Nalley Hyundai, caused a warranty claim to be denied due to their forgetfulness & level of incompetence. Below is the complaint I have begun in speaking with the Service Director, Stephen Reid. I also complained to Brent Gordon. They have both promised to return my call but are very slow reacting in doing so. This is the email that I sent to Service Director, Stephen Reid:
Stephen, I spoke with my extended warranty & the flywheel issue should have been detected/determined when Nalley changed the transmission & how about Nalley changed it TWICE! I came to Nalley due to this very loud noise & you’re ONLY figuring out now as a “brand new” repair? So naturally, Endurance is not wanting to pay for Nalley's oversight as a brand new repair & I am to “suffer” this? I brought my car to Nalley due this loud noise which has ALWAYS been present & this should have been detected changed/charged from the replacement of the transmission.
Between Nalley & myself, we paid Nalley over 7K (remember I did breaks, got new tires, etc.,” I asked Nalley to go over my car with a fine tooth comb & “I” within SECONDS of having my car back BOTH times showed Nalley that repairs were horrible & incomplete. I didn’t even get to the lights the 1st time around & the car was heavy & sluggish & only then am I being told the transmission was bad! THEN I get the car back the 2nd time AGAIN within seconds I am bringing it to your attention that the noise has not ceased and LOOK you are again giving me more that is STILL wrong!
I think this needs to be escalated to your corporate offices as this service is truly despicable. I mean I am unknowledgeable in this area when Nalley is supposed to be experts & I am doing all of the investigations & leg work regarding my vehicle? Bringing it back umpteen times & showing Nalley, look how do you not still see these issues that you are not resolving? This is tragically pathetic & most maddening. I mean the people repair at the dealership, who they THINK are experts to avoid mom/pop shop services like this. There is NO WAY I should have had to remain behind Nalley like this.
We need to come up with a solution Stephen, the service I have received from Nalley is beyond unprofessional & below zero. Property has gone missing from
my car while in Nalley's possession & ions of mess. I am trying to remain positive & calm, but this is coming to a head now.
