An order for a Miele Fridge-freezer was placed and installed in Feb 2022. It has worked nicely until now, Oct 2023. I noticed that milk and meat would go bad before expiry date, and called Miele to get support. The temperature showed 50 F (recommended temp 39F). Luckily I have a 5 year Service Contract. It took follow up to get an urgent visit (3 days after). The service did not solve the problem, and I called again to get service. This time the likely problem was identified, requiring three service parts to be ordered. It turned out that only two of the parts were available in the USA, and that the best hope was to get the third part in two weeks shipped from Germany. After several tries to reach a manager, she finally called and basically told me to just deal with the situation, and hope the part would show up in time for my early Nov service appointment. - Very disappointing for a fridge this expensive.

My dishwasher has been inoperable since SEPT 2022 through the present.
I have called Miele service numerous times. I have been told there is no authorized Miele service in Cincinnati, but they are "recruiting". It takes a year and more, for a major appliance company to FAIL TO find a tech in a city as large as Cincinnati? ***Not if they took this market seriously, not if they took customer service for their existing customer base seriously . . . ***
I have been referred to dispatch numerous times. Dispatch has referred me to a tech in Indianapolis numerous times. Said tech in Indianapolis called me once, stating he would be in the area and contact me. He never did. Dispatch then referred me to someone in KY who never called me at all.
The tech-to-tech line refuses to talk us through the repair, because they are only allowed to talk to authorized Miele techs. But there IS no authorized Miele tech in Cincinnati! For a YEAR, Miele has not served this vibrant customer base with service! IF the tech would talk us through it, we could have repaired the dishwasher ourselves with their help. This is not ROCKET SCIENCE! We the owners are not competing with any local Miele tech, there IS no local Miele tech!
How can Miele expect anyone in Cincinnati to buy their products when there is no service?
If I decided to give up on this nice dishwasher, I could NOT replace it with a Miele, because Miele has no service here!

Inappropriate Service Charge
Upon calling the Miele customer/contact center for a problem with my built-in coffee machine, I was told that my warranty was still active and that warranty expiration was not until December 2023. So I scheduled an appointment with one of their service technicians. Once the service technician came out for a visit and fixed the issue with the machine, he said we had to pay. We explained we were told by the Miele customer service technician that our warranty had not expired, and he said we would have to take it up with management. I have called the customer/contact center several times and received inconsistent information, so asked to speak with a supervisor/manager. Have not received a callback yet.
Desired outcome: The service charge should be waived.

Reaching out regarding the MIELE Canister Vacuum that I bought it as Mother’s Day gift for my daughter having issues with the motor is also making super load noise and it sounds like it could die any time and also the telescopic Wand adjusting the Hight button no longer shifting property.
During this difficult time while I was using the vacuum cleaner noticed the issues and brought it to my daughter’s attention and she had mention it was for a long time and never had the heart to tell me cause by telling me it will make me upset. Not realizing the vacuum is under the warranty and can be look after:

I tried to find my receipt for awhile and couldn’t located. Then I reached out to Costco where I purchase it and they have print me a copy of my original receipt.

Dishwasher
I have had a Miele Dishwasher for 2 years; first of all, yes and IF it’s working it cleans fabulously. The problem is it breaks about every 2 to 3 months and a repairman comes and does nothing to stand behind the product and charges me a minimum of $200 to look at it And tell me nothing is wrong I want to. Perhaps I have a Lemmon but God bless you if get one because you will be stuck with it. My ongoing issue is an error called waterproof. It begins to scream and will not shut off until I turn it off at the breaker box… In addition, the seal is terrible. I have to lean into it to get it to close and about 1/2 way through a wash, I often have to go back hit OK and close it again. Buyer beware! I am currently searching for another one. This one will go in the trash as one of my most expensive mistakes

HR 1622 Oven
On 8-31-21 I had the Module Electronic unit G5 4fach UL replaced on my oven. Then the oven has the same error code and on 1-19-23 had Mr. Appliance (Miele said they didn't have a tech in my area, so they gave me a reference number) look at it. I was told the PCB or UI Board (same as the Module Electronic unit) went bad and it is the same part that was replaced a year and a half ago. Either there is something wrong with the part or there is something else that caused it to go out. Miele states for a compliant to be filed they have to come out 3 times to look at the oven. I shouldn't have to pay again for someone to come out and probably say the PCB is bad when it looks like something in the oven is causing it to short out.

Here is what I wrote to your delivery company Fliways. I am very unhappy with their service.
You scheduled delivery on Tuesday between 12 and 4, but did not turn up. I took the afternoon off just to be there, but had no communication from you at all. You then sent a text at two days later 2:38pm on Thursday saying delivery in 30 minutes. I rushed to the delivery address only to wait 90 minutes for the driver. Not 30 minutes. I tried many times to contact you through your extremely onerous phone menu system. Every single time I finally selected Tauranga, the phone rang twice, and then silence. I tried this many times with the same result. THIS DELIVERY WAS AN APPALLING AND FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE which wasted many hours of my time. No explanation. No support. Very poor. I would never recommend Fliways, and will send my comments to Miele.
Desired outcome: Talk to Fliways about their delivery service. They have provided a very poor service to me
Full size freezer
I bought a Miele fridge/freezer side by side duo and am just now finding that they don’t expect their products to last over ten years despite the fact that I spent over $20,000 on the two units. Not only did the freezer compressor completely fail and I lost all my food, there was no one to service it and they no longer carry the parts. I’m totally disappointed with the lack of quality and the difficulty in getting help. I have a thirty year old GE fridge that still works great and it cost a fraction of the price.
Desired outcome: I would like a significant discount in a replacement freezer.

In calling Jetson they informed us that they have not received the email letting them know that it can be replaced. Microwave combination oven
I pulled on the handle to open the door of the microwave combination oven. The handle came away and the outer glass shattered. Luckily no-one was hurt.
This surely shouldn’t happen and I see GE have acknowledged that small imperfections in the manufacture of the glass can cause this.
I would expect Miele to replace this free of charge. Instead they sent a technician at $180 to then quote $750 to replace it.
What is Miele going to do about this?

Appalling overpriced repair service in Switzerland. No transparency in the pricing. Charges CHF 230 to show up and say the machine can't be repaired. Only partially reimburses if you buy Miele. The normal fee for here should be CHF 75 call out plus CHF 125 per hour, usually with 30 minutes minimum. 100% reimbursement if you buy from them. A company like Group E is much better. Miele itself should be avoided at all costs. I am so disgusted; I have gone from a loyal Miele customer (all appliances Miele) to now replacing them one by one buying alternatives.
TKG440WP C T1 heat-pump dryer
I bought a T1 heat-pump dryer on April 3, 2019 from Miele store in Shanghai, China. It cost me 17000 RMB or approximately 2500 USD to get this dryer, which is quite luxurious for a home appliance. Over the past three and half years, the frequency of usage is about once a week, altogether 200 times more or less. The machine has been under good protection of us with careful maintenance. Unfortunately, the dryer was out of operation about a week ago. The LED screen wouldn't flash and there is no power on whatsoever. We asked the official Miele after-sales service for help. The technician came to our house today, charging 430 RMB just for the inspection alone. Without carefully checking, he told us one component on the main board is burnt. The technician insisted he needs to replace the whole main board to fix the problem, and it charges 4000 RMB with a warranty of 6 months only. This solution is totally unacceptable to us due to:
1. I know something about the mechanics, it cost way less to fix a problem like this, it's not even the core component of the dryer. It will take me about 5000 RMB to repair the dryer, almost one-third of the price when I bought this, not to mention there is a depreciation of the product. I could easily buy a new dryer out of this repair fee in China.
2. The warranty lasted for only two years. There is no extended warranty offer provided. For a luxury home appliance brand with great reputation around the globe, this dryer is supposed to endure decades of high-frequency use. However, after only three and half years, it was down. So is my love for Miele's so-called premium quality and service.
3. I don't know if Miele's service elsewhere is good. But here in China, it is disastrous. I can't explain or argue with the official service people. It seems that the only way I could get my dryer fixed is to pay for whatever the price they name it. I have spoken with the service people here in China and according to them, they can do nothing about it and they are not willing to report this matter to your headquarter.
Desired outcome: To resolve this problem, I would appreciate if your company would speak to the China branch, look into the matter and repair my Miele dryer for free, or refund the money I paid for this dryer after the deduction of the depreciation.

vacuum, purchased at the end of May was wonderful, until it wasn't.
Took it to their authorized repair place. It was going to be weeks to be
fixed… through no fault of my own. A new vacuum should have been
sent immediately. Customer service=pitiful. In fact, they have it
backwards. Customer Service sucks. Vacuum does not suck. Problem

After 4 days of calling customer care I am still getting the run around from Team Leads. Miele falsly claims on their website Returns are FREE but only if they say so and for damaged items they REFUSE to provide pick-up hassle free return especially since the item arrived damaged and expect the customer to continue being inconvenienced and get it to their return service yourself and they will issue a refund.

Miele dishwasher and laundry supplies delayed for weeks with no satisfaction
I placed an order for Miele dishwasher and laundry supplies on February 11. The website was not working properly, so I spoke to a human who assured me that my order was fine and would be delivered within 3-5 business days as usual. Last week I called to find out why I had not yet received the supplies. I was told that the order was "stuck in our system" and that the person was "releasing" the order from the warehouse and sending it via Purolator as quickly as possible. I still have not received the order, so today I had to call three times (was disconnected twice), only to be told that Purolator "has the order but has not yet generated a tracking number" so there "is nothing I can do." I asked to escalate my request and was told that there would be a follow-up call within 48-72 hours in business days. So I am expected to do without supplies for my dishwasher and my laundry six weeks after I paid for them. I count on these deliveries because I am disabled. I am beyond disappointed.
Desired outcome: I want the items delivered as soon as possible.
Steam oven
Never buy Miele products. They have horrible administration with no customer service. I placed order for parts that was suppose to arrive 2/11/2022. Shipment never arrived. I called UPS and they lost the shipment. I emailed Miele on 2/16/2022. No one ever replied or got back to me. I called Miele several times and was unable to reach anyone. I called UPS on 3/4/2022, they said they called Miele and couldn’t reach anyone so they closed the case! I had them reopen the case and called Miele on 3/4/2022. Miele still says their system shows shipped arrived. I gave them all the info and claims number from UPS. Ahan says he will follow-up and someone will get back to me. No one got back to me. I called again on 3/8/2022 to both UPS and Miele. Miele says their system shows shipped arrived on 2/11/2022! I explained everything again and Yagnesh says he will put in a claim again! I told him UPS sent documents on 3/4 to Miele letting them know package was lost but didn’t get any response back. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Yagnesh says no supervisor was available at the time but will call me back. No one called. I called again on 3/9/2022. Miele still says system shows shipped arrived on 2/11/2022. After I finally got to speak to a supervisor and he looked further, he says UPS submitted the documents to the wrong department. He is forwarding the documents to the eighth department and ai will have to wait for the process to complete before anything else can be done. I have waited more than a month now since I placed my order. I told him I didn’t get the product, They can deal with the internal issues but they need to reship. He says once the product was turned over to UPS, it’s not their responsibility. It’s UPS’s responsibility. That is ridiculous. I made payment to Miele, not UPS. Miele needs to be accountable to me, not UPS. UPS is accountable to Miele and is issuing refund to Miele. Miele is a horrible, irresponsible company that I would not recommend doing business with!

My electric hob which is almost new is giving an error signal and not being turned on. I called the technical service to come and have a look at it. After waiting for 3 weeks, I received a phone call (1 hour before the arranged appointment), saying that the technician can't come because there is an issue and they will call me back. They've had not call me back.On the 5th day, I called them back to have an update, we started all over again and they give me another appointment for 3 weeks later(as if I haven't had any appointment before). So it makes 6,5 weeks to just have possibility to have a Miele technician to come and see what is wrong. And this is maybe, because I am waiting 23rd of Feb! I've lost confidence in Miele service team also in their product. Having a small kid at school age, I need to cook. No empathy and respect with the client. I am very disappointed.
