bus. driver
Today on 7/16/18 at 9:55pm on the 107X to ivy Hill departure : Port Authority Bus Terminal bus 5422, the bus driver was very rude and unprofessional. I insterted $3.00 and showed my 2 zone bus card. He than started yelling at me saying that I cannot use my NJ TRANSIT MONTHLY BUS CARD. I told him I was never told that before by any bus driver, which I have rode the 107 several times to NJ. He was very rude by saying, " You cannot do that and said You can't make up my your own rules". I walked away and went to sit down because I was not going to entertain his unprofessional behavior. I witnessed other passengers using their NJ monthly bus card, so I do not understand his behavior. He should be held accountable because this is unacceptable.
Thank you
P.S. I can be reached at+[protected]

bus service # 59
I work in the prudential district of downtown Newark and had to take care of some banking at Santander Bank located across from Newark City Hall. On July 6, 2018 @ approximately 10:07am, I caught the bus to the bank with no problem. There was a need to catch the bus due to this uncomfortable/unbearable weather. Things were going well the #30 bus to me to William street and I walked to the bank with no customers. So things were going great. Approximately 10:22am I was making my return trip back to work I saw that there was a bus I guess it was down by Lincoln park so I started to run because I know the closest bus stop in at 838 Broad in front of Newark Finance Dept. The bus is on its way so I'm running and I'm across William street passing the front entrance of the Marriott with hand out and the bus #5645 just keeps going and the passes the bus stop and lets 3 passengers off the bus at the light of Branford Place at the hotel. What is this all about ? why is the bus stopping there? why are customers playing cat and mouse with the buses in this weather? I am so sure that this discourteous act is not the first. I thank god that I drive and I hope and pray for those who rely on the unsavory service that is provided.
buses obstructing garage exit
The reason that I am sending in my Feedback is that every day I get stuck waiting as I exit the parking garage by 30 N. Dean St. in Englewood New Jersey because the buses do not pull up fully to the bus stop and block the entrance an/ or exit of the garage. Today it was the 166. I'm not sure if other bus numbers run through there but that is the one that I took the photo of today. The bus stop is on the corner but the drivers should be pulling up further as not to obstruct traffic exiting the garage. I can see this happening once in a while but it is a daily occurrence. This particular driver also made his next stop in the middle of the road; not pulling closer to the side of the next Dean st stop. Resolution to this would be much appreciated thank you for your time.
bus 133 from ny port authority to aberdeen
7/2 skipped 6:45 pm and 7:05 pm buses. Passengers had to wait almost an hour to get on bus to go home. If you want to earn extra money from cutting bus running, please let passengers know advanced so we can stay at office to do some extra work instead of standing almost an hour to wait for the bus.
Other routes buses were continuing to come except 133 bus.
Skipped two buses is not acceptable.
bus route 119 stop #20621
First, Thank you for sending more busses. Please schedule them further apart.. this morning there was a bus at 8:56 and at 8:59. Then not another one until 9:19 and 9:28.
The 8:56 bus was filled with people standing, the bus right behind was less than 20 people all the way to the City.
I know it takes time to iron out wrinkles, but compared to NJ Transit service on Kennedy Boulevard East there is a long way to go. Our neighborhood is up and coming... more and more people moving in. Please keep adding support with more busses - especially on Sunday's... there is NO 119?
Leaving Port Authority is also just a headache - the busses consistently run late on almost every evening.
Thank you for your hard work and help!
Sincerely,
Rhesa Richards
njt morris and essex lines cancellations
Yesterday we were scheduled for a train from Ny Penn to south orange nj at 2:11. When we arrived at Penn station the board indicated the train was cancelled. We were not alerted prior to leaving our apartment. Then we had the same problem when we set out to take a 8:57 pm return train from south Orange station to Ny penn. This was most inconvenient! And to add to our problems, one of the njt conductors told us to get out At seacaucus when we boarded the north east corridor train at 2:14 so we could head to our destination. Your agents are giving the wrong advice as we found out when we got out In seacaucus Info desk. They said we should have gone to Newark penn station, not seacaucus.
409 route 130
Yes today is Saturday I was waiting on Taylors Lane and Route 130 in front of the bus shelter and the bus number 409 was supposed to stop around 3:30 I don't know the exact time but that driver drove right past me like I didn't even exist it's sweltering hot out now I have to wait another hour for the next bus because it's Saturday. This is just another example of why it's harder for white people these days because I'm sure that's the reason that motherfucker rode right past me and if nothing is done about it I will go all the way to the motherfuking top
bus driver
As I was exiting the NJ Turnpike on June 28, 2018, onto Highway 1 & 9, a NJ Transit bus proceeded to cut over two lanes to the left, cutting me off, and almost ran me off the road. If i hadnt stopped fast enough my car wouldve been crushed and pushed off of the highway. I honked my horn and then drove up alongside the driver and she then gave me the middle finger continuously until we split up and I proceeded onto Haynes Ave. If I did this to a customer at my job, or even just in front of customers, I would immediately be fired. This woman bus driver almost killed me and then to top it off flipped me off, clearly not caring. Usually I wouldnt complain about something like this, as to not get someone fired, but she deserves it. She is a clear danger on the road and unprofessional about it. The bus number was 7266, and it was approximately 4:20 pm, and she was a female driver.
nj transit ticketing app for iphone
To Whom It May Concern:
I used the NJ Transit ticketing app on several days this past week to purchase NJ Rail tickets. Instead of purchasing tickets through the USAA Debit Card I had on file, the app funded the purchase through PayPal instead, causing me to incur 3 x $38 in overdraft fees over the course of the week when funds came out of a different account than intended.
I would like if NJ Transit could look into my account profile and understand what caused the error, as well as refunding these fees.
Kind regards,
Jamie
bus route 48
It seems that NJ Transit provides the riders of Bus 48 (Elizabeth -- Woodbridge -- Perth Amboy) a pseudo Route Schedule for the only purpose of "official" use (translation: to secure government/agency financial support) as Bus 48 only consistency is being late, regardless of the day and time on the printed/on-line schedule.
Today (as most of my days) I arrived at the station twenty (20) minutes before the projected schedule (12:23p). It continues to amaze me how such abuses can take place on a daily basis.
The intention was to not miss the bus so that I could make it to work prior to 1:00 pm; knowing how bad the system is, I have accustomed myself to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the bus projected schedule. One or about 1:01 pm, the 12:23 finally arrived.
I have kept myself from making a complaint so many times before... but today... do you understand how much people who depend upon public transit are hurting? The wasted time (nearly a full hour of wait) is not as bad as the loss of a job; yet, it seems that NJ Transit's fat cats are quite happy with the moneys with witch they line up their pockets to care for the average joe/jill and the bus drivers seem to get a kick out of arriving late, packing buses, and running back-to-back as if they were playing a tormentor's version of leap-frog.
I can understand if the schedule has been changed. If it has, just simply make a general announcement and change it on the on-line format so that people who depend on Route 48 may adjust to the changes. But to simply keep phantom periods on the hourly schedule is quite calloused and distressing. Please, remove the phantom periods or trained your drivers to keep the route/s' schedule!
Sincerely,
A. Valentine
PS: Why does the automated system announces the stop on Columbia PL and St. W. Georges if your drivers do not stop there?
81l from bayonne to exchange place - employee # 39790
6/20/18 The #39790 is inside the bus. We got on @ 32nd & Ave C @ 3:39pm. My daughter got off @ 37th & Ave C . The light was yellow. It turned red and she started to cross only the bus started to go and almost hit her. The driver tried to go through the light. When I was exiting the bus after I asked what color was the light when you almost hit her and he said yellow. I told him yellow means be prepared to stop not to run through the light. He said he could've still made it and that's why he tried to go. He told me I needed to teach my daughter to stay on the sidewalk. I told him he needed to learn how to drive because once she got off the bus she was on the sidewalk and proceeded to go when the light turned red. None of the pedestrians on the sidewalk knew this bus driver was going to continue to run through the light. After going back and forth w/the driver I told him I was going to file a complaint. He was not apologetic that he almost hit my teen in the least but extremely defensive because he was in the wrong. After getting off the bus he continued to shout at me w/the door open and as he went to pull off he almost rear ended a Gray Grand Cherokee. He was looking at me and shouting as he was pulling off and not on at the road. He needs to apologize and retake drivers safety class. Yellow means to be prepared to come to a safe stop before the pedestrian crosswalk and if you can't proceed w/caution. He was at a full stop and then still tried to go when the light turned red.
nj transit bus driver
On Wednesday, at 1:02pm I was standing waiting in line for the NJ 403 Transit Bus to the Voorhees Town Center. I was smoking a cigarette when the NJ 403 Bus came up to the stop. The bus driver opened the door and I asked if she was going to the Voorhees Town Center. She said yes and said I can smell your cigarette from here. I calmly told her I was putting it out. I bent down and put it out and once I did that she slammed the door in my face and left and drove off leaving me by myself to wait for another bus. Another bus did not come until a half hour later while it was 90degrees outside.
train service
There are not enough seats on the 6:46 AM out of Matawan to NY Penn. if you are going to cut train derive for positive position control work, make sure there are enough seats on other trains. Paying full fare and having to stand everyday is BS. I am sure the news would love to see this.
Please improve planning and add additional cars to allow for more seating.
schedules not followed
This is ridiculous. Its bad enough i have to leave 2 hrs before i have to be at work when my job is technically only 20 min away. I go to the bus stop at least 10 min before scheduled time only for it to not show up. Wait another 20 min still no bus. Bus #10. So i go to the lite rail. That doesnt show til 15 min after scheduled time. Whats the pount of a schedule if its not going to be followed. When busses or trains cant follow shechule it causes people to miss their next bus or train that is potentially on schedule. Causing peiple to be late for work. Employers dont want to hear that the bus or train was late or never came. So when someone loses their job cuz someone couldnt do theirs, its not right. Whos gonna pay that person bills and feed theie kids. Of course not nj transit. They dont care. This is all the time too. I shouldnt have to leave 3 hrs early because nj transit cant follow a schedule. A schedule they make and people rely on. Its not right. If you're short staffed hire more people. Theres plenty of people who wpuld love to work and actually do their job
intentionally skips stop
I take the bus every day to work and this drive at 11:40 am constantly misses my bus stop. He intentionally clears the signal off the monitor and then when i try to hit the signal to stop the signal will not go off. This is the fourth time hes done this. Its a 59 bus driver who drives the 59 at 11:40 am towards dunnel or Westfield. He asks me when was i going to say something to him to stop the bus thats not my job its hia job to pay attention to the signal. And because of this i been getting to work late.
bus 780 to englewood
To whom it may concern:
For the last six months or so this particular bus driver has been harassing my 80 yrs. old mom. My mom complained to us several times but today she was scared. Not only did the driver say she was old and stupid, he took her off course and she called terrified.
This driver picked her up in the past several times (around 1:p.m) and made all kinds of comments about her being old. My mom gets on the bus on Teaneck Road about 1 p.m. daily, he is not always the driver but every time he sees her he is very rude. Today he again he took her off coarse and she had to walk to Grand Ave - where she normally gets off. Apparently he should turn down Dean Street to get to Grand Ave, when he does not turn it takes her to Engle Street where she then has to walk to Grand Ave.
This man must stop harassing my mother because she is old; she is not stupid and still works today! She totally depends on taking the bus at this time so this must STOP immediately. My mom does not have this problem with any other driver but this young Afican driver in his fifties or so… She is now very scared that this driver looks at her in an intimidating way and verbally is abusing her and she feels he might physically hurt her. Again this must stop! I am writing you so you can do something about this issue, before taking this matter in my own hands with this driver.
Concerned Son.

denied loading of bike
This latest episode happened about 2 weeks ago, I am waiting at the end of the extended side platform with my bike, I can see the operator sees me standing there and instead of pulling up ahead of the doorway so I could have access to the side of the bus to load my bike, he stops short and even with the platform doorway cutting off access to the side of the bus and starts to load up. While standing there waiting for loading to finish, I can see him glance over to see me standing there, so I know he is aware of me, then he finally finishes loading he simply proceeds to ignore me, closes the door, starts moving forward, then looks right at me and points and accelerates off, wtf?, I motion to the starter two platforms over because he had witnessed me standing there the whole time and then the operator leaving me standing there, but too little too late, he said he called dispatch, for all the good that was going to do. This is the second time I am reporting this officially but the fifth time this has happened now.
It was a 163 ikea-paramus out of the port authority at 42nd. Street on 05/31/18 around 12:15 pm bus number 7513, I have attached a photo of the so called operator and a minute and a half edited video taken with my helmet-cam.

bus driver’s tardiness and lack of respect empathy and customer service
#90 bus arrived at 2:05 at Bruen & Springfield Ave in Irvington
The bus # 6382 Operator# 483120
When I boarded the bus I asked wether this particular bus is the 1:54pm bus. The driver responded "It's a bus that you caught. You're on a bus so..." I said to him "I'm asking because I'm catching a connecting bus." He waved his hand and stated "I don't know what bus this is." I said to him "You're on your job with a schedule but you don't know the schedule?" He waved his hand again and said "I don't know, I don't know."
I have a riding the 168 bus for years, Please do something about this bus not showing up. This is an NJ bus system and on Queenann RD this bus is sometimes late in the morning. I will lose my job because of this bus. You have some drivers that come on time, then you have some drivers that don't care. Coming home from work from the Bergen town center some buses don't show up. I feel you need a supervisor on this route to fix this problem. Some of the bus drivers on the 168 are very rude and don't care. The lady in the morning route is very rude. We need another bus on Queenann Rd to and from Paramus.
BUS #7758
Route 114
To Port Authority
Time 8.30
Location the toll before Union City
The driver remain in a very long line at the toll for 10 mins when there were many other empty tolls. Because she had to operate her phone. I am now very late for work because of her selfishness
