train service out of hoboken
NJ Transit service has steadily declined over the years.
Everyday trains are late, tracks are not operating correctly, you name it.
I have been sitting on ab train outb of Hoboken for almost 30 mins! Who knows what's wrong now? If we have to pay so much for this service, get it together NJ Transit!
Its 2018 and there is no reason for this neverending lack of good machinery and equipment that cause this horrible service.

This is the second time the bus driver did not stop or even go by my bus stop. I tried to tell the bus driver that he was supposed to make a turn but NOOOO he would not listen. Even other passengers were telling him. When I got off the bus and had to walk an extra 1/2 mile, in the bitter cold I saw 2 people waiting at the bus stop that he would not stop at. They were not happy either since they saw the bus drive on by. I pay WAY too much money for the buses to not stop at the regular bus stops, being late or not even showing up. Unfortunately, the NJ Transit is the best way for me to commute into NY. I just wish the customer service was significantly better!

Hello City of Edison - is this the type of service that you're expecting of your employees? I'm appalled that we pay for a service and this is what we get?
The driver of bus 801 is absolutely rude and demonstrates no customer service skills. Here is a list of the "great" services he provides:
1. Pass customers at the bus stop because he can't see them. You would think he would slow down just a bit and look!
2. He complains whenever I board the last bus. He's said I waste his time and asks why I'm not taking an earlier bus.
3. He pulls off before I've properly exited the bus.
4. He's always late and drives very unsafe.
I'm sure I'm not the first to provide feedback and I'm very concerned that it's notbeing addressed.
Yes, it is absolutely true. Everyday he will skip a trip. Now I am in station stop. He skipped the trip now. Also I had the same experience when I get last trip. He asked me you are coming in last trip. Worst service and bad attitude.
756 bus to englewood and 756 to garden state plaza
THE WORST, I understand that the holidays are here, traffic, etc. I get it. two weeks ago(twice in the same week) I had waited THREE HOURS in 20•weather. For a 15min ride to go home from the G.S.P. next day, I had waited 2hrs for a ride to G.S.P. was 1hour late for work.Today another 3HRs for a ride home. ALSO last week our bus driver had hit a car and left! At riverside mall! This driver is ALWAYS pissed off and drives insane, he is rude and has no remorse, slamming the breaks like what..? Who are you guys hiring here man? I don't have time for this drama. I need to rely on this bus! I have no one! I need you 756!

injury by aggravated bus driver
I was getting onto the 190x on 12-14-17 at 8pm bus # 7647 route 847, as I was getting onto bus the bus driver shut the doors as I was entering bus I had to pull my arms out as he started to drive away while my arms was caught on doors. I would like to have this rude bus driver reprimanded or fired. I was injured. If this is the kind of rude people you hire then shame on you NJ Transit.
i'm complaining on the bus #1 via chapel street
The bus number #1 Via Chapel Street, the number that is inside the bus would be #6387, at around 6:50am I was handling a bus ticket that I purchase on the light rail and I bought it with transfer that way I could used it in the train and the bus to get to work. The bus driver which was a female didn't want to take the ticket because it was already stamped, but if I'm not mistaking if I didn't stamp the ticket, then I would receive a ticket in the light rail. I had to pay $1.60 on the bus which i wasn't supposed to. I want this to get fix since most of the driver do take my bus ticket being stamp, except the one for today on 12/14/17 at 6:50am.
bus 52 at 6:59 pm never came.
I am highly upset because I was standing outside in the freezing cold waiting for Bus 52 which NEVER CAME!. Bus 52 at the intersection of Morris Ave and Green lane across the street from Kean University NEVER CAME. It is unprofessional how NJ Transit hire bus drivers that doesn't come to bus stops that they're suppose to come too. The bus was suppose to come at 6:59pm then changes to 7:01pm then it never came. Highly upset!

Transit drivers bring their personal problems on the job while driving and put the public in danger. I was standing at an intersection when the driver made a sharp turn carelessly impacting and scraping my vehicle. When I alerted the driver she fail yo exit the bus to see what was happening, instead she left the scene of the accident. Now what kind of person with a bus full of people flee the scene of an accident.

I'm a 26 year old male that manages a restaurant in all 3 of its locations; Hoboken, Ramsey & Carlstadt (Rutherford). The pass couple of weeks, trains I've been trying to catch has been delayed/canceled which leads me to be late for duty. I've gotta say, I've never dealt with this much trouble making it to work or even getting home. Today is a perfect example: 5:15p train from Rutherford to Hoboken (canceled) 12:40a train from Hoboken to Rutherford (canceled). I would've got to work at 5:40 instead I've made it at 6:30 by catching an Uber & spending an extra $20. Now (1:39a) conductors told me to take the Main Line to Kingsland where I would have to request another Uber to get home instead of walking.
I never waste my time complaining. This message is just more of me being concerned. How often is this going to happen now? I'm lucky that all 3 of the locations I work at are NJTransit friendly. I rely on you guys and hope these issues won't continue.

I am livid to find out that my mother is being harassed by one of your drivers. He continuously has left her at the stop at Polito Ave in Lyndhurst heading to NY, that arrives there at 4:15. He has made comments she doesn't fully understand but she knows he is mocking her and her coworkers by the snickering from fellow passengers. Today he made her pull out her ID to verify her identity for her senior citizen card. She said he told her that wasn't her name to which she felt the need to say "Sir I am a citizen, why do you bother me?" After word he stayed silent and handed her back her identification. This is unacceptable behavior by anyone but especially someone who is paid to provide a public service. He is not suppose to pass his, what are beginning to feel like racist behaviors to his passengers. She wasn't able to get his name just his bus number (9031) that picked up passengers at Polito ave heading to NY at 4:15. I have her co workers and fellow passengers now documenting his behavior. If this continues I will take legal action.

On Saturday December 2, 2017, at 9:20pm my bus stop number 28734, did not stop at the scheduled bus at the time indicated. I stood yelling for the bus driver to stop the bus, I was even trying to get her attention with my phone . It was lit and I was waving it at her. For some reason she had tunnel vision, and continued looking straight.
She did stop at the previous bus stop, but drove right pass me without turning head at all.
She caused me to be late for work, this is the second time I had a problem with your drivers and or buses .
How do you compensate customers for drivers [censor] mistakes.
I do not expect anyone to answer this complaint because you never do.
The 3:15 119 Bus twice passed up my daughter up while she stood in the street waving him down! The 1st day was Friday April 13th & today Monday April 15th 2018! The driver she said looked right at her and kept on driving! She said it was the same driver both times.

This Bus driver of the Bus below cut me off, she was in one lane at 3:30 ish coming out of Atlantic City where she was on the inside lane at the expressway light entrance unto expressway, and I was on outside and when light changed the Bus driver pulled straight across to the outside lane almost running me into the medium and then proceeded to drive in two lanes with no regard to safety and she didn't use her blinker almost killed me. I drove for Transit before and know she was wreckless.

I was on bus 7557 to Trenton, driven by C. Gallman, on the morning of Nov. 29th, somewhere around 7:40am, when the driver brought up Matt Lauer's being fired from the Today show due to allegations of sexual misconduct. He was talking to another passenger for a good ten minutes on the subject, expressing his opinion that most these men being accused are probably innocent and that they deserve the chance to fight the allegations. That these women are coming out of the woodwork just for attention because if they were really assaulted they would've come out when it happened.
This is not the kind of ignorant conversation I want to be forced to sit through on my morning commute. It's completely inappropriate. And honestly, I don't feel very safe knowing that I may be alone at some point with someone who has this kind of opinion of sexual assault.
aggressive driving
At around 6:00 pm November 28 Southbound off the Lincoln Tunnel heading to NJ Turnpike, Bus # 2720 of NJT forced me to break hard in order to avoid a collision with this bus when it's driver aggressively merged into my lane coming from a right lane. The right lane and my lane were merging into one. I was ahead of this bus but rather than nerfed behind me it accelerated to get in front of me causing me to break. Soon after the driver changed lanes again to its left cause the driver on my left to break hard to avoid him. The driver of the car honked his horn at the bus. A few seconds later the bus driver changed lanes again moving to the far left lane. So in a matter of less than 30 seconds, this bus driver changed two lanes almost causing two accidents.

I ride this route and the 21 4 days a week since October. Today was the first day that a driver have me a hard time for the fare. I always pay 1.55 with no complaint today the driver wanted to push the issue. I understand there are different fare amount for different zones and what not but of the many times I've taken this route this is the only driver to give me a hard time. I only carry the amount I need to travel exact change nothing more. Please make sure all drivers are on the same page when instituting fare so all are treated equal.

I can't believe how this buses do whatever they want with our time. They're supposed to pass at specific time.. I understand that sometimes the traffic, weather can delayed the buses, but this is ALL THE TIME. They're supposed to pass at 10:15 and get to your destination at 10:40 and the pass a 10:30 and obviously you're late. Its so frustrating because they don't care if you are late or not. The worst part is that it's almost the only bus company here. Would be awesome if you guys can star be more serious with your job and thinking that you are giving a service and you must have to keep the people happy.

Whoever drives Bus number 94 (6461)with license plate number OYA-7989. Has no business driving for your company. This person is a liability. Just because they drive a bus doesn't mean they get to bully people on the road. I was almost ran into oncoming traffic today by this bus and I had my infant in the car. A couple of minutes afterwards they cut off the person in front of me. Please take disciplinary measures before this person causes a serious accident.
154 express bus 8:05 am
I am compiling about bus 154 the 8:05, the bus driver is driving locally when the bus at that time should be express into port authority bus terminal.
Today the driver was driving bus# 5214.. We did not arrive in port authority until 9:45, . The traffic was not heavy it was pretty normal. There was no need to arrive that late.
I have to say I've taken this bus with this driver multiple times already and is always the same issue.
Passengers always question her about why she is driving and express bus locally.
It slows the whole ride down.

Hope this finds you well. I am currently on the nj Transit northeast corridor train which has left New Brunswick station at 8:01. When my fare was collected I had my Ticket out for inspection. I normally travel from dunellen so my ticket is dunellen to nyPenn. With an attitude, your female conductor raised her voice demanding my ticket. I showed her my monthly pass which was situated in my hand. SHe told me I owed her $2.00 and some change. Surprised to me since I distinctly remember nb commuting as less expensive than dunellen I kindly asked for the cost of the one way ticket from nb which she blew off, demanding I pay the fee. I paid the money to which she had to give change. She simply held her hand out with my change not making an effort to lean forward so I could easily grab it (across another passenger seated next to me) I had to lean forward and grab like any person would. this is when she told me "you don't have to snatch it lady" I commented that I was leaning over. She gave me the receipt in the same manner without making any effort so I had to lean again. She comments again " you don't have to snatch. You're so rude". As a paying customer for the past 5 years of NJ TRANSIT I expect for your workers to treat your passengers with my respect and kindness. Her behavior was unacceptable and I will Be escalating this complaint as I do not feel safe nor comfortable knowing you are employing workers who are calling your paying customers rude - and trying to teach a lesson when they are in the wrong. Greatly would appreciate a response at your earliest.

the morning driver of bus 9520 at around 8:15am is very rude. 11/10/2017 i️ was waiting to get on the bus to take my daughter to school the lady driver shut the door in our faces. 11/13/2017, a rainy morning, the same driver shut the door in our faces again and left us standing outside in the cold rain one person got on the bus before us, as soon as we got to the door, it shut and she drove off. i️ do not like how i️ was treated for 2 days by this driver while i️ was with my young daughter trying to get her to school on time.
This bus driver is rude and unprofessional and should be reprimand and or fired.
