Absolutely useless.
Time to sell NZ post and open it up to competition.
Missed delivery card tells me to goto website to get it redelivered, do that and doesnt even recognize the tracking number.
Log into my app and go to manage the parcel, only options are share or rename.
Ring up NZ post in NPL and told to go on their site to arrange redelivery, finally talk to someone and express how poor their online services are and are bascially cut off. Staff member didnt give a stuff.
Get put on hold then have an important 1m phone call with my dentist. Ring up nzpost a 2nd time, get thru to customer service where i voice my frustrations how our natioanl postal service cant sort redelivery on their app as they claim, that person didnt want to hear about it either.
Its a good thing that these people are all employed in a government monopoly organisation model as they woukd have very little value in the real world.
Hopefully the new Govts axe will fall on NZ post so kiwis can have a service it deserves.
Im gutted I have to even give them 1 star
Worst Service ever...They should need to shut down their business
After long wait courier driver my new phone item delivered at wrong address and they Promised me to deliver the same. I wait whole day but no one appears. Then They said courier driver took the item to depot. And worst part is they not allowed public pickups. If I have 0 Starts I will give them in minus. Wasted so much time on Phone with no any solution. Never recommend to anyone..[censored] Service
Recommendation: Never..Please do not use NZ Post
Nz post not reporting theft of express international courier for sensitive documents
I enquired a lot about the safest way to send 2 passports overseas. I was assured that the Express International document courier by NZ Post was the safest and fastest way. So I used that very expensive service. They were meant to be delivered in 2-3, max 5 days. It has been 14 days, the tracking info is nil (nothing since the original tracking number and that it was "picked up"), I had to harass NZ Post to find what was happening. They did an internal "investigation" and sent me their conclusion that they have no idea where the passports are or what "has gone wrong" from when they were posted at the South Dunedin post office. I told them they must report theft of the passports to NZ Police, they refused to do so, instead offering me a small monetary compensation under the table discreetly to close the case as soon as possible. They do not seem interested to look further into criminal activities taking place within their companies, or how passports in their most secured service have disappeared. It is shocking, it is distressing, and if anyone who has any powers or ideas on how to make something happen to force them to sort that please let me know! I keep harassing NZ Post because police told me that despite the fact I filed myself a police report for the theft, it needs to be NZ Post that reports the theft for them to investigate camera footages and interrogate staff etc. I am at a loss, NZ Post is trying to cover up something, or at least does not care there is what looks like theft, criminal activity, within their company.
Bottom line if it helps anyone else: do not use their express international courier for any important sensitive documents, and I would say for anyone in Dunedin, avoid the South Dunedin post office until all staff until a criminal investigation shows it is safe to use.
Recommendation: do not use their express international courier for any important sensitive documents, and I would say for anyone in Dunedin, avoid the South Dunedin post office until all staff until a criminal investigation shows it is safe to use
Rude & disrespectful courier driver
We asked this female nz post courier driver to turn her stereo down as we have people on night shift sleeping during the day, she (most of them) would show up around our neighborhood with very loud stereo all the time, we also complained to the company, instead she showed up with even louder stereo. The company did not do anything. If there's a negative star, that's what this driver and the company deserves. I'm not surprised their ratings are poorer than poor
Recommendation: Never use this company, they have poor policy and couldn't control their drivers
nz post deserves no star at all
Nz post deserve no star at all.
These people lost my parcel.
As online platform showed that parcel has been delivered.
Upon inquired I was told that items were delivered at the correct address and contact sender.
Once I advised nz post that I cameras operating at the premises and I found no one coming there at the mentioned time of delivery(online platform). Nz post changed their statement by saying that they can not assist in this matter.
So what a great service is being delivered by these money making businesses, where no care of clients time money and values.
Beware! New Zealand Post will only compensate 'partially' for what they lost
I've accidently left a set of keys (to my apartment and letterbox) and security card at my friend's place, so I asked my friend to send it to me through NZ Post. After what seemed like forever without receiving the parcel, I called in to find out what's going on, only to learn that the parcel has apparently been delivered.
After trying to persuade NZ Post that I've never got the parcel, they told me that they would send someone to try and locate the parcel. And after TWO WEEKS, NZ Post finally confirmed that the parcel went missing. When I asked them about compensations for the lost post, the customer service representative told me it's MY fault that I've lost my keys and security card, and that the company is not responsible for the loss of valuable objects. When I told the representative that every parcel posted are valuable, and that even if the parcel I posted wasn't, they've still lost it. The representative told me that the company will only be speaking to the senders about claiming losses and not the receivers (which is stupid because I'm basically both the sender and the receiver - my friend is just sending it on my behalf).
Anyway, I sent NZ Post the receipts for replacing everything that was lost (which includes having to rekey the property because the apartment I live in uses Armstrong security which don't make new copy of keys for security seasons), which showed that it'd cost me a total of $348.13
However, today my friend got an email from NZ Post saying they'll ONLY compensate for what's lost in the post (which means they'll not be paying for the price, $163, involved in rekeying the property) and they were also trying to find out whether I've also changed the lock for my letterbox (so that they can pay less).
This is what I've been dealing with over the last one and a half month, and I'm especially mad that the parcel was missing for almost three weeks (the first few days was when they've apparently delivered the post but I never got it) before the parcel was officially declared missing. And during that time, I wasn't sure if I should change my locks or not, as the parcel contains my address and access to my home. Yes, maybe I was very stupid for trusting NZ post with posting my keys and security card, but after this incident, I doubt that I would ever want to post anything again, especially not with NZ Post.
Unreliable and Unprofessional: My Experience with NZ Post Delivery Service
I recently had an unfortunate experience with NZ Post (nzpost.co.nz) that has left me thoroughly disappointed. I must say, it is beyond my comprehension as to how they are still in business. I reside in Auckland CBD and their delivery service, or the lack of it, is simply outrageous. The drivers seem to have a knack for not showing up even after claiming to have attempted delivery. What's worse is that they do not leave a card to collect the package either. I have had incidents where I have been standing outside my building at the same time that the tracking system claims a delivery was attempted, yet there was no sign of the delivery van or courier.
To make matters worse, I have reached out to their customer service multiple times asking them to direct the drivers to use the building intercom for dialing our apartment, but this request seems to fall on deaf ears. It seems as if they don't bother to come to an apartment building at all. In my desperation, I also texted NZ Post customer service on Facebook asking for some assistance to resolve my issue, and was promised that I would be contacted by the fleet manager. Unfortunately, this promise was never kept.
On one occasion, I was told by a representative over the phone that my parcel was in Morningside, while just a couple of days before, I had been informed that it would be waiting for me at the Victoria Street Collection point. When I headed over to the designated location, they had no information about my package being there. Nobody seems to know what is happening, and despite all the communication that I have had with their customer services, there seems to be no change.
To be honest, I feel that NZ Post needs to up its game if they want to compete in the delivery service industry. They are not suited for this job if they cannot deliver packages reliably to their customers. Their lack of accountability and professionalism is quite disconcerting.
Disastrous Experience with East Tamaki Depot of NZ Post: Lazy Staff and Incompetent Service
In this review, the writer expresses their deep frustration with the East Tamaki, Auckland processing depot of NZ Post. They claim that the staff there are lazy and incompetent, and that a tracked item they paid for has not yet been delivered after 7 working days. While the item did not actually require postage as it had a freepost sticker attached, it seems that the parcel is still sitting at the East Tamaki Depot waiting to be delivered.
Furthermore, the writer is critical of NZ Post's customer service, stating that they had called to inquire about the delay and were met with a lying customer service representative who promised to open an investigation and call them back but never did. In fact, when the writer called back, they found that no investigation had even been started. The writer concludes that NZ Post's service is atrocious, and they caution others to avoid using them if they need to send a parcel within a reasonable timeframe.
It's easy to understand why the writer is so frustrated. When we pay for a service, we expect it to be delivered in a reasonable time frame and with some degree of competence. In this case, it seems that the staff at the East Tamaki Depot are not living up to expectations. However, it's also important to recognize that sometimes delays can occur and mistakes can be made. While it may be tempting to avoid NZ Post altogether, it might be worth giving them another chance and seeing if the next experience is better. If not, then it may be time to explore other courier services.
Unauthorised Charges and Lack of Responsiveness by NZ Post Customer Service
Recently, I had a very unpleasant experience with NZ Post when trying to book a courier through their website. Unfortunately, the website was experiencing some technical issues and displayed an error message prompting me to try again. I followed these instructions, only to find that my account was being charged for each attempted booking, without my authorization. I quickly realized that there were now multiple transactions pending on my account that I did not authorize.
Seeking assistance from NZ Post, I immediately contacted their customer service team to resolve the issue. However, I was simply instructed to "call back in ten days" for any inquiries regarding the unauthorized transactions. I was shocked and frustrated by this lack of responsibility and concern for the money taken from my account without my approval. Consequently, I raised a complaint with NZ Post, emphasizing the fact that this situation was essentially a case of fraud.
Despite my complaint, I received a bland response from their credit team, assuring me that an update would be provided in the next few business days. However, as the end of the week arrived, I was still no closer to a resolution on my unauthorized bank transactions. It is a disgraceful situation that NZ Post has failed to deliver on their promises and still refuses to reimburse my account for unauthorized charges.
As a customer, I feel deeply unhappy and dissatisfied with the way in which NZ Post has handled this matter. While it is possible for a website to experience technical issues, it is entirely unacceptable for customers to be charged repeatedly without their permission. I sincerely hope that NZ Post rectifies this situation promptly and avoids affecting other customers in similar ways in the future.
Review: Negative Experiences with New Zealand Post's Parcel Delivery
When it comes to New Zealand Post, there have been both positive and negative experiences. Unfortunately, the negative outweighs the positive for many customers. In particular, those receiving parcels from places like Albany or Rosedale in the past two years have had to wait an abnormally long time - up to a week or more. In fact, getting from one place to another could quite literally be done faster by driving and taking a ferry!
This hasn't just been a problem with some sellers, either. Parcels from Mighty Ape and Parallel Imported, for example, are consistently taking too long to arrive. Given that it can already be frustrating to have to wait for a package, having to wait a week or more can be downright unbearable. If customers have to wait that long for one more package, it's hardly surprising that they feel like making a formal complaint.
To make matters worse, even the competition seems to be handling things better. ARAMEX, which has had a bad reputation in the past, is now delivering packages faster than Courierpost in some cases. Customers have reported their Amazon packages arriving in Auckland and being delivered the very next day, showing a significant difference between the two services.
Part of the problem may be with the promise of "overnight" shipping. Customers who pay extra for this service have a right to expect their package to arrive quickly - yet it seems that this is not always the case. In one instance, a customer paid $15 for overnight shipping from Auckland to Saturday, only to have to wait two weeks for the package to arrive.
There are also concerns about lost packages, sloppy couriers, and high-value packages being left at the door without a signature, in spite of the customer requesting one.
All of this adds up to a pretty negative perception of New Zealand Post. While there may be some good experiences out there, it's clear that many customers are frustrated and disappointed. If you want to avoid the hassles associated with NZ Post, it might be worth considering alternatives like NZ Couriers or Post Haste, both of which have a reputation for delivering packages overnight and doing it right.
Disappointed with NZ Post's Delivery Service - Switched to ARAMEX Instead!
Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with NZ Post! It sounds like you've had a frustrating time trying to get your packages delivered safely and securely. It's really disappointing to hear that drivers aren't following delivery instructions and that your packages have been left out in the open for anyone to see.
It's definitely important for postal services to take care of their customers' valuable items, and it sounds like NZ Post may not be doing a great job of that. Hopefully they'll take feedback like yours into account and work harder to improve their service in the future.
In the meantime, you've recommended switching to ARAMEX instead - it's great to hear that you've had good experiences with them! Have you found that their service is more reliable or that their drivers are better at following instructions? It's always helpful to know about alternatives that might be a better fit for our needs. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Unreliable and Unprofessional: A Review of NZ Post's Postal Service
If you are looking for reliable, trustworthy and efficient postal service, then stay away from NZ Post. There is nothing good to say about this company. Let’s start with their customer service team. They are rude, unprofessional and not trained to handle customers in any way. They don’t care about your delivery – and it's evident from the way they treat you.
They lost my parcel, and instead of accepting responsibility for their mistake, they lied and told me that it had been delivered. When I demanded proof, they told me to contact the police. Can you believe that? They couldn't care less about getting the delivery to the right address or helping find my parcel.
NZ Post does not prioritize customer satisfaction. They have no complaints or claims process in place, and even their website feedback form is not monitored. They won’t compensate you for any loss because they don’t take responsibility for anything. It’s absolutely appalling that a company of this size could have such poor customer service.
It’s a shame that they are the only postal service provider in NZ because there are no other options. I would gladly pay more for a better service. Dealing with them is a headache, and I regret choosing them for any deliveries. I'm not the only one who feels this way; many people have reported similar experiences.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend avoiding NZ Post at all costs. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and they don’t care about their customers. If possible, choose other delivery options instead.
Frustrating Experience Sending Parcel with NZ Post: False Claims and Poor Customer Service
I recently had a frustrating experience with NZ Post while sending a parcel from Vietnam to Auckland. Although the tracking system indicated that the parcel had arrived at the depot, it was never picked up for delivery and was later returned to Vietnam after several weeks. I contacted customer service multiple times, but they consistently provided false information and refused to accept responsibility for the mistake.
Initially, they claimed that the delivery was attempted but they could not reach me. However, upon questioning and checking their system, it became apparent that there was no update on the status of the parcel and no note was left in my mailbox. When I sought clarity on the attempted delivery, they were unable to provide any information and stated that the details were lost on their system.
Upon my next follow-up, they claimed that the address on the parcel was incorrect. However, my family in Vietnam confirmed that the address was indeed correct, leaving me feeling utterly frustrated in the face of these false claims.
I sought assistance from the Citizens Advice Bureau who also tried to communicate with NZ Post, but to no avail. Disappointingly, NZ Post was unable to back up their actions or compensate me for their mistake, leading the CAB to suggest that legal action may be required if I wished to achieve a resolution.
It is regrettable that a company like NZ Post, which holds such a prominent position in New Zealand's postal network, is not meeting its obligation to provide reliable service. Consumers should expect companies to deliver what they have committed to, and if they fail in that regard, consumers may have to seek legal action to hold them accountable.
Disappointed with NZ Post's International Shipping Services
Hello,
I recently had an experience with NZ Post that left me feeling very disappointed.
In March 2022, I sent a package to Israel using air freight, with the understanding that it would be delivered within 10 working days. However, as of May 10th, the package has still not left New Zealand.
When I reached out to the call center for help, they were unable to provide any estimate of when the package would be dispatched. I was dismayed to learn that there was a possibility of delays lasting weeks or even months, despite the fact that I had paid for delivery and had not been warned of these risks.
Moreover, when I asked why this had not been communicated to me before, I was told that it was my responsibility to read the terms and conditions. This was unacceptable to me, as I had purchased my shipping from the post office specifically because I trusted their employees to give me accurate information.
To add insult to injury, my sister-in-law sent a package from Israel at the same time that I sent mine, and received it in just three weeks. I can't help but wonder why it would be so much harder to deliver a package from New Zealand.
Overall, I strongly advise against using NZ Post for shipping, and will be sure to mention my negative experience on social media.
Terrible experience with NZ Post: lost package and unhelpful customer service
My recent experience with NZ Post was nothing short of terrible. I had ordered a package from the US which unfortunately went missing upon arrival in New Zealand. When I contacted NZ Post to follow up on the status of my package, I was informed by one of their representatives, Daniel, that it had been sent back to the sender due to an apparent issue with my address.
To make matters worse, Daniel was incredibly rude during our communication. He stated that there was no guarantee the person who sent the package to me would receive it since it didn't have tracking information. He also claimed that my package was returned to sender with a photo showing that my address and contact number were not correctly listed on the package. This is curious because the person who sent me the package had done everything correctly.
When I requested a copy of this photo to try and determine what went wrong, Daniel told me that it was prohibited by the government to send customers such information. He was very uncooperative and dismissive, which was quite frustrating since the package was rightfully mine.
It is clear that NZ Post is not only providing a poor delivery service, but their customer service is also unsatisfactory. I have proof of my communication with them, which shows that they never mentioned that my address details were incorrect at any point. It is sad to see that a company such as NZ Post would lie to their customers and not own up to their own mistakes.
In conclusion, NZ Post needs to improve their services and customer relations if they want to maintain a positive reputation.
Disappointing Experience with NZ Post: Inefficient and Incompetent Service
My experience with NZ Post, as shown by a 93% negative feedback rating, was incredibly disappointing. I couldn't help but wonder if the company was employing cheap labour immigrants with a lack of work ethic. The ordeal cost me a significant amount of time and effort, and there was no accountability in sight.
To start, the package I was expecting was not delivered due to a lack of signature. However, I had selected the "deliver without signature/leave at front door" option online and received confirmation via email. Despite this, there was no sign of delivery, so I tried to track the package online to confirm if I had done everything correctly. Unfortunately, the website was of no help.
After four days, I decided to phone NZ Post and was told that they would look into it, but heard nothing afterwards. Frustrated, I drove to the 18 Syd Bradley Road depot in Christchurch, only to find the depot closed with a sign directing me to pick up the package from Sockburn or Cashel sorting Centre. This change had clearly been implemented without any pre-warning, as numerous other drivers seemed to be experiencing the same confusion.
Another five days went by without any communication or leads on where my package was. I called NZ Post again, and the receiver logged an "incident," but she couldn't see my previous complaint, and suggested that I was probably talking to one of their "new" staff. I gave all my information again, including phone numbers, as they had no idea what happened to my package. Overall, the process was inefficient and a waste of about two hours of my time, and I felt like nobody was accountable for the situation.
It's clear to me that the systems and processes at NZ Post need a complete overhaul, and their mismanagement at various levels only exacerbates the issue. Incompetence seems to be the root of the problem, and I refuse to accept their excuses of Covid, labor shortages, or anything else. The experience was so bad that I feel a sense of injustice at having to relay it to others and expose their utter incompetence.
On the other hand, I had a remarkable experience with DHL Courier Post, who successfully delivered my package from Sweden to Christchurch in only six days while tracking it every step of the way. It's unfathomable to me how NZ Post could fall so far short in their service compared to DHL, who operate at the top tier of courier delivery services.
They didn't deliver my parcel claiming my road was closed - it wasn't. they lied and I filed 3 separate complaints, they promised a delivery manager would call me to discuss what happened - they never did. They refuse to deal with my complaint, now they ignore me. They are liars and only interested in the profit margin
I never want to use there services courier wise as they lost my parcel due to there courier driver delivering it to the wrong address... So 1* rating from me.it

Argumentative, lazy, rude liars. Plimmerton delivery driver woman is constantly leaving "We missed you" cards in our mailbox. On 3 January 2024 a NZ Post Courier delivered a package containing fragile electronics to our home address of 4/2 Church Road, Taradale, Napier. Our CCTV cameras captured him throwing the parcel onto our doorstep. Quite frankly, we find his attitude and lack of respect for customer’s property appalling, hence my complaint. Fortunately, the item was not damaged.
Claimed loss: Nil
Desired outcome: I would like your courier driver spoken to and an apology.

Valuable international parcel lost
I have been emailing the team sinceMay/ June. At last count 66 emails that go round in endless maddening circles. Before I get my lawyer involved I hope someone will listen to me. A box of products of considerable value has been lost back in May. I have supplied letters from my manufacturer confirming cost price, electronic payment receipt with all...

I am a NZ citizen who posted a parcel home from the UK via Royal Mail on the 16 September. My 2 parcels were delivered yesterday according to the driver at the wrong address. He was told to come back and recollect them and deliver to me, the people he delivered to wasnt home so he was suppose to try again later which he never did. I ended up asking them for the parcels myself, which they said they never got. No one at Nz Post is getting back to me or helping me with the matter and the driver is giving false information about trying to recollect the parcels. Apparently he went back this morning, but i ve been sitting in the window and waiting and nobody came by. No proof of delivery has been given either.
Desired outcome: I want my parcels ASAP, its for my business and im losing clients and business by every hour of not getting my parcels

COMPLAINING ABOUT LOOSING MY PARCELS
How many times should I lose parcels? WRONG DELIVERY?
I have lost a few before, and some were found at the neighbor’s address. This time, even my neighbor hasn’t got it. Why do your courier drivers drop the items everywhere else other than the intended address? Most annoyingly, why does the enquiry take unnecessarily long time to track it down?
It was yesterday I received a notification from Australia Post advising me that my items have been "DELIVERED'. But it wasn't. I contacted the sender and they advised me to contact NZ post. So did I, yesterday late afternoon. Customer service advised me the driver dropped it at a wrong address and they are trying to catch up with him. Here is the next day, and still they are not able to find him to locate the items. I am so frustrated it is going to be taking so log, as usual, even missing my parcel. I have Such problems only with NZ post.
Regards
Yimam

Beware of NZ Post's Subpar Service and Inefficient Delivery Times
I recently had a terrible experience with NZ Post and found their service to be subpar. Many times before, I have sent international goods with NZ Post and on each occasion, my package took exceptionally longer than the estimated delivery time. The supposed 2-4 week wait period was always significantly extended, sometimes even taking 2-4 months. Needless to say, this has caused me a great inconvenience and I have had to scramble to figure out alternatives as a result.
As someone who values prompt and reliable service, I can't help but wonder why NZ Post has such an issue with their delivery times. When comparing them to companies like FedEx, I can't help but feel let down by the quality of service offered by NZ Post. It's disappointing to think that the equivalent of paying a mentally challenged child to deliver your goods is the norm for this company.
I can't help but wonder if the couriers at NZ Post are easily distracted by anything and everything they encounter on their way to deliver parcels. Or perhaps they take unnecessary risks in trying to guess where a package should be delivered instead of properly following a well-established system.
Overall, I would not recommend NZ Post as a reliable shipping option for anyone looking to send and receive their goods in a timely manner. Rather than meeting their estimated delivery time, customers should expect significant delays when using their services. This has led me to explore other options that offer more efficient shipping methods.
Unreliable and Unprofessional Service from NZ Post Delivery
In my experience, using NZ Post (nzpost.co.nz) as a delivery service has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Despite paying extra for guaranteed delivery within a specific timeframe, my parcel ended up taking an unreasonable two weeks to arrive. As a consumer, it is frustrating to not receive the service that you have paid for and is promised by the company.
To make matters worse, the customer service representative that I spoke with was no help at all, and was even unprofessional in their approach. I was told to pick up my own parcel, which was certainly not the type of assistance that I was hoping for. The individual who assisted me, Melissa, seemed to have very little training or knowledge on how to properly support a customer in need.
In my opinion, the level of service provided by NZ Post is lacking and subpar. The company seems to have a casual approach to their work, which can lead to significant frustration among customers who rely on their services. It is disappointing to see a company with such an important role in the daily lives of many New Zealanders fall so short in terms of professionalism and quality of service.
Overall, I would caution anyone considering using NZ Post to think twice. The cost of their service is not worth the frustration and disappointment that comes with it. Look for alternatives that value their customers and take their work seriously.
Disappointing Experience with Aramax: Unreliable and Unresponsive Customer Service
I recently had an unfortunate experience with a parcel I sent from Auckland to Auckland through Aramax, and I have to say that I was less than impressed with their services. Despite being a local delivery, my parcel ended up taking an excruciatingly long 5 weeks to arrive, which significantly disrupted my plans. To make matters worse, I was completely unable to get through to Aramax's customer support team, who seemed to rely entirely on automated systems.
Unfortunately, the seller I had purchased the parcel from was also unable to provide me with any answers or assistance, leaving me feeling incredibly frustrated and let down by the entire experience. However, the seller did go above and beyond to try and rectify the situation and sent me another parcel for free, but this time through NZ Post's Courier Post service.
Thankfully, this second delivery arrived promptly and without any issues, which has definitely restored my faith in NZ Post's services. Overall, my experience has taught me that NZ Courier is a reliable option for domestic deliveries, while Aramax is most definitely the worst possible delivery company in New Zealand and possibly the world. In fact, after doing some research, I discovered that they have a reputation for providing poor services not just in NZ, but also in Australia, India, and other parts of the world, which is truly disappointing.
Unfortunate experience with NZ Post's courier service: Delay and Damage of Item with Poor Customer Service
I recently had an unfortunate experience with NZ Post and their courier service which led to the delay and damage of an item I sent. It took a frustrating three months for them to sort out the issue, during which time I repeatedly tried to contact them to explain my side of the story. Despite confirming that the damage was not due to my packing, I felt as though my concerns were not being addressed.
To add insult to injury, the team leader I initially spoke to was unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. Despite requesting to speak with their superior, I was told that the team leader would be able to handle the situation. This only further fueled my frustration and dissatisfaction with the company.
Over the course of the three months, I was provided with four different instructions on how to proceed, none of which seemed to bring the resolution that I was seeking. In my opinion, the handling of my claim was subpar and failed to meet the level of customer service that I expect from a respected company like NZ Post.
Unfortunately, I felt that my only option was to escalate the matter to Fair Go, as I was left feeling ignored and not heard. I hope that the company will take steps to prevent similar experiences from happening to their customers in the future.
Disappointing Service and Rudeness of NZ Post Delivery Driver: A Call to Action
Recently, I had an unfortunate experience with NZ Post while trying to receive a 25kg item that I had purchased on the popular online marketplace, TradeMe. The vendor had requested that the item be delivered by the 4th of September, in order to accommodate my upcoming eye surgery that would require me to avoid bending or exerting myself for a period of two weeks. Unfortunately, despite these instructions, my item had not arrived by the morning of September 7th, and was still showing as being at the Albany location on the NZ Post website.
To add insult to injury, when my package was finally delivered to my location in the wider Dunedin area, the delivery driver was incredibly rude and dismissive, smirking as he handed over the item. This sort of behavior is unacceptable for anyone, particularly a representative of a service provider like NZ Post.
While I was deeply disappointed by the service I received in this instance, I would like to make it clear that I am not a person who tends to overreact. However, given the poor handling of this situation and the disregard shown by the driver involved, I have made the decision to speak out and use my voice to call attention to these issues.
I do not believe that it is appropriate for anyone to be treated in such a manner, particularly when they are dealing with the challenges of a medical condition. As such, I believe that the driver in question should be held accountable for their behavior and actions, and I would urge the leadership of NZ Post to take appropriate action in this regard.
Overall, I would encourage anyone considering using the services of NZ Post to exercise caution and do their due diligence before doing so. While I am hopeful that this was an isolated incident and not representative of the company as a whole, I believe that it is important to be vigilant and hold service providers accountable for their actions at all times.
Disappointing Experience with NZ Post: Delayed Delivery & Poor Customer Service
I recently had an experience with NZ Post that left me feeling quite disappointed. I had placed an order for some envelopes on their website, with an expected delivery time of 2-3 days. However, after 8 days had passed, I still had not received my order and decided to reach out to their online support team for some clarification.
To my surprise, I was informed that my order had not even been picked yet and may not be delivered until the end of the week. This news was concerning, especially considering the current delivery delays we are facing due to the ongoing pandemic.
I found myself wondering if I would even receive my envelopes in time for our office's closure on the 17th, or if it would be best to just refund everyone's money and look elsewhere for the goods we need for our summer camping holidays. It's frustrating to have to consider such options simply because a company cannot fulfill their own delivery promises.
I urge NZ Post to consider investing their resources into improving their customer service, rather than spending it on expensive rebranding efforts. A company is only as good as its ability to satisfy its customers, and I believe that by prioritizing this aspect of their operation, NZ Post has the potential to deliver much better experiences in the future.
Unfortunate Experience with NZ Post: A Review on Delivery, Tracking, Customer Service & Alternatives
It's unfortunate to hear about the negative experience with NZ Post. It can be frustrating when items don't arrive at their intended destination, especially when they hold sentimental value. With regards to tracking and tracing, it may be wise to check the website or consult with a NZ Post employee to ensure that the proper steps are taken to guarantee delivery. It's important to note that certain items may not be eligible or legal to send through the NZ Post network, so doing research beforehand can save a lot of hassle and disappointment. It's concerning to hear about the rude customer service experience, as it's important for businesses to maintain a friendly and helpful image to their clients. It's understandable if the interaction left a sour taste in one's mouth and would discourage someone from using that service again. Communication and transparency are key when it comes to sending and receiving packages, and it's worth considering other alternatives if a service does not meet one's expectations.
Frustrating Experience with NZ Post: Missing Parcel and Poor Customer Service
As a customer who recently had an unfortunate experience with NZ Post, I feel compelled to provide an in-depth review of my experience. I had ordered a 30 piece crockery set from China and was eagerly awaiting its arrival when I received notification that the package had been successfully delivered by NZ Post and left in our letterbox. However, when we went to check our mailbox, we were dismayed to find that there was no parcel to be found.
After raising the issue with NZ Post, we were informed that they had a photo as proof that the package had indeed been delivered and left in the letterbox. Despite requesting to see this proof, we were never shown the photo and were left feeling frustrated and helpless. We felt that NZ Post was simply passing the buck and refusing to take responsibility for the missing parcel.
To make matters worse, we were greatly disappointed with the level of customer service we received. The attitude we encountered can only be described as dismissive and apathetic - with a "not our problem" kind of approach. As a customer, it was extremely disheartening to be met with such a poor response and lack of concern from a company that we had trusted and relied upon.
Sadly, we were never compensated for the lost package nor were we even offered an apology for the inconvenience caused. Overall, our experience with NZ Post was incredibly frustrating and left us feeling let down and disappointed. Our advice to others would be to seriously consider using a different courier in future to avoid a similar experience. We are deeply disappointed with the level of service we received, and we will certainly hesitate to use NZ Post again in the future.
Inconsistent and Frustrating Experience with NZ Post Delivery Service
I recently had an experience with NZ Post, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant one. I ordered a package and was notified that it would be delivered on a particular Saturday. I patiently waited for the delivery all day, but by 4.04 pm, my tracking app showed that an attempted delivery had been made, which I found unbelievable because no one had come to my door or even my driveway! I strongly believe the driver just skipped my house and marked the delivery as attempted.
The inconvenience continued when I checked my mailbox for a delivery card to arrange a redelivery on the next working day, but there was none. Since it was after business hours, I couldn't contact the company/service center to inquire about the situation. Consequently, the parcel was sent back to the local depot, and I was notified through the tracking app that it was ready for courier.
The status showed that it would be delivered on Monday, but the tracking app changed to "processing at depot" when it had previously said "ready for courier." As you can imagine, this inconsistency did not inspire confidence, and I anxiously waited, hoping for the best.
Overall, my experience with NZ Post was frustrating, and it is evident that they need to improve their service in various areas. I believe that the company needs to review its practices and ensure that they prioritize customer satisfaction. At the end of the day, all we want is to receive our parcels promptly and efficiently without any unnecessary delays or confusion. Here's hoping my package arrives tomorrow!
Disappointing customer service experience with NZ Post: Lack of empathy, poor handling of queries, and no response to complaints
As a recent customer of NZ Post, I must say that my experience was quite disappointing and left a lot to be desired. The primary disappointment stemmed from the lack of empathy and poor handling of my queries by their customer service staff. It seemed as though the staff lacked even a basic level of training in customer service and had no idea how to handle customer queries and complaints.
What added to my dismay was the staff's reluctance to escalate the issue to a manager. In fact, I was told that managers were too busy to speak to me and that I should not expect a different response than what was being relayed to me by the staff member. This policy left a lot to be desired and made me feel like my concerns and issues were not being given the attention they deserved.
Despite making two complaints, I received no response. This made me wonder whether NZ Post really cares about its customers or whether my complaints were falling on deaf ears. I am not even sure if the staff members are trained properly or if any action is taken on the complaints received.
I understand that NZ Post is a busy organization that handles a lot of parcels and mail, and I do not expect every delivery to be perfect. However, customer service is a crucial aspect of any business and the lack of it is a sure indication of incompetence and unprofessionalism. My review is not a result of delayed parcels, but rather a reflection of the incompetency of NZ Post staff members and the service received.
I urge NZ Post to take a closer look at the feedback they are receiving on social media and to acknowledge that these complaints are genuine and repetitive, and not just the frustration of customers. They need to invest in staff training and ensure that their customer service staff is empathetic, efficient, and professional.
Until I hear back from NZ Post, I will continue to raise these issues and hope that action is taken before it's too late.
They will Damage your parcels & Blame you so they are not liable to pay for mistreatment. I am out almost $400 to cover damages for a sold item. Never again…
The courier did not deliver the parcel and told untruths that he delivered. No way to find the truth and check the courier because the parcel delivery did not require a signature, so clever couriers can take from people without being caught.
PITY and SORROW to post with them.
Just wanted to give a shoutout to our delivery person in Tauranga (Cheyne Road, Pyes Pa) he is absolutely amazing he does his deliveries with such a joy and he is always happy (even doing deliveries in the rain) and super helpful! Shout out to him.
It was a signature required document.
The idiot left it on table on lobby..
When I see him nxt he will b getting a bit of lesson..
Disgusting service. Courier did not deliver, did not leave a card and the false information provided by their emails of next business day collection is untrue. Plus they send your delivery to a depot on the the other side of Auckland. NZpost is the worst courier carrier.
