2015 Mercedes Benz C300 AWD (Vin# in screenshots attached)
Issue is...
Off Lease Only (OLO) sold T.R. Gadson a MB C300, claiming it had a clean Car Fax and sound title. In fact, a representative sent me the Car Fax and it stated everything was guaranteed good. I purchased the car for $30,000. Furthermore, I have paid off the loan completely. Currently, the vehicle should be worth @ $15,000 in the used car market.
HOWEVER, the vehicle must have been a salvaged car bc it can NOT be traded in at its fair market value. When dealerships enter the VIN it appears as 'rebuilt/salvaged' with a value of less than $1000.
Claimed loss: $14,000
Desired outcome: Compensate T.R. Gadson the $14,000... I can be reached at [protected]@gmail.com

Nissan kicks 2020
On December 5th , 2022. I came into Off Lease car dealership to look st my options for a upgraded vehicle to my liking. The first incident that occurred which I should have used better discernment was being forced into a Kia suv because my credit was so "poor" management and sales person, reassured that once i had the car for some time that i would be able...

sold us a lemon car
We bought a 2016bmw528I on 1/23/2023 from the offlease dealership in Orlando after 3 weeks the car was undrivable. The battery light keep saying low battery. We checked the battery and it was not getting power to keep the charge. We have called customer service so many times and no one response to us about the issue. The operator even went as to hang up the phone on me. I did speak to someone name Mike and he said that he will give the message to the service depatment. A lady called us from service last week and said she has to speak with her manager but that also was a lie since no one got back to us. I just want them to work with me to fix the car. I spoke to the bank and they said that they cannot help us but the dealer should fix the car. I am going to send amessage to the Fishers on Facebook about what is going on in this deealship.
Desired outcome: to get the car fixed
What’s Fishers on Facebook? I’m going through issues with OLO after just 3 days from purchase. I can’t get any help!
Bank loan/registration
I purchased a 2017 Buick from Off lease only on December 1st. 2021. I was told I needed a cosigner in order to get approved for this loan. Got the cosigner for the loan. When it was time to renew my tags in July of 2022. I find out that the car was in the cosigner's name and i was listed as the second buyer. When we purchased the car, we made it very clear that the car was to be in my name and my cosigner was only cosigning for the loan.
The tag that was transferred to this car was my tag from another car I had wrecked, along with the insurance. Furthermore, also finding out that I'm not even on the loan. Although I make all the payments yet get no credit for.
Office lease also said the do a full inspection of all their cars, yet five months after driving the car I was pulled over by police for no tag lights. After a lot of searching as to why the tag lights were not working, I found there was a wire harness at the back bumper that was stuffed into the bumper and not even plugged in. By the way, the harness fixed about 8 things on the car that wasn't working! There were other things i discovered afterwards as well. Like, oversized tires on front of car that rub when making a turn too far one way or the other. Bad paint that was slicked upped, so it didn't show until later. Bondo work that had been done on the car. The trunk of the car is out of line, so one side is raised and not level to the car. Now that I think about it, I feel like this was a bad deal all the way around. I have been back to car lot to try to get this issue with registration corrected. I'm now being told that ally bank requires that the cosigner be the registered owner of the car. Even though they could have gone through about 8 other banks to get the loan approved. So, I'm just stuck with the way it is. This is totally unacceptable to me, and I would like to have this issue resolved as soon as possible. I made this purchase at the Bradenton Florida Off lease only sales lot. Thank you in advance for any solution you may offer.
Melody Hrabal
Desired outcome: I'd like the matter corrected, or possibly, to trade the car at no extra cost to me with a bank that does not require my cosigner on the registration. And trade this car for another that that has been inspected accordingly,
Sales
We had a terrible time dealing with off lease only. We contacted them about a vehicle which we were told was on the lot. We made an appointment to go see them, drove up to the Orlando location, only to find out that they sold the car the day before. Before we drove all the way to Orlando, we asked a sales manager about the vehicle which we were told it was at their body shop getting paint work done but could come take a look and purchase. Again, we were led to. 2 different people made up complete lies to us just to get us to the car lot. Once we arrived and found out we were lied to, another salesmen tried to sell us another car. They pushed it till we walked out.
Desired outcome: They need to be truthful to people when they call about cars!!
Selling me a car with frame damage
Selling me a car with frame damage I purchased a 2018 Dodge challenger scat pack I traded in my Dodge Durango I had it for five months the engine seized up I took it to Dodge because I still had manufacture warranty and they declined the service because they found frame damage leaking transmission scrapes and a list of other discrepancies and problems I went back to office they said that they’re Carfax in their inspection passed which is impossible I’m a father of two babies and I would not be going through this if it wasn’t for them now I’m 40,000 in the hole and they are refusing to help me
Desired outcome: Take the car rip up my paperwork and don’t ruin my credit
Added coverages
I purchased a vehicle from Off Lease Only in Orlando in May 2021. It was an exhausting experience, spending 8 hours at the Dealership, without a trade in. We kept trying to leave, telling them that we needed to go let our dogs out. They kept saying "No, finance will get you right in. I was already preapproved with another lender and was told "Oh, we can beat that interest rate", which they did. What they didn't tell me was that the finance department was crooked and added Gap Insurance, Service Contract, Auto Armour, Theft coverage, Deposit Recovery Program (still have no clue what that is and doesn't Gap insurance cover theft)? Also, I didn't request auto armour and if they did so while it was in their possession, why should I pay for it? The worst part is that we drove home to Maryland, my husband had some testing done while we were at our house in Florida and it turned out that he had melanoma. We had to load our dogs up and come back to Florida for his treatment in June. We didn't get back to Maryland until September. I never even gave a second thought about my paperwork until four days ago when we talked about our move back to Maryland and trading this vehicle in or selling it. When I called for the payoff, I thought it was way out of line. That's when I pull the paperwork out and it appears while this nice finance man that was so interested in my entire life story, having me keep eye contact with him the entire time while shoving papers in front of me, sign here, initial here. Now I understand why he appeared so interested. My husband had to go home and let the dogs out, so I was left in the finance department alone, tired and frustrated. They kept me there until they were ready to close so their crooked finance department could play me like a fiddle. I am going to contact a lawyer and report them everywhere I can. Please don't buy a vehicle from them and if you do, take the time to read everything they throw in front of you because they do it quickly while trying to keep you in conversation. Never did he ask if I wanted these services. I actually initialed N/A by two of them and they still charged me for them. BEWARE!
Do you know with your service contract was with. We can not find our paperwork and we bought a service contract. I'm trying to figure out the company.
it was called SmartAutoCare. I ended up cancelling as they determined all issues with the vehicle were pre-existing. Good Luck.
They kept me there for hours as well. I asked for my keys back and they said they needed to finish appraisal for my trade in. They refused my financing too. It took so long I was so tired that once we finally agreed on a price I didn’t read [censored] either. Luckily I don’t have issues with financing but have been left borrowing and renting cars and walking or riding bus because they won’t help me fix the car I bought. It has had mechanical issues since 3 days after purchase. Did you get a lawyer? I’m considering the same. No one will respond to me at offlease.
Ha Ha. The sales person most likely told you everything but you didn't pay attention. Everything is written out. If you sign without reading something then that is your fault. Stop blaming others.
Do not let off lease talk you into buying a warranty it is not in your best interest they're into making money
I follow Off Lease advice and purchase an extended warranty which they told me it would be great so I would not be out of hundreds of dollars if my AC went out engine went out I take very good care of my car I took my Mercedes to the dealership because my AC stopped working they told me I needed a compressor the warranty only paid for the compressor not the dryer Mercedes would not put a compressor on your vehicle without replacing the dryer as well as their go as they go together I still was out of over $1,000 bacon Off Lease had my best interest in mind they don't I would never purchase another car from Off Lease again and I have purchased two and my family members have purchased some as well I'm letting everyone know about what happened to me
Desired outcome: Do what you say you're going to do for your customer save their money have their best interest in mind not have me spend thousands of dollars on the warranty that you know will not fix everything like you said it will
Do you know what company the extended warranty was with. We are trying to find our information and can not find out. We are trying to find our coverage.
Purchased a vehicle and within 30days. I have had to take the vehicle back several times - more than 2x's
I purchase a vehicle. Once I drove off the lot, I noticed that certain things became obvious to me.
Air can be hear in the back passenger door. Have taken it back now 3x's for the same thing.
One the second drop off - for something else - the service light came on, then had to take it back for the " inspection". I have had to rent a rental several times with no consideration from OffLease - yet the reason for me renting a car is because they sold me a vehicle they did NOT thoroughly check to sale. I have had to rent cars and be available to drop my vehicle off to Off Lease even if its an inconvenience to my time. Example: I picked up the vehicle and while driving home; I called back to discuss something I felt should have been covered/fixed or even looked at while at the location for service. Yet, I had to reschedule another appointment for them to " inspect" then to bring it back another day for them to correct the issue.
As a new owner - I do not feel I received customer service. And when I ask to speak to a supervisor - it seems to be the same person that can not help me with my issue.
So today, I dropped it off AGAIN and asked for a over all supervisor and was given an Off Lease general card with a general main number - I was told to call the number and ask for Ray- she did not provide his number or email - SMH!
If I knew this I would have NOT purchased the vehicle and if I can return it I will! I have spent more money on rental cars to get my " new vehicle" fixed than the car note have yet to pay.
Desired outcome: A regional supervisor call to address the issue.
Unethical behavior
11/14/2021 Deal # 6004314
I purchased a 2020 BMW X3 from OffLease Only at Bradenton from Benjamin Searles. Waiting for the paperwork Kevin came by to talk with us about financing. I told him I had already been approved through AAA for 60 days at 2.94%. Kevin told me that I couldn't use that but had to go through their financing. After much negotiation back and forth and discussing dealers adding additional charges we began signing electronic forms without seeing the details around what I was signing for.
Today looking at the Offlease Only website there was a section that stated I could use my pre-approved financing from my own back which is just the opposite of what I was told. I also went through a little explanation that I ignored of how I could make my payment 15 days early and lower my APR.
just
Now while reviewing the papers given me I see where my $43, 503.66 finance amount was increased to $47, 371.23 by $3, 867.57 in additional charges including Gap Coverage and Extended service.
Desired outcome: Based on this I would like those additional costs dropped and I would finance with my own coverage or just accept me returning this vehicle.
I should have spoken with them before filing this complaint. They went above and beyond in resolving this as it was merely a misunderstanding. I apologize to Kevin and all at Off Lease Only for my mistake.

I purchased a Mercedes Benz E-350 from Off-Lease-Only — a few weeks ago the sensor on the rear passenger started to give false reading. We have been receiving heavy rains lately — I took the car into the Mercedes Benz dealer — after a few hours they came back and asked if the car was involved in any accident that damaged the rear bumper. I told them not to my knowledge — they showed me the video that the technician took showing the damaged and the duct tape that held the sensor in place which had came loose. I sent Off-lease customer service an e-mail stating what I have said here and they refuse to even compensate 50% of the cost of this shabby workman ship — apparently they do a lousy job at inspecting their vehicles and only care about selling those cars and not their loyal customers. This was my second vehicle that I have purchased from this company. I was planning on purchasing a third vehicle but I would rather go out and purchase from a reputable company and pay 10K more and received my money's worth than get stuck with a car with shabby and below standard repair. Words to the wise — pay more and be satisfied with your purchase — go to a reputable company who cares about their customers as well as selling good cars.

service after the sale
Bought my car may 22nd. Told the management and finance manager i needed the title work done as quickly as possible because i was exporting the car and i needed a title to do that. I was assured by Bret my finance guy that he would make an effort to get my title to me as quickly as possible. days went by i checked with my bank to see if they had the title in their name yet and nothing. I called the dealership 3 days in a row spoke to their :customer service" who assured me they sent Bret an e-mail and his boss and the people that do the titles boss an e-mail and someone would call me back. I got 0 calls back. another week goes by and still no title. I spoke to the county on 06/22(31 days after i purchased the car) and they stated that Off Lease had not sent in any paperwork at all for my title. (legally they have 30 days to do it) I called again and again on 6/22-6/23 & 6/24 and finally got someone who handles the titles to call me back. they stated that my "cash" deal for some reason was returned to Bret and they just received it(this is now 34 days after i bought the car) the women then began to tell me that they were backed up and she would get to it as soon as she could.(if they are backed up hire more people so the client does not have to suffer) she then also tried to tell me the state/county was backed up and i would not get the title for a month.(leaving the country 07/29. What she didn't realize is that i spoke to the county and they stated that what the woman said was a lie they were fully staffed and had been for 2 months. When i bought the car everyone was happy and willing to help me with anything i needed. As soon as they got my sale and my money they did a complete 180. several calls and no answers, they are currently over the timeline(30 days) they are allowed to get my title in my banks name. If i do not receive that title soon i will be deployed and i cannot get the title to export my car. this is a total disaster caused by the finance manager and title company they use to do their titles. if bret had rushed it through like he said he would this would not be a problem. I am sure there are thousands of their customers that are not getting deployed that would allow me to this one time go ahead of them in line. This is my 3rd car from them in 4 years and i am sorry to say my last. i believe one of the reasons for this disaster is the new owners a capital management company . the original owners had that store running like a top i am sorry to see it fail to a standard i once held in high regard. I wish i could give no stars for the way i have been treated especially when the price i paid according to the kelly blue Book said it was $3000 over the current KBB pricing not under like they are always bragging about plus their $499 hidden dealer fee and additional $95 tag/title agency fee on top of what it cost me to transfer my tag
Desired outcome: rush the title process now that it has been handled incompetently
Service
I called to get some help with a couple of vehicles that I was interested in that Off Lease Only had for sale. It was two different BMW 640i Series that appeared to be in good condition. So I sent in my email information on the Site and was expecting a call back. Two (2) days later I send my information in again and decided after I emailed just just give a call. The lady on the phone was very nice and said that a sales associate from the Orlando location would speak with me shortly. I talked with gentleman shortly after. I hope this gentleman was not a sales guy, Because he did everything to put me off. I Listed below how this call went.
1. Didn't answer questions.
2. Rushing to get off the Phone
3. Told me that at best it would be at the end of the day tomorrow before he could get me information.
So I though that I would try my luck the next day because I was really interested in purchasing one of the two (2) vehicles.
I will say No More about This experience but good Luck to anyone that tries to purchase a vehicle from this company that is not local to the dealership!
Desired outcome: Training for employees. Improve employees communication skills.
promised refund that was not refunded
At the Orlando location I was try to get a car and I was having trouble getting approved that night so they told me to leave a deposit so they can try to get me approved. If I don't get approved I can get a refund but if I do get approved there is no refund. So I didn't get approved so I come back to get a refund and the manager tells me my refund proce...

About 3 years ago, my daughter purchased a Mercedes 2 door from off lease. At the time of the purchase the CarFax report was clean. However, 2 weeks ago she goes to trade it in for another car and was told by two dealerships that the car was in a car wreck and had frame damage. When she goes to look up the car on CarFax the date on CarFax showed that it was submitted after her purchase date. She owes about 6000 more on the car. I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing a car from off lease.
liars do not buy a car from this company
Do not purchase a vehicle from this company. I bought a 2017 car October 2017 w/3, 700 miles and was told anything that goes wrong w/the car it would still have the remaining manufacturer warranty. I was aware of an accident BUT was told it was under warranty so basically that was a no worries deal. WRONG my car recently started having problems so I took it in to get fixed and was told because the car was in an accident it's no longer under warranty and whoever fixed the car from the accident basically threw everything back in and that it looks like a jumbled mess. I called Off Lease Only to explain this and was told what they could offer me is to trade my car in for another... Why would I want to trade my car in that I paid off last year for another crap car and car payment? I've sent several people to this company. One of the managers told me I had the opportunity to call the manufacturer to verify if it was still under warranty, my exact words back were so your telling me I needed to call the manufacturer to find out if you were liars? DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM HERE.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
extended warranty is a rip off
I have purchased FIVE Jaguars through Off Lease Only and each time I purchased the extended warranty they recommended. I felt the warranty was important with these high-end cars where services can add up very quickly. It turns out, the warranty is nothing but a scam and I will not purchase another car through Off Lease. My last Jaguar XJ (2014) I purchased from them was continually serviced at the Jaguar dealership in West Palm Beach and at the time of the incident had 45, 000 miles on it. The warranty was supposed to cover the car until 75, 000 miles. I took it in for service and they found the water pump was faulty and would certainly fail soon. The service manager called the warranty company and recommended a replacement. The warranty company refused and said they will not replace it until it completely fails. This was a recorded and documented conversation. The next day I was stranded on I95 in the heat of summer and had to wait several hours for a tow truck. Why you may be asking? The water pump failed which caused the engine to blow up. No warning, no fault lights, but exactly what the dealership warned the warranty company would happen if they did not replace the $300 water pump. I am now the ticked off owner of a Jaguar with a blown engine that the warranty company said they will not pay for because they will not pay for overheating. Seriously! It overheated because the water pump failed, as the dealership stated it would, and the warranty company refused to replace it. Stay away, the warranty is a scam that will not cover your repairs and I still owe over $20, 000 on the car and the bill to replace the motor is another $18, 000+. I purchased extended warranties every time and when I needed it, they refused to uphold their contract. Unfortunately, court is the next stop. This is a financial fiasco and I would have been better off purchasing my cars directly from the dealerships. I will from now on. Buyer beware! My problem will be yours if you buy another car from Off Lease anticipating you are safe with the extended warranty Off Lease sells you.
Bought extended warranty thru offleaseonly called AUTOSMART bumper to bumper worries free that what they said. IT'S biggest SCAM..It's JOKES that you can't even laughs. Every time you take your car for repair THEY Keep denied the warranty. THEY=warranty board get together denial your claim, always blamed you the owner caused the issue.
All I can say is stay away from them or DON'T buy the extended warranty thru offleaseonly.
I purchase a warranty with Off Lease as well their advice my AC went out I took my Mercedes to the dealership they have it fixed they only wanted to fix my compressor they did not want to fix my dryer mean it I still was out of thousands of dollars what a scam smart Autocare is the company they put me with run from Smart Autocare and run from Off Lease
