We had Windows installe approximately 10-15 years ago. After the first year things started to break. Insulator strips falling off, lock mechanisms breaking, tensioner/release mechanisms breaking. We called a couple of times for replacement parts and once they were sent out. After the 2nd complaint we got no more satisfaction. Apparently these windows were a of a obsolete design with multiple flaws and no customer satisfaction. I don't know how their work and products are today but I would never recommend Power Windows and Siding to anyone. As a matter of fact I have steered most everyone I talk to to another company.
Mr. Basciano,
My name is Ray Lodato and I work as the Customer Care Manager here at Power Home Remodeling Group. First off, Mr. Basciano, thank you for your past business. I want you to know that Power is dedicated to make the customer's experience as satisfying as possible, so, naturally, after I read your complaint, I was concerned and immediately looked into your issue. Mr. Basciano, I see that we installed products on your house in 1997 and last had contact with you - for a service - 8 years ago.
At the point and time of your purchase, Power was a smaller company and honored a 2-year labor warranty - that has since been amended to a lifetime labor warranty. Also, at the time of your purchase, Power used a different window manufacturer than we currently do as well. Despite the difference, we're still able to service your products - at a cost to us - but will do so for you free of charge. Ralph, I apologize for any past frustration these issues may have caused, but know that Power is committed to service excellence, so anything we can do to help you, please let us know.
Below is my personal contact information - please feel free to contact me at anytime and we can discuss moving forward with a service appointment to resolve the issue.
Best,
Ray Lodato

I like your response Ray, it's hysterical. "At the point and time of your purchase..." . Classic. But I think you meant "at the point IN time of your purchase. "At a cost to us...". Seriously, are you writing these jokes yourself? You are addressing a customer's legitimate complaint with snide remarks of your own? Albeit subtle, still lacks tact and taste. And I love how you include your "personal contact info"- your office line and extension. Is that how your friends and family get a hold of you 24/7, Ray, by calling a company's office line and waiting for the prompts to dial an extension?
How much does anyone want to bet that this "service appointment" Ray is promising is actually a sales appt that poor Mr. Basciano will have to sit through for 4 hrs at his own home, with some shady sales guy upselling him and telling him he needs a new roof?
And Ray, how did you know this customer's name- he doesn't have it listed anywhere? A little digging perhaps? Creepy.
