than a month, the water was stocked inside amd it stopped spinning. We were told that we need to use a liquid detergent, we followed the intstructions. It worked for a while, but just after according to the technician the motherboards needs observation. They sent a new set of technicians after a week, they said everything was okay. After almost 2 months, same problem the water was stocked inside and it would not go on spin. I reported and asked for a service appointment almost a month ago. They sent Christian Adolacion, he confirmed that the mothetboard is broken. They scheduled to replace the motherboard. It took almost two weeks for them to update me. They said that their service car has no registration so they were not able to schedule. Finally today, Aug. 13, 2018. Two techinicians arrived, checked the unit but brought the WRONG parts but they checked the unit and said it was working. We tried using it and after less than an hour, same problem it goes on heavy load, it wont spin and the water was stocked inside.
This has caused our household too much inconvenience, we spent almost Php 1000($20) a week to have our laundry outside. We have a toddler and an infant at home, having this problem with our washer does not help. It also does not help that Chef's Magic Trade Center, Inc. staffs and technician are very INCOMPETENT. When I called this afternoon to report what happened the customer service representative said that nexr time they will send a better and senior technicians and promised me to sent via text message the local email address where I can send my complain. I did not received any text message. I am very disappointed, I am demanding immediate action on this matter. I would like a unit replacement or full money refund for the washer.

I had a stackable Maytag dryer that was bought in 2016 but only used during the summer of 2017. Last May the dryer stopped heating. I contacted Maytag and they sent a repair man a week or so later. He identified the problem in the electronic control and ordered a replacement part. The part came and he installed it a week later. The part was faulty and he ordered a replacement for the replacement. It arrived a week later and also did not work. He said he had had problems with replacement parts but contacted the technical serMvice department at your facility as he did the first time. The technical service person said there were problems associated with new software being not compatible with dryers in the last year and we needed a new control panel. I contacted Maytag again waiting the usual hour to get through on the phone. They agreed to replace the parts for free and ordered a control panel that arrived a week later. The technician installed both parts but they did not work and he got error message.
I contacted Maytag again and after waiting the required hour talked to a person who said she would contact the department who could arrange a replacement. They contacted me a few days later and said they would supply a replacement for $250.
This was delivered a week or so later but they did not have a stacking kit and returned to the delivery company with the dryer.
A week later they returned with the stacking kit but forgot the dryer.
A week later they returned with both the dryer and stacking kit but the installer (always a different person) said he was too big to get in the space behind the dryer and that the venting supplied was wrong.
I bought new venting from Home Depot and a new installer arrived a week later. He said the new venting was not necessary and in fact wrong and installed the dryer. It ran but foolishly I did not check to see if it heated and neither did the installers or if they did took off without letting me know that the dryer, like the one that was replaced did not heat. I discovered this a couple of days later when I tried to use it.
I contacted Maytag and they setup an appointment for a new service technician to visit. I contacted Maytag again today hoping to get some explanation of what might happen next or some explanation. They had no idea but did inform me that they would not replace the new dryer but would start repairs again.

My dish washer was purchased 3 years ago from a distributor in jordan and the machine used only 3 times during the 3 years as we were out side jordan working
Sudenly the machine stopped when we came back for good and there was no operation at and the dashboard was not showing any lights at it which means there is no electricity while it is connected and button of start is on.
I contacted the distributor customer service who asked to send the bill of sale and sent and after a complete month and calling many times he reffered me to the agent in amman and after couple of weeks they sent the technician who said the dashboard is not working.. He admitted that the machine was not even used and its brand new
He took the dashboard with him and after many calls for more than 3 weeks and nothing done and they said its not under warranty as bought 3 years ago... While the distributor assured its under warranty
Till date nothing happened and no one from the agent side call as I have to call again and again
That is a very bad customer service for a well known company

Our washers and dryers are new and not working properly. Tried to get them serviced and contractor told my wife over the phone "he didn't have to put up with her [censored]" or her "crappy attitude" and hung up the phone.
Needless to say I'm not a happy person. I'm going to load them both up and return them to Lowe's if I don't this resolved. Terrible machines and terrible customer service.

I bought this machine a year ago at Lowe's and had 2 service calls in the first 6 months. The machine senses weight and supposedly fills accordingly. There is never enough water for a thorough wash and because I care for my 90 year old mother in my home and do lots of laundry for her all week a thorough wash is crucial to her health. On occasion pieces of clothing will come out completely dry! The whites never look clean. I'm not sure what my recourse is but I'm on a crusade for results. I've seen many bad reviews on this product. What can you do for me?
I am having the exact same problem with my Maytag washer. The washer has a sensor and you can supposedly override it for a "deep wash, " however, it doesn't work. The machine will only fill with about 4" of water. I have to lift
and shut the lid, so that 8 seconds worth of water will fill into the tub. I have to do this about 70 times, so that enough water will fill into the tub to do a load of laundry. It would be nearly as easy to wash everything out by hand.

There is mold build up in the drawer that the soap and bleach are dispensed, and the fold in the door gasket is black at the bottom which runs off on clothes. This unit has ten years warranty, but how do you fix something that is inherent in the design. We bought this ove LG and it has been a disappointment. We purchased the dryer as well and it takes forever to dry clothes. The exhaust is unrestricted.
How can you help to make us feel buying US was a good choice.

My name is Paul Meyers. On June 22, I ordered a Maytag side-by-side refrigerator (Model Number MSC21C6MFZ) from Lowe's Home improvement (online). The initial order said the refrigerator would be delivered on 3 July. Since then, the delivery was delayed to 24 July (today) and today, I was told the unit was back-ordered again to 22 August. I immediately contacted Lowe's to convey my disappointment. They suggested I try contact the delivering store to see if another model was immediately available. Instead, I tried calling Maytag Customer Service to see if this refrigerator was available anywhere else in Columbus, Ohio. Maytag Customer Service could not tell me if any other dealer in Columbus had this refrigerator.
You folks spend a lot of money advertising how dependable Maytag appliances are. Unfortunately, I can't buy one anywhere in Columbus because they are "special order"... Please help me.

The Dishwasher is hardly used and the plastic inside the walls is cracked.

The washing machine was stopping mid cycle. No error code displayed just flashing the time. Called the local Maytag repair shop. They told me I would have to bring it to them, they don't do service calls. Took it to them they charged me a $48 deposit to leave it there and $238 later my washing machine is still not working properly. I have too much to complain about with limited space here. The tub wobbles and the machine is not getting clothes clean. Not to mention it is so loud when it is running. I don't even see any suds when it is washing the clothes. They didn't even call to tell me when it was ready to be picked up. Two weeks after leaving it with them, I called them. This is the worst customer service and the last time I will spend money on any Maytag appliance.

Talk about being frustrated! We have had our washer for less than a year. Over 6 weeks ago it stopped filling with water. We called a local technician who came out, but couldn't work on it because it was under warranty. We called maytag, who scheduled with Impact. We let them know the part number that needed to be ordered and they scheduled to come out in 2 weeks. Two weeks later, the day of our appointment, they call to say they need to order the part. REALLY? 3 weeks later, still no part. According to Impact, it is on back order. I ask for the part number and Impact won't tell me it. I call Maytag and find out that the part was never ordered and shipped. They sent it out 2-day Fedex. This is on a Thursday. On Monday my husband called impact at 2pm to find out what is happening and they tell him it will be delivered between 4-6pm, ... that day! My husband rushes home from work, only for them not to show, and no call. They couldn't make it because of fires and would be out next day between 7:30-10. At 10 am the next day my husband call, and they won't be there around 12. They don't show up until around 1pm. THEN, the part they replace doesn't fix the problem. We need a new Mother Board. I call Maytag the following afternoon, to find they haven't ordered the part or completed the required paperwork. Sunday night I get a call from Impact asking if our washer was fixed and were we happy. WHAT? They never called us to set up an appointment to fix it? Don't they have records of this? They tell me they will be here Wednesday between 7:30-10. I call today (Wednesday) to confirm the time, and its now 8-12. Now I'm ticked. My father passed away Sunday evening and I scheduled my funeral arrangements around their appointment. The guy tell me to trust them. And he ends up hanging up on me when I tell him I don't. It is now 12:00. And no technician. After reading all the reviews on here, I really want Maytag to refund me my money and come pick up this washer so I can purchase a new one. It has been almost 2 months with no washer. Oh, I looked up Impact customer rating... 2.5 stars... HMMMMMM... biggest complaint? Don't return calls, don't show up to appointments, and don't order parts. Maybe Maytag/Whirlpool needs to find reliable companies to work with them. One very unhappy and frustrated customer.

I purchased the above washer in June 2015. On 4/23/18 I heard a grinding noise on above washer and would not agitate. I called Appliance Care of Texas and they came out on 5/2 and replaced the gear-casing for a total of 535.76. On 6/1/18 the grinding noise was heard again and would not agitate so I called ACT. The returned on 6/8/19 and verified and said they had to order, so returned and replace the gear-casing on 6/19/18. On 6/22/18 the grinding noise was heard again and would not agitate. So I called once again and they sent out another serviceman on July 5. He verified it was indeed the gear casing again and had to order the part again and could not come back out until July 16. Aside from having to pay 535.76 to fix the washer, I have been without my washer on and off for almost 2 months trying to fix the same issue. I can supply appropriate service records if needed, but would like a total refund of the above amount so I can replace the washer.

Washer is Model MVWX655DW It won’t spin the water out and it keeps running even after lid is up. I had to unplug it to stop it from running. It’s going to cost me a lot of money to fix. Purchased the Maytag MVWX655DW top loader washing machine just under 2 years ago. Started having problems several weeks ago. Repairman came out today and said the computer is bad and would cost $475 to repair, paid $532 new! He said it is not worth repairing can buy new one for about $100 more. He said it is because it is in a non climate controlled room. Beware if you are purchasing this machine!

Stanton's appliances in Baton Rouge, La. is who I purchased this washer from ( along with a matching dryer ) would not replace this washer with a new washer. I have an extended warranty through Warranty Group which Stanton's sold me.
I am totally displeased with Magtag and Stanton's Appliance who I purchased it from. The wiring on the new motor looked like it had burned, I do not know if the machine wiring is causing the motor to go bad, and am very much concerned about this happening again with a new motor and causing a fire. Not to mention the days of missed work to meet Stanton's to carry this machine to their shop to change the first motor out and then another day off for them to return it to me.
I will never purchase a Maytag washer again and never purchase any appliance from Stanton's appliance in Baton Rouge.
I am seeking an attorney concerning this unit possibility causing a fire, if repaired.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
