Payoff amount was $13,875.58
Payoff amount was $13,875.58. They charged me an extra $1,000! I was not happy about this. I tried to talk to them about it, but they didn't listen. They just kept saying that's the amount I owed. I don't understand why there was such a big difference between what Toyota Financial said and what Toyota of Melbourne said. It doesn't make sense to me. I feel like they took advantage of me and overcharged me. I would not recommend going to Toyota of Melbourne if you don't want to be overcharged.

Took over 1 month to get the car in for repair. Had to file 2 complaints with corporate. Shop manager had to submit 3 times to corporate. Service desk failed to respond to calls for a period of 2 weeks. After calling Toyota corporate twice, the car was taken in for repair. No communication between service desk and shop manager.

On 10/3, I got an estimate for service on my 2013 Toyota Corolla with 157,000 miles. They told me it would cost 3200,00. But when they finished the job, my bill ended up being 5,345.91. After driving home, the trac light came on. I called them and they told me to try taking the gas cap off and on. It went off temporarily, but then came back on. To make matters worse, I had just bought 4 brand new tires from them, but they left the caps off all 4 tires. On top of that, my air conditioner was blowing hot air. Turns out, there was no coolant in it and no water in the radiator. I worked hard for my money, so what did I pay for?

I went to Toyota of Melbourne on January 1st and bought a car
I went to Toyota of Melbourne on January 1st and bought a car. The dealership didn't inform me about any damage to the car. If I had known it was damaged, I wouldn't have purchased it. When I got home, I noticed that the back driver's door had various damages. As I looked closer, I found glass scattered all over the car. Even worse, my 5-year-old child was picking up glass from the back seat. This car is not safe to drive because it starts shaking at 45 mph and shakes again at 72-75 mph. Something definitely happened to this car, and the dealership is not being honest with me. It's really unsafe.

Me and my wife was buying our lease and paying off the total owed, 15,497.00 as told us online by setf.com and so we called Melbourne Toyota since we got it there, and talked with Alex S there to see if we could simply give our payoff amount check to them since they requested us to bring vehicle in to be seen 1 final time before our purchase and then we found out why. Our payoff amount went from 15,497.00 to 18,000 and their payoff on the vehicle was only 14,122.52 paid to setf.com. We want a certified check, for full refund of everything we paid above their final payoff sent to us or we will simply ask our news station to do a report on them and how they treat their disabled loyal customers. Beware out there, this is fraud! We live week to week as it is, we bought all our vehicles there and can't believe they did this to us.

I was told by Patrick W in finance that I would be purchasing a $1400 extended warranty for a used car that was good for the life of the loan of 60 months or 60,000 miles with a zero dollar deductible. When I asked the warranty department, my contract said 36 months or 36,000 miles with a $250 deductible. That's not what I signed up for. I contacted Patrick about the contract details, and he was really rude and unprofessional. He told me to either cancel it or keep the warranty as it is. I won't keep it 'as is' because that's not what we agreed on. Also, that $1400 was included in my finance charge, so interest is calculated on the full amount. If I cancel it, I'll only get 94.4% of the warranty charge. I want at least 100% of the purchase price for the warranty or the warranty to be fixed as we agreed. Patrick is a liar and a thief.
I didn't have a contract to buy a new car, but they said they could get it for me
I didn't have a contract to buy a new car, but they said they could get it for me. I put a deposit down, but now the manager won't give it back. On June 15, I was dealing with a salesperson named Jose G, who was a really nice guy. He didn't have the "Highlander" car I wanted, but he said he could get it from another dealer. The manager, whose name I don't know, told me to leave a deposit and he would get the car. Jose called me on June 17, and said the car would arrive. I told him I was busy and to only text me a copy of the sales quote work order. I also asked for Melbourne Toyota's banking information so I could wire the money. I was very clear that they shouldn't call me. Three hours later, I got a voicemail from the manager asking for my email. You should never email banking account and routing information because emails can be intercepted. On June 18, at 7:56am, I sent the salesman a text telling him to cancel and return my deposit. He said he spoke with the manager, but they refused to refund my deposit, which I made on a ***. Now it's in dispute.
I bought a 2021 Toyota Corolla new from Toyota of Melbourne in October last year
I bought a 2021 Toyota Corolla new from Toyota of Melbourne in October last year. I keep having the low tire pressure light coming on. The car has less than 5000 miles on it and no damage to any tires. When I take it to the dealership to have it checked, they service it with regular compressed air. The car was bought from the factory with Nitrogen inflated tires. I have a sticker on the windshield that says to fill only with Nitrogen. I have green caps on the valve stem that indicate Nitrogen. The factory sales sticker that was on the car showed a premium price for Nitrogen-filled tires. I'm being told by the service manager that they only use regular air in the tires and don't ever use Nitrogen. I paid a premium for this and the car is still under warranty. In my opinion, this is fraud and misrepresentation in advertising. They are charging customers a premium price for adding Nitrogen but only put in regular air. My complaint and resolution in this matter is that I paid for a product I didn't get. I want my tires serviced with what I paid for and what was sold under warranty.
I took my 2019 Tacoma to Toyota of Melbourne right away when my check engine light turned on
I took my 2019 Tacoma to Toyota of Melbourne right away when my check engine light turned on. I'm a professional and a mom, I drive the truck gently and take good care of it. After $800 in checks, they said I need a whole cylinder head replacement that costs $8000. They told me it's a common problem with this truck and I should call Toyota customer care to see if they'll cover it even though I'm only 900 miles over my 60k power train warranty. I did that and they approved $2500 of waived services and said they'll send it to the regional director for the rest to be approved. I didn't hear from them for a few days so when I called back, they said full coverage wasn't approved and they didn't get an authorization code for the $2500 they already promised, so I have to call back and start over. This has been the worst customer service experience and I'll definitely tell everyone not to buy a Toyota from this dealership or trust them with their services. My truck is still at the shop, only 900 miles over the warranty, and not getting fixed for something that shouldn't have broken at this point in the vehicle's life. Hopefully Toyota considers recalling this since I was told it's a "common" issue for this model. Don't buy the 2019 Toyota Tacoma or maybe think twice about buying any Toyota, they don't seem to care about their customers.
I bought a used Toyota Rav-4 on Thanksgiving weekend 2020 with my father-in-law
I bought a used Toyota Rav-4 on Thanksgiving weekend 2020 with my father-in-law. After a lot of back and forth and working with Patrick in the finance department, we were told that if we added a 100,000 mile maintenance agreement, my used car would be covered bumper to bumper for the first 100,000 miles. I asked Patrick many times to make sure this "maintenance agreement" covered the first 100,000 miles, not just a limited time. At the time of purchase, my car had about 54,000 miles, so this was a big selling point for me and my father-in-law. We were told, "I usually don't push for this, but it's a great deal. You can't go wrong. There's 24-hour roadside assistance, free rental vehicles, and more." Now my car is in their service department waiting for me to approve payment for repairs. How is this possible? I've only owned this car for less than 2 years and put less than 15,000 miles on it. I just need some general tuning up and a fan replaced because it's making a terrible noise. Everyone I've talked to says my manufacturer warranty is expired. Well, yes, it's a 2015 car. I want my maintenance warranty to be honored. It's the warranty that made us decide to buy the car. I want what Patrick promised me and my father-in-law. We paid extra for the 100,000 mile coverage. I just want them to keep their word. I'm a teacher and a mom of twins, so I really need my car. I wouldn't have made this purchase without the reassurance that we would be taken care of and our maintenance agreement would be honored. This is my first time needing repairs, and I haven't put many miles on the car. I just want them to honor our agreement. Depending on how they handle this issue, I don't think I'll be recommending this dealership to my friends and family in the future.
