If you consider ordering online parts from this business DON'T! When a consumer places and order and an issue arrises...good luck with trying to contact a service rep. The consumer is put through a automated phone prompted system, after 6-8 minutes of waiting "on hold to speak to a representative", the consumer is forwarded to a voicemail box. This company will "NEVER" call you back. When a consumer finally speaks to a representative the rep at the other end is confrontational.

If a consumer becomes angry or upset, their response is well...we will just cancel your order...

Not a company I am will to work with...Neither should you!

I ordered four rotors for my car from Partsgeek. I paid for the Centric Brand, but when I got my rotors only one of the rotor is from Centric, the other three were Zimmerman's. How do I know? Because they were in Zimmerman boxes with a small Centric stick on them. Not only that, there were very different from the one in the Centric box.
I called and called but no answer. Finally, I got an answer. The guy couldn't help because he was not working in the sales department. I agreed to let me ship the rotors in but I had to wait for confirmation from the sales people.

Two days later, I got the return number. I called UPS. I was going to cost me around $52 to send the two packages back. Partsgeek is not responsible for lost or damage packages, and you have to pay for return shipping although it was their mistake. After paying $260 for the parts, I decided to keep it.

The parts fit, however, I still believe that I should receive what I paid for. If you want to buy from Partsgeek.com just know that their customer services is very bad. They rarely answer their phone or e-mail. Don't even bother leaving messages, they will not call you back. It has good prices, but you may not get what you paid for.

I ordered a 1996 Honda hood release cable and got it in good time, but received a cable that doesn't look like the one I purchased on line.The part number differs when I went back to double check what I selected. I went to look at my invoice and this is all to gave me- the invoice number. No part number referenced, put the part number on there site and it won't find it only nomenclature of part requests. To get a refund you have to pay return shipping the was more of a cost than the part alone. Be warned that there is no way to trace- in my estimation what you are being sent.

I ordered two tailgate struts and a hood strut for my vehicle and was pleased when the box arrived
within two days. The tailgate struts arrived but there was no hood strut in the box. I emailed them and let them know the nature of my concern. There was no response. Twice this last week I called and was unable to get through but was able to leave two messages. They did not call back. It appears to me that they need to hire more people and train the ones they have hired to respond to email and voicemail. It's too bad because their prices are competitive and the products are exceptional.

I ordered a part for my car and was pleased to receive it overnight, as I paid for. Turned out parts geek had sent the wrong part. It was very difficult using the information on their website to actually get a hold of anyone to resolve the situation. When you call their 800 number you get put on hold for a long time and then finally get voice mail. E-mails to their customer service department were not responded to. I was finally able to get someone on the phone and received an acknowledgment that the wrong part was shipped. Was told I would have to pay again to get the correct part shipped right away and they would credit me when the first part was returned. Like an idiot, I paid for the second part and of course it was the wrong part, too. Repeated phone messages and e-mails were just so much blah, blah on their part. Bottom line is I am out $250+, have two parts that don't fit my car and the whole situation took 2 weeks to get to this point, thanks to parts geek's ineffective customer service. I finally returned the two incorrect parts at my expense, insured/receipt requested and disputed the credit card charges with my credit card company. I will never do business with this company again and I suggest no one else do so, either.

I purchased front cab floor mats for my Dodge Truck, they sent
back mats. I now find out that I must pay for return shipping even though they are the ones that shipped me the wrong item. I consider this to be very poor customer service.

Parts Geek, is terrible. I will never purchase anything from them again.
I ordered a New carburetor and the base gasket. Total was $194.56.
Parts geek sends only the $1.98 gasket via UPS for a total of 27.45 shipping charges and No Carburetor. Now I am out $164, 94 dollars because they did not ship my New carburetor, which I paid for. So the bottom line is I paid a total of $194.37 for a $1.98 gasket. This company is going to be reported immediately to the better business bureau and they should shut them down. This company has had too many complaints and our simply stealing from the consumers. Rest assured I will get my money back and so should everyone else who has been ripped off by this so called company. The only thing they have correct about them is Geek" it fits this company to a tee. Please get the word out that this geek company is a fraud. Mean while I will never order anything online! this company placed the cheery on the cake for not ordering anything online for me. I will just purchase locally and wait for a one or two day order! Big mistake thank the lord it was not much more I would be out $$$ . All consumers/buyers be aware of purchasing/buying online this is just one fine example of what can happen and the sad part it happens too often and these crooks get away with it. Lets all do are part to report these crooks to the proper authorities so that they put these kinks of companies /businesses out of business. Signed: Mad as Hell

It is now impossible to get in touch with these guys. You have to wait a min. of 10 minutes ON HOLD and then sometimes they interupt you to get you name and # to call you back. THEY NEVER CALL BACK! Since I had a defective radiator I would have to send it back on my dime and they send it to a distributor. The dist. then sends it to the home office . This would take a month. THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE . STAY AWAY. THEIR PARTS ARE CHEAP, BUT THEN AGAIN SO IS THEIR SERVICE.

I received my package with the wrong item inside. I sent a message to Parts Geek. They responded with a question the next business day. I responded to them. Nothing back yet. I have replied to original question they asked me. No response. Isn't this illegal? I' sorry I didn't look at the reviews first. I won't recommend them to anyone and I will be filing a complaint with BBB.

They do NOT live up to their claims. I ordered a part, which turned out to be faulty. However I had no choice but to get it installed just so I could get my car home from the mechanic until I was able to get the right part from the dealer a few days later. So is the part in resellable condition? No, meaning I can't return it. But the part was NEVER in resellable condition because then someone else would've had to deal with the same problem. And even if it WOULD have been in resellable condition, guess what? partsgeek does not do full refunds. You have to pay your own shipping and a restocking fee.
Btw, I had to pay the mechanic again to install the new part. What do they think? Money grows on trees?...

Bought some parts and at checkout was shown one price, after transaction was billed double. They say its my fault and will not refund the difference. Called to have them correct on their end but no one answered any of my many calls. All communications have been by email, they are to afraid to talk one on one. Not a real company, do not buy from them their is absolutely no customer service. Parts Geek has so many complaints against them, don't know how their still in business.

I ordered parts for my Chrysler PT Cruiser and did not receive the correct parts. When I tried to contact the company by phone, I could not get through. After many attempts, I realized that they have no customer service department by phone-just a recorded message that makes it sound like you are on hold until they hang up on you. My next attempt to reach the company about their mistake was e mail. Not much luck here either because I only got these short sentence responses saying that I have to return the parts with a restocking fee and I have to pay postage to return a heavy part I did not even order. After writing back saying it was unethical for a company to practice this way, they said that they just don't have an exchange program. I have a feeling that partsgeek must hire cheap labor with no skills. BUYER BEWARE: YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH WHEN ORDERING FROM PARTSGEEK!

Same experience. I returned parts for credit and can not get a refund or a response as to what is going on. It has been over 5 months without resolution!

I ordered a water pump and it came with out gasket so I went out and got one so I emailed them about the missing gasket with a picture from the mfd that says it is included and they say it is not included all I wanted was a credit for the gasket I had to buy to use the part instead they give me the run around like send the pump back and we can send you a new one like the new one will have the gasket mean while I spend my money to send it back to them and then they will charge me again to ship so a $6. Oo gasket would cost me at least $20.00 and there web sight says we pride ourselfs in providing the best cust service wow we should bolt there bath room doors shut till they get it right

I ordered shocks for truck weeks ago. They sent tracking through Fed-Ex.. Fed-Ex says parts were damaged so they won, t ship them. Parts geek sends me a return authorization number and tells me they will review the parts in 30! days and if they are damaged I will still have to pay return shipping! I e-mailed customer service I never received parts and that it is on the Fed-Ex tracking site that they never left origin. Can't get through to anyone can't talk to anyone I am out $200 bucks any response takes a day or two this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my life. I am going to sue them. I will see if there is enough of their scamming practices to maybe initiate class action suit . I will file small claims suit next week. they really need to be stopped. They are doing business on consumers money by initiating the payment action on the consumers credit card then stalling them through fictitious problems and basically doing a ponzzi scheme. It ends up working because people get frustrated and give up.

The other posters are correct - this outfit does NOT have anyone answering the online phone number, and if you contact them via their own website process, you get the same computer generated response every time - someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours. It never happens. I am only thankful that my order was never completed. THIS IS ANOTHER ONLINE SCAM WITH A PROFESSIONAL LOOKING WEBSITE. BEWARE!

Ordered parts from Parts Geek parts arrived very quick not a problem their, the problem is you can't get in touch with this company other than e-mailing a stupid ticket. The problem is they only answer this thing once a day, now I am stuck with this exhaust that don't fit, I cantacted the credit card co and they are now handling this. DON'T BUY FROM THIS CO trust me I made a big mistake.

This company has the absolute worst service and personell I have ever had the misfortune to deal with! I ordered 4 window motors, they sent me 2 incorrect ones. I complained about the 2 incorrect ones (by submitting and on-line request which will not be answered until the next working day actually 3 business days later). Their solution to send me 2 more incorrect parts! Never was able to talk or even exchange emails directly with one person. This company clearly does not wish to speak to the customer. I sent a request to return the parts and the brainiac that responded, said that I ordered parts for a 2-door car which is interesting because I ordered FRONT AND REAR window motors! Now on my own nickle they want me to send them the parts back. I am so spitting mad and am using every ounce of restraint not to drop every four, five, six and seven letter explitive in complaining about them. $140 in parts and I have no confidence I will get a nickle back. If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit against these theifs I would gladly join!

This company could not be worse! I ordered 4 window motors. I received 2 window motors. After checking the part numbers on the 2 that I received, I noted that they did not match the numbers that I ordered. I submitted a complaint (via the on-line messaging on their web-page) to learn that their nearly non-existant "customer service" would only anser during bankers hours. It took 3 business days to get a response. The response I got was that "the items have been sent". I was of course assuming all four CORRECT parts were on their way. Nope I got 2 more wrong parts! After getting the correct parts from the dealer I sent a request to return the parts. This to date has been approved (no money back yet, cross my fingers). The explanation for the mistake was that I ordered (note that is was apparrently my fault) parts for a 2 door cavalier not a four door. This is very cyurious since I ordered FRONT AND REAR door motors? I ask how could one order front and rear door motors for a 2 door car? If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit I would gladly join! Apparrently I have to pay shipping to return their screw up!

Do not make the mistake of ordering from these clowns. They are not like just any parts house. They bill quickly then dont ship. The only part of the process that worked was the billing, my credit card was charged instantly. But the order did not create right, the website threw an error. I emailed them, and waited. They modified the transaction with the wrong email address. So I could not get status emails. You cannot call this company, they dont answer the phone. You are limited to submitting 1 ticket per email address.

Here is the icing on the cake, if it isnt bad enough that they dont ship your item, they charge a core charge regardless of what you buy.Then you are required to pay the shipping back which will always cost more than the core charge. They know your not going to send it back and it increases the price of the part they are selling by 25 percent.

I wish so bad I had never found these guys, or found these complaints first and moved on. I would have already got my part and my truck would be repaired. But instead my part is still saying processing because despite saying they had 38 in stock they probably dont have any. All they have is my money.

Do you think people post here to discuss what you think? Nobody gives a crap what you think because your a [censored] bag old man with nothing better to do then try to "discuss" things. My purpose of posting here was to prevent someone from experiencing the same grief I did not to "discuss points" with you. I read your postings you made today and again you bring nothing of value to the table. Why dont you find a hobby that doesnt involve frustrating people who are already frustrated? Become a scam baitor, or learn how to clean machines with viruses or something positive with what I hope will not be too much more of your lonely life. You are really pitiful. If only you had done things differrently you might get some real family visitors this holiday season instead of having to live in the virtual world.

I ordered a part from this "business" on saturday evening. When I got my email confirmation moments later I realized I ordered a part for my accord (Not my civic) I have several honda's. I emailed them repeatedly and attempted to call them multiple times with no response. This is a store front with no customer service. The wrong part shipped on tuesday afternoon. And now I have to pay return shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Never order from these geeks/goons again..

What a HORRIBLE company Parts Geek is. The wrong part got sent to us and we were charged for it. We have been trying desperately to get a hold of someone to return the incorrect item but to no avail. After 3 emails and more than a dozen phone calls, the only response was an email stating they would give us the return information with in 24 to 48 hours. Well guess what that time has come and gone and nothing about the return. As one other guys said Please take the Parts Geek Challenge and see how long you will be on hold and if anyone will ever contact you. WONT HAPPEN
Try It You too will be pissed off for days to come

In April I ordered a part for my truck, It did not register right away so i thought I may have deleted the order somehow? i ordered the same part again and within seconds, I received confirmation that two items were just ordered. I tried to cancel one of the orders but to no availe. no problem? I sent the second item back exactly like the intructions stated at a cost of $5.42 with a tracking order and everything. never got a confirmation, tried calling them to resolve. NOTHING! they are nothing but a group of scoundrels laughing all the way to the bank! Pathetic maybe? never buy anything from this Co. again. ( If only I could be king for a day ) Ha ha.

I have contacted parts geek 4 times about returning some parts that do not fit my HHR. I've sent them 4 of their Request from their website - which says a ticket number will be e-mailed to you but never happens - and called them numerous times - but get put on hold "due to their extremely high call rate currently", but my guess is, that they just do not have anybody there that knows how to pick up a phone. NO RESPONSE AT ALL! I am going to put a complaint in to the BBB on this issue as suggested above. I just want a reply - I can understand a small restocking charge and having to pay some postage - but I expect a reply and to be able to make a return - especially on car parts!

We ordered a strut from this company and needed to return it. This place is a joke. The
customer service is horrible. You cant get anyone to heip you. We have tried the phone
number at least 20 times and put on hold or automated service. You cant get a response
from the website either. Do not buy from this company. They are not worth the hassle.
If you read these complaints take care of problem 11-[protected] that you had me submit.
The return authorization number is 29-40275. Lets see if they read these and care about
the customer who pays the wages. No wonder this country is so messed up,

I ordered a taillight for my van. After 2 weeks I started to trace the shipment. It supposedly was turned over to the Post Office. The Post Office said that tracking number was never turned over to them. I have used the "Ticket" method, explained I had not received my part and that the tracking number showed it never left their location. The response was, "it was turned over to the Post Office". I guess they can't read because I said that the Post Office did not receive the part. The next response I received was that the issue had been turned over to their warehouse. Now I get an email saying that my return authority will be send under another email soon. Amazing incompetence and lack of customer service.
I sure wish I had checked them out before I ordered from them. Now I have to ask my credit card company to charge back the purchase for failure of the seller to produce the product or resolve the issue.
Please don't purchase from this company.
