Will not let me put in account number
I have tried and tried to put in my account number to get into the system and it keeps telling me that my account number is not long enough. I’ve called to the number and even the operator does not understand what is going on. This is not helping in anyway. I’m just going to delete the app and not be bothered by this again. Hopefully you will fix the problem. I didn’t want to give you any stars because you don’t deserve it, so for me to submit this I have to give you one star. But trust and believe I didn’t want to give you that.
3.1.8 broke the app
The new update broke the app and I can't login. I deleted the app and reinstalled and had the same issue. It kept sending me a notification to update to the new version but it had already been updated. You can't report an issue with the update because the link just takes you to Nissan's general website. This is ridiculous. It says they released it to fix bugs but this version is completely broken. I wouldn't leave a review if there were a way to report bugs on the app store but they don't give a site to reach out to the developers at Nissan.
Sending navigation doesn’t work
I just tried sending a location to my truck and it “Failed to send.” Obviously, I tried to save it and that didn’t work either.
Tried many times and even went outside and started my truck and tried a couple of times again. I even turned on Location Services on my iPhone and tried again. No good.
Even with location services off, I was able to send a location to my truck with the “old” app - NissanConnect. It worked the first time.
I’m paying for this service, so until you fix this problem in this new app, don’t retire the NissanConnect app.
Does it even exist?
This app does NOTHING. Not one single thing. When you open it, up comes a screen that says it’s name, and a login option, and a register option. If you click login, it scans my face, and returns to the login or register page. Over and over again. If you click register it reminds you that you already have an account.
Useless. None of Nissans apps work. I have to pay my bill from past emails because the app refuses to let me in. So I guess they don’t want my money either. Their connect app that lets you remote start your car, that only comes on AFTER the car is started. ? Do better Nissan.

iPhone 13 iOS 16.2
I created and logged into my account online without problems. When I went to the app all I can see is the login and create account buttons. I try to login and the face recognition pops up for saved password then disappears leaving me back at the login/register screen. I have no other option to manually login. When I tried to create an account on the app I get the error (rightfully so) stating that the email has already been registered.
Update:
I waited 24 hours and restarted my phone. The app let me in without a problem. My car information and service schedule is all available.
App never works anymore
I know this app worked at some point. Now, it doesn’t. When I try to open the app, it asks me if I want to use my saved password for it. The only option is yes or cancel. No matter which one I pick, it just leaves me at the login screen. If I force close the app a few times, the app will open and ask me to add a vehicle. When I try to add the VIN, it gives me an error about a null email address, because I’m not signed in. If I go to the Account section and try to modify my profile, it says “error contacting servers”. If I try to create a new account, it tells me my email is already in use. This app is junk.
Total Junk
This app doesn't work from the start. Like many others have stated, the app opens to a screen that asked if I'd like to use my saved password. I haven't even been able to create the account because the only two options to log in just keep circling back to the login screen. Tried to create a new account... nope, account already exists with my email. Click on account, and any other button and get the error "Something went wrong while retrieving your data." Have app issues? Hit the feedback button and get help... only I can't because I get the same stupid error message. If you can't make an app that works, do everyone a favor and don't make one!
Works when it wants
This App, I pay $8.00 per month for and it quit working. No longer tracks my cars miles, maintenance etc.remote start worked One Time. In the snow belt… I would really like to use the remote start. I called Nissan Corporate was told I’m up to date paying, car is connected & nothing is wrong. Take it up with the Dealer. Dealer has nothing to do with App…. If Nissan is going to take my money on a monthly basis… they are ones who should assist me, Not the dealer. I’m at Dealer now… if they can’t get it to work… then hey I want my money back…. Car has 5,045 miles on it. Unbelievable Nissan just doesn’t care… I have been complaining since mile 346.
Hate new app
Omg this new app i never asked to be a part of is the worst.you hear me the WORST! First off , forget trying to lock your car from the phone..swirling and swirling until finally a message cant be done or loaded or some such message. second you wont know if your doors are locked , like previous app because it would say ..locked or unlocked.so if you wanna check to see if your doors are locked .. you better do it the old fashion wAy. plus i think im paying for this 'un service'. I must have something about me that any service im paying for and not getting means oh well . no repercussions to the provider and no money back for me. next .. no im not finished.. my location .. same deal whirly swirly after some time , my car cant be located . but it can tell me where it was three weeks ago. yeah . i need some money refunded ..
EV Ariya Poor Support
If you don’t mind waiting minutes to review the status of your EV, such as battery percentage, or to even engage climate controls, then ignore this review. In this modern age, the connection experience of this app is reminiscent of using dial up. Now, some credit is due to Nissan as they recognize these issues but customers have been waiting and waiting for an update.
So, Nissan, if your listening, you need to prioritize costumer experience with software updates to improve these slow response times.
Lastly, the same should be said about the Nissan Ariya EV that uses this app. If Nissan wants to be any but competitive in this new EV market, then they need to seriously consider provisioning more frequent updates. And most importantly, listen to your customers, they are the ones using the vehicles and software and interact with it daily!
Easy, clean, helpful
I like the app. I saw I had 2 recalls on my vehicle right after I downloaded and opened the app (haven’t received mail notification or anything so this was first time I saw the recall) and it was easy to schedule with my dealer. I only wish there was integration with my financing and remote lock/unlock apps. I use all 3 apps for different reasons. I downloaded connected services first while at the dealership and was frustrated when my first payment was due and couldn’t figure out where to go. I literally googled “Nissan payments” to find the NMAC portal and app. I also paid for the first mile maintenance and ultimate protection packages but it would be nice to see those listed in the app because I don’t really remember what I even paid for or how I can use that. I think dent repair is included so I’m going to schedule that with dealer too and hopefully they find my protection package to confirm.
App does not work
When launching this app directly or through the Nissan Connect app, after logging in the app never progresses beyond the login screen. Logging into the website directly works. I have seen this I’ll behavior on both an iPhone 12Pro and 14pro and on iOS v15 & v16

Based on the developer feedback to many (or all) of the reviews commenting about the inability to log in, inquiring if the user is utilizing Autofill for the passwords - I disabled autofill of passwords in iCloud settings, the. Relaunched the app. At this point, I was presented with a login screen where I could manually enter my username and password (copied from my password manager and pasted into the app - the very same entry I was attempting to dele to select previously - and the login worked fine.
I force quit the app, re-enabled password autofill, and verified I could get back in by either launching the app directly or when running the NissanConnect app. Seems to be a bug in the apps authentication method when autofill passwords is enabled on iOS.
Broken dysfunctional Update
I don’t understand how this has such high ratings unless they’re paying people to do positive reviews. With the 3.1.8 update I started getting notifications every 30 minutes or so telling me about the great new update and be sure I had it. I did, but that didn’t stop the notifications. Next I had a notification on the app that I was unable to clear or even find. I thought ok I can deal with this if the app is a big improvement it claims to be. So I went and looked at the maintenance schedule and got the message to look at my owners manual…. Ok, so I thought I’ll uninstall and reinstall this app and hopefully the notification will clear and I’ll see what a great update this is. Now when I try to log on it asks for access to my health data, why?, So I granted it access but now the app won’t log on, it’s stuck on the login screen. I have a 2022 Nissan Titan, so I don’t have some ancient vehicle. I also have a Chevy Volt with an OnStar App, leaps and bounds superior user experience. One app instead of 2 or 3, I can see what maintenance my Volt requires and start, stop, lock, unlock all in one.

They sold me a car i don’t know how to describe it WORSE THEN A GARBGE !
i was in a hard time in my life and i had only small deposit
They sold me a car with lot of problems and they refuse to fix it,
When i came back to report problems they told me you buy it as is!
And i didn’t give up till the store manager of Nissan’s accept to fix it only if I remove my Honest review AND THAT WAS JUST THE START !
I did not feel good and taking down my honest review !

After 3 months i tried to trade my car in another nissan in Tampa and they told me you were sold a bad car has been 2 accidents in CarFax!

First day when we negotiated they show me in their computer that car is CLEAN NO ACCIDENT just like JASON BROWN who sold me the car he said many times the car NEVER BEEN IN ACCIDENT!
And now after i went back NO BODY wants to help me
I met JASON BROWN again he told me I HAD NO IDEA it was in a accident and i told him i want to speak with your manager !

VIN mapped to same user error
When I open the app, it says that no vehicles were found, even though I had previously added my vehicle and was able to see my service history before (about 1 year ago)
So, I try to add in my VIN and I get an error message saying the VIN is mapped to the same user.
Also, the “submit feedback” option within the app throws an error message.

Unable to use the app
The app constantly logged me out making me setup Face ID over and over. The last time it happened it wouldn’t let me log back in. Deleted the app and reinstalled several times and even waited a couple months to try again. Unfortunately it is still doing the same thing. Can’t login and I’m paying for the service to be able to fully use the two apps.

Nothing happens when I log in
Zero stars because ZERO functionality! I can access my Nissan on the browser, but when trying to use the app, I log in, and nothing at all happens. I just remain in the log in screen. I’ve tried to find app support but that takes me to the main website. I see lots of other people with the same problem for a couple years.. how about FIXING the problem ?!

Adding vehicle
I have been trying to add my vehicle for month now without success. Every time I try, I get a message that a case has been opened and I’ll be contacted when the vehicle is added. Obviously that hasn’t happened yet. I’d like to access the features my vehicle has but so far I have been unable to. I’ve tried contacting Nissan with this issue but I have not heard back.

Unable to add my vehicle
As others have reported, I am not able to get past the point where I add my mileage. When I enter my VIN, my vehicle is correctly identified, then I enter my mileage and get the never-ending spinning circle. As an aside, I tried going through Safari on my iPad, bypassing the app, and I get the same result. Still not able to complete the process of adding my adding my vehicle.

Why are you making me buy an audio cable??
When Nissan “upgraded” their NissanConnect app, they made the cutoff their 2018 models. I own a 2015 Xterra, so must now resort to buying a lightning to 3.5mm audio cord. Seems so very rude to ignore the needs of owners of older vehicles. My previous iPhone connected quite well to the Xterra via the older version of the app. Cannot do the same with my iPhone 13. I am NOT IMPRESSED.

Maps not working
I am not able to send directions to my Frontier like I could with Nissan Connect. I get a “failure to send” message. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app….still get the error message. Support has not been able to help I just received an email from you asking me to send. private message on Facebook but you don’t tell me who I should private message. Talk about a dark hole. Please advise.

Can’t add car
Was using the Nissan connect app which worked great. Then a message popped up that I need to use this app instead. Well it let me sign in using my old sign in, but it won’t connect my car and if I try to connect my car using the Vin number it says it’s already connected to me but none of my information is there. I can’t contact customer support because there’s no car registered. Super frustrated.

Doesn’t Work
I can locate my car through the app. I can see the status, and it updates that status in real time. But I can initiate any commands. The key fob works great, as long as I’m within 20 ft of the car. Not very useful. I have a 30 year old Camaro with factory installed keyless entry that works 500 feet away. Early 90s GM electronics that work better than modern high end electronics. That’s pretty sad.

Doesn’t work
Had the old Nissan connect worked great, then they say that one is going away and need to get the MyNISSAN app, great, download it and sign in, doesn’t show anything under my vehicle, scan VIN, tells me vehicle already exists, can’t even click on the FAQ under support tab. None of the options are available to click on. Restarted my phone, still same problem exists. Why am I paying for a service that I can’t even use?

Trash app
Why even release an app that you can’t even get as far as the log in page. A stupid cycle of requesting a new password, waiting WAY too long for a new password link to be emailed to you, resetting a password, trying to log in with the password you JUST RESET, only for it to say “wrong login credentials”
Seems like the most basic things Nissan can’t grasp when it comes to this app… pretty telling of the car brand as a whole tho…

Unable to log in
I just downloaded this app and created an account. Went to log in and was unable to do so. I received an error message that either my log in ID or password was wrong. I verified both were correct. I downloaded the app on both my IPad and IPhone and the same occurred on both devices. I would say you have not resolved the issue of users not being able to log in to their accounts. I have deleted the app and doubt I will try it again.

Even worse than before
So I’m not sure what happened, but my app finally updated today, 4/19/2023. All my data was lost, and the app won’t do anything. I had to uninstall and reinstall. Upon logging in there’s no data. When I try to add my vehicle it says vehicle mapped to same account. So it thinks my car is there, but it’s not. I can’t even reach out to app support due to the app not functioning. I’d give it zero stars if I could. It looks better but now it doesn’t function at all.

Can’t login, ever
I’ve tried installed the App for Iphone and have been unable to login. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, etc., resetting the phone, and all. This has gone on for several months. I have never been able to login. I’ve contacted customer service, who has helped me have access on the computer, and I can see everything is correct on the site. However, not having the app is brutal. It renders the whole connectivity useless. Please connect with me to help, Admin. Thanks!

Really low performer
This app works poorly at best. Sure pay my money every month to have access but most of the time the app loads slowly. There is no timer once you start your engine so you get to guess where you are at. And I can’t stay logged in — so constantly having to log back in. Once I’m logged in, it doesn’t even tell you where you parked your car. It sure doesn’t keep up with you at all. It’s telling me where my car was parked about 15 hours ago.
I liked the previous app much better.

Doesn’t work
The app won’t even log in. The credentials are correct as I just successfully logged in from the website. The app won’t leave the log in page, it just spins then stops.
Edit: just saw that the developer replied to another review for the same issue, suggesting that we disable the autofill password feature on iPhone? That is ridiculous and not a solution. I’m not going to disable the most useful security feature on my phone just to use your app. Make your app work with autofill like every other app on my phone…

Update causing vehicle remote start to activate without permission
Over the last few days I’ve noticed when I open the app the engine start on my Rogue will randomly be activated without my permission or pressing the start button. I am unsure why this is happening. I have the setting to keep me logged in set to on and I am running the app on the latest iOS software on an iPhone 14 Pro. Also it would be convenient to have other features that were prominent on the Nissan Connect Services app such as locked status, brakes, engine status, etc. Currently all I can see is tire pressure.

Concept is well intentioned but does not keep preferences
The intent behind this app is very good, and in theory, it works, but it does not work for me. It takes forever to load each and every page, it does not save your preferences when you adjust the climate to turn on at a specific time, and it changes the entire configuration of how you have your air conditioning. I did not ask for defrosting or to take off recirculation, but it did that for some reason. however, it was not even cooling the car, so that was a waste of time and battery. I’m not using it for this purpose again.
