I was verbally attacked by someone in the room next to me and when I went to the front desk, the employee didn't listen to me because the person who was verbally attacking me ran in with more screaming and threats. I had to leave the property out of fear for my safety. I am a regular customer of motel 6 and expect full investigation on this. They charge for internet. There's a basic($2.99) and a premium($4.99) . I pay for the premium(anyone who has used their basic knows it's simply not an option). Then after getting to my room, I find that most of the motel doesn't get WiFi. Then when I complain, they tell me I can't get my money back. And that I had to call the 1800 # on the back of the internet code slip they gave me. That amounted to nothing.

I called the front desk to ask about how much it would be for me and my wife and daughter to stay an additional night, I walked outside got about half way to off and notice I forgot my wallet, I turned ran back grabbed my wallet all the while seeing the desk person and security walking around...I got my wallet from my wife and proceeded to return to the front desk I notice the desk person and security walking in infront of me as I reached the desk was asked by security why I ran back to my room? I asked what bc I didn't understand him or what was being asked . Security replies with you sound like you have an attitude and I won't let you book another day...So I ignored the security and asked the front desk person how much was it as we had recently gotten off the phone discussing the price.I was told by desk attendent that he would rent the room.So I asked you don't want my money? He said No I laughed and left .if this is how business people are treated when travelling and staying at your hotel?I didn't complain about the numerous burn holes in the sheets and bedding, the dirty restroom or the fact that our key had to be reset multiple times through our stay, There was a swimming pool at the hotel after taking wife and daughter there we notice the prostitutes and drug pushers moving about the complex so we proceeded back to our rooms.This hotel needs to be investigated asap.The walkways are full of trash, liquor bottles and drugs.I truely am unsatisfied and will be reporting this to the local news and write a bad review on line and plan to post this interact on social media this is not acceptable at all.

Towels are stained with what looks like semen stains, ! Ice machine was not operational😩 run down looking! Doesn't deserve to have Motel 6 sign / logo! Front entrance was a train wreck broken doors that wouldn't close properly! Don't stay here it's nasty, if it wasn't for the late hour of my arrival I would've gone somewhere else! Shower plumbing was leaking at the showerhead🙈🙉🙊 if this is a franchise Corporate needs to drop this Motel NOW!

ok I understand you send your apologies and all but I stayed 2 nights at that hotel had to switch rooms, not only was the rooms nasty but I'm not joking the pool literally had little ceaser papers napkins at the bottom of it and the hot tub was so nasty and slimy you couldn't step foot in it! also when I went to speak to the manager of the hotel he was so rude that I walked away walked up stairs and checked out right away! the complimentary coffee and breakfast that is advertised was a no go and when that was brought up I got nothing but attitude about it! I paid over $150 not only that but had to pay for the coffee and breakfast that your advertisment offers! and out of all that you are offering a $25 dollar refund thats it? im very disappointed with motel 6! you not only have rude people working representing your name but your facilities are nasty also on top of false advertisment! non smoking room
we made a reservation for a smoking room and even called the location to verify that thry had a smoking room and that we would get it and we arrived to check in and go to our room. the room they gave us was non smoking. it wouldnt be such a big deal if i hadnt gone out of my way to get the smoking room. we could have went to a different motel to get what we paid for. the lady named michelle at the front desk was very rude when we came back to try and fix the mistake they made.
health hazard
Last night, me & my fiancé booked a room @ Motel 6 in Pinole Ca for 4 nights. As soon as we checked in, we ran 2 go get food before settling into the room. When we returned, i went into the bathroom & found spots of blood on the floor. After seeing that, I went around the whole room only to find MORE blood on the walls as well as hair and stains on the blankets and gum on the bed frame and (wooden) floors had not been swept at all. When my fiancé went to tell the man working the front desk, he told my fiancé that there was nothing he could do because he didn't have anymore rooms to switch us to. He told my fiancé, "I can switch you to a different room tomorrow". I was not happy with that, so I decided to go back to the front desk myself and ask for the manager. When the manager came out, I asked for a refund or a different Motel 6 location to be transferred to. He told me that he could not refund or switch us to a different hotel, but he did give us another room but the room he gave us was also dirty (no blood though) but not very clean. Me and my fiancé had to sleep there because we had no money to be able to afford another hotel since the manager refused to give us our money back. I have photos of the blood and dirty floors and the gum. If we don't get our money back, we will have to stay there again tonight and I don't feel comfortable AT ALL sleeping there knowing that my sheets may not be clean or sanitary. Please tell me how I can get a refund for this. This is unfair treatment and we are paying $414 that we barely have for a motel that is not clean or sanitary.

This motel was very nice. The ladies working the desk were very nice. Upon check out she asked me how my stay was. I said very good except for the finger nail clippings on the bathroom floor. She apologized for that and rectified the problem by issuing a gift certificate for a future stay. I wasn't expecting that, I am grateful.

I choose Motel 6 for the pet acceptance, as I travel with my cat frequently. My issues started as soon as I tried to enter my room. The man that checked me in was not very personable and was rude to other guests I had to go to the desk 3 times as the key card would not work. I did not have a "do not disturb" sign, so had to go ask for that. The mini frig leaked all over the floor upon turning it on and did not keep things cold on the highest setting. There were cob webs in the bathroom. The toilet plugged upon first flush. The shower drain was plugged and water backed up during a shower. There was very little bathroom counter space. Was given 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. The shower head leaked where the pipe meets the shower head, and it sprayed all down the wall. The shower floor was very slippery. Also lack of water pressure because of the leak. The heater/ac unit very old, temp buttons didn't work. The TV remote didn't work well. Old unit, buttons worn and took 2-3 tries to enter a channel. The landscape was a mess. Didn't look like it has been mowed or trimmed in a couple weeks. Ants everywhere outside, due to garbage not picked up or no insecticides used. Had I not prepaid thru the booking site, I would have not stayed my full 6 nights. If there were just a couple things I wouldn't bother complaining, but this is a pretty good list!

I booked this motel site because it was a halfway point in my trip to NY from NC. I see that it is a tucked away from highway, which is great because it was quieter than most places but realized there was nothing around it like restaurants or stores in site. I drove around looking for about 45 minutes. I found a 7-eleven but not one fast food place. Upon check in the guy behind the counter was obviously new and very scruffy looking. Not a customer service image at all! He didn't know how to use my free night certificate, so check in took a lot longer than it should have. Another man was waiting behind me and there were no apologies made to him for his long wait. I got to my room, it was recently updated and seemed very nice. However, the TV screen was blurry, and some of the channels the paper printed guide said they had, weren't available. It wasn't stormy so I don't understand why some of the channels had a picture but no sound. At 2:30 am I got woken up by a very loud guest near my room. I got up to use the restroom and as I turned on the light I noticed a lot of tiny bugs and a couple small ants crawling on the bathroom floor. Before going to bed I had put down the bath mat. I picked up the mat and under neath it was covered with these tiny bugs and on the floor under it. I tossed the mat into the tub and ran hot water on it. I also took a wash cloth and got down on the floor and killed a ton of them! By then I was creeped out and awake so I got packed up, showered, and left at 4:30 am. I went to the office and was greeted by another man who was elderly and could barely walk and wasn't dressed for greeting the public either. He asked what I wanted... (NOT "how can I help you this morning?") I was upset and livid at this point. He never asked how my stay was. I had put the bug ridden wash cloth in a bag and produced it to him as I said I was checking out. He said I was all set, because I had used a gift certificate. I said to him that was a good thing that it was free because I wouldn't have paid for that experience.
So, as you can see only 1 of 3 motels I stayed in were what you claim to offer your guests. I have no intentions of ever staying at one of your units ever again and I will not recommend your places to anyone. I am very disappointed.

Motel 6 in San Marcos off of Jackson St and I-35 have horrible management. They don't do anything about the problems and sit in the make shift office on their cell phones or have male companions just sitting there. Nothing get resolved and the place is constantly dirty. Something needs to be done about the lazy people in charge. Use to be a better place to stay, but now seems like they aren't there to care for their job just to get a check. I asked to speak to the manager once shirt Caucasian lady and she avoided me and got in her black SUV and drove away the other Hispanic manager just doesn't seem to want to be involved and the housekeepers have been handling issues I feel managers need to be in charge of.

On the evening of 5/29/2018 I made an online reservation through hotels.com they screwed up the reservation and made it for Redding south instead of North. I didn't know this had happened till I went to check in after a long day with my 4 yr old little girl at 9:15 pm. The young lady informed me. She allso advised I had to call hotels. Com. This process ended taking 2.5 hours no one could figure out what to do and Ultimately I ended up Paying Motel 6 Redding North 174.68 to have to sleep in my car! I begged the lady at the register and on the phone was there anyway they could help all I had left was 30 dollars cash to my name. She said no, can't help. And "while your telling with them on the phone I'll have to ask you to go outside. I am appalled by the lake of service and care by the people you have representing your company. I have stayed in Motel 6's around the US as well as many friends and family. But I will be sure to let all know how wrongfully my child and I were treated!
housekeeping and reaction to my complaint
I stayed at your motel 1801 Embarcadero, Oakland, CA 94606, USA from May 24th to May 28th. Room 143
On May 27th I returned to my room in the evening to find that housekeeping had not cleaned my room. I am not a messy person so there was not much to do, but the half the towel I was given on the 26th were not clean so on the morning of the 27th I left all the towels on the floor to have them replace and this did not happen.
I called reception at 18:45 (06:45pm) and was asked to come to reception to collect new towels. When I arrived I was told there no towels available (!) and that it would take 5 to 10 minutes and that the towels would be brought to my room.
At 19:35 (07:35pm) I still had no towels and I was told by a male employee that they would be brought over straight away and this did not happen so at 19:45 (07:45pm) I went to reception to collect.
This totally unacceptable and not once was I offered an apology for the inconvenience caused.
I have a forthcoming booking with you from July 5th to July 12th. Why should I stay not move to the hotel next door the Best Western Plus? Convince me to stay.

toilet leaking
After finally getting our television fixed after probably two hours after check in we went sight seeing, just to come back and find our toilet was leaking (from a faulty wax ring). Brought it to the front decks attention to be told there was nothing they could do because all of the rooms are full. We had also, in the process of getting our television fixed told them that our room doom didn't close all the way on its own. The next morning we talked to the manager and asked for our room to please by mopped due to the raw sewage that leaked from the toilet was on our shoes and tracked throughout the room. We were told that the toilet would be fixed and the room cleaned. (floor mopped)
Upon arriving back to the room approximately 5 hours later to our disbelief our room door was wide open. The deck clerk said the manager was the last one to leave the room and she had gone home for the night.. I also noticed that the bed spread that had fallen on the floor was used to make the bed and not changed!. I know it was the same one because I had dripped a little mustard from my sandwich on the bed spread. I ask why was the floor not swept or mopped, the clerk did not have an answer but did say she will make a note of it. So this morning 5/29 we were going out to sitesee one last day and ran into the manager. We first let her know about how our room was not mopped. Then we let her know how our door was left open for hours the day before and she put the blame on the maid. Arrived back at the hotel around 3ish the room and the floor was finally cleaned. It took three days for things to be done the right way.

Memorial Day Weekend trip we were going to be staying one night in Sacramento. My boys ages 15-16 (3 minor boys) and my cousin their Assistant Coach Edward Bisuano were booked at the referenced Motel 6. My boys were in a basketball tournament that day and later had a dinner event to attend. As my cousin went to check in the Manager was very rude and followed by cousin and the boys up to their room. Not even 15 minutes from checking in he called them and told them they had to leave that there was too many guests and that my boys were over 18 years old.
I have 3 boys that are over 5'8" and are high school basketball students. They happen to have one extra boy from Sacramento with them that was accompanying them to the dinner. He was not staying there but the Manager insisted that they were too old and made them leave. On a very busy holiday weekend there was little to NO rooms available. I was on the phone with Expedia who I booked the room from for over 3 hours trying to find my children a place to stay with their coach. I find it discriminative and very unprofessional for one of your Managers to do that knowing the kind of weekend it was.
I have stayed plenty of times with Motel 6 with 4 of my children and myself and have never had an issue as minor children are not allowed to stay unaccompanied without an adult. I am very angered and displeased with what has taken place. I would like a response to my complaint as well.

I checked into the Motel 6 in Des Moines Iowa West on May 25th. After a 7-hour drive from Wisconsin to Des Moines Iowa I only had about a half hour to get ready for the meeting I had to go down there for check-in was very pleasant so after my meeting I came back to the hotel about 10 1030 obviously completely exhausted I finally got to bed at about 6 a.m. the fire alarms in the hotel went off your employees did a great job on running down the hallways and pounding on the doors and waking people up we were all told to go outside which we did most of us in our pajamas we stood out there for about 30 minutes or so and was told everything was okay to come back into the building so with heart pounding it was a relief to know everything was fine got back to my room to try to get some sleep went back to bed to only be awake and again at 9 a.m. by the fire alarms and people pounding on the doors again we were taken outside where we had to wait until the fire department clear the building no explanation was given to us and what was going on or why the fire alarm kept tripping we were just told it was one of those things I was not very satisfied with the way it was handled afterwards. Your staff to do an excellent job on getting everybody out of the building I commend them for that but handling the situation the second time we were pretty much aggravated and tired but we were given no restitution or explanation i'm just not satisfied with how we were treated when we wanted to know why we could not sleep and get any rest. On Thurs5/24 I booked a reservation at the motel 6 downtown Palm Springs. I am a regular patron of the same Motel6, staying several times a year, for over 10 years now. I drove 2.5 hours from San Diego, and was denied service, and told to leave the premesis! And was given no reason, and she refused to call her manager. I was left on Memorial Day weekend homeless! Luckily, I got a reservation at another Motel6 down the road. The next day I went in, the manager told me that I was banned for illegal drug use! I was blown away. Check the books, I am one of the few regular customers that arent, druggies, and homeless transient people. The manager refused to remove me from the list, told him he just lost a customer, when he couldnt guarentee I would have a room if I booked on line, and could only rent with his permission, and could have no guests over! He tried to convince me that I must have let some druggie into the room, by leaving the door open. I left, drove around very upset, went back furious, demanded an explanation, he said the housekerper told him this, and he also told me that none of his houskeeping staff speak english, when I told the housekeeper I was checked out, abd handed her the door cards. So longstory short it was my fault I let a druggie into my room, so he refused to tske me off this list, I asked why was I guarenteed a room then, he told me your system is antiquated and he can not guarentee if I booked a room I would be able to stay there because corpirate cant see who is on the dnr list! Thought about it for a while, and told him that I was almost certain I did not leave the doir open when I checked out! I also told him I take prescription medication that I use a syringe for my daily injection! He looked at me like he saw a ghost, then said he would remove me from the list, I had been going there for years! They even knew my face! I am not happy! I was denied service and treated like a criminal, because of a medical condition! After the thousands of dollars spent with your company, I want to know what you plan on doing about this, do I have a room if I book on line? Why was I treated so badly? And what are you going to do about the horrible experience I suffered due to my nedical condition? I feel I should be comped this weekends stay at the other Motel6, and I want some assurances I have a room if I book with your company! The discrimination I suffered this weekend was serious! I was denied service, told to leave the premisis, and embarrased, when I had to explain my medical condition in front if the whole place! And I am left not feeling able to book on line with any assurance again! And had to scrounge around last minute for a room, the whole time my anxiety level rose as I was worried I would have to drive back home and miss my Memorial Day Vacation!

The room was fine. The guests that live there all the time think they own the place. I was in a handicapped room fifty feet from the pool and they closed the pool at 9 pm and the screaming kids went to their room but then the adults stayed up laughing loudly til 430 in the morning. I got two hours or sleep when I checked in at 830 pm and was in bed by nine. Room 202 05/27/18. Personally I would like half the money refunded.! But I seriously doubt they will do anything about it!

My brother checked into the Motel 6 on Wednesday, May 22 at around 5pm and I got off of work at around 10pm and met him there. Upon entering the room, I tripped and stumbled. When I looked down at the floor, I saw that one of the boards of the floor was warped and peeling from the floor causing s flap that was essentially a hazard. I then noticed several other boards throughout the room warped from water damage. Due to exhaustion, I temporarily dismissed the damage. I went into the bathroom area and heard water running and thought my brother had left the shower running. I turned the knobs and realized it was just leaking. I told my brother to let the front office know first thing in the morning. In addition, I have seen several roaches in the room. I paid daily online and my brother has informed the management daily about the condition of the room and they have yet to send maintenance to look at other fix the issues.
We were told that we would receive 10% off our next night but we have not seen that reflected. Due to our financial state, this is the only hotel we can afford in the area and we have had other experiences at the same hotel that were exceptional. But this time I feel that nothing has been done to accommodate us nor fix these problems. I feel like if there is water damage then mold Is guaranteed and mold is dangerous. What can be done to rectify this situation? I feel we should be compensated not only for the state of the room, but additionally for the lack of attention this matter has received.

Well I checked into my room and first thing I noticed was that he went to the bathroom and the tub was extremely extremely disgusting the toilet also was disgusting with mold and was not close properly at all and the vanity in the bathroom was also. Disturbing my AC unit has dust and dirt all over my bed has stains on it and I have two little ones who have severe as much as such as myself and it's already begin to cause me and my son to be wheezing and we've only been here 2 hours
I am complaining about the motel staff in kalispell mt, the manager as well as the housekeeping staff.
From May 2nd to May 16th, i had a 2 queen beds room. The manager was not very cooperative in resolving my complaint about housekeeping staff. I had to ask him (Jim) to give me some compensation for two weeks of having minimal service while i was there. All he gave me was one night free. Really! The head housekeeper did as little as possible to give me any service. The only person who bent over backwards to give good service was a front desk person. (Casey) She was extremely helpful and resolved my complaints about housekeeping service. For two weeks, I did not have any housekeeper come and clean my room or give me towels without having to ask them to do it. Casey personally came and cleaned my room and made sure i had towels and anything else i needed, even though it was not her job. She deserves special recognition for going above her job description. A+ Casey. I really hope you resolve the housekeeping and management problems at this motel. Thank You!
