Im not happy about the outcome of the assessment done by the assessor on the 17th May 2022
Good day colleagues
firstly I would like to express my sincere gratitude for working with OUTsurance for almost a decade now and their good service, but disappointed lately
on the 17th May 2022 the assessor came to do the roof assessment and building assessment. but was not happy about the outcome of the his assessment.
I was told that the OUTsurance will give me R2000,00 to do the replacement of the fallen 5 or 6 fallen roof tiles, replacement of fisherboard, replacement of bandring, replacement of the ceiling and Cornish in the main bedroom and the replacement of the door plus the door handle and the deluxe paint at total cost of R2000,00 after they had deducted their excess money of R2710
honestly speaking R2000,00 is too little to do all of this activities.
Im humbly requesting the claim department team to review my claim will do quotation from my side.

Refuse to pay me
Hi Please can you get your manager to call me regarding my claim because I do not understand he said I must give him few minutes to ask the owner of construction "why the exterior of the house was not pealling for the past 8 years the house was built but after floods then it's most paint in the house is out and plaster, secondly the same thing with roof as per report for 8 years house was not leaking why now and why I'm give an excuse of the roof was not built correctly and painting and waterproofing the roof why is not covered because I believe those damages was done by heavy rains floods
Guys you needs to be faithful here not hiding that's you are doing
What i see here as I was told by Henlie yesterday that the roof and exterior fix must be done by third party which is a contractor now that makes them under quote and give you report that's allows you to run away from assisting on the roof and exterior ,but the fact is I am your client here and I am not happy the way you handling this claim to many mistakes were done from the beginning and misleading information which resulted me being not happy with your service

After numerous and long conversations with OutSurance, on 21 April 2022, I gave written notice of cancellation of my FULL policy, ie household and car insurance.
Alas, OutSurance still deducted a premium from me for May 2022...
OutSurance is soooo eager to obtain clients and will pester you non-stop, yet they do NOT contact you when you cancel!

Business Insurance claim
Had a burglary in the early hours of 13 April 2022 (around 2am) only noticed when we arrived for work in the morning (8/9am). Filed a claim and not getting much joy to date. We are an IT company and some of the items stolen belong to our clients as they were in for repairs/maintenance. I had to compensate the clients because of the delay in order to retain them for future business. OUTsurance is demanding invoices to show that I purchased these, how when I made it clear to them that they belong to our clients.
Pictures of forced entry submitted, police case number submitted together with all other documents required.
I Pay my premiums on time every time, but when we need to claim we get sent from pillar to post. Not happy at all, and to think I have personal policies with them as-well, considering shopping around for all of them.
We are a small business, 75% of our stock is gone we now not able to make any revenue since we have nothing to sell.

I had several phone conversations this morning about a simple matter. I made an error this morning and hit the pole of my gate severely damaging only the mirror on the passenger side. Pictures were sent to your claims department as well as a scanned copy of the quote obtained for the repair from Hyundai Airport.
I now receive a reminder SMS to be at VA Edenvale for April 19. I guess you want me to see an assessor but am not sure. This is utter nonsense. The damage is pretty simple. You should not waste your and my resources.
This reminds me of the reasons why I moved from OUTsurance to Momentum years ago. It was a very similar incident. Must I move again?

home insurance claim. roof leaks. Pontsho Rafedile.
I have made a claim on the roof leaks around the week of 17 March 2021. I was told that someone will contact me to arrange an assessor to come to the house, I then made an arrangement with the consultant that I will be home during the week of 23 March 2022 and allow them to come on that week unfortunately that did not happen. The assessor then decided to come to the house on 29 March 2022 and this was after I have pleaded with the consultant that they need to avail themselves as they were saying they will come on the 30 MARCH 2022. And I have explained that the week of the 04 to 08 I have to prepare for a function at home I would really appreciate if this can get sorted before.
To date i am sitting here with no feedback from the company. No one is really interested to explain to me what were the outcomes of the assessment that was done on the 29 March 2022.
I am really failing to understand why am i treated this way and what should be done. today I just saw that water penetrated to my bed and headboard. I had to again shift everything in my bedroom.
I want to know 2 things, am io not paying my monthly instalment and also how long should one wait for feedback from the company after claiming.

Motor warranty claim - [protected]
I have been an Outsurance Client for almost 10 Years, haven't skipped a payment since, have never claimed before.
On 8 February I have logged a claim on my motor warranty and my wife has been sitting without a car for a week. Today is exactly a week later and I haven't received any feedback, I phoned and emailed, but no feedback and no one is calling me back.
Is this how you treat a 10 year client without any claim?

Delay in attending to claim
Heavy rains on Friday night, 4th October, caused our roof to leak. Water seeped down wall in bathroom on the side where electricity DB box was mounted & we lost power. Logged a call early Saturday morning, 5th October, via Outsurance App for Outsurance to send someone to fix roof leak and also an electrician. After about 2 hours of no response, we phoned Outsurance. Was told by their agent that this was not an emergency and an assessor will be sent on Monday, 7th October, to assess if this was our fault due to maintenance neglect. After convincing him that we could not be without power for so long, he agreed to send an electrician only. Electrician arrived Saturday afternoon but could nof restore power because water was still dripping from wall into BD box. He told us that he was available to come back as soon as roof repair guys are available. Its Monday morning. Still no word from Outsurance, no electricity as well. Its a work day and without power, we cannot work from home, contents of fridge & freezer had to be discarded. My husband is recovering from Covid pneumonia so he cannot take cold showers like the rest of the family. The way Outsurance has handled this claim shows utter disregard for their customers. We will need to repair everything at our own cost & refer this matter to the Ombudsman if Outsurance does not get back to us early this morning.

Flooded house
Register claim on 29 Dec 2021 on Outsurance app, still waiting for assessor to contact me. Claim number [protected]. Please advise when will assessors come out to inspect my flooded house, Outsurance advisors cannot tel me when assessor will come out to my house. We have dammaged and wet furnature. Had to wait 20 min on phone for advisor to tell me that he is not sure when the assessor will come out

"Thank you for your email and correspondence regarding my claim, however I reported this claim on 27 October. Raw sewerage ran into the house and we had to clean it, because it poses a health risk to my family. It is pointless for an assessor to come out and assess now, but I do understand that your company must wait for an instruction before you can do anything. The place and cupboards have been cleaned. No other options or assistance was offered by Outsurance whilst waiting for someone to come and assess the damage and situation. This makes me wonder if I am at the right insurance company. Please see the attached photos and video just to show Outsurance the extent of the problems that I had.

Road side assistance
I barely ever use my insurance and have never missed a payment after years with this provider. Yesterday I requested a call back, the lady could barely understand or speak English. She dropped the line and still hasn't called me back. Best part was that I could not request another call via the app as I only get one chance lol? Disgusting service. How difficult is it to call your (long term) clients. Definitely looking for another provider. I think I'll probably go back to miway - at least they have the decency to call and not leave clients hanging.
Funny thing is that in the past I use to get service surveys. You are very lucky your reps were clever enough to not send one yesterday.

Cancellation of home contents policy
I took out a home contents policy with Outsurance and after having gone through the policy documents, I decided to cancel it because it did not meet my requirements and request my to stop the debit however it went through on 16 September 2020. Upon seeing that there's was no response to my email I tried to call but could not get through. My ID number is [protected].

I have informed that agent to please contact me at 2pm as that is my lunch and I work in a contact center so my phone is in the locker if she is going to contact me at any given time
Till that day I don't have any feedback from the agent or outsurance
I choose outsurance because it should worked closely with my family and im abit surprised to how my account is being handled
I even opted in, changing my banking details so something like this shouldn't happened again as I need my cover active

Short term insurance - outsurance
OUTsurance has raised my monthly household premium by 110%. I have all the bells and whistles in terms of security features to my home and had 2 small claims during 2019. The 110% increase has made my premiums unfordable under current economic conditions. I had no choice but to cancel my household insurance with them. This is OUtrageous exploitation. I am currently on lockdown and my income is no longer guaranteed. Everybody seems to chipping in and helping one another where they can, the banks, retail providing payment holidays etc. but not OUtsurance. They are doing the opposite!.

Know you renember me I had a white ford bantam bakkie way back in 2008 around that was driven by annother female who wrecked my bakkie from the front why hold it against me if I did not even drive the vechile, that women that works for you I assume came to my house the next day here is what pisses me off with you outsurance. She sits down with that recording thing 1 2 then a 3 time every time she tells me in my face I am now lying to her so here around the 5th time she said im lying come clean speak the truth, that pissed me off im trying to explain the truth to her. But when she left and said you are not gonna pay out I phoned immeadtly and told outsurance im finished with you for good, you still up and tell now have the nerve too send me your advertisements. Send outsurance 1 more advert to this e mail adress of mine and im gonna put you on hello peter. You will never do busn with me ever again not now not ever. What douments she decided othe spot through that microphone im guilty u have the wrong name I should be zero insurance there where you always get nothing out. So why on earth would I want to move back to a place that does pay peoples vechiles out.

r400 / r800 payout if outsurance cannot beat your premium
This promotion is a complete Lie. after being told I would be getting the R 400.00 payout as Outsurance was nearly 3 x the amount of my current insurance for the new car I was purchasing, (all disclosed on the telephone conversation) I get an email saying I do not qualify, even after the consultant on the phone said I did qualify.

Couldn't beat my premium but i did not receive r400
I got a phone call that Outsurance will phone me so they did about 20 minutes after. They couldn't beat my premium it was R200 more then I brought it down to R680 I think but still couldn't beat it(mine is R618) . I never received the promotion link. I told the sales person that I'm going to stick with king price and she tried to convince me but the phone got disconnected and I didn't receive a phone call again.

My car is not fixed since last year june
I've been with Outsurance since 2017, i started by paying R1900 comprehensive.I didn't mind paying it because I thought its a very good and efficient insurance. in 2018 Early I was paying R2 296.61, in June I had an accident another car bumped me behind at the Robot, I called and claim and they told me let the other driver who bump my car to go as long as I have the Reg. no following day my car went to Boksburg for Assement and they told me that i'll get an sms that will refer me to the Panel beater and get my car fixed, I've been waiting until today. the Useless insurance they're now calling about the money when can they deduct the money. its Either they get my car Fixed or I want nothing to do with that Stupid insurance.
