Nationwide Parking Services On 3/6/22, I parked in one of the company's parking lots in *** and paid for a whole day of parking

On 3/6/22, I parked in one of the company's parking lots in *** and paid for a whole day of parking. The company says I only paid for a certain number of hours and was 21 minutes over. So, they charged me $80 for supposedly being 21 minutes over. I tried many times to explain this, but nobody would get back to me quickly or remove the charge. It got sent to a lawyer's office for collections, and they also didn't get back to me quickly or remove the charge. I want my $85 back ($80 charge and $5 credit card/handling charge).

Nationwide Parking Services On the day I parked at ***, I paid for 2 hours as instructed

On the day I parked at ***, I paid for 2 hours as instructed. But later, I got a notice from National Parking Services saying I didn't pay, and they even sent pictures of my car and license plates leaving the lot. I called them and they gave me an email to show proof of payment. So, I sent them screenshots of the charges on my debit card for that day. After a few days, they emailed me back saying the notice would be "voided". But now, I got another Notice saying I still owe them and it's "IN COLLECTION".

Nationwide Parking Services The transaction happened on 6/28

The transaction happened on 6/28. Me and my hubby paid $13.30 for a whole day parking spot in ***, at ***. Today (9/3), I got a *** from the car rental company *** asking us to cough up $80 for a "parking violation" by Nationwide parking services, plus an extra $30 for the handling fee. When I called to talk to someone from Nationwide Parking Services, they said we had only 10 minutes *** from when we entered the lot to pay for parking, and they claimed we took longer than that. Then, they just hung up on me. I called again and got hung up on three more times. The plate was BHQZ71. The violation number is NW005379.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

  • While Nationwide Parking Services has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 8 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • Nwprk.com has relatively low traffic compared to other websites, it could be due to a niche focus, but could also indicate a potential lack of traffic and popularity. The nwprk.com may offer a niche product or service that is only of interest to a smaller audience.
  • Nationwide Parking Services protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.

Nationwide Parking Services I parked in downtown Denver on 10/1

I parked in downtown Denver on 10/1. I drive a big SUV, so the first spot didn't fit. It took me a while to find a spot where I wouldn't block others. I was on a work call and finished it before going to pay. After waiting for a few people to pay at the kiosk, I decided to try paying online. I paid $20 for overnight parking, which seemed like a good rate. However, I got a bill for $80 because I went past the grace period for payment. They didn't even tell me how long the grace period is. I disputed it, and they offered to lower it to $35. If I hadn't paid for unlimited parking at a fixed rate and was paying by the hour, maybe this would make some sense. But I supposedly went past the grace period from the time I entered the lot. It feels like they're trying to find a new way to make people pay more.

Nationwide Parking Services I paid for parking on May 22

I paid for parking on May 22. I got a credit card statement to check the transaction. On May 28, they mailed me a notice of violation (Notice number: ***). On June 21, I sent an email copy of the credit card statement to check the transaction. On July 9, I got a collections letter from their attorney (***) I tried to solve the issue again over the phone on July 14; at that point, they told me a credit card statement wouldn't work. I tried to contact Nationwide Parking to get a transaction record based on the credit card number. The phone number on the website just redirected me to the collections agency, who didn't have a phone number to contact the company directly. They've set up a loop system to stop customers from reaching them directly, hoping that people will pay false fines to end the frustration.

Nationwide Parking Services On January 12th, I paid for a whole day of parking at the *** Nationwide parking lot

On January 12th, I paid for a whole day of parking at the *** Nationwide parking lot. When I got back at 5pm, there was an $80 ticket on my windshield. I reached out to the parking company and spoke with Suzanna. She told me I paid at the wrong machine and that the alleyway between the parking lots belonged to different companies. Suzanna said I could settle the ticket by paying a reduced amount of $20. I explained that I had already paid at the correct machine, but she insisted I was mistaken. She claimed that even though the machines and parking lot signs were identical, they were actually separate companies. She refused to cancel the ticket, which made me really mad. So, I decided to call 311 and file a complaint. Brooke B, who is an EXL Business License Inspector II, responded and looked into the matter. She confirmed that the city license indicated that both lots were owned by the same company. It seems like this company is taking advantage of its own customers, and their Google reviews (1 star) show that this has been an ongoing problem.

Nationwide Parking Services On 06/05, I parked in the ***, Denver CO lot and I paid for all day parking

On 06/05, I parked in the ***, Denver CO lot and I paid for all day parking. I got a ticket in the mail on 06/21 for $80.00, but had no ticket on my car. The ticket says my parking expired, but I paid for All Day, and there was no sign saying they would ticket at a certain time if payment was for All Day Parking. I checked my bank records and confirmed I paid for the parking, then I contacted the company. A guy from Nationwide parking services told me he could lower the ticket to $60.00. I asked him how that helps me and he said, "Well, most people just pay it instead of going through the appeal process." I said, "No, I won't pay for this because I paid for my time to park in this lot." I sent an appeal to a third party company (***), but the Nationwide parking employee didn't want to help me more than reducing the ticket cost. This has happened so many times with this company. When will it stop?

Nationwide Parking Services I got a letter from a lawyer saying I owe money to Nationwide Parking ***

I got a letter from a lawyer saying I owe money to Nationwide Parking ***. They say I didn't pay for parking on June 29, and now I owe $80. But here's the thing, I wasn't even there! I was in *** that day, but I parked in a different lot, not the one they're talking about. I used a different parking company called ***. I have proof of my payment for that lot, and even Google maps can show you where I was. I left the lot at 6:50 P.M. and got home at 8:09 P.M. So there's no way I could have been on that street at 18:54 like they're saying. This company is trying to scam me with these fake fees.
