Premier Cancun Vacations marketing phone scam

Premier Cancun Vacations. Complete Scam.

I got an automated call claiming I'd won a free vacation and was transferred to an agent. At the end of a forty minute conversation I was conned out of $600.

When I made reservations to follow up on this "deal" I was then informed there would be a $200 reservation fee.

I was put under the false impression that the vacation package was an all inclusive one. This was clarified for me when I attempted the reservation. All this extra cost would've added up to another $500 per person so I asked for my money back.

They made me sign and fax a disclaimer and I got half my money back.

I can't believe I fell for this ###.

I have also paid for this although I made sure that it was an all inclusive which cost me an extra $50. I was under the impression that my flight was paid for going to Cancun and when it come to pay for this all I told them no cause my flight wasnt included. So they told me they would throw in another deal, which when I received my package its not in there. I havent tried booking the vacation yet and hope that I do not have to pay another $200 reservation fees as that is crap and should be told to you when you are purchasing the "deal"! I will let you know how things turn out when I go to booking the trip.

Similar complaint than Jeff. The company called my home phone to inform me that I had been selected and won 100, 000 Aeroplan* points for a vacation, to accept dial "1" and transfert to receptionist who ask me to confirm that I was over the age of 18 and had a valid credit card to check in to a resort (this is where I started to get suspicious!). Premier Cancun Vacations telemarketing scam

Nov. 27 morning (Strangely on my birthday) got this phone call saying I won a unique deal in cancun for 1 week. My boyfriend being naive and unaware of those terrible scam agreed the contract and we paid up to 600$ before we actually got on internet and found out how bad this deal was! We are not going to spend double money on the worst motel and vacation thats for sure! Everything from them was lies and such a companie cant be trustable. All they are is rip off, a time money and peace of mind trap for their own profit. This is so frustrating! All we want its to get refund and this telemarketting travel agency companie put down for good!
We are probably not the only in this situation. If youre living through such a bad time and know how to get further to get our money back and complaints more visible please contact me. I dont want those criminals to go on with this, this is illegal and should criminally judge!

Premier Cancun Vacations False Advertisement

The information the reps tell you on the original phone call is not true. We were under the impression our purchase of the smart circle card from Sams club included food and drinks. Now, two weeks from traveling we are told the package we have does not include food and drinks. I do not trust this company and will not invest in the property due to the misleading information given.

I want EVERYONE out there that this company uses TELEMARKETING COMPANIES out there to call you. If you ask where they got your number, they hang up on you and an automated voice comes on and says you are taken off the list or you have been put on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

To date I have been put on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" 12 times on my home phone and 3 times on my personal cell. I find it particularly rude that they will not take the 2 seconds to speak with you BUT if you say you are over the age of consent THEY certainly will take the time to speak to you to sell you something. SERVICE means just that SERVICE to the CUSTOMER. This company will never get my business and if I receive one more unsolicited call legal action will be taken. And for all those who are having the same problem...there is a process called "Class Action Law Suite".

I am sorry for my manner of speaking but this is enough now.

Are there any news station and/or lawyers willing to take down this company? There has been hundreds if not thousands of victims complained about this company and how they keep falsely advertising their product. This needs to be stopped.

me too. Another big loser with Premier Cancun Vacations. Promised all inclusive by 1st representative, then they only started recording with another another rep with additional info. Did they falsely use the name “Walmart’ when they said you ‘won’ this? If you know you are going to lose your MONEY anyway – just book the hotel anyway and don’t show up. it’s paid for and hopefully they lose any other bookings. complain to better business bureau, advise all you friends to record all their conversations-not just what they want, let your local paper know about this scam, see if credit card company protects you from a non-service or fraud as this is.

Agree. I have requested that they put my home phone number on their DO NOT CALL LIST. In fact, asked them to put our number on the DO NOT CALL FOREVER AND EVER LIST and they still keep on calling. I've blocked a couple of their numbers already and they use different numbers to get through.

How do we stop them? They are so annoying!

Smart Circle is a sneaky company ! When I purchased the Cancun certificate/ card for the 5 day, 4 night vacation the representative assured me it was an all inclusive package; therefore including unlimited beverage and food.
I purchased the card for $250.00 to now find out it went down to $49.00. In addition to that, the food and beverages are not included with the card. It is $792 total for two people... Are they freaking serious or simply delusional!

I hope there company stops tricking consumers in their advertisement.

Premier Cancun Vacations false information & false positioning/marketing

http://premiercancunvacations.com/

The company called my cell phone to inform me that I have been selected and won a vacation.

I was transferred to Fernando to review the details of the "special offer" and basically you are offering a pre-paid vacation.

I had to confirm that I was over the age of 18 and had a credit card to check in to a resort.

In the end there was no free vacation or winning, they wanted me to pre-pay for a vacation $500 US per person that I could use at anytime.
In addition to that they wanted me to tour the resorts and there was a timeshare plug as well.

This was a huge waste of my time (on the phone for 30 mins). The best part is you cannot email them any questions or complaint they have that part of their website disabled, so you are stuck. Even thought it states in their Privacy policy that you can put your questions and concerns in writing and email them on the website.

What a poor way to run a business.

This is a legal way to fraudulently obtaining money from unsuspecting families who are looking for a vacation, i was made to pay for a Dolphin Experience which never happened, i was given refund forms to complete to reimburse to my credit card, nothing, nada, zilch. After calling me religiously each day they stopped calling, stopped taking my phone calls, stop replying to emails, its like they never existed. I will not stop this campaign i will ensure whatever medium is available to get the message out with your help. SCAMMERS.

This is just a hustle, a rip-off. First they contacted me and offered me two vacations for $900. They always ask for the money up front. After I take the first vacation (which they screwed up the reservation), they tell me that I’m not eligible for the seconds vacation. They in turn offer me an alternate vacation package. This additional package costs extra. By now I have paid $900 for 4 nights at a Cancun 2 star resort with crappy service. I go ahead and pay the additional $650 for a 7 night vacation in the Dominican Republic. They then call me back telling me bad things about the Dominican resort. They tell me that there’s a rat infestation and that to cancel it in order to book something else. Turns out once I cancelled there’s no refund. (Which was never stated previously) and the only thing they have available is in Mexico.
They just stole from me and there’s nothing that can be done about that. Its businesses like these that do badly for Mexico. I then go to booking.com and find that there’s nothing wrong with the resort and they had it available for $380 without having to give the money up front and can cancel for free up to 2 days before. I learned my lesson. Do not accept anything from anyone saying “you won a vacation”. I believe that I was not eligible for the second vacation because I didn’t purchase any timeshare in the first vacation and they stole my $650 because either they didn’t have any business with the Dominican resort or they lost whatever business they had with them for having a bad reputation. I hope that it’s the latter.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! PLEASE DO NOT BUY INTO THIS SCAM. We fell for the scam and purchased 2 packages June 2014. Every time we would book a date they would tell us it is full. Fast forward 2 years later still no booking and they charged 280$ Cad to our credit cards to extend the booking! Save your time and money and book somewhere else. George is a scammer!

Premier Cancun Vacations is a high pressure telemarketing rip off.

The telephone operator makes all kinds of promises that they later don't follow through with.

The promise lots of availability but the dates are never available. Then they sell you an upgrade with more promises that they don't keep

My wife and I were scammed by these people for over $1, 400. Shame on us. Don't let the same thing happen to you

I know how you feel, and it seems like this is a common problen in Mexico. I purchased a travel program through Sandos Playacar at Royal Elite Timeshare Resort in Playa del Carmen last March and I requested to cancel within the 5 day grace period but they still have not refunded my down payment of over $9000 US dollars. I have been in touch with people there and they say they are working the process but it takes time. It has now been almost 5 months and I am losing faith they will ever pay me back. This is another forum with more complaints about this company:

http://www.timesharescam.com/timeshare-complaints-resorts-black-list/6-royal-elite-sandos-timeshare-complaints/

I believe we should do something about it, as I understand Mexican regulations forbid the offering of gifts, free vacation certificates or any other promotion strategies without informing the consumer the specific purpose of the offer. I want to complaint with PROFECO about this, and get my money back

Have you accomplished to get your deposit back? I purchased a Royal Elite timeshare last year and I'm having exactly the same problem, I was trying to get a final resolution working on my own, but I think it's time to file a complaint with PROFECO (The Mexico's Consumer Protection Agency) maybe you should do the same thing. I got a call from these people a few days ago, asking if I was at least 28 and had a credit card. I told them no I was 26 but my husband was 28, they hung up when I told the guy he was at work. They had someone else call me back today, asked the same stuff. Then they directed me to a vacation planning agent. I have dealt with people like this before cuz I went on a vacation last year that was supposed to be "free" and it really cost over $200...it was legit but a crappy trip (they had a cruise boat called the Bahamas Celebration). But anyway back to this place, the Cancun Caribbean Vacations, they offered me a trip for $698 to Cancun, Mexico for 6 days 5 nights. Now first off...I am greatly annoyed by these type of scamming lying people so I LOVE to mess with them. So I tell they guy that calls that I'm not interested in that price if he had a trip that was cheaper maybe I would be interested. He transfered me to some chick that suppossivly could offer me a deal to my liking. So this chick she's all like well I could offer you this trip for $399...I was all like welllll I'm not really interested in going to mexico cuz I would have to buy plane tickets to get there, offer me something closer I could drive to. So she then offers me a 45% discount on plane tickets to go to Cancun. I'm all like nope still not interested in going to Mexico, don't like planes. She offeres me another trip in addition to Cancun, she says I can also go to Orlando for 6 days 5 nights all for $399. I tell her I'm still not wanting to go to Mexico so she has to offer something better. So she then offers to add a cruise to either the Bahamas or Mexico on a Royal Carribean Cruise boat. I tell her I still ain't interested cuz I went to the Bahamas before and wasn't very impressed and still I didn't wanna go to Mexico. So then she ads a fourth trip of my choosing to one of like 2 dozen places all over the U.S. or Canada, Mexico or Thailand. I tell her I would only be interested in that trip of my choosing but not the others. So she says I could call some number and they would sell the other 3 trips for whatever price I wanted them to sell them for and they would give me that money back. I tell her I didn't wanna have to be bothered with that hassle and I didn't like the price yet. She offered to have me pay $200 today and the rest in 30 days. I then ask what the company is called cuz I wanna look up reviews online...she gives me the name and their website. I check it out. Website looks like they are all good but hey anyone can make a website to make theirselves look good. So I check reviews and tell her I don't like what i see. She tries everything to get me to not think badly about the reviews. I mess with her a lil longer then tell her well not interested. and hang up lol. They wanna call and annoy us so I like to annoy them, lol. This place is most likly a scam or has a lot of hidden fees they will get you with. I wouldn't buy one of their trips. They called me from the [protected] number.

Help! I keep getting calls on my cell phone from Cancun Caribbean Vacations saying I won. They ask me if over 25 and have credit card. Then transfer me to discuss vacation. I asked them to take number off their list and put on do not call list. They said okay, but THEY KEEP CALLING EVERY DAY AND SEVERAL TIME EACH DAY! They say they are affiliated with Gold Crown in Orlando Florida. They called me from the following phone numbers:

I experienced a lot of what has been said said before. May 28 2012, I purchased a holiday package for two adults and two children under 12. I made it abundantly clear to these people that I was travelling with my daughter, so the two adults were my daughter and myself - no children under 12.December 12 the final of a total payment of $599.00US was made.To make bookings I needed the travel date.I consulted with my daughter, we decided on a date So come January 04 2013, I called to make bookings. Of course I was kept waiting for very long periods and it"s only because I persevered calling back after some days that I finally got through to discuss this phase involving Booking my reservation. To my utter dismay, I was told that if i was not travelling with my husband they cannot make any bookings for me. For verification they played a tape recording of a woman speaking to me. During that "conversation" she rattles out a statement that I must travel with my spouse for bookings to be made, with my voice juxtaposed in agreement to this. I don"t recall ever speaking to any woman about this package.$599.00US was paid for my daughter and me as the two adults in this package.Trying to transfer this Booking to a friend is proving to be just as problematic. Something has to be done to change this nonrefundable stand by Premier Cancun Vacations and to limit if not stop further exploitation of future holiday makers.

If you didnt take the trip, how can you say it's a scam? They tell you up front it is a non refundable package! Such pessimistic people! I am not a rep from this company, i simply pay attention before I give out my credit card number. They say you have to give hem money that day... NO you dont, the same offer or better will still be available a week later! I made them wait, did my research, found all I had to do was sit thru a time share (which I do NOT have the money to purchase so saying NO to that isnt very difficult), I sat thru it and enjoyed the rest of my vacation and spent a good amount of time at all four hotels.
