On Oct 28 2017 me and my son came from Atlanta ga to Knoxville tn, when we arrived in Knoxville I got off the bus to get my luggage and let me remind you it was raining the driver had already took my luggage had it in the rain laying on the ground not sitting up but laying in the water I was very upset he was very unprofessional, i have tried getting a hold of you all But haven't been successful

On oct20th, my mother and me took a mega bus from new york, to toronto.
At 7:50am, the bus stopped for a 30 minutes break between rochester and buffalo. At 8:20am, the bus had already gone and left us behind. There was no any other public transportation in that area (I really don't understand at that night, the mega bus had the right to be late for more than 30 minutes to pick us up in ny, and also the right to leave us at middle of nowhere). My bag was still on the bus. I called the customer service [protected] immediately in hope of tracking the bag. She only called me back for no conclusion by telling me that I will be contacted soon, but it never happened.
When we finally got to toronto, we went to the office to report the lost item. Later, we were told that the bag didn't go through the custom but return back to ny, and given a number [protected] for me to contact when we return.
On oct22nd, I called and I was told that the bag couldn't return till friday. I heard nothing.
On oct27th, I called and was again given another number [protected], lost and found department. I left my voicemail twice. (In my mind, where is my bag?)
On nov 3rd, I called again and I was told that they never receive my bag! What is going on!? She said she will email me a lost item claim form. Till now, nov 14th, I received nothing but [censor] from the mega bus company.
In her black and red bag, there were ipad, her cell phone, her coat, medicine for her high blood pressure and etc. She could go to hospital or get killed if she didn't have any extra. The value of lost items is definitely higher than $250!
The funny thing is, on the returning trip to new york, the bus driver count the number of passenger at each stop.

I got to the megabus station in orlando fl and i was rudely attended by an employee by the name of peter. That employee is the rudest and disrespectful person i have ever dealt with. Never again i would take the bus from Orlando to miami. I would like for a representative to contact me in regards to this person. If he dont like his job he should not be working there.

Good Evening,
I am writing you with sincere concern as I purchased a MEGAbus ticket for a trip from DC to New York on October 23rd and my life was placed in grave danger. I purchased an overnight ticket with the expectation that not only I would arrive safely, but also with the expectation to arrive in time for an important meeting. Throughout the trip I heard the bus driver hit the safety rivets on the side of the road as he was falling in and out of sleep; until finally he decided to pull over and get out to stretch on the side of the road (not a rest stop). Once he finally decided to pull over at a rest stop, he advised the bus that we would have to wait for 45 minutes for a new driver, as a result of him being exhausted.
I appreciate the bus driving finally pulling over and calling for help. However, I do not appreciate him putting everyone's life in danger before he realized that he was incapable of completing his expected shift route. I would like to be compensated/refunded for my trip, as endangering one's life is completely unacceptable, not to mention I missed a very important meeting.
I would look forward to hearing from someone regarding this matter. Please see the attached documents for reference.

Hi there,
Specifically took bus from Toronto to Montreal to be in on time for a meeting in Montréal, the whole trip cost me $71 dollars to reserve and ensure that I had a seat, and the bus was an hour and a half late. The bus driver got lost in the city of Montréal further delaying us. Nothing was communicated to passengers so I had no way of informing my colleagues when an expected time would be. The wifi also was not functioning for the entire trip, preventing me from even working on anything while I waited. I was late for my meeting, the reason for the trip and I demand a refund.
about the staff irresponsible behavior
I had a bus from Union Station, DC to New Jersey ! I showed my ticket to the megabus representative there at station and he misguided me to New York bus and later when they told me to recheck my ticket it was found that i was in wrong bus and in meantime my bus to New Jersey had left already! I had to stay that night in DC and leave next day! Way too much irresponsible behavior! I cant handle anything like this happening, i have been traveling with megabus for the last so many months and this is unacceptable!
no wi-fi on 2 trips I took.
On October 27th I had a reserved one way to Cleveland Ohio, was told the bus had free Wi-Fi with my reservation, got on the bus, not only was there no Wi-Fi all of the front seat reserved outlets were out of order on the driver side, it was a total inconvenience to other passengers and myself.
Then November 1st. I made another reservation one way back to Chicago, was told the bus had free Wi-Fi again, hoping it was a different bus, but ended up on same bus once again 8:00 to 1:40 trip with the very same problem. I need to know who do I report this false advertising to, I'm needing some kind of compensation for these two trips, because I use Mega bus, for a lot of my travel.

My bus was scheduled to leave St. Louis at 2:25 p.m. on Monday October 30, 3017. The bus arrived to load up at 3:10 p.m. and did not leave St. Louis until 3:15 p.m.
I am very upset concerning this issue. There wasn't any type of communication letting us know the bus was going to be late and/or why. I am a frequent rider with this company and this is one trip I was very disappointed with.

On our way from Philadelphia to Hampton Vigi is and the air stops working. The driver, a very thoughtful person, gives us options: continue or pull over somewhere and wait for at least 3 hrs for a replacement bus.
Some of the elderly and health challenged rider had a big choice to make.we decided to carry on but not without extreme discomfort on an already warming day.
Do better, Megabus! 3 hrs for a replacement ? Unacceptable. I'll be rethinking your company as a travel option.
delayed bus resulting in additional expenses
I booked a trip from Washington D.C. to New York City on October 19th, 2017, scheduled for departure at 1:00 PM for $13. The bus was supposed to get to New York City at 5:15 PM, but did not reach until 7:15 PM. We made a stop in New Jersey to switch drivers, but the bus driver that was supposed to meet us didn't show, so our driver continued on route to NYC. However, before reaching the city, we pulled over on the highway to meet the driver who was supposed to meet us in New Jersey, but ended up waiting for an hour for him to show up. The driver finally arrived and got on the bus without even apologizing for the delay. Once we finally arrived in New York City, passengers began helping each other unload the luggage because the bus driver was still sitting on the bus.
I am not a person who normally files complaints, as I understand life happens. However, due to this delay I missed my bus from New York City to Binghamton which I paid $42 for, and then had to buy a new bus ticket upon reaching Port Authority. The next bus ticket cost me $39 to depart from NYC at 8:30 PM, arriving in Binghamton at 12:15 AM, which also meant I had to find a new ride to pick me up at the buss station because of how late it was. Though I am originally from Upstate New York, I now live and work in Uganda, and make only $500 a month. Therefore, paying for the original tickets was a challenge enough, let alone having to buy a new ticket because we spent an hour on the side of the highway waiting for the drivers to switch.
I have been a loyal MegaBus customer for year now and though small delays and overbooked buses have interfered with my plans in the past (to the point where my brother had to drive me to NYC so that I did not miss a flight after an overbooked bus) I have never complained. I would hope that after my years of loyalty MegaBus will take responsibility and refund my tickets, which is the least good customer service could do.

I am right now on megabus, went from Los Angeles and heading to San Fransisco. The first driver was definitive falling asleep while he was driving. I was scared. Luckily they changed the driver to the second one. However she is even worse. She is driving reckless. She have been honking on other cars every second minute, as well other cars have been honking on her. She almost hit another truck. I can’t sleep. I am scared for my life. I was suppose to get rested since we are not arriving in SF until 6:35am. I will never take mega bus again. Mega bus wrote safety comes first on the website. None of the drivers are safe. The company should definitively check on the drivers. I grow up with racing. And are usually never afraid on the road. This night/morning I am for the first time very scared because of the drivers!
Please let me know when you have taking care of this. I do not want this happen to other people.

Arrived at Polk and Canal, Chicago, Il at 0805, it was raining very hard and continuely. Upon arrive, I told a bus person that my destination was St.Loius, I was told that the bus had not arrived yet. As I waited in the heavy rain with other passengers, the bus person (3) left to fine shelter from the rain. One MegAbus as I know them (colors). Was loading . As time when by two USA COash bus can and went; no destination sign showing St.Louis. No inter action with the bus personal. Called [protected], 3 times was told that the bus had left, they were sorry. I was told I would have to purchase an other fare at $44.25 . They would not accommate me on and bus leaving for St.Louis. I loss a night's lodging at $120 + tax as well as becoming sick as a result of being soak in the rain. In addition to cost of $12.50 MegAbus + Amtrak-$44.50
racism and scam artist
Waiting for the 315 bus Pittsburgh to my first of all is was late didn't leave til after 4 and I had my young child with me.then while boarding the bus 2 white men that was boarding the luggage was being racist saying derogatory words to black woman and to an Indian man saying that he had too much luggage the bus was empty no more than 20 people on board but when a white woman who also had too much luggage they didn't tell her that she had to purchase additional tickets. The 2 white men who works for u megabus yelled at him racist slurs it was completely wrong they were so loud and scary it frighten my daughter.I am going to make sure that everyone knows that your company is racist and that u hired racist in your company that u will lose business what u failed to realize the majority of your customers are people of color I am going to contact the media and anyone who will listen that u guys are scam artist by taking people money and not letting them get on and the most important thing u guys and your employees are racist.

I purchased 2 round trip tickets from Philadelphia to New York for October 12th. The reservation number 5/[protected]-M23R-0600-PHI-NEW. The bus left Philadelphia at 6:00am with an ETA of 8:10am. The bus did not get to New York until 8:51 and I missed my meeting and was turned away. I called customer service and was told that there was nothing that could be done just file a complaint. Customer Service representative David and his supervisor Jay were very unprofessional would not give me their last names or Employee number. I also asked for the number to corporate and I was told there was no number to corporate. I then go to catch the bus back to Philadelphia and the bus driver refused to open the door. I called customer service again and was told I should have arrived 15 minutes prior to the bus departure. I was told to catch the next bus and we had to pay 5 dollars each. The manager and attendant at the bus departure station 34th Street between 11th and 12th avenue were unprofessional as well. He was on his phone when I asked him a question playing a game and then when I asjes to pay the 5 dollars he states don’t talk to me to him (other megabus employee). I am a customer of your company and nobody she ever be treated with such unprofessional customer service face to face or over the phone. I will take this complaint as far as I have to until I get my money back. I found the corporate number that customer service told me did not exist. I will never and your company may not care but I mean I will never take a megabus anywhere again and I will spread the word to others. You need to do better screening when you hire your employees because every one of them that I have encountered today needs to be retrained better yet fired. poor customer service and trying to overcharge
After over 30 hours of traveling from Africa and Europe we chose Megabus to get us back to our car in Richmond. The worker (Charlene) indicated that we had too many bags and was going to charge us for 5 extra (She was counting my purse and daughters purse). She demanded we pay for the extra luggage even after we put both purses in another piece of luggage that we were carrying. When we tried to discuss which bags met the requirements and which bags didn't, she refused to explain the policy or give any explanation why we had to pay so much extra. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she said she was the supervisor and wouldn't give any further information.
The baggage handler was very rude when I was trying to understand why we were being charged extra. He asked rudely why I thought our bags qualified as carry-on and I said that they were standard carry -on size as we had just gotten off of two planes that allowed 1 luggage and 1 carry-on each. His response was "do you see [censor]ing wings on this bus?!" When I asked his name to file a complaint he said " luggage loader".
After paying extra without a proper explanation using remotely decent customer service skills we saw online that standard carry-on bags are too large to be considered carry -on for Megabus. I understand and can respect policy-I cannot understand rude inappropriate communication from employees when dealing with travelers. Demanding that I pay for bags that I placed inside other bags and then yelling " do you see [censor]ing wings on this bus?!" in front of my 8 year old daughter is unacceptable. Very unhappy customers.
failure to provide service exchange or refund
I bought two tickets at megabus.com for the Oct 6 2017 11:59pm bus from NYC to Syracuse NY. I did this on my cellphone and texted the registration number to my travel partner so we'd both have it. When we went to the bus the next evening the driver said this registration number isn't for this bus but for one which left at 12:15pm today. I said that isn't what I bought. He said call customer service. I did. They didn't answer just the same recording again and again... that they were experiencing high call volume (at midnight?). I waited for 45 minutes listening to the same recording repeat. Is it possible there is no service at night?
The driver was unsympathetic and impolite when I asked if he had any way of contacting Megabus directly. He said it was my problem for buying the wrong tickets. He began to sell our seats that we paid for to other passengers who just arrived. We got onboard and sat down. He said he'd call the police. We said go ahead maybe THEY will have a heart. We waited and waited. There was still no answer from the customer service people and no police. The driver announced that due to two people without tickets forcing their way onto the bus he had to wait for the police to arrive. They never did.
Finally, feeling compassion for the other passengers being forced to endure a lengthy wait, and unwilling to risk legal trouble for my travel companion, an astonished visitor from China, I said to the driver "Because I, unlike you and Megabus, have a brain and a heart, we're getting off the bus so these people can reach their destination. What you and Megabus have done this day is methodically cheat us, rudely fail to help us get available seats, threaten us with arrest, and ruin our weekend trip... all just for money (customer servive later refused refund, exchange or any form of compensation) without providing ANYTHING. For this indignity and robbery we will NEVER use Megabus again as long as we live. You'd better look for another job, driver, because NO COMPANY that treats people like this can stay in business long." The driver scoffed and drove away. He wouldn't give us anything but his first name (John) when we asked for identification. Common Megabus employee behavior I read later!
We had to take the PATH back to Jersey City and sleep in our RV. There were no other busses to Syracuse til morning --too late to make our trip to Syracuse. Megabus.com won't admit or take any responsibility for their error and refuses to refund our money or even apply the $92.50 they took from us toward new tickets (even if we were foolish enough to make ourselves available for more of their abuse).. I've never experienced such hardened intentional discompassion from any company and I'm 72 years old! We will certainly dance at the inevitable demise of this worthless Megabus company! Let the buyers decide!

My purchased ticket scheduled for 11am this morning left early due to being full and I was not seated at a given time with 15 other people who were ahead of me and waiting for the same bus. I had to stand in line on stand by until 3pm, Until I realized I will not be seated until 9pm. This is unacceptable and I am requesting a refund or free ticket of same value for my next trip otherwise it is my last one with Megabus services.

To whom it may concern, I booked 2 reserved tickets to Philadelphia leaving from New York 10/6/2017 at 2:45 pm. I arrived at 2:36pm I was ahead of the line in the front by the Philadelphia sign. After waiting a few minutes I seen busses leave, I asked for assistance one staff member told me the buss left and I needed to be there 15 minutes before. Being in front of the line I was waiting to be seated, I would've heard them call for last call. I've never had this happen I am a regular customer. I know busses leave early and arrive late. In this situation I've never experienced bad customer service. I was made fun of because I was in the front of the line and they said I didn't hear them. I recently had abdominal surgery, I just got cleared to go home to Philadelphia where I will finish my recovery. I reserved the seats so no one next to me will bump into any of my incisions on my side seating next to me. When I asked for names no one on the staff wanted to give me there name. I spoke to someone on the phone named Luis I was helpful but wasn't able to tell me if there was a supervisor or manager on site to assist me.

I left Atlanta GA on sep. 28th for Washington DC at 6:40am the first bus driver took multiple stops for food, bathroom breaks and other stuff. The bus number was DD550 my bus ticket number was [protected]-M38R-0640-ATL-WAS. The thing that is upsetting is that if I were to arrive on time I would not had to walk 5 miles to get home being that I am 4 months pregnant. I've traveled with Megabus for a while and this incident will not stop my experience and expectations with your company.

Hope you are fine.
I had bought a mega bus ticket for 23rd of September form Heathrow airport central to Victoria coach station at 11.45 AM and another ticket form London Victoria coach station to Norwich UEA.
The bus came at 11:45 and I asked the driver if he is going to London and if it was the right coach, but he said that he was not goanna go to London. Another bus came and he said that he was going to Bath university and not London.
I missed the bus and had to buy another national express ticket which coasted me 48 pounds.
I hope you know how devastated I was that moment.
