I was kinda scared to order anything online and had never ordered an auto part online. Well I ordered a passenger tail light for a 95 T100 and let me tell you; it was the correct part to a t! Fit like a glove. Took my dad, who isn't a mechanic by no means, 5 minutes to install it! Looks great! Will use Parts Geek again! The key is to repeat yourself and make SURE they know exactly what you need. I was assertive and got the correct part!

Earlier last month I wrote a review about customer service and the gasket they said I needed for an oil pan I bought from them, I did not need the gasket and they wanted me to pay for shipping to send it back, I did all this and spoke with customer service and they just refunded me the cost of the part and the shipping, so this place is getting real good taking care of there customers, I will definitely shop here again when I need automotive parts. Exact Match & Unbeatable Price
This Action Crash GM*** Splash Panel / Skid Plate for under the front part of an engine worked great. It is an exact replacement on a 2007 Buick Lucerne. The only thing to remember in installing is on the front part under the bumper you may have to use vinyl tie straps rather than the stock gm clips. The clips work fine where you attach the splash guard to metal, but not so well where it attaches to the plastic bumper. All in all a nice replacement for the original stock piece.

I have gotten very good service from Parts geek LLC. Only problem that I have had is that I had to return a part. I had to pay return postage my self when I thought that I would get a return label as other companies that I have dealt with have done. It cost me almost have the price that I payed for the part. So its like donating over $40.00 to Parts Geek LLC. The only thing that I might have done wrong is that I forgot to read their Return policy. Other than that it is a Great Company to deal with and I probably would purchase again from this company due to their Great service.

Even if the parts that you order show to be correct but actually do not fit because of manufacturing wrong, you get to pay the shipping in order to receive your refund. OR SO I THOUGHT... I did contact Parts Geek and they listened to my concerns. They provided me with a postage paid return shipping label.
That is the way to conduct a business, in my opinion. Now, Parts Geek has a respected place in my searches when I am looking for parts for customer cars.

Ordered a front suspension kit for 2007 Chevrolet four-wheel-drive. All parts and kit were correct except passenger control arm. It was for a dodge Durango. I installed all parts except for that control arm now I can’t return it for the correct one without returning the entire kit, which is already installed on my vehicle. The easy fix is sending the correct control arm with a return label for the incorrect control arm they sent me And making everybody happy .instead I have to purchase a new control arm. I believe they put the wrong parts in these kits so they can sell you the correct parts at an extra expense.
The absolutely will not take back the return that I have and pay for the postage the site shows that it fits the vehicle but it does not fit the vehicle it's just happened to be more than once and they don't seem to care most of their contacts are in India China and everything is horrible now at one time I ordered thousands of dollars of parts from PartsGeek

Turns out the upper ball joint on the arm was a hair too big after I remove the mf and compared to old one. I was so PISSED that I just went down literally a block and got them from Advance Auto. Parts Geek was awesome and understanding. They paid for return and got refund in 10 business days after approval and you get an email to let you know your refund was approved. So idk

Very tricky to install because it is has a round press-fit attachment that you essentially are installing blind (ie you cannot see the alignment). But I got it in, and is working perfectly. $20. My independent mechanic quoted me $76 for their replica part, and I don’t what the labor charge would have been. They sometimes do simple things for free. I’m sure VW would have been north of $100 for the part. PartGeek will be my first stop for VW parts from now on!
Bad experience. I bought a headlight for my 2016 Nissan Altima SL Driver side, It lasted for about three months ,the leaking water in it issue I had before I changed it has started again just in a different area. I should have went to a dealer instead. Never will I ever purchase anything from them again. Very expensive light.Be careful what you purchase.

Completely thrilled with my purchase! I needed a third brake light assembly, and everyone from the dealership to the local mechanic was basically up-charging the part times three. My wife found the part (new) on Parts Geek's website for $127, and there was even an additional discount. So instead of paying the $300+ others were trying to charge me, I was able to purchase it for $108. I ordered the part on Friday morning, and it arrived on Monday. About a month ago, the emblem fell off of my Mercedes. Instead of taking my car to the dealership I decided to take a chance online and see if anyone would sell them for cheap. One place I found was PartsGeek.com. The one I chose was an OEM Genuine brand emblem which was available for $39.33. I ordered a 1 year warranty plan since it was free, and with the shipping it ended up being $48.28 for standard shipping. Overall my experience with the website was not bad at all, so that is a plus. I also got my part yesterday?two weeks after I ordered it and it seems fine. I just hope it stays on there.

Don't blink. Ordered a new headlight assembly for my car yesterday because I had a deer bounce off of my light. (Deer got up and ran away thank God) My car inspection is due no later than three more days from then and was pressed for time to get it fixed. They told me 3 to 7 business days. Not even 24 hours later and it arrived on my doorstep From North Carolina to upstate New York. Wow. Exceptionally well packed for such cheap shipping cost. I did a double take at the tracking information saying it was delivered. Unbelievable service. Super friendly and polite. The price? I paid a whopping $138 for my headlight assembly. All the local chain stores were trying to charge me $410 for the exact same part. I cannot say enough good about parts geek. Once again they have exceeded my expectations. I have a 2015 chevy camaro. Ordered the cold air intake from parts geek for 102.00. Before i installed, i was getting at 70 mph 30 miles per gallon. After install, same stretch of i 15 flat road, was getting 37 miles per gallon. The 3.6 liter is running better than it has before, and before had like a lil whistle noise coming from engine. Not any more. Yes you can tell it does go faster, and the pickup is pretty sweet. Almost got nailed by da police for speeding during the speed test, so gotta watch it. So good having more power. Recently, I ordered a cat-back exhaust/muffler, downstream oxygen sensor and a water pump/timing belt kit from Parts Geek for my 2002 Toyota Tacoma. The Bosal exhaust (only $10 S/H) came in quickly (within 2 days) and I was very happy with the quality and fitment. Everything else went downhill after that... The oxygen sensor ("free S/H and in stock") took 4 days to come in separately and it was not correct (the part number matched, but the O2 sensor did not come with the flange that was shown on their website description picture, nor did it have the rubber grommet necessary for the wires to enter the floorboard... and this was quoted as "exact fit"). So, I requested a return authorization number and sent the item back, no big deal. However, I was expecting Parts Geek to reimburse the shipping charges, since it was completely their fault I received the wrong item - their customer service reply was "no, we do not cover return freight, regardless of who's fault it is"... if that is not terrible customer service, I don't know what is. So, it cost me $11 to send an item back to Parts Geek that THEY should not have sent in the first place. Manner of fact, all of the correspondence I had with their customer service dept was short and unfriendly replies. I would have accepted store credit for the shipping charge as well, but they were curt. As if this was not enough, I had been in touch with them since receiving the tracking number on the water pump/timing belt kit (a 3rd shipment that my order was broken down in to and a necessary repair, as my water pump had developed a bad leak and my truck was stranded in my garage)... This kit was on their website as "in stock" and "free shipping". The tracking number stated that FedEx would need 13 days to deliver from Arizona to Maryland! I was shocked - I could drive my car across country to AZ and back in less than 3 days, so I was really confused why it would take triple that amount of time for a shipping company to deliver one-way! I emailed back and forth with Parts Geek cust service and they blamed this long shipping process on FedEx. I spoke with FedEx on the phone, they said it was Parts Geek who chose this uber-slow shipping option to save money and that FedEx would have it to Hagerstown, MD in only 3 days... MEANING IT WOULD TAKE 10 DAYS TO TRAVEL 100 MILES FROM HAGERSTOWN TO MY DOOR! FedEx stated that because of the Parts Geek's shipping preference, FedEx would have to let USPS pick it up in Hagerstown and deliver to me! What kind of crap is that! Since when does FedEx only ship a portion of the distance and then let USPS take it the rest of the way!? Is it 1988!?... that's the last time I can remember mail-ordering something and it would take two weeks to travel across the country to me! I contacted Parts Geek customer service one last time asking for a manager to please call me... I still have not received that call... or even an email from a manager. And you wonder why Amazon is doing so well!?... They take responsibility for their mistakes, have fast shipping with no craziness, offer free return shipping and have accurate website descriptions. Parts Geek should include a warning on their website stating, "While this item may be in stock, it is going to take weeks for you to receive. Please control your frustrations and do not order item if you need it quickly... we don't work that way!" Needless to say, unless Parts Geek makes this situation right, I will never order from Parts Geek again!

I call parts geek and told the sales agent that I needed advise on which suspension parts to get for my car and I provided him with the VIN# to make sure things are perfect and based on my VIN# and their database the agent built the order for me. I also advised the agent that I was traveling fro work and wouldn't be home to check the parts until I was able to get back home in a few weeks due to COVID-19 but the sales agent assured me that everything was going to be flawless which now is not the case anymore. During my time with customer service I was explaining the situation to the costumer service agent and she was very inpatient and explained to me that they have a 30 returns policy and there was nothing she could do and instead of transferring me to a supervisor where I could explain what happened she simply hanged up the phone on me. I called them back and this time I got a very nice young man that allowed me to explained what happened and he told about the same 30 days return policy. I went ahead and started to explain to him that I informed the sales agent that I was traveling, I wasn't able to check the parts till I brought them to the mechanic upon my return and I ave never been informed of the policy limitation or potential issues if it took over 30 days to open the box and check on the product. I have been dealing with parts geek for years and have been under the comfort to know that they always get my parts right and in the very few returns I need to make over the years, this is the first time that I feel like I'm been penalized fro a mistake made by their "professional" advisers to the point where the impolite lady told me that "this is how their parts are made and there must be a problem with my car". I'm really chocked with the situation I'm in right now during COVID and a company like parts geek will make me loose almost 1k bucks fro a part that their "professional" adviser suggested to me (my purchase was placed over the phone and not online) just because a few words in a piece of paper? Where is the recording of the phone call where they can clearly hear that their staff member called "professional" gave me wrong advise and now I have to pay the bill? What would happened fi I was within the first 30 days and after the mechanic dismantle the car realize that the part is wrong, would parts geek cover the extra cost for storage of my vehicle till replacement part arrive? This is very unfortunate that a company would behave in such a disrespectful way to any costumer specially during such hard times and this horrible CIVID crap. My car is 2011 worth 4k and not a new super expensive machine and I had to borrow a friends CC to make the purchase to finally get the suspension done before the winter and now thanks to parts geek's "professional advisers" they will keep my money and I won't be able to fix my car any time soon. Ordered a part on Parts Geek web site. After I ordered on their site it had a $15 coupon offer. I clicked on it and it automatically signed me up for a auto smart savings subscription. I didn't want this this is a scam. I called to cancel and I am getting the runaround. I won't be ordering anymore from parts geek.
order number *** I ordered a kit that was to include rotors and pads for all four tires for my 2019 *** vin #***. The rotors and pads were put on all four tires. When trying to drive the vehicle it was found that the items sent were 4 rotors and pads for the back tires. The new rotors were taken off the front as the vehicle would not drive. I have contacted the company and asked for the correct rotors and pads be sent fo the front. They refuse to send them saying it was a kit and they want all the parts sent back and they need to be in new form. The back rotors have been in use for a week so they are not new and the ones put on the front were damaged as they were the incorrect item.I have chatted with supervisor Victor C and he moved the issue to warehouse mgr Jan V and Ruben who is the one saying he will not send the correct parts. i have attached pictures of the rotors and pads that do not fit, you can see the damage done when i tried to drive the car. It seems the items for the back are in a box listed for the front.
On 10/7/22, I placed an order for 2 new *** batteries part # *** for $330.43/each ($660.86) plus shipping of $24.47 and tax of $37.68 for a total of $723.01 (order #-***). On 10/13/22, I received 2 used, dirty batteries with corrosion on the terminals. I contacted Parts Geek LLC indicating this was unacceptable and I am demanding a full refund as they have deceptively sold me 2 used batteries. Parts Geek LLC has not issued me a refund and further responded by requesting that I send the used batteries to a different company location in a different state at my expense. The cost of shipping (2) 50lb. batteries is more than the value of used batteries. This company misrepresented what they are selling - they are selling used auto parts at the price of new auto parts.I am demanding a full refund of $723.01.
I ordered a part and it shipped October 5, 2022. The tracking link provided has never worked and never updated for me to view but yet, if I call customer service they can see that it has not moved. My call on Oct 14th was that if there is no movement to call back immediately on the 15th. I ordered a part back in may that was supposed to be the OE specifications. Since then, the part I ordered has caused 1000 or more in repairs. Good morning, I ordered upper and lowers A arms for my work truck on 9/20 order # -***. Today is 10/17 and still have not received them! I contacted parts geek on 10/4 to notify them that I had not received the parts and that the tracking link showed the label was created but never shipped from the warehouse. Placed an order for a window regulator for my ***. I ordered the left hand (driver's side). The part that arrived was the right hand (passenger side) I also paid for 2-day shipping when I contacted customer service. They would not send out the correct part unless I made a new order. I would be out another $300 bucks and would have to wait another week for the part. I spoke to 2 different customer service reps and their supervisor and non of them would send me the correct part. They admitted to the warehouse sending the wrong part. Each one kept telling me there was nothing they could do. to fix the issue and I would have to send in the incorrect part to get my refund.
I ordered HUBS for my 2013 ***. When I received the parts i opened them to try and install them on my car when I released they were the wrong part. I then went to a local store to purchase the correct hubs. I then packaged them up and returned them back to Parts geek. I had to pay for the shipping back myself. I waited for almost a month before I had to reach out to them several time for them to find the parts in the warehouse. They stated because I opened them they would not issue me a refund. They were the wrong parts? This is a horrible company and buyers should be made aware.

On Nov 11th I regrettably ordered rotors for my vehicle and when I went to install them they wouldn't fit over the hub so I knew they were the wrong ones...I fought with costumer service for a return shipping label then sent them back.. Not only did they refuse to refund my funds they kept the rotors and told me the claim will be closed. They claim that rotors were installed therefore no refund will be issued and parts will be discarded, I only tried fitting up 1 out off 4 rotors before I but it back in the box for return. Parts geek is breaking several laws here and somehow needs to be investigated. On November 7 2023 I placed an order for controls for a 2017 Audi Q5. The next morning I checked with them on a chat asking about hardware for the controls arms. I was told no hardware was included. I asked about part numbers for the control arms so I could order them. I was told they do not carry the hardware. I checked with Rockauto.com and they sell the arms with hardware for less. I then went back to Parts Geek and asked to cancel the order. I was told customers have 1 hour to cancel an order once placed. This order was not shipped at this point but they refuse to stop it. I was told I could return it. This would force me to pay freight back when it should not ship in the first place.
I find the process and the company ethics to be corrupt and that I am forced to take an order that I can only ship back even though I requested cancellation prior to shipment. I will never buy from them again and will tell anyone who will listen about my experience of horrible customer care.
Claimed loss: $90 in return freight.
Desired outcome: Allow me to return the shipment and have Parts Geek assume the freight and ownership of the items once they surrendered to the shipping location.

I went on line 10/12/2023 I have a 1997 Ford Contour GL found the page for the 1997 it is 4 cylinder 12 volts kept paging down on the page for Alternator for 1997 I found one then said I would keep paging I found the one that said it fits 1997 Ford Countour so I bought that one took it to the company that was going to install it happened to be wrong it is not my FAULT that I ordered it because it said for 1997 Ford Countuor GL so now I am being charged double for the alternator and I have to return the wrong one which was not my fault I am very disappointed have ordered from Parts Geek before everything has been fine so now I have to go to the Post Office to mail it which is going to cost me at $20 I am 82 yrs can't lift the damn thing I would appreciate it if you could do a mailing label for me then they can pick it up at my house I am very DISAPPOINTED I expect a reply

The alternator was broken (see pictures). Also, while I met the 30 day return request, I think the 30 days should begin the date I received the item...I wouldn't know it was defective until I received it? It took me a couple weeks to find an installer...so that was the delay.

PartsGeek Review: Good for Ordering, Terrible Customer Service
It's pretty easy to take someone's money, but it's a whole different story when it comes to good customer service. That's where PartsGeek comes in. They're a third-party intermediary that supposedly has connections with various part suppliers to get you the parts you need. It's like Amazon, but for car parts. They don't actually hold any parts themselves, but they're a one-stop-shop for all your car part needs.
I ordered some parts from PartsGeek without any issues, but when all the parts except one came in, I had to test their claims/help desk. That's when I ran into my first problem - their ticket system was always down. Every time I tried to use it, it would say, "The ticket system is down for maintenance. It will be back up at 9:00 am EST. (excluding Sunday)." So, I had to resort to their customer help library, which stated that they accept no responsibility for lost or damaged packages. I had to deal with the shipper, which in my case was UPS.
While UPS was doing their claims investigation, I decided to use PartsGeek's Manage My Order feature. This feature allows you to do things like return a core, re-order, review a product, or make a general return. I clicked the general return button and selected "I didn't receive part" as the reason for my return. That was it. I didn't receive any response from PartsGeek.
After my vehicle project was done, I had some parts left over that I didn't need, so I returned them. PartsGeek gave me two different RMA numbers for the same part within two to three days. I had already sent the parts back under the first RMA number, but I still haven't received any refund or credit. I'll have to call their 800 number because their ticket system is always down.
I will give PartsGeek credit for giving me core credit on the cores I returned. However, out of the four cores I returned, I only received credit for three. Personally, I don't think I'll ever use PartsGeek again because of the quality of their customer service. It's just not worth the hassle.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with PartsGeek LLC: Incorrect Clutch Kit Delivered and Refund Request Denied
I recently made an online purchase from PartsGeek LLC on 9-09-22. I ordered a Clutch Kit - (Luk Brand) for my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser with the part number LK16-116. The cost of the kit was $438.43, not including shipping. However, when the item was delivered, I found out that PartsGeek had mistakenly packaged an "Aisin" clutch kit, which was of lesser value ($313.46) in Luk packaging. This was not the kit I had ordered, but since my vehicle had been broken down for several days awaiting the parts delivery and was now subject to tow, I decided to use the lesser valued kit.
After using the kit, I contacted PartsGeek LLC to seek a partial refund for the monetary difference in kits, which is $124.97, as per their prices advertised on their website. Their customer service department asked me to qualify the mix-up by providing photos of the box, packing slip, and proof of the wrong part. I sent several clear photos showing the obvious mix-up. However, after sending a detailed reply to customer service with proof of wrong part pics attached, I was asked to provide another set of photos clearly showing the wrong parts.
I complied with their request and sent another set of photos. But, to my surprise, a third response from Customer Service soon came back asking for yet another round of the same pictures. After reviewing the previous photos sent, and determining them to be more than adequate to provide proof that the wrong kit was packaged in the right packaging, I informed Customer service that the proof requested had been satisfied, and again asked for a partial refund to cover the difference in kit value.
Despite several conversations with their customer service agents, they assured me that no refund could be generated via them, and that my request would have to be sent over to the warehouse for a final resolution. Today, PartsGeek generated one last email advising me that the only resolution they are willing to provide is for me to send back the item and wait to be refunded. This resolution is unacceptable as the vehicle would be towed, and additional charges would be assessed.
Overall, I am disappointed with the customer service provided by PartsGeek LLC. They have not been able to resolve my issue, and their resolution is not feasible for me. I hope they can improve their customer service and provide better solutions to their customers in the future.
Beware of Partsgeek: Online Car Parts Store Fails in Customer Service and Accountability
Partsgeek is an online-only store that sells car parts. Some people might think that this is a good thing because they don't have to deal with customers face-to-face. However, I think that this is a bad thing because it means that they can avoid accountability. They don't have to answer to anyone if they mess up an order or send the wrong part. They can just hide behind their computer screens and hope that the customer goes away.
I think that Partsgeek sells to out-of-state customers on purpose. They do this so that they can create physical distance from their customers. They don't want to risk a physical confrontation with someone who is angry about their bad service. Partsgeek fails miserably in this area. They don't have professional responses to any of these questions. They don't seem to care about their customers at all. They just want to make a quick buck and move on to the next customer.
The best thing you can do if you have a problem with Partsgeek is to use your credit card. Credit cards don't hold their cardmembers responsible in cases of fraud or gross customer dissatisfaction. If you buy something from Partsgeek and they treat you badly, you can start the bankcard refund process. It takes some time to fill out the form and get everything they need, but it's worth it. The bank will request some satisfaction from Partsgeek, but they won't get it. You will get credited for the sales amount, and the bank will go after Partsgeek for their reimbursement.
I did this at my bank, Compass, and they complied and issued my refund. I think that most banks have this policy. If your bank doesn't, then you should change banks. Don't let Partsgeek get away with bad service. Be diligent and use your credit card to protect yourself.
