I just noticed this charge from Easy Saver and called their number on my credit card statement. I complained and asked how many times did the billing appear. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THAT QUESTION before you ASK FOR A REFUND. I had no problem getting the credit back to my card. I was on the call for about 3 minutes and "WON" BACK 4 x $14.95. They said it would take one or two billing cycles for the credit to appear. WHAT BOTHERS ME is the idea that loads of people DON'T KNOW they are paying for this and unless they happen to catch it like I did on their CC bill, this company is raking in the money! What a scam. I wonder what the ratio is of people who pull the plug and those who pay under the rug?

It happened to me too. I just called them and [censor]ed telling them this is a total scam. She said she would reverse the 14.95 charge and cancel my account. I order online all the time, so I know to look for these little upsell services when going through checkout. I don't know how I got sucked in to this one because I don't remember seeing anything about it at all. Very frustrating. I will NEVER use Proflowers.com again due to their association with this company.

Thieves! I also received flowers on Valentine's Day from ProFlowers.com and ended up with the same charges ($1.95 initially and $14.95 thereafer) to our bank account. I called ProFlowers this morning and spoke with Rosie Martin. She immediately started saying she was so sorry for the inconvenience. She gave me the [protected] phone number but stated EasySaver holds "banker hours" and I couldn't contact them until Monday. When I told her I would be calling their company AND EasySaver in the morning she told me I didn't have to, that they would handle it for me. I WILL be calling again in the morning as well as calling my bank! On the BBB website, Stephen Klein is listed as the President of this company, and Carole Hunt as the Director with a phone number of [protected]. I asked Rosie Martin with ProFlowers if this is a continuous problem and she said "unfortunately yes", I then told her that "fine print" telling you what you are actually signing up for when clicking on a $15 coupon is hidden and she actually agreed! WE WILL NEVER USE PROFLOWERS.COM AGAIN!

Ditto Ditto Ditto to everything posted here~on the plus side, I spoke with an Encore Marketing rep who quickly canceled my "subscription" and refunded my $15 quite promptly. Thank you to whoever uncovered this and posted it b/c a quick google search of the phone number on the credit card charge lead me here to a very quick resolution. Proflowers is as equally GUILTY if not more for this fraudulent relationship. I guarantee you that Proflowers.com is getting paid for every sucker that "signs" up for this "service" so naturally they are not inclined to discontinue this fraud. For every 1 person that has posted here, there are probably hundreds or more out there that have no idea that they have been dup'd and that these jokers are skimming their hard earned cash. I WILL NEVER USE PROFLOWERS AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO DO THE SAME!

I agree 100% with everything said. My husband surprised me with flowers from Proflowers.com for Valentine's Day. It was the first time he ever ordered anything on line and I was very surprised. I didn't think much of the $1.95 charge from Easy Saver that occurred at the same time as the Proflowers.com charge, thinking it was possibly a one-time service charge. But in checking my bank records today, I saw a $14.95 PENDING charge from the same company and quickly realized my husband must have inadvertently signed up for something else while ordering thru Proflowers. I checked with him and he said he didn't sign up for anything else other then buying the flowers. I called the [protected] number that showed up with the pending charge. It was a recorded message, of course, saying the business office was closed, but if I wanted to cancel to visit cancel.myeasysaver.com to do so. I tried the website and found there was no such website. I called again, and somehow got a different recording that said to visit cancels.myeasysaver.com (cancel with an "s"). I tried that and low and behold actually got the Easy Saver cancellation website AKA http://crm.encoremarketing.com/cancels. Went thru the steps and found the actual membership number and then got a cancellation confirmation number. Still not satisfied this was legit, I called another number I found on-line researching this "scam", [protected] and reached a real person at "Membership Services". I asked if this was Membership Services for Easy Saver and the gentleman said YES! I said I wanted to confirm the cancellation. He had a hard time finding the file by name, address, phone number, but found it with the membership number I had found on the "cancel website". He confirmed that the membership was cancelled and said since the $14.95 charge was just pending, that my cancellation today should override the charge. If not, I should call back to request the refund. Although my flowers from Proflowers were probably the best roses I ever received, I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT THEY SHOULD NOT USE THIS ON-LINE SERVICE EVER AGAIN. I work in law enforcement that actually investigations computer crimes and ID theft and plan to report this ON-LINE SCAM! It is really sad that something so innocent can cause so much grief.

Just got hit with the single $1.95 charge. I called and they will refund. I Clicked on the " NO Thanks" for the discount club when I bought the flowers. Guess they figured no one would complain till it got to the monthly $14.95. In this economy I am complaining about the $1.95 as well. A shame that a company like proflowers is scamming their customers.

I just saw two different charges from these easy saver programs via pro flowers. While por flowers was quick to respond and refund my money this is rediculous! I will never use proflowers because of this. And if I were to... it would ONLY be with a prepaid visa gift card. In no way will I ever give them my information again!

Same thing here.

What's interesting is that I never even signed up for it.
I spoke with Linda at the 800 number and she couldn't find me in the system.
They charged my debit card the $14.95 the same day I purchased from ProFlowers.com using a DIFFERENT credit card. So they basically reached back in their system and found some ramdom card number on file to charge.
But because they "couldn't find" me in the system, they won't refund me! How convenient!

The company's bad for doing this, but at least the customer service seems nice. I expect they get these calls all the time, but the person who helped me cancel and refund the charges was very nice and helpful. The call lasted no more than 4 minutes. Just make sure you tell them that they are unauthorized charges and that none of these "offers" seem familiar. I was refunded 14.95 + 1.95.

what a frickin pain - so I guess we all have to be very very careful about ordering online, lest we get signed up for any more 'toeless sheer knee high of the month club" memberships. Just remember to check your SPAM or JUNK EMAIL where these messages welcoming you to the MINT JELLY SAUSAGE club because they will often hide - and where we often DON'T LOOK because it is what it is... OMG!

I noticed today thay easysaver charged 14.95 for last 12 months from my credit card!
I didn't check the statement of last year, so I am not sure when they started to charge it.

It's my fault not to check the statement carefully, but it's really a scam.

What should I do?
Will they refund all the money back?
It's at least $300.

I am so mad!

Thankfully, Capital One noticed and redflagged this transaction on my account and froze it. They called me and sure enough, $14.95 was pending and I had already been charged $1.95 earlier in the month (that I didn't notice). I was advised that EZ Server is a Netherlands Company. I never even used ProFlowers--- I think my husband might have looked into ordering for me... but one thing is for sure, I won't be using them. Thanks to them I had to cancel my cards and have them resent. I appreciate Capital One's dilligent attention to my account.

Hi everyone. I just found this on my card as well. $14.95 on 04/09/09, $14.95 on 03/12/09, and $1.95 on 02/11/09. I called and asked the girl I talked to what Easy Saver was and she confirmed it was a program lined to Proflowers.com and that I signed up for it when I accepted a $15 coupon. The problem is, I declined the coupon.

She first said she would cancel the membership and apologized, acting like we were done. I then said she needed to refund the money. She then refunded the April charge and she tried to end the call.

I then said she needed to take care of the other two and she did.

So Kelly, and some of you others out there, call and be toug. They should refund you.

I contacted ProFlowers via Email and got this response:
"Dear David, Thank you for contacting us. We really appreciate your feedback in the EasySaver Rewards program and I am so sorry for your poor experience. Rest assured, we take your comments seriously, and we are on your side. Let me take a moment to just summarize the program enrollment. After you make a purchase on our site, we offer a $15 coupon. If you click on that coupon you will land on a registration page to join our EasySaver program. In order to enroll and receive the coupon, you must enter your email address and zip code which is the acceptance of the terms and conditions of the program. Within the terms stated to the left of the "accept" button, is the enrollment process and states the charge of the program. Our goal is not to have you in the program if you did not wish to enroll and we apologize if this was confusing. If you have not already done so and would like to cancel this membership, feel free to call EasySaver Rewards directly at [protected] and simple instructions will be provided to you to cancel. We totally understand your frustration and will attempt to clarify the enrollment process for future customers. To follow up, I am going to forward your valuable comments to our partner group that oversees the program. Our customer experience is of the utmost importance and we will do anything to improve your future shopping experiences. Once again, we apologize for your poor experience and we are here to help in any other way necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. I'm with all of you...I too was negligent in checking my statement. This has been going on for over 8 months at 14.95 a month. My bank is absolutely no help...Idiots (U.S. Bank) and as other posters have said, customer service at Easy Savers wasn't that bad, they assured me they would refund all eight charges and acted like they get this all the time, they know they've been caught and it won't happen again...at least to me! It reminds me of my 12 year old son...Caught in a lie, admitting guilt and the promise of not repeating. We'll see. What horrible business practices!

Pro-Flowers was helpful. They called Easy Savers on my behalf and made sure 100% was refunded. It was deposited in my account within 3 days. Much easier than going through my bank. My bank wanted a bunch of documentation and forms to be filled out.

What to Say, i can also say that i too have been duped by these guys, the way they presented is also so subtle that when you sign up you do not even have the slightest hint that you will be ripped off 14.95$ every month. Wonder how many millions they might have made. I felt good when the delivery was made but not happy the way it was delivered it was suppose to be handed to the person it is addressed instead it was left at my door step by the UPS people and they didnt even to ring the bell to let us know that it is there, as most of the people have expressed i too think it is better to get rid of this subscription.
Thanks all for the inputs sure will make a point to let other friends know of this

cheers

I sent flowers to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and noticed $1.95 charge on my card from "Easy Saver." Googling the number brought me to this page and I'm SO GLAD it did because I was able to cancel a membership I don't even remember signing up for before it got out of hand. What a disappointment from Proflowers... :( I won't be using them again.

I got scammed by easy saver as well after ordering from ProFlowers and it has actually been going on for 15 months. I called [protected] and the first person said they could only refund 2 months. I then asked to speak to a manager who said he could only refund 8 months. I said I was going to report them and ProFlowers to the Better Business Bureau and suddenly they were able to refund all 15 months. I will never order from ProFlowers again!

I too have been scammed the last three months by Easy Saver [protected]) for 14.95 per month after ordering Valentine's Day flowers from ProFlowers.com. The fact that "Easy Saver" doesn't produce any sort of receipt for automatic monthly withdrawls from your bank account proves that the transaction is fraudulant, in an attempt to hide it month after month. I only wonder how many people are being affected by these scammers and don't even know it.

Call ProFlowers (1-800-ProFlowers) to let them know. Speaking out is a good way to stop this type of behavior. When I called, they submitted a form with my thoughts. The more forms that get to management, the more they will realize what their actions are doing.

Thank God I found this board that people share the same frustration. I just found out this rip off on the credit card stats. First time i saw 1.95 charge that I couldn't remember what it was and let go since small $. This time I searched and so surprised to discover this shameless scam is happening to everyone. I called ProFlower and told them that if they don't want to lose more of their own customer, they better do something to stop this. Sine EasySaver and BBB are closed for holiday, I will be contacting EasySaver for a refund and a big Apology, and then I am going to call BBB to fill an compliant. and I will warn everyone when they use Proflower. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST DO AN HONEST AND SMART BUSINESS INSTEAD OF RIP PEOPLE OFF!

ProFlowers Partner Program

As an employee of ProFlowers, I thought I would take the opportunity to try to clarify our EasySaver Rewards program and the enrollment process.

After making a purchase on our site, we offer the customer the opportunity to enroll in the EasySaver Rewards program. EasySaver is a membership program where members receive valuable benefits such as discounts on travel and shopping, personal concierge services, discounted spa services and much more. As an incentive to try the program for 30 days, we offer customers a $15 gift code to be used on a future purchase on our website.

After clicking on the offer, the customer lands on the EasySaver registration page. The page clearly details the program benefits as well as the sign-up process and related program fees. To enroll, the customer provides their email address and zip code as confirmation that they have read and accept the offer terms stated on the page.

We always encourage our customers to provide feedback on the program and enrollment process. We do not wish for any customer to be enrolled in the program if they do not so desire, and it is for that reason that we have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Customers can contact our customer service agents at any time for assistance with cancelling from the program. Also, please feel free to contact me directly and I will be more than happy to work with you and our partner to make sure we get you a resolution.

Our customers are our #1 priority and we take their concerns very seriously. We hope that any customers reading this posting will understand that we are not in any way acting in the adverse manner in which these posts seem to reflect.

Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions, concerns or feedback.

Thank you

I found charges on my credit card also. Interesting thing is that when you call the number, they ask for your "Membership Number that you received via e-mail at time of registration" LOL They KNOW they never sent me an e-mail or I would have protested the registration and charges then.

This "Easy Saver"? program is a SCAM. I mistakenly allowed myself to get registered when ordering Valentine flowers for my 4 Granddaughters this past February. As soon as I realized that I had committed to a monthly I immrediately followed the email cancellation directions and got a confirmation of the cancellation. My carelessness then allowed my account to be billed the $1`4.95 for the months of March and April - I finally caught the BOGUS charge in May and made the phone call to finallyget it cancelled. After 5 years of using Pro-Flowers for almost all of my flower needs ---- I've kissed them goodby for EVER.

I am sure you are not the owner of proflowers.com. I am sure you did not think you would be a scraping along with all of the other bottom feeders when you working your way through your masters, did you?

I gladly filed a complaint against you and your associates through the better business bureau. I guess you figured if people were stupid enough to sign up and not read the small print then you were entitled to their money. You assumed you had the right to share their credit card information. I hope one day you get scammed and I hope they get you good. You will know how it feels one day. I was sending flowers to my poor mother with Parkinsons and THIS is what happens. Here's an idea...Maybe you can trick my mom into this. She does not check her credit card statements like she should. You would love someone like her. She is not internet savvy and she is old...hey the less advantaged the better, huh?

Just think if a company like yours actually used your success and marketing for helping people instead of tricking them? The world would be a better place. THINK ABOUT THIS! You are a snake and a sorry individual.

Well Count me in, I just check a bank statement from one of my accounts i rarely use. Unfortunately, i used it to order some flowers for the wife a few months back. I had 8 charges from Easy Saver. When i called Easy Saver there was no hassle for my refund and my account cancelation. I don't blame Easy Saver for this. I put all the blame on ProFlowers.com. Why? Because Proflowers.com gives your information to Easy Saver.. When i called Proflowers.com to complain about this decieving sales tactic, the supervisor Patty, Talked to me like i knew i was going to be charge $14.95 a month if i click on the 15% off next purchase coupon. I was really pleased with Proflowers.com service and was recommending it to friends. No MORE. I just sent an email to all my contacts telling them my story and to stay away. I might just send the same email to some news channels, maybe they can pick up the story and expose this.

To the next person who reads this: Call and get your refund back from Easy Saver.
Easy Saver [protected]

Next: call Proflowers.com and complain to them. These are the people you should lay blame on.
ProFlowers.com: [protected]

Next: send and mail to your contact list and tell your story to your friends and family so they can be warned.

Next: Go to the Better Business Bureau .com website and file a complaint.

I just had the same thing happen to me today. I ordered flowers for mother's day and noticed that charge of 1.95 immediately, but didn't think too much of it. I checked my bank account this morning and saw the charge of 14.95 to my bank account, and searched endlessly through proflowers website and my past e-mails for the easy save website but did not find anything until I googled it and saw all these reports of scamming just like what happened to me. I called the phone number I saw a few people post and explained to the lady, Claudia, what had happened. She was very polite (but you could definitely tell she had many of these phone calls before) and no questions asked unsubscribed me from easy save (even though I NEVER did subscribe with them) and refunded the money back into my account. No hassle no questions.

Today I noticed charges on my Credit card with Easy Saver [protected] MD. I typed it into my search engine & low and behold a bunch of complaint websites from people who were fraudulently signed up to Encore Marketing when they purchased from PRO FLOWERS.COM.

I put a charge stop with my credit card, for future possible charges, & called encore marketing with my complaint. they claim they are reimbursing my credit card for ALL purchases... we'll see...

I'm done with pro flowers.com

I'll be calling them next.
does anyone know if there is a class action lawsuit in the works?
