I just noticed this charge from Easy Saver and called their number on my credit card statement. I complained and asked how many times did the billing appear. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THAT QUESTION before you ASK FOR A REFUND. I had no problem getting the credit back to my card. I was on the call for about 3 minutes and "WON" BACK 4 x $14.95. They said it would take one or two billing cycles for the credit to appear. WHAT BOTHERS ME is the idea that loads of people DON'T KNOW they are paying for this and unless they happen to catch it like I did on their CC bill, this company is raking in the money! What a scam. I wonder what the ratio is of people who pull the plug and those who pay under the rug?

Your BBB complaint may start out something like this:

Mr./Mrs. X's complaint refers to EasySaver Rewards, a travel and entertainment membership program presented, through arrangements with ProFlowers, as an offer to their consumers after they have made an online purchase from the ProFlowers website. After the consumer makes a purchase from the ProFlowers website, including providing all of their billing information, they are provided to accept a membership offer to EasySaver Rewards.

I just figured out that Pro Flowers/Easy saver has been stealing $14.95 from me for the past several months...Guess they will be getting a phone call for a refund and so will the Attorney Generals office in a formal complaint, This is nothing but theft.

Unbelievable. I bought flowers for my mom LAST valentine's day (2008) and apparently I've been getting charged $14.95 since May 2008.

Now, I'm in college and my account is tied to my parents' account, so I don't really have access to it, but I come to find out now that I've been charged $14.95 for 13 months now, totally nearly $200.

I'm going to call this "EZSVR" hotline tomorrow and demand my money back, and then I'm going to call proflowers and lay into them. Not only will I NEVER do business with proflowers again, but they should be ashamed of themselves.

What a poor excuse for a business. Whether they knowingly subject their customers to this scam or not is regardless -- it appears they've received hundreds (if not thousands) of complaints about this, and the fact that it (and they, as a business) still exist is completely unbelievable.

Again, I'd better get my money back when I call tomorrow, or there will be in hell. In addition, I will never do business with this company again, and I will continue to speak out against this scam on other forums, including filing a report with the better business bureau.

They did the same thing to me. I'm on the phone right now with Capital One right now disputing these charges. Capital One has me on hold while they call the company.

They probably did slip something in small print somewhere. Why would anyone think that buying flowers for Valentines Day would turn in a $14.95 a month charge? You're just buying flowers for a holiday.

I don't know what deal Capital One worked out but I'm getting my money back.

I know I would never ever use, or recommend, ProFlowers. I can't see the sense in what their doing but I guess a lot of people just never catch them.

I experience the same with my credit card. This is a cheating. I wish they will be investigated and charged with a criminal charge soon.

OMG! I just noticed this has been going on since NOV 2007! (ok more fool me for not noticing...I had another monthly deduction for the same amount and every month assumed it was that!) I have called and been told a refund of almost $300 is on is way to me. In my mint they knew it was wrong...because no fight was put up, no argument...nothing...just sorry..and a refund...this ticks me off!

I just realized that I have been charged as well from easy saver and checked past statement and have been charged last month as well. I'm calling ASAP as well as my card company. Had decided not to purchase from Proflowers because flowers were not worth the price and now definitely will not order and tell others not to order as well.

Like everyone else on this message board, i too had these mysterious charges on my credit card. luckily it only went back 2 months though literally today they billed me again--the lady i spoke with, Patsy, was overly sweet and accomodating and didnt put up a fight. They count on people, just like me, glossing over the charge on their card and not saying something. While I am grateful i will be getting my money back, i think its [censored] that they are allowed to conduct business in this fashion. grrrrr.

SCAM NEVER BUY FROM PRO-FLOWERS...

I got charged too for $1.95 & $14.95. I told them that I never siged up for this, they said they are very sorry, but she kept offering other plans (like instead of $14.95 per month, she is authorized to give me the same benefits for one payment of $14.95). Please keep saying no to all their offers. Luckily, finally she said they will pay back both the amounts and cancel me from the membership. Hope they never charge me in the future!

Looks like they have been doing this for a long time and I am sure lot of people are paying without even knowing it.

STAY AWAY FROM PRO-FLOWERS

I also have been getting ripped off for the past 6 months and never noticed which is my own stupidity for not paying attention to my bank statements but its horrible what this company is doing to people, I was charged overdraft fees also from them plus about 5 other companies taking money out of my account every month. I will never use pro flowers again and will probably never buy anything off the internet in my life.

Well, low and behold, I finally paid attention to my c/c charges when I see I've been billed 3 times by Easy Saver since buying Mother's Day flowers. Unbeknownst to me, I apparently agreed to something by accepting a future "$15.00 discount". I just called them and insisted they refund $44.85 in bogus charges and cancel this "membership" immediately. I will be back w/an update. Next stop...FTC, BBB and my state Attorney General.

I ORDERED FLOWERS FOR A DEAR FRIEND IN A HEALTH CRISIS FROM PROFLOWERS AND A DAY LATER HAD THE 1.95 EASY SAVER AND THE 1.00 EMI ENCORE MARKETING CHARGES. I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR SQUAT. I ACTUALLY JUST CALLED THEM TO CANCEL AND REFUND AND GOT A CONFIRMATION NUMBER SO I WILL WAIT AND SEE HOW FAR IT GOES. I WILL NO LONGER USE PROFLOWERS AS WELL. THIS KIND OF MESS IS EVERYWHERE NOW, HAD SIMILAR YET WORSE SITUATION WITH THE CYLAPRIL "TRIAL OFFER" SO BEWARE OF THAT AS WELL. LUCKILY I HAVE A GOOD BANK...

Unauthorized Charges

EASY SAVER [protected] charged my credit card $14.95 6 times for a "service" they claimed I signed up for through an email address with ProFlowers.com. When I called to complain/inquire about the charges that were unauthorized, they refunded the charges. By the way, the employee, Ms. Hope, is very nice and friendly.

I'm feeling it is a SCAM and I won't use Proflowers.com anymore.

I just noticed this charge today and will be dealing with it tomorrow. If it's a one time only charge, then I'll be ordering from proflowers again (as long as I get a refund). If this is recurring, I won't be ordering from them again.

Just went throught the same thing. You order flowers on mothers day. You sign up for a 30 day free trial... they never notify you of ANYTHING, they just sit back and collect 15 dollars a month from you. The people at PRO FLOWERS were NOT very helpful about this. They said its a 3rd party I would have to cancel myself. I let them know that in MY BUSINESS if I work with another company I will take care of my customers needs. When I called EASY SAVER they are very aware that fine print is there business. I let them know that I was basically charged 45 dollars for a service that I never used. And was UNAWARE that I had. They canceled me and said they will reimburse me in 7-10 business days.

The woman continued to rattle off offers they had and I let her know that I did not appreciate and UPSELL when I am trying to cancel my service. Be aware of your transactions and inquire about ANYTHING out of the ordinary.

As much of you agree I too will not be using proflowers in the future. I see most of these posts are old. But BEWARE they are STILL DOING THIS!

This is ridiculous! Don't you think that Proflowers.com would come to their senses and take into consideration how many clients they have lost due to this FRAUDULENT company. I will NEVER use this company again. I just found out tonight and I will not stop posting until they have undone this fraudulent charging. WOW! I have been running and operating a company and I would never think of doing this to any of my clients. Small print my A**! Proflowers.com reevaluate your company priorities!

Same thing happened to me. I don't know how I missed that charge on my bill each month, but they cancelled the "account" and are refunding all my money. A lady named Betty was very nice and understanding, but I wrote a nasty email to ProFlowers about this and will never used them again. I'm going to make sure everybody I know doesn't use them either.

We just checked our bank account which we do often online and found a charge of 14.95 with Easy Saver [protected]. We also googled the number and Pro Flowers popped up. We called and spoke with them and they will supposedly refund it back to our account. If it's not refunded in the expected time, we will pursue this further.

I, of course, had the same issue! Unfortunately it took four charges of $14.95 and one charge of $1.95 for me to realize it. I kept seeing the charges and assumed my husband knew what it was so I didn't question it. I asked him one day what Easy Saver was and he had no clue. We immediately called the bank and they told us someone was manually entering in our credit card info and they would launch an investigation. We Googled Easy Saver and found they were affiliated with ProFlowers! My bank actually contacted Easy Saver and cancelled this "membership" that I had signed up for as a valued customer of ProFlowers. What a crock! Anyway I just called and got all the charges credited back and I will NEVER EVER EVER use ProFlowers again!

I just noticed the $14.95 "Easy Saver [protected]" debit when I pulled my checking account up online. I called my credit card company immediatly to dispute the charges and they told me to call the [protected] number. As reluctant as I was (I *67 my number so they couldnt get anymore info from me!) I called and they said that I did authorize them to charge my account! I was so angry, but after firmly standing my gound they refunded my account the $14.95, and said I should not see another charge. My bank told me to watch for other unautherized purchases, and to moniter my account as much as possible. They flagged the charge and are disputing it, but I'm still angry that this happened! I feel so violated! A company has personal information about me that I really dont want made public! How dare Pro Flowers take part in such a sneaky and scummy scam! STAY AWAY FROM PRO FLOWERS!

I am another person who was scammed by proflowers. Just noticed it when my account was overdrafted at my bank. I just dont see how this company can give out your credit card info to some other company legally. I saw the $15.00 off coupon and when i pushed on it it showed alot of info i had to put down well iwent ahead and deleted it but it did not matter i guess as soon as you click on the coupon they have you. I will never again buy from Proflowers what a fraudulent company and from all of the people i have seen on the internet dont know how they can still be in business.

I discovered this because I couldn't figure out what a $14.95 charge on my checking account came from so I searched "easy saver" and found this.

Called [protected] and gave them my information, and nicely and politely ask that they cancel further billing and promised to refund for the past 18 months that I have been charged.

A relatively painless, hasslefree call... now we'll see if I get my money back totaling $270.00!

I specifically said, "Hi...I never signed up for this service through Proflowers, I would like to stop further charges and talk about a refund." Her immediate answer was, "Is this through a debit card or credit card?" Then since it ws through debit, she offered a 12 mo refund through the bank card and the additional 6 mo through a check mailed to me.

I ordered from ProFlowers as well and received the unauthorized charges on my card. Canceling with Easy Saver was easy and I was assured that my money would be credited back to me. However, the people at Easy Saver are thieves as they are stealing money. I will NEVER use ProFlowers again and I will make sure that my friends any family follow suit because they sold my account information.

This is unbelievable, I checked my c/c statement this morning then went to the internet to find out who was Easy Saver that was charging me 14.95. Then I saw these posts. I called Easy Saver and they are closed on weekends. The most effective thing to do is go to your State Attorney General website and they all have a consumer protection link. Everyone needs to file a complaint. The Attorney General will take it from there.

Is is a bit disturbing to find 2 ads for Pro Flowers on the same page where 900 people have been ripped off. The only way to stop these people is to not take the advertising, then maybe the behavior will change.

I just noticed these charges on my husband's account, but it had nothing to do with ProFlowers. He's never ordered anything from ProFlowers before, so we're wondering how Easy Saver got a hold of him...anyhow, they've charged him a total of $61.80 now.
On 9/3, $1 each from Ez Saver and Money Edge, then 10/2 $14.95 each from both again, then again on 10/30 $14.95 each from both yet again.
I am SO upset right now.
He's going to call that 800# and request for a refund and membership cancellation. We have NO idea how we got "signed" up for this crap in the first place.
This is so morally and unprofessionally wrong of them.
