prosecco
Hello
Mine is not really a complaint but just a question.
My question is
" why is there a chiller display fridge holding over 60 bottles of white wine for customers to grab but NEVER has prosecco in it.
I have asked twice now in store with different responses.
One was Prosecco can only be stored at a certain temp, strange as I keep mine in a very cold fridge.
The second from the Manager on shift was " we have to follow a plan"
Seems you are missing a trick and covering all angles, showcasing loads of prosecco on the shelves but you can't grab a chilled bottle on route to friends.
I buy prosecco every wk so was stunned to be maybe its a summer thing.you wouldn't say that to someone drinking beer.
im not asking for 30 bottles to be chilled but 10 might be a start.
Me and my friends drink Prosecco all year long.
uncle bens rice
I bought a packet of uncle bens rice from Morrison's in Malvern, Worcestershire Thursday last week (23/08/2018). I opened it lastnight and poured it into a pan to cook for me and my 8 month old son. The expiry date is 25/07/2019.
Over 60% of the product was stuck together and covered in mould. I have photo evidence of the product the pan and the expiry date on the packaging. I will take this further as my child had to go without dinner until a lot later that night due to having nothing to cook for him and having to wait for a friend to physically bring over some food for him to eat.
public toilets in store
Myself and my wife visited the Beverley Superstore, unfortunately I had to visit the public toilets and use one of the cubicles, after using the facilities I found that one of my trouser legs was soaked, it would appear that the toilet was leaking and the floor was awash.
I went to customer services, and after a time when I managed to convince her that my embarrassing situation was more important than having a phone conversation, I was then informed that a cleaner was not on site and wouldn't be on duty till 12.00 noon, some hour and a half later.
I was then introduced to Lee (duty manager?), who went to inspect the cubicle, and arranged to have the cubicle put out of order, and arranged to have 10, 000 points put on my More Than card, and agreed to pay for dry cleaning of my shorts.
The actions of Lee are to be commended and I send my thanks.
However the lack of checking facilities and general maintenance have to be questioned, that resulted my obvious embarrassment when walking through the store with wet shorts.
Public buildings with out a duty cleaner, not to be recommended
driver
Hello
Yesterday one of your delivery drivers was blocking the road I awaited patiently for him as I could see movement in the van.
After 5 minutes he appeared from the side of the vehicle and began bringing the shopping to the customers house. It seemed as if the driver was moving at snail pace purposely because to bring 5 bags of shopping I think would take a few minutes.
When I sounded my horn the driver then decided to have a discussion with the customer completely ignoring me and the fact that he was not only blocking the road but was also on the wrong side which is a driving offence. He never moved the vehicle and began hurling abuse i then had to reverse my vehicle back down the road turn round and go back.
Our family has always been a very loyal customer to Morrison's supermarket as we have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly but after this unsavoury situation I will be rethinking where I shop.
Customer service - delivery staff
Twice we had a very rude delivery staff named Helen who brought us our online shopping in Northampton. The first time we had her as delivery person, she was very aggressive in her mannerism and hostile towards me hence I had to leave my wife to get the shopping bags. When I heard my wife scream I run to the door and saw that the delivery person had dropped 2 heavy bags filled with 1 liter coca cola bottles on my wife's bare feet and didn't even apologize. As my wife stood crying at our door, I asked what happened. My wife explained the bags were dropped onto her feet. I asked this Helen why she had assaulted my wife and she shrugged and just said "my fingers hurt from holding the bags" . I asked her for her full name which she refused to give to me, shrugged again and walked off to her van driving off. No apology. No email to leave feedback ratings.
The second time this Helen delivered again and again there was no customer service. She didn't speak, just dropped our bags to the floor (incl. eggs) and then walked off to her van. Again we received no email to leave feedback ratings.
What happened to customer service ? Morrison's, why are you allowing those staff to treat us customers like this? We wont be ordering online again in fear of getting this horrid delivery person again. What happened to the nice people we use to have?
bullseye original bbq sauce
We love this sauce. However, when I purchased a new bottle recently from Morrisons, it tasted different. Much sweeter and lacking the 'vinegar' punch that the previous bottle had. So much so - that we really don't like it! The old bottle label had a number below the best before information of R812102. The new bottle number is R814902.
Please could you look into this for me? This sauce is not cheap at £2.50 a bottle and I'm now very unsure whether to risk buying another bottle.

customer service - the despicable treatment of black people in morrisons walworth road, london se17
I want to complain about the despicable treatment i received in morrisons waworth road today mon 23rd july between 9.00 and 10 am.
I was pushed and attacked by a jamaican staff member called iivy for not using a tong. However there were no tongs to use. She continued the abuse ater i had walked away. The african security guard joined in when i got to the till and only stopped when i threatened him with the police for harrassment.
It appears to me that they attack ethnic minorities who enter this particular shop as i have had numerous difficulties
with members of staff and management.
There behaviour is inappropriate and illegal.
produce and flowers
I watched your amazing new advert, but was so disappointed with my purchases.
I spent over £40 on flowers, now completely dead within three days! A totally embarrassing gift to a loved one.
For years all my purchases of various flowers from all your competitors lasted 10 to 14 days.
The deli sausages were like bags of flavourless liquid, so so disappointed and won't be back
staffs attitude
I went Brentwood store on Sunday 8th 7 18
To buy some beers that was advertised.
So I put 3 boxes of beer in my trolley.
Got to check out and I had the rudest cashier in all my years of shopping.
Shè said my 63.39 for 9 items. So said the beers are £21.
She said I don't know the offers. Then I went say something else she said I'm calling someone wait.
She then turn her back on me and said to other cashier I'm so hot .
The of lady came a long and said no they are not in the offer so I tried to explain but they where having done of it. Said I should look as they don't know all the deals.
But on the pallet it said beers and cider £21
We have sold out so they have put those on there.
She took me to a checkout and rang my bill up. Again it was wrong .
I was treated so bad I will not use that shop again and it's my local. I kn ow it's hot.
But it's life we all have to work even me and I have to stand 8 hours. Your cashiers are lucky they can sit down.
Unhappy customer. Becourse this shop is my local. But I will not be treated like that.
I have also tried to ring this store today to speak to the manager Mark relton no answer.
complaint
I was in the llanishen store today when I went to select a Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the small freezer infront of the hot meat counter/ pastry counter. It was a good job that I looked first into the freezer as there was a frozen broken bottle of corona I cut my finger from the glass in the freezer. I took it out and mentioned it to a staff member. As I carried on my shopping I was shocked to see that the freezer wasnt immediately dealt with. Where was the health and safety protocols. I accept you are busy but what would happen it a partially sighted person LIKE MY MOTHER had reached in to get one. Secondly went to the caffe to have a small breakfast. To my disgust on recieving my breakfast. You could have used the fried egg as a trampoline as it was that rubbery. The sausage looked awful and the beans where as dry as a bone. Burnt toast and abother thing it wasnt even hot and two week prior to this I had two extra hash browns which was still frozen in the center. Where is the health and hygiene come in to this. Most of the shelves are empty and veg is going off on the shelves like potatoes going rotten and seeding. Yours mrs mathison
cafe
Myself husband and 3 children went into Morrison's cafe on outland road Plymouth today 2/7/18 we couldn't get any cold fizzy drinks because of a co2 problem then we couldn't get any of the 5 children's meals I asked for my autistic son had a melt down which wasn't great for any of the family. I then asked for couple of normal meals and was told no sorry haven't got when we were finally able to get something we asked for I was asked would I like onion rings and bread and butter so I said yes but when our meals came out no bread or onion rings when I asked for them she said sorry haven't got any. When I then asked for a child's cheeseburger she said sorry we don't have any ice cream and I had to pay double for bottles of coke. So we didn't benefit from the free children's meals because we couldn't get anything apart from cheeseburger which myyoungest didn't eat because it was horrible.
no reply to email
On 22 June I wrote an email to your customer services department detailing a serious complaint. Your ref is Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC - [protected] [ ref:_00DD0ojDb._500D01kkbiL:ref ]
I have still not received a substantive reply to my complaint.
Despite posting this on Facebook and Twitter and getting promises from your staff that they would look into it I have still not heard anything.
My complaint concerned your store manager, who apparently disagrees with my complaint, but will not say why or communicate with me. As Mandy Rice-Davies once famously said 'well he would, wouldn't he'!
I have emailed your CEO but have not even had an acknowledgement, let alone a reply.
I have always enjoyed shopping at Morrisons and do not like wasting my time pursuing this matter and I am sure that the small adverse publicity you are getting does you no favours either.
Please will you either resolve this matter or at least tell me to 'get lost', so that I can then decide whether to escalate the matter or not.

unnecessary noise while cleaning of windows
At 6.00 a.m. this morning, Sunday 17th June, my wife and I were awoken by a continuous reversing signal linked to a window cleaning device service the Yate Store at Morrison's. After two and a half hours it was still causing irritation.
Whilst I accept that maintenance work may be necessary, the hour and the day is not acceptable. Surely the reversing "bleep" could have been silenced if the work had to be done at this time.
We live within 200 metres of the store at 7 Tyning Close, Yate. [protected])
complaining about how rude staff are
I went into my local morrisons based in a town called EASTWOOD in Nottinghamshire the other day, and I got stuck in finding a product and saw a lady staff member who was actually filling the shelves, I went over to her and asked where this item was that I was looking for. She said she was actually helping another customer which to my knowledge wen I actually went over to her I saw her filling shelves and at that point she was not helping another customer as there was nobody around to state otherwise, so I found this absolutely disgusting and I then walked out of the store. Bearing in mind I shop all the time at morrisons in this area every week and do a full shop and I can spend between £30 and & £70 per week, I wish I got her name and I was actually chattngto someone who told me to send a complaint in to yourselves, I did actually think about ringing Trafinf Standards but thought would send this complaint first and see how you deal with this, if I am not satisfied in any way with the outcome then I have no choice but to contact these people. I am disgusted and at the moment I haven't been in since that day.
Kind regards Amanda

Dear or Madam,
I resently purchased 2, boxes of kronebourg 1664. When I went to take some bottles from one of the boxes I felt a sharp pain in one of my fingers and noticed my finger was bleeding. On looking inside the box I noticed that one of the bottles was broken I checked the box to see if it was wet but the box was dry and there was know staining on the box. I can only assume that this is a fault during the manufacture stage. Please could you do some investigations and let me know the outcome.
Thank_You

poor service
I shop every week at the Morrisons store in Whitehaven (and have done so since it opened back in the 90's) but yesterday was the worst shopping experience I've had. I'll list the issues I had - it was 15:30 hours when I entered the store.
1. The fruit and vegetable section was probably less than 50% stocked.
2. At the deli counter, I asked for I/2Lb of gammon ham - they had run out.
3. I then asked for 1/2Lb of Belgian beer ham only to be told there was none sliced and they had no-one available top slice any more. I couldn't believe that comment!
4. I then asked for, and got, 1/2Lb of corned beef, however the way it was wrapped and bagged, my 3 year old could have done a better job. I'm not blaming the server, as she didn't look as if she was even in her teens and had obviously received very little, if any, training.
5. I then went to the wine section and this was also barely 50% stocked.
Finally, having given up on this experience, I took what little shopping I'd bought to the check-out, only to find out that there were only 2 check-out's manned out of approximately 10. The customer being served at the check-out in front of me complained to the check-out staff member about the shocking lack of choice in the store & the shocking service at the check-out - I made it known that I was in complete agreement with her. Even the member of staff on the check-out said that staff morale in the store was at an all time low due to reduced staffing levels and the "kids" that the company are employing, presumably to keep the cost of wages down.
I'm just thankful there's a Tesco store in Whitehaven as that is where I'll be shopping in the future until Morrisons get their act together.
I would like to think I would get a reply to this complaint - my contact details are as follows;

hi beam 1 ltr
when you offer jim beam 1 ltr you never have stock.I check the site for the price, it says 1ltr £16.00 or whatever, I go to the store and it is sold out. This is every time you have the offer, asda is never sold out, nor is tesco but Morrisons is always sold out.I find this most annoying, if you don't have it then update your website and save me the trouble of going to your store. This is every time you have it on offer.most annoying !
I do plan on putting this on social media if things don't change.
disabled services at caerphilly mortisons
I have raised and complained to Caerphilly Morrison's over a period of 2 months about the lack of facility to return trollies in close proximity to the disabled bays. The chain had been vandalised and the store has made no atttempts to replace in 2 months . This means for a disabled person I have a long walk from my car up return the trolley.
For the last three weeks there has also been no smaller trollies available in the bay closest to the store and this doesn't seem to matter what time as I attended the store first thing in the morning and the trolleys simply had not been collected from the bays in the car park . With a heart condition I am unable to walk long distances so this is unacceptable, despite raising politely nothing has changed .
To make thing even worse I drove into a disabled bay this Monday to find I had driven through broken glass bottles which had not been swept up first thing in the morning. I have taken photos and find this appalling as I could have been a wheel chair user. Again I raised this with customer services . Well actually there was no one on customer service so I had to wait another 25 minutes in the lottery booth to be told some one would clear up and after waiting no one came.
There appears to be a complete disregard for disabled users, if the children congregating in the area are breaking g the locks for the trollies can another area close to the shop and to a trolley bay be designated for disabled users rather than let this continue . I have shopped with Mortisons for over 15 years but have to admit Asda has disabled parking and trolley bays in close proximity so after this weekend and 2 months of no effort I shall be shopping at Asda.
