SafeCo Provider payment of claim # 041296644

I would like to file a complaint regarding non payment of services. The pt DOI was 10/23/2019. Pt completed care 03/02/2020. Due to Covid, our practice was dormant for a portion on 2020 and could not see pts during the lock down.

We faxed over the signed pt lien & W-9 on 11/21/2019 @ 3:49pm. Shortly after the pt started treating to fax # 888-268-8840.

We Faxed over the claims once the pt claim as our pts could not complete care at that time due to Covid. When we reopened our doors to the public and our office reopened, we faxed the pt claims to 888-268-8840 @3:04pm for payment. We have reached out to the adjuster on many occasions trying to resolve this case. the payment due is $2820.0. I sent put a follow up fax 02/25/24 @ 8:11am. I will gladly fax all the supporting documents along with confirmation faxes that were sent. I finally received a response back stating that the claim was closed due lack to interest for corp statue of limitations was reached.

SafeCo Auto coverage

On September 13, 2023 my wife was rear ended by a policy holder of Liberty Mutual/SafeCo insurance. The damage to her 6 week old vehicle was extensive including a bend frame. The vehicle was taken to a Ford collision center for repair on October 30, 2023. We received a call from a claims rep on December 29, 2023 stating that "According to our records the vehicle will be finished on January 3, 2024" and they are cutting off the rental vehicle as of that date. I provided them with pictures showing the vehicle on jack stands with the entire rear of the vehicle removed awaiting repairs in the lot of the body shop. According to the rental adjuster the vehicle is not being done in a timely manner and refuses to assist us any further. Due to no fault of our own, we had to turn in the rental with no further assistance. This after they accepted 100% responsibility for the damages to the vehicle.

Desired outcome: Liberty Mutual/SafeCo to provide assistance and take responsibility for innocent parties whom their insured parties caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage to other peoples property.

SafeCo Homeowners

I cannot get any productive communications with my adjuster and I can not seem to get in contact with anyone else at Safeco. Our condo was flooded Oct 10 and it is now xmas with no answers on our coverage. He keeps talking depreciation but nothing specific. Lots of promises to call etc but then no communications.

There is no communications about the process or what the nest steps are.it seems as they are trying to keep us in limbo hoping somehow we give up? My condo is a wreck. have started talking to an attorney. Ready to pull the trigger on a major law suit.

Claimed loss: water damage 800 sq ft of floor damage and destroyed hot water heater

Desired outcome: to make my condo whole again no deprivation we are retired and gently use our floors they were new when we moved in as first owners

SafeCo Claims

I had extensive hail damage 2 weeks ago. I filed a claim 2 days later. That was 11 days ago and still have not had a single call from Safeco. I have called 4 times trying to get an adjuster assigned.

We have been a customer for almost 20 years. It's interesting how they can take your money like a slot machine but when you really need them in an emergency POOF!

Liberty Mutual and Safeco are a joke!

SafeCo No reply from rep on reimbursement

To Whom It May Concern:

This is regarding Claim [edited].

My truck was hit on 6/18 by a SafeCo customer. I contacted Penny Jackson, your Safeco Claims Rep, through a text link she had sent me. I informed her after we contacted Enterprise that they would not have a rental ready for me for two to three days. I needed one as soon as possible because I had to get to my job. I was told that Safeco would take 100% responsibility for this. I called Hertz and got a rental on my own. I have attached the receipt. I have contacted Ms. Jackson through the text link, through email and phone calls and have received no reply regarding a refund. If there is some portal or another way I should communicate this refund I would be happy to do it, but no one will contact me regarding this issue.

SafeCo Auto insurance

There insurer gave her 3-day old, licensed daughter her car to drive. Her daughter was not on the insurance. Her daughter jumped the stop sign speed up to avoid oncoming traffic. Crossed the divider and hit my car. The daughter was very nervous offered to pay for the damages to my car. She said she was so sorry for hitting me. The mother which was not present at the time of the accident. Avoided the insurance company for weeks. I finally got a voicemail 36 days after the accident, after calling them so much, telling me that I must go through my insurance because their insurer says it wasn't her fault. I have witness, and picture proof of the accident, they never asked me for it. My insurance company already told her that the accident was her fault. It is impossible to get a hold of someone there. I want my car fixed. All it takes is for someone to say its not my fault for them to avoid paying for damages. We called NYPD, the daughter left the scene. Then texted me that they was on their way back. I called back and was told NYPD doesn't come out to accidents anymore unless there is bodily injury. So, no police report can be done. MV-104 was completed and submitted to the DMV. Why is this acceptable?

Desired outcome: I want my car fixed. Extensive damage was done.

SafeCo Car accidents

Hello I am writing this letter for help with my car accidents and insurance issues that were not my fault both of my vans are in the shop. I'm a single mom with a13yr old daughter that is epileptic and a 5yr old son, self-employed and I'm getting no help anywhere I turn. I got into an accident April 25th 2023 where a lady hit me in the back end, I hired a lawyer (Dennis Hernandaz) which has been a nightmare from the beginning because I have always had to contacted them and recently found out if it wasn't for me calling because I have been emailing my lawyer for two weeks that the company signed a new lawyer to my case and hasn't had a chance to look at my case. The body shop that had my first van for 8 1/2 months because of parts not being made but my van is a Honda Odessey 2022. while it was in the shop I had to rent a van since I am a single mom and self-employed cleaning business, I was renting a van for 1,500.00 a month and was undertrained when the van was going to be done so I went and bought another van thinking I can sell the first van when it gets fixed. January 6th late in the day Calibers Collision called me and told me I can come get the van its was fixed but On January 10th I was in front of Detwhilers turning and a usps truck ran into the back of my 2nd new van Honda Odessey 2023 hired a 2nd laywer (Morgan & Morgan). I took my 1st van since it was fixed to get an oil change and the Honda dealership said there was rat dropping in the air filter. I was just overwhelmed with the 2nd accident and have a severe head trauma I never said anything until now to caliber collision about the rats poop in my air filter. I have had to take my first van back sever times to get fixed again because the things that was fixed on the van kept on falling apart and this last time my friend picked up my van saying the radio wasn't working well I called caliber collision on today May 30th to tell them they have a rat problem but they are not taking responsibility, so I had to file a 3rd claim for the rats chew on my wires in my van and peed all over it while my 2nd van is still sitting there all opened up and in the air filter was rat poop too. The 2nd van has been at Caliber collision since January 10th and they don't know when it will be fixed because they are waiting on a part of Honda. I have talked to Safeco Insurance which is my insurance for both vans and I have asked for help because I am scared, I am going to lose everything because I NEED a car to run my business and take care of my kids. I can't afford renting a car because I rented one for 6 months and it took all my savings. HELP ME PLEASE

SafeCo Coverage

We have been with SafeCo for around 5 years. We have always paid our premiums on time. I had an accident and I was always been told we are able to select our own auto body shop. I took my car to Innov8 auto body shop. Liberty Mutual which is under SafeCo. My car sat there for a month and was investigated during that time. I heard that they were investigating the labor charges being over charged for the surrounding area. That took that whole first month. Our communication was ignored by the claims rep that was assigned to us. The start of the second month finally the investigation was over and I was told that it was under review for the next three weeks and here we sit two months after my accident and was finally told my car was a total loss. We had a rental car for the maximum of 30 days and now we are without the rental car, no car and no check. It has been transferred probably three different times we had 12 different other people call us, so we’re not even sure who did what if anything we have not been paid for our car as of today and being ignored by Safeco. i’ve had 35 approximate emails.

Desired outcome: I paid for a service only to have that service investigated and put off and put off and put off. I would like to have our car paid so I can find a new car.

SafeCo Auto and Homeowners Insurance

Safeco Insurance whom I have been with about 3 years now (in the process of cancelling the auto and home policies), jacked up my rate about 44 percent the past 2 years and without explanation. Keep in mind I have been claim free on my auto and homeowners the past 30 years So why the horrendous rate increase?

After numerous calls to their customer service center if you call it that I was in the process of attempting to get Safeco to increase my deductibles, switch my plan to a more basic less costly plan and lower my dwelling coverage when time after time I was promised these adjustments would be made by either the agents who represent them or the customer service center themselves. But to no avail.

So I decided after reading all the horrific and red flag warning reviews of customers on many complaint sites that the best thing to do would be to get out while I can. So I decided to switch my auto and home policies with another company a much more reputable one. Since then I have sent emails to Safeco asking them to non renew and cancel my policies with them and have not heard back yet. So as most reviews state Safeco customer service is non existent and rarely do they return calls when promised.

Hopefully, I will get a confirmation from Safeco stating they have received my request to non renew my auto and home policies as stated in my email to them.

Desired outcome: Written confirmation from Safeco they have received my request to non renew my auto and home policies and have honored my request.

SafeCo Claims

Mr Sheldon, caused a hit and run on April 28th, 2023 between the hours of 3:00pm and 4:00pm MDT. He left a note on the Jeep after he scraped it with his gigantic solid steel bumpered truck. Mr Sheldon told me, my mother n law and my son that a witness saw him do it and told him to leave a note. John seems to have an over 30 year history of denying ALL of his 130+ tickets he has received, including his multiple failure to register/no proof of insurance tickets, habitual speeding, a DUI in which he was sentenced in November of 2020, his concealed weapons charges, aggravated assault charges, and drug trafficking (614 grams of meth) in which he was sentenced to seven years in prison. The Claims Adjuster, Andre H claims it has no bearing on this matter, but it proves a pattern of utter disregard for the law and he does not take accountability for his actions. After I spoke with Mr Sheldon on Thursday May 4th, 2023 I could tell something wasn't right so I decided to do a background check on him. I copied 371 pages of charges. He tried to fight Every Single One of them over a 30+ year span. I sent him a text asking for his insurance information. He immediately called me and was playing the victim card of having a hard life etc... As soon as I asked him nicely for his insurance information, he changed his tone real quick. I have screen shots of my text messages to him (he hasn't answered) and screen shot showing our 8 minute phone conversation. He wanted to speak on the phone because text messages leave a permanent paper trail.

Mr Sheldon refused to give me his insurance information and got very defensive when I asked him for it. He assured me that he would contact his insurance company on Thursday May 4th to report the accident. According to Safeco, that did NOT happen. He was trying to play stupid in regards to what happens if he's found to be at fault. He told me he was afraid his rates would increase. I saw right through him from the very beginning. His nice guy act doesn't fool me. He's been cited 19 times for having no proof of insurance so he knows very well how all of it works. The police officer I spoke with, when I filed the police report on Monday May 8th 2023, was kind enough to give me Mr. Sheldon's insurance information because it's the LAW! Mr. Sheldon seems to think he's above the law but I will not let him get away with this. I'm including the note he left on the Jeep along with his phone number. WHY would he leave a note if this accident didn't happen? Obviously the accident occurred or the witness wouldn't have had any reason to confront Mr Sheldon. I was able to find Mr. Sheldon's name by doing a reverse phone number search. I can see that he tried to write his phone number so it couldn't be read. He hid the "1" in the "8" on the last four digits; but I was able to figure it out anyways. He refused to meet with us that same day. He said he was going to Oregon and would be back Monday May 1st. At which time he claims there was no damage to his vehicle. It would take a tank to damage his solid steel bumpers. I can see the tire marks from his truck that were left on the Jeep. They match perfectly to his tires. I can see the back right tire has been discolored either by scraping the Jeep or Mr. Sheldon trying to remove evidence. I believe Mr. Sheldon tried to parallel park into the tiny space (which he admits), and the back portion of his vehicle scraped the Jeep. He then tried to pull out and re-park his truck and most likely scraped it again. I'm sure an in person investigator can visibly see his truck tires match part of the damage on the Jeep. The witness who made him leave the note saw this happen, watched him park in a different spot, confronted Mr. Sheldon and told him he better leave a note. That's what John did and said to call his phone number if he caused the damage. Which he OBVIOUSLY did! Just like the past 30+ years, he is denying fault and trying to con the system.

The claims adjuster, Andre H asked me for photos of measurements of the damage. I took photos and sent him those on Saturday May 20th. When I spoke with Andre H, he was extremely rude and very condescending. I am also a client of Safeco, along with my mother n law and we are both appalled and disgusted with the treatment we have received.

Today, Tuesday May 23rd, Andre H denied the claim because he said his client said he didn't do it. There was no claims adjuster who actually looked at the damage. Andre H is going by the "word" of this career criminal. I want this claim in the amount of $1824.60, paid ASAP because we have the note where Mr. Sheldon admits he hit the Jeep, and Mr. Sheldon told me, my mother n law, and my son that he spoke to a witness who saw him hit the Jeep and made him leave the note. I have provided photos of Mr. Sheldon's truck and the damage to the Jeep to the insurance company so they have them all. I have only provided a few of the photos here because of the file size limitation. The measurements of the damage fit perfectly; yet Andre H simply says his client didn't do it. I'm in shock with this lack of investigation and his lazy, unethical way of doing business. There are thousands of complaints on Facebook in regards to the claims department. This company really needs to receive a cease and desist. I will also be filing a complaint withe the attorney general. They will not get away with this.

SafeCo Car accident someone hit me in the [censored] end of my truck!

To whom this concerns out of seven weeks I have had one call and was really never told me things I needed to know I have called ten to fifteen times can not reach anyone to help me this is unheard of a woman hits me in [censored] end and I have no car to drive never got paid for my vehicle, they are taking my rent a car away, have no way to doctors, I cant get to work paid money out of my pocket, now how long will this continue, she hit me in the rear end I was sitting still in the turn lane to go to my house, when lady hit me very hard it totaled out my pick up truck, and I half to walk, something is wrong with this, or someone is not doing there job, is what it seems to be, not happy about this situation, can not get in touch with anyone from this company, so could I get someone to call me asap about this problem, not happy at all thank you kim darian number is [protected] asap

SafeCo Homeowners insurance

My fathers home had tree damage in January 2022 on addition, insurance company gave partial payment in February my father passed away in March of 2022 insurance company was holding other part of insurance money for rebuild. Last year had gotten multiple estimates from contractors which were double of what insurance company said, I tried for months to get the money and they would not surrender more funds, I had to put the first check in the estate account and did what I could with the house to get the loan to purchase it. The beginning of this month I cancelled insurance requesting remaining funds to be released and they will not release them. I did put siding on back of house but did not do rebuild because the funds insurance company estimated were not enough. How can I get them to surrender those funds I would think rightfully they belong to my dad/estate

Desired outcome: Repease remaining funds that should have gone to house even though still not enough for the rebuild, my dad has passed and all I have been doing is battling with safeco to help me.

SafeCo Agent and adjusters

Please contact me so I can send in the documents I have that I have sent n but seems to be ignored. I have proven my case and the facts several times. I was canceled for misrepresentation and then reinstated after I was investigated by detectives for fraud and cleared. They then had me back pay and reinstated, then I got a non-renewal letter for the same misrepresentation! I was proven right and cleared.

It was a hit and run, I have no at fault accidents, tickets and have been a customer for decades!

SafeCo Crappy company

We have been trying to get ahold of our so call claims adjusters but she is not returning our calls or emails regarding a voided check from Safeco.
Ive been emailing her this since April and have been leaving messages since March. She will not return our calls or respond to me but I received a letter from Safeco saying the check they issued has not been cashed so reach out to our agent which is KRISTINA. I finally got a respond from her back up team and was told they would replace the check and this was in April. Im not sure what type of company this is but maybe you guys need better workers.

We have made several attempts to contact you regarding a missing check and we needed another one resend since it was misplaced. SafeCo Claim

I was hit by a car last November 2022, and immediately went to the doctor and missed 5 days of work. Thankful, I am fine - no damaged except soreness and a few days of missed work.

I have been following up with Safeco and they sent me some forms and nothing happened since then, I follow up every other 2 weeks and each time was put directly to the voice mail of Willie Williams , I kept leaving messages but never once received a return call. I was beginning to get antsy and so decided to keep calling 5 times a day - for 4 straight days and still no answer.

Finally, I got hold of an operator after I asked for several times, and found out that Willie Williams is no longer in that position, and that my case was closed. Its frustrating that even now I will call and my call will go to their adjuster that is no longer working on that department. Then Safeco informed me this case was closed because I did not submit a bill. I did not know they were expecting a bill. Safeco has the worse customer service and we are thinking of either seeking a lawyer to handle the case or change insurance.
