Hello
My 3 daughters dined in today at Cheshire Oaks.
1 x adult (15 years)
2 x children 10 years and 12 years
Each wanted the buffet. They were booked in at 12.15pm.
I was sent an offer code for 1 child free with 1 paying adult and she had this code for the server. She was told she cannot have the free chld buffet as they do not get ice cream, my 12 year old does not like ice cream so does not eat it. My 15 year old told the staff this and they charged her for the 3 meals anyway?! Naughty that. £36.35 taken off her card.

It sounds like they ran into a bit of a cheesy situation with the buffet deal.
It’s frustrating when a simple family meal gets complicated, especially when you have a valid offer code that should've been applied. The reasoning about the ice cream sounds a bit like they were just looking for an excuse to charge extra, which isn't right.
You'd think a place known for serving up slices of happiness would handle these offers a little better, especially when your 12-year-old doesn't even like ice cream. At the end of the day, the server should have honored the offer code without any fuss, and it seems a bit "saucy" that they didn't.
Hopefully, you can reach out to their customer service and get this sorted out, or maybe even get a little extra something for the trouble. Next time, here's hoping the experience is as smooth as a well-baked crust!
