morrison's lorry driver
Today as I tried to pull off the slip road onto the m5 at Burnham on sea, a Morrison's lorry would not let me out to the point where I ran out of slip road and had to break hard and touched onto the hard shoulder, which put my life on danger with traffic coming at me fast from behind the lorry, it was very frightening.in the 24 years I have been driving, I have never experienced anything like it, most lorries move into the middle lane if they need to. And Morrison's is where I do all my shopping. Very angry!
battery collection
Your store in Cheadle has a battery collection box that is not only full but overflowing.
The management have tried to get said box collected without success, it's now so full it is immovable.
We are told not to put batteries in the general waste and now find we have no collection point .
Can the people who supplied the boxes please be prompted to come and empty them .
Kind regards, Gail Brown
fuel voucher offer
Hi. I filled up with fuel today and forgot to give my voucher in when i paid. As soon as i realized i went back to try redeem it and was toldi was too late because i had already paid. Just think this is a bit mean seen as i always use morrisons for fuel and some shopping. Other retailers are more understanding that people do forget things sometimes
cafe
I have been to the morrisons plymstock branch cafe today with wife and father for a midday meal time order was taken was 12:04:36 then down to pay time was 12:11:38 we waited almost forty minutes for our meal and when it came the chips where just warm this is not the first time it has happened to us.When it came back out yes the chips were hot but the beans looked as though they had been under a light as they looked dried out but hot and the pie pastry was some instead of being firm hope some thing can be done about it we was not told of any wait time
you could cook your own ?
staff member shouting from behind the counter
I am at present, sitting in the restaurant in the Morrison's store Chippenham.
A member of staff who is cooking behind the counter is shouting when foidis ready, with no regard for the costomers.
Whilst queuing I found the volume to be painful and offensive.
Tge shouting continued for the duration of me meal. I sat in the middle of tge restaurant, however, the noise (shouting) continued. In all of my 66 years I believe that I have never enciuntered such behaviour.

Thats a ridiculous complaint to make if they didnt shout waiters wouldnt hear them and you wouldnt get your meal. Why did you go outside if you dont like noise. P.s learm to spell properly [censor].
staff who doesn't want to do their job
It all started around 2 weeks ago I went to Morrison to buy 3 of your flans when I got there it was ten to two and there was none so I asked the lady at the bakery could she make me some like the lady did a few days before and it was not a problem a tall and to my horror she said no I fishes a 2 and cant do it then a few days later went back to get some more and they had none left so once again I asked could you make me some and once again got told no don't have cases to make them having problems with who ever sends them and that's the way it stayed for a week then I went and there was one there but it was dated so once again I asked could they make me some and the answer was we got no cases left so I asked could they reduce the dated one and was told not allowed till after 5 and as it was only 2ish I didn't wont to wait around I took the one at full price three pound fifteen pence then yesterday 27 -11 went in got three flans and a cream cake and got a uncut loaf and when I asked the lady who told me no I finish at two took the bread of me with a big huff went and sliced it practically through it at me and went back to striation the bread back up i wouldnt use Morrison ever again but you are the only place to get these flans for my sick husband who lives of them manners dont cost anything unlike Morrison who needs to teach there staff some customer service if i owned Morrison staff like that would be right out the door when i was in store Thrusday the lady at till had her card out at till ordering something on her phone just leaving people to wait i have already emailed customer services but had no reply
empty shelves
I have used Morrison's (Basingstoke) since it took over from Safeway's but it has recently gone to pot. Staff have been notified in store but nothing has changed. Hence my contacting you.
It would appear that they have no shelf fillers as many of them are empty. In particular the vegetables and when they are being filled there is more than one and they would rather spend their time talking.
I seldom go shopping at the same time but the problem seems timeless. I decided one Saturday to go at 7am. Disaster. Empty shelves and it is not just the produce area. This week there wasn't even any sugar, amongst many other items I was unable to purchase.
I go round the store and there are many other customers also complaining the shelves are empty.
I am having to seriously consider having to go elsewhere for my shopping and I know of others saying the same. I do not want to have to go to 2 supermarkets for 1 weekly shop.

restaurant service
Finally after hoping things would improve over the past 4 months after visiting Morrison's restaurants at Wellington (Shrops), South Shields and Tynemouth it's the last time we visit as it now looks like Morrison's have cut staff to the bone
Where else can you wait 35 minutes for a basic bacon sandwich plus my wife each time has to sent her cold soup back.
Of course the coffee we had purchased to go with our meal 30 minutes earlier was well drunk.
During our 30 minute wait we even had time to count the customers in the restaurant 6 in wellington, 12 in South Shields 16 in Tynemouth so heavens knows what happens IF they ever get busy
About a year or so ago we went for breakfast in Morrison's in Crawley, after waiting about 25 minutes out came the food which was cold so we sent it back only to be told it normally sits for approximately 15 minutes depending how busy they are so i complained and got a refund anyways almost a year later my wife and i popped in to the cafe as our regular haunt was closed and my wife ordered poached eggs on toast and i had a so called cooked breakfast, the poached eggs we not cooked correctly so they went back my cooked breakfast as follows the bacon and egg were under cooked about the only good thing were the sausages, now while i'm eating my wife is still waiting on her poached eggs on toast which eventually came out some 20 minutes later, i spoke to a lady who was most apologetic and i got yet another refund plus an extra pot of tea and extra toast for my wife needless to say i will never go back in to Morrison's cafe in Crawley as the cafe and the way its run have not changed.
Customer service desk always closed in ayr store, when ask staff when it will be open they either say dont know or just ignore me. Clearly dont want or need my custom and artitude of staff is awful. Probably will not do anything about it cause you know you will always retain enough customers to make profit and thats all you care about.
Did you ask to speak with a manager while you were there?
cafe
i went for breakfast as usual to morrisons sheldon branch this morning 11/11/2017 i got an orange juice for my husband and a pot of tea and cup for myself . the person was paying in front and the lady on the till said cash only the card machine broke. and there is half hour wait. we said it would be better if you put something there telling people before they enter the self service area .. there were half cups of tea / coffee by the payment till as customers was not told about no cards until they got to the till. my husband ordered 2 bacon & egg baps to be told they'v got no baps. its a supermarket! so he said he would have bacon & egg sandwich which came as bacon & egg on toast. he didn't send it back he said he will eat it. we have sent stuff back before and had to wait 10mins to get it replaced. last week was the same got to the till to be told 45 min wait and people were leaving. we said then put a notice at the front but no to much like hard work i think. they said they were so short staffed. The manager just says sorry we are short staffed, so waste of time even speaking to him, if they are that shorted staffed the cafe should be closed. this isn't the 1st time i have complained about the cafe at morrisons sheldon. will be looking for some were else to eat breakfast in future.
veggie crisps
I have brought a few of these packets
Every time. We only get 4/6 beetroot crisps but loads of the other veggies. Ok. 1or 2 packs but not. All. Morrison should advise. The buyer that there are less of one specific vegetable crisp. Why is fruit always frozen. Mangos rock hard but sold that day you need a saw to get into it promotions given such small space if they not morrison items. Need more staff always ques.
morrisons microwave mexican rice.
I went into the leyland Morrisons store to do my weekly shop on the 02/11/2017. I bought 3 packets of Morrisons microwave Mexican rice. The date on the packet for when they re out of date was sept 2018. I used a packet when I got home to put with chilli on carne. When I tipped it out of the pack it was full of mould. All over it. It was absolutely disgusting. I also have picture of this.
fresh meat.
Have complained about diced pigs heart containing valves and blood clots on numerous occasions and continuously being told that supplier quality control have been informed and will rectify the problem, it is not being resolved in fact the situation has worsened.
Morrison's maintain that these should not be included which result in wastage as they are inedible.
sending me a delayed cheque which then bounced.
I am tired writing about this, somebody called Laura has reponded slowly and with no solution.
Insurance claim - PL150/2041/16LW.
Hopefully you can find the information through this insurance claim number.
The service I have receiced is completely unacceptable.
CLaimmade on 24th July that is now 3 months ago, I was asked to comeence the claim in store which I did and details given.
I have advised Laura that I am seeking legal advice but still no response.
The original claim was due to something on the baguette packaging staining my jackey, I have since returned and procedures have not improved yet either.
I have completely had enough of the srvice received.
morrisons the best 4 coconut lollies from the freezer.
Today 23 october I purchased the above item at morison's in Dumfries for
my daughter as a lover of coconut flavour, but to her dismay on unopening
the box all the frozen lolly was to one side of the wrapper and the lolly stick lay along the other side free of ice lolly, this was on all 4 lollies .it was obvious to me that they had been left to defrost then put back in the freezer.i presume the next customer with the same purchase may find the same problem
would be grateful if you will compensate if only to please my daughter. thankyou

service in cafe and behaviour
My husband and son visited the cafe in Morrisons on Saturday 14th October. My son chose a cold option and we ordered a toasted sandwich and soup. We waited 15 mins and a staff member walked round with our order and bypassed us. We clearly had our number 35 showing, I went up to her (Vera) and said I believe that's our order. 'No she said curtly this is 55'. We continued to wait then she went around again with our order, again I said this was our order, more rudely she told me "no no this is number 55" and urgently went back into the kitchen. At this point we had been waiting 25 mins and I spoke to another staff member who informed me that they had written the number down wrong. The food came out and my soup was cold so I was informed I would get a fresh soup but it was heated up much too hot and the croutons were soggy and tasted unpleasant. We found the service really shocking aside from the rudeness of one of the staff there seemed to be no logic that we had been waiting and they hadn't given numbers out in the 50's. We were made to feel that we were in the wrong, uncomfortable. In addition to this our son is autistic and he was getting very anxious about the situation and upset that we had not got our food at the same time he was eating. He was getting restless and we couldn't keep him still for much longer which resulted in my husband taking him for a walk around the store to avoid a meltdown. All in all not an enjoyable lunch experience at all.
rug doctor
I booked a rug doctor from your outland road Plymouth branch, when I went to pick it up i was told that due to building works all the paper work had been thrown away, i think this is really irresponsible surely all papers should be in a secure place. The staff seemed to think this was a bit of a joke. Very unprofessional behaviour this booking was very important.
meat counter
I have complained to Morrisons food store once before about how they slice up meat up at the meat counter, they said they took my complaint seriously and nothings changed. The issue I have is counter staff handling meat with no gloves on and handling the meat with their bare hands, I feel this is unacceptable, I suggested to Morrisions that the person serving simply uses the single use plastic sheet that is used to wrap up the customers meat when handling and slicing the meat, seems simple. I have contacted Morrisons direct and they say they have a bare hands policy, sorry if I don't agree with this when you have an easy solution using the single use sheet which you are giving to the customer anyway, nobody wants to see people handling your food bare handed it doesn't look nice. Apart from this issue I love shopping at Morrisons :)
i reiterate, morrisons operates a clean hand policy, it is the same on the fish stall and butchery
Seems like you missed the point, I was offering a easy solution with the plastic sheet they already use, no extra cost, just a slight change in behaviour
morrisons does have a clean hands policy, sorry but if you dont like it then maybe you should go elsewhere?

saving stamps
I have always saved stamps with morrisons for christmas and new year but have never been told they have a date on them to be spent by, how can you tell us when we can spend our money as far as I am concerned you will be stealing my money if you tell me I cannot spend my stamps after the date on them, I would not expect the bank to keep my money. I will not be saving them anymore so my custom will be going yo a shop that let's me spend them when I want to. Very disappointed morrisons
assault on customer
This happened at keighley road Morrisons in Halifax where a 15 year old boy was accused of stealing when he didn't big stocky tall manager threw this lad to the floor causing his head to bang on the floor causing a big lump to his eye staff were very aggressive to him bending his arms Wright up his bag not allowing him to get up the boys name is Danny was screaming out he couldn't breath and your hurting me still continued. I do have to say this was very discusting and as put me off shopping at Morrisons due to this appalling behaviour on a young boy no need for this sort of behaviour. Police did come and interviewed the young lad in a room don't know what happened as I left. When I pulled member of staff at the scene told her there hurting him and literally sitting on him told me they wasn't with a very clever attitude this manager should be sacked not aloud to work again.can point all these staff out if need to as well.
