On August 2nd 2015 at 7:40pm an employee from pizza hut delivered a pizza to one of our guest here at the Hampton Inn in Jackson, AL. There was no one here at the front desk to greet the employee because we are completely booked and understaffed, our front desk staff was busy meeting the needs of a guest. Here at the Hampton our guest always come first. When our guests order from pizza hut, the delivery person is encouraged to stop by the front desk before going to that room, so we can call that room and inform our guest that they are on their way up. Tonight on 08/02/15 there was no one at the desk when the pizza hut employee came by so she took the pizza up anyway, which is completely fine, no problem. When the employee comes back by the front desk, she very disrespectfully interrupts our staff that is checking in a guest. She yells and uses profanity very loudly at front desk staff causing a big scene. She is in an outrage because no one was at the front desk to call the room number when she first came in the door. We promote pizza hut to our guests bringing them lots of business. After this incident we are beyond disappointed from the disrespect and lack of professionalism with the business and their employee. If no action is taken against the young lady, we will refuse to promote any more business to this pizza hut here in Jackson, AL. We do not think she, herself, should be allowed back on the property.
