I just noticed this charge from Easy Saver and called their number on my credit card statement. I complained and asked how many times did the billing appear. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THAT QUESTION before you ASK FOR A REFUND. I had no problem getting the credit back to my card. I was on the call for about 3 minutes and "WON" BACK 4 x $14.95. They said it would take one or two billing cycles for the credit to appear. WHAT BOTHERS ME is the idea that loads of people DON'T KNOW they are paying for this and unless they happen to catch it like I did on their CC bill, this company is raking in the money! What a scam. I wonder what the ratio is of people who pull the plug and those who pay under the rug?

I had the same charges on my visa bill. I call the 800 number and they said they will take the charges off my credit card bill. I will never ever used pro flowers again. They are a bunch of thieves and cons. If I do not get the said credit I will contact the Attorney General.

My dumb butt didn't notice these charges and supposedly they have gone all the way back a year and some change. After many calls they are supposedly refunding me but will wait and see if that happens. This ticks me off because my bank will only credit back 2 months and that's probably all I will get back.

I had this happen as well, but since it is the weekend I cannot get ahold of anyone at the stupid easy saver place. But I will call back on Monday and complain until they give me my money back.

DO NOT USE PROFLOWERS. They are theives! I filed a complaint with the BBB and I suggest that you all do it too.

What freaking BS that a company steals from you when you are sending flowers to a FUNERAL!

I too have been getting these charges since I sent something through "Cherry Moon Farms" and then used pro flowers. It seems they are all linked. I called the 800 number and they said they would cancel today. What a scam, They've lost my business and with most of my family out of state that could have been a lot of business.

I just discovered a $14.95 unknown charge on my account, so I called the 800 number to inquire. It turns out, I too was signed up for the easy saver because I had ordered from Pro Flowers. This is a really bad practice because they have lost me as a customer, as well as everyone that I am going to tell about this scam!

Same thing. My wife was just going over the last credit card statement and there was a $1.95 charge and then three weeks later (probably because we didn't call to complain) a charge for $14.95. This is one flower order that will leave a lasting impression on me. Thanks to everybody who posted how to get our money back!

Funny how this worked out for me. My daughter had borrowed money from me and had called to see if her check had come through yet to pay me back. Yes, I'm truly blessed to have a child that actually pays loans back! haha If she had not asked me to check, who knows how long this would have gone on! I checked through months of back e-statements to see how far back this went. It started in June with $1.95 and $14.95 each month after for a total of $61.75.

I rarely see my account, that's why I have an accountant. My accountant thought I knew about the withdrawals and what it was about, so she never mentioned it to me. So I did a Google search on the 800 number and low and behold, here everyone is with the exact same complaint that I have. Only I will be doing business with Proflowers again. Allow me to explain. First let me say I am a semi retired permanently disabled person who has NO affiliation with any of these companies. I've done business with Proflowers.com for many years and have always been satisfied with their service and customer service if they were necessary. Proflowers has always gone above and beyond in my opinion and that's exactly why I keep going back to them.

I called the 800 number and the person I spoke with stated I signed up for an easy saver program. I replied No, I didn't because I don't use easy saver programs, EVER! She said I had received some email confirming the order, which I did receive an email for the flowers I sent. I looked at the total and where it was going, since it was correct, I ignored the rest of the email because I knew I had ordered the flowers. Supposedly, somewhere along the way of ordering the flowers I clicked on something to sign up, which I know I did not unless it was worded in a way that made me think I was ordering my flowers. She tried to make me sound like it was my own fault, which upset me a bit more. I tried to remain calm because I figured it wasn't her fault for what happened. Next she offered me the last two charges as my total refund and she would transfer me to some customer relations department to complete the cancellation. I told her 2 charges being refunded was not enough. She started to say something, I don't remember what at this point because now I was angry not only that someone was stealing from me, but that this woman was going to tell me it was my fault and I wasn't getting back more than 2 charges. I snapped back that it will be all charges or I guarantee you I will take this up as far as I have to to get every dime back! She put me on hold.

When she came back on the phone, she said she had spoken to some supervisor or customer relations person and received authorization to refund all 5 charges and apologized for any misunderstanding. She explained that it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles for me to see that and that no further charges would be charged against me. I thanked her and she asked if she could do anything else for me, so I asked her for an email as proof of this call. She said she will and we ended the call. I have it marked in my calendar to make sure I verify that no other charges were taken and that the charge back to my card does actually take place.

Now my next question was to Proflowers, are you one in the same company, some subsidiary or just a company they worked out a deal with each other? They have been a true pleasure to do business with up until now, have they changed? Was this a slip up that was unintentional? Did they try something new that someone suggested only to have it backfire and slam them? Or did they do this intentionally hoping to scam people our of $14.95 a month for as long as they could before people noticed?

The gentleman I spoke with was careful in choosing his words. I don't blame him a bit! The gentleman at ProFlowers said they are a separate company that worked out advertising and a shipping deal. I suggested they not do business with them considering what had taken place and the number of complaints that can be found on many web sites. He assured me they were indeed a separate company that they had done business with in the past. With all the good years of business I've had with Proflowers, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe they were taken just as much as we were. I will do business with them again because they have been so good to me for so many years. A company as conscientious as they are doesn't strike me as one to have perpetrated this sham, but rather became a part of it just as much as we did. So ProFlowers, you get another chance to prove you're still the best online source for flowers without putting me on the defensive and having to worry what the fine print I never saw is going to charge me for again. DUMP EASY SAVER! They are costing you customers!

Why isn't something done to stop this fraud from continuing. Proflowers is getting people to sign up for this scam by making it appear that you are going to get a discount from their company. It's nothing but a rip off which charges your account without your approval. I will never order from them again. They thrown off the internet

I wish I would have found this a long time ago. I am a person who just looks over my bank statement and doesnt really look into it. I ordered flowers for my mom like 4 months ago and I guess I have been getting this charge ever since. It is Sunday now and I am going to call them first thing tomorrow. I had trouble with Pro Flowers but they were really good with helping me and finding a way to work everything out, but because of this I will not use Pro Flowers again and I will tell everyone I know not to use it. I hope I get my money back.

I just noticed this $14.95 charge on my Amex bill. My husband pays our AMEX bill and he never questioned the charge as he thought it was some promotion I had authorized. We've been paying this for over a year! I immediatly called "Easy Saver" and they offered to cancel and refund the last two months. After I got off of the phone I did a search and found this site. Thanks for sharing your experience. It gave me the courage to call back and insist on a full refund. They transferred me to a specialist who agreed to refund the full 13 months I've been charged for this. I have NO recollection of agreeing to this programs. It is a total scam and I will NEVER order flowers from proflowers again. Thanks everyone! :)

I ordered flower in August 2008. The charges appeared in Sept, Oct and Nov. Each month was a 14.95 charge. I was not happy with cust service either. When I told the rep(BETH) what happened, she said she would stop the charges effective today. I said I did not want the program and did not want to buy this service for 14.95 a month. She said she would credit the Nov payment. I said is that all you can do. She said she could also credit the Oct payment. Again, I asked is that all you can do? She said yes, I can only credit the 2 most recent charges. I said can I speak to a manager. She put me on hold and when she came back she said she would also credit the Sept charge and that it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles to show.

This is sad. If the rep had appoligized and removed all the charges, I would have been happier than just trying to do as little as possible to get me off the phone. I was happy with ProFlowers service and quality of flowers before this. I was always told by the recipient that they were nice flowers. But, I won't buy from someone I don't trust anymore.

I just found out I was being scammed as well. I purchased flowers in September for a birthday gift and now in November I see two charges for 14.95 on my bank statement. I called and cancelled my "membership" that I never signed up for.
You see, when you make your purchase an automatically checked box appears at the bottom of the screen. This checked box is an agreement to the membership. If you click "next" then you are signed up for this membership. You need to cancel it with the email confirmation they send you. However, my email was sent to my spam folder so I did not get to cancel until now. They are refusing to refund my two payments of 14.95.
Why in the world would I pay 14.95 to save 15.00 on my next purchase!? In reality I save 5 cents!
This is one sad company who will not being receiving my business EVER AGAIN. I'm disgusted.

I experienced much the same thing. I ordered from Pro Flowers, didn't sign up for anything extra (I thought), didn't check my credit card statements closely enough, and subsequently found I'd been charged 14.95 six times and 1.95 once. The first person I spoke with when I called said she could credit my account the last two charges, but I'd need to speak to a manager about the rest. The manager agreed to remove all remaining charges. He said it might take up to two billing cycles, but all charges were removed within two weeks of my complaint.

It's absolutely a scam, otherwise I think they'd put up more of a fight when people ask to have the charges removed. My lesson learned is to check my credit card bill more closely each month.

I had the exact same experience as everyone else. I ordered flowers from Pro Flowers for my mother in May for Mother's Day. I just now realized that I had been charged $14.95 monthly on my credit card since May. I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute, closed the account, and will be issued a new credit card. I called Easy Saver and stated that I never signed up for this service. I was told that I had "joined" through Pro Flowers when I ordered in May. What a scam! I told the rep to cancel my "membership" and that my credit card company would be contacting them for a refund to my new credit card account.

When I saw this website, I had already become a victim yesterday. I just can't believe such trap.

It really scared me and made me mad that I was only told in the email that I would be charged. I couldn't even find out in the fine print how much membership fee I will be charged.

The business without honesty can't be a good one.

I too have had to deal with Easy Saver. They overdrafted my account and refused to pay for the overdraft fees. They claim that I also signed up with my email address after making a purchase through Pro Flowers. What makes it worse is that I also called Pro Flowers and told them and they were non challant about the whole thing. It was actually quite sickening. The rep at Easy Saver told me that they are aware of their reputation but it's the nature of the business. I alwasy thought good business was one of honesty and loyalty to customers. They're a scam and they're aware of it but simply dont care!

I also encountered the same problem and been charged for 4 month of $14.95. When I first call them, they insist to refund me for just to month. Later I read other people's comments and called it back. I told her that other people is getting all the credits back. Then she agreed to refund me all the money back without any questions. I ordered several times with ProFlower.com but I am totally disappointed at it!

Same type of deal, the charge appeared on my online bank account for $14.95. And, like other folks that have posted, I was hit with an overdraft fee from my bank. I called the 800 number this afternoon. The representative indicated that by using the coupon I was automatically registered for their Easy Saver service. What a SCAM! The service was cancelled and I'm told that I should see a refund in 7-10 business days.
The rep also gave me a cancellation number. I'm going to try to get the bank overdraft fee reversed with my bank tomorrow.

I hate ProFlowers, I got the same 14.95 charge on my account. I called the 1-800 number and the woman who answered said their was a whole page of information about the charges and by entering my email address to receive a coupon, I agreed to these charges!

The whole thing is bull, I will never use ProFlowers again!

And they reufused to give me a refund!

I had the same thing just happen to me. Same charges $14.95 twice and one $1.95 charge. I first called the 1800 number on my credit card bill only to get a recording that sounded like some sort of Talk Line that I never signed up for. Then I called my credit card company about it and they said they would look into it. In the meantime, I typed Easy Saver and the 1800 number onto the computer and it took me to ProFlowers. I called them and spoke to them about how there is so much bad publicity for them on the web because of this Easy Saver but they swear it is legitimate; however, any phone number they gave me was not working and when they tried to connect me directly they were not able to get Easy Saver either. I was told that Easy Saver would then contact me (I won't hold my breath), and as I continued to suggest to the woman at ProFlowers to end this whole Easy Saver Promotion because it is costing them a lot of buisness, she hung up on me and I was being very calm and polite. Anyway, I am done with ProFlowers too.

Well, I was upset to see the $1.95 charge on my debit card and was racking my brains out wondering what it was I bought for $1.95 and had to use a card for it.

I decided to google the EASY SAVER [protected]/11EASY SAVE and this site came up first. I was surprised because I was pleased enough with the proflowers delivery. It reached my parents on time as scheduled and they said the package was beautiful.

I do remember signing my email address for the $15 discount on my next purchase and should have known better to read the fine print. I just hope that's the end of that. I haven't been charged the $14.95 yet and hope I won't get charged. I called them and Linda canceled my account and said she will refund me the $1.95 within 7-10 business days.

I'm disappointed that proflowers has shared my debit card information... I guess that's the first and last time I'd shop for flowers from them online again.

I ordered Proflowers online.

completed order and clicked on FREE Shipping offer - which was actually a rebate of $15.00 off a future order.
Realized it was a scam and backed off that part of the site.

Shamefully just realized they'd been charging by Visa $14.95 for 10 months.
Called [protected] -customer service.

told them I had not completed the offer. They said they had all my email and address info - which of course had been submitted with the online Proflower order. Told them I knew it was a scam and I wanted a complete reversal of charges to my account.

rep transferred me to another person - I restated everything. They didn't blink - said I'd have full refund to VISA within 7-10 days.

PLEASE CALL THEM IF YOU WERE SCAMMED. THEY WILL refund. My order was --10 months-- ago.
AND don't use PROflowers ever again.

Something just told me to look at my checking account statement and there was a charge for $14.98 from Easy Saver. I called the 800 number provided and it was a recorded message about refinancing your home. I'm not considering or even looking at doing that at this time, so I know this is an unauthorized charge. Thanks to all of the previous complaintants it was very easy to convince my credit union that this was an unauthorized charge and get it removed. I really appreciate the Complaint Board!

PROFLOWERS IS PART OF THIS SCAM!
i totally got ripped off by them, apparently, as we all did.
the story is the same:
i failed to notice the $1.95 charge after ordering flowers from them - which they must have taken as a green light to go to town.
for the past four months they've been charging $14.95 for this service i never signed up for.
i am literally on the phone with PROFLOWERS as this is being typed, and they are hedging.
at first, they told me EASY SAVER was another company and is charging me monthly.
at which point, i objected to them sharing my credit card information with another company.

FOX, CNN, or MSNBC should do a story on this blatant consumer fraud.
i will NEVER purchase anything from PROFLOWERS - and it is my sincere hope you will avoid them as well, and spend your money with a more reputable company.

p.s.
i'm on the phone with PROFLOWERS -- and have been put on hold for close to twenty minutes now, while they call EASY SAVER.
i only wish you could hear the comedy they are performing.
you would think they were using a coconut shell to contact the international space station: "well, let me see if we can get them on the phone (apparently some new communication device".
"i have a supervisor on the phone, but she says the hold is going to be at least five minutes"
(if you're on hold, you don't speak to someone first)
"not sure if you want to keep holding, but they are backed up"
(not a problem... i'll wait)
"oh, darn! i can't believe it. we got disconnected"
(of course, we did).
THIS IS A SCAM -- CARRIED OUT BY PROFLOWERS.
