We wanted to find an app to make our 2 son's iPhones safe to use ie block from inappropriate sites or content, reduce screen time, block certain social media apps etc. Mspy claimed to do all this and more and after a number of live chats with sales representatives who confirmed the app could do everything we needed it to on both phones we went ahead and purchased two Premium accounts for £45 each. Upon receiving the package we were asked to pay extra for technical support. This was never mentioned prior to purchase where they had said technical support was included. We also realised very quickly that in order to do what we needed we would have to Jailbreak both iPhones and neither of their phones could do this. We had to wait until after Christmas when MSpy returned from their Christmas break and then contacted customer service who told us it was tough luck and we could do other things with the app without Jailbreak but not what we needed it to do. We informed them that we had been advised that what we bought would do what we needed it to and this was misinformation. They refunded my husbands purchase but have refused to refund mine and 2 months later I am still being refused a refund. Neither accounts were activated and remain unused. They just refuse to refund me the £45 subscription fee paid for an item I was sold by their chat sales representatives who said the subscription would do what I needed it to.
