We are Andrea snd Bruno Marchesi, owners of Elite Manager FZ LLC, our company is opened in Rakez since 2019, from 5 months we are trying to open the bank account in your bank and nobody really care about us.
We were in contact all this months with employees from Rak Bank, we give all documents they ask, all requires but still not yet open.
We dont like how we were treated and also this delay it cost us a lot of money because our company is not able to be trully active because of this issue.
Is not possible to open a company in Ras al Khaimah and to not open a bank account in Ras al Khaimah... then why is allowed a free zine company is effectively you can not use the company because of the bank?
We do not like this sittuation and we will do everything to fix this bad sittuation for us.
For now, we want an serious answer why our bank account is not open when we send all required documents?

Business account online banking disabled
Rak bank business account for my company ademia middle east, gives ne no more access to manage my funds online. Although there is no liability or credit or overdraft facility, I have been unable to use funds on the account since i've found out on the 3rd of october 2020. After contacting the bank manager, the customer service on the phone, the online chat, several emails to the complaint office. Still nothing has happened. After 20 days. This is resulting in my business to be stand still. Generating late payment fees, including the renewal of my trade licenses, which prevents me to take new work until will be renewed. There is simply no interest on rak bak side to fix anything. Only standard answers - team is currently working on the inquiry - no reason no explanation no feedback nothing. It is disgraceful.

Charging over limit fee unnecessarily
I have been charged overlimit fees for the past 6 months and for the October statement I have paid 600 Dhs.
And have brought outstanding limit to 9500 Dhs, which is well within the card limit of 10000 AED.
When I checked the account online on 16 Oct 2020. It was within the card limit. But when the October statement got generated, again I have been charged overlimit fee of 285 DHS.
I really don't understand how your bank charging system works.
If you are not explaining this with proper complaint registration. I may escalate this complaint to central bank, UAE

Charging for credit card, never requested, never activated and never used.
I am rak bank life time free visa credit card xxxx7018 holder from 2005 for last 15 years. Now they are charging me aed 300 and when I enquired they informed that they upgraded the card to another category, but I have never requested for it, never used it. But they still insist pay for it. When I said I do not want such card with annual fee as I have citi bank credit they are not allowing me to cancel the card without paying the fee for which I have not taken any benefits, no, purchase using the card. And the customer care executive does not have an answer. They do not have an escalation step also... The only worst customer experience I faced in dubai.

Family harassment for rak bank credit card dues in uae
Despite my repeated pleas to RAKBANK for help, their collection agent, BILKISH ASSOCIATES continues to torment my family and me for payment. They are in communication with me on Whats App but yet continue to call my wifes nos to intimidate me despite me having requested them not to upset my family as my wife is a heart patient.
I lost my job recently in the UAE due to the Covid pandemic and am unable to pay at this stage. I promised them that I would pay when I got a new job
I think the next thing they will do is send people to my family house in India to trouble my family
Is there anything I can do to stop this torture

I received full and final settlement proposal from Mr.Azhar Akthtar Choudhary with Mr. Mahmoud Ibrahim Mahmoud, in 30th June, 2020. I received the mail from Bank at 3.22 pm on 30.06.2020, i made the payment with in 2 hour on same day at 5.34 pm as per my proposal. but still i didnt received my clearence letter not only also i am receiving harassment calls and mails from collection dept to pay all dues immediatly otherwise take legal action against me. i sent to bank about ths many times but there from no response till.
Sir I need immediate action for this matter as soon as possible

Cash stuck inside atm
My name is Mammen NK John.. oN 29/9/2020, I tried to deposit 6000 AED to my account though ATM com Cash depositing machine with code-0581 in Karama near City Mart branch. But I got an error message saying that the transaction cannot be processed and the money has gone stuck inside the ATM/CDM and the debit card also got stuck inside the machine. I have my relative in the hospital and I'm traveling also shortly. I need my money immediately. Please help me.

Worst experience ever with the rak bank
I asked them for negotiation for annual fees accumulated to 2377 dirhams of which 300 was annual fee and the rest was late fee
I was not in the country from past 1 year and these people don't even want to settle by talking just because Iam not in the country.Not even a singly penny was my loan and repayment, it is only the annual fee which i asked then to waive or atleast waive the late fee. Why are people like this in rak bank. If the same is the case with their mother or father and torture them like this will they be happy. Dont they also have problems like losing a job.
They just want to torture people for the money after it becomes huge but do not want to negotiate before. I explained them everything that iam not in the country and i want to resolve the issue.
It doesnt happen because they least care to negotiate thats all.

Metlife insurance cancellation and never ending issues
I asked for metlife insurance cancellation a month (november 2019) before it was reactivated, the customer service agent informed me that they will not continue the insurance without my approval since I called to ask for early cancellation. Also, I don't have intention to use the credit card anymore that's why I needed to cancel everything from them. To make the long story short, I was shocked (jan2020) that I got a bill notice that I need to pay the insurance again every month and nobody called me for reactivation. I called them many times but every time they are just trying to pass me to other agents, wait for the insurance team to call bla bla. Until finally they cancelled it last february 2020 and I believed I settled my account based on the last billing statement. Unfortunately, they kept sending billing statements again including late payment fees and whatever vat that was. I didn't mind it because I knew I paid already. Again and again they kept sending bill statements every month and the balance kept on increasing due to late payment fees. I called again (many times) to ask what happened. And I was informed that there was a mistake and since february I don't have pending balance with them anymore. Again to my dismay, same thing happened. Bill statements are coming every month, never ending issue. I don't want to call again and again and again. Don't get fooled by them! If there's a half star for how bad they are, I would click it.

I would like to raise complaint regarding the collection & legal department of RAK Bank Credit Card in Dubai.
I have been receiving calls and sms from their representatives that they will take legal action / file a police case against me for not paying my credit card.
I explained my situation to them but still they insisted for payment or I face legal action!
How am I suppose to pay when I dont have a job! I am really in a very big financial struggle until now!
They should understand that there is economic crisis
I didn't say that, I won't pay. I will pay the bank, but I want the bank to help me by reducing the amount.
Waive off the interest, over limit fee, late fee!
I request the bank to mail me a agreement/ settlement letter so that I can settle this at the earliest and become free from the debts.

Customer service, misinformed customer service staff and delay in releasing end of service benefits
The customer service in rak bank is below standard. I have recently changed jobs and provided rak bank with the documentation required in their branch as per the instructions of the live chat customer service representative. He informed me that I would need to provide a salary certificate, new visa, passport and original emirates id in order for my eosb to be released. I went to visit the branch with all the docs listed above bar the new emirates id as I had been told that the visa would suffice as eid takes a while to get printed post visa and the application form would be ok. The customer service representative in the branch took my docs but also informed me that I needed to provide a salary transfer letter. I informed her that I was only told to provide a salary certificate. She took the docs regardless and processed them. She then provided me with a template for my new company to use for the salary transfer letter. A few days later she contacted and advised that I needed clearance from one of my credit cards which was not related to rak bank, when I clarified this again she said she was not sure what the bank was asking. I then decided to purchase my credit report and it showed that I had 0 overdues and all was clear across my financial liabilities. I informed her of this and she requested that I come into the branch with the copy of my credit report that I had purchased and the salary transfer letter. I visited the branch and provided her with the letter and credit report. She told me to give her certain pages of the credit report and my slt which I did and she said my docs were up to date and it would be processed. A few days after that I then received a call from the branch saying that the slt provided was incorrect as it did not include my account detailed - bearing in mind the format they provided had no mention of providing account details. She then also said that I needed to provide the full report which I was willing to do but she had requested extracts. I have now received my updated slt and will be visiting the branch to provide these documents however, I have just used the live chat function once again to get an update and the agent has said that they cannot pull out information and visiting the branch was the only option. I then asked what the point of the live chat function is if they are unable to assist? Especially with covid times, surely it is safer to have a live chat function that can provide the same information as the branch? I then asked the agent on the live chat function if I could raise a complaint about the service I have received, the lack of knowledge and different information I have received from various customer care agents. The agent whose name was anupama then replied that there is no option to complain! How is this supposed to be a customer care line if I am unable to complain? I then asked if there was a contact number or email and again the agent kept saying there is no option to complain about customer service. This kept going back and forth and I kept receiving the same copy and paste answer that I am not able to escalate my concern to the complaints department and there is no option to make a complaint. The live chat ended with the agent then asking me if I wanted car insurance! I mean what a joke!
Long story short; this bank is the worst bank in the uae to deal with. The staff do not know what they are talking about and just seem to make up information as they go along. I was told when I transferred my salary and loan to rak bank I would receive the best customer service but this has been untrue. They are only nice when you want to sign up to new products and this has been proven as when I went to visit the branch to update my employment details the staff were rude, then my second visit when I mentioned that I wanted to open a savings account they totally switched tones and became polite in order for me to open another account with them!
Avoid this bank at all costs! As per the agent on live chat apparently there is no option to complain about the services received.
I have therefore come onto complaints board with the hope that rak bank will see this and take it to the concerned department if it does exist!
Harassment for loan recovery for a relative loan not even mine
I have been verbally abused by rakbank loan recovery team. My sister 47 yrs had taken a loan from rakbank and had defaulted or pending payments. I have no idea. The loan recovery team today called at 11.18 am and asked me to contact my sister and tell her to make the loan payment. My sister is in dubai why are they not contacting her and abusing me. Moreover they called my another brother and threatened him with fir. Why are they contacting us for the loan recovery for which my sister has taken? Why I have to suffer the abuse?

This is about to my Rak bank credit card which I am using from last 5 years. Because of the current pandemic I was not getting my salary so I requested to the bank for 3 months deferral but bank deny to do it and charging fee different fees in two months my card goes for over limit from 22000 to 27000 Aed I requested to the bank For monthly installment with reduce interest rate but bank doesn't want to do it. Now the minimum due amount is 3 times more the my salary which I ll not be able to make payment In this current situation.

Unwarranted charges
I am holding a RAK World Elite Credit Card bank, while observing my latest statement. I have been charged by AED 1156.53 as Finance Charges, While i have always done my payment before the Due Date historically.
I have provided remitter bank statement which clearly shows i have done payment on date 28.6.2020 towards RAK CC, showing Value & Posting Dt. as 28.06.2020
While in the RAK statement also it shows payment has been received via Inward TT Dated on 29.6.2020, while the due date for repayment was 30.6.20, all payments were done way before the due date, Still they have charges more than AED 1150+, while outstanding amount was only AED 52
Weird part is after repeated follow up with RAK Call Centre and Contact Centre email, there is no any response after being on call for more than 1 Hour & still waiting for courtesy response even after 5 Working days.
Always having strong repayment historically with RAK & Other Bank with high Credit Rating Score.

My credit card has been blocked I have missed 3 payments September, October and November 2019. After that I have paid the whole overdue amount and now my card is inside the limit. But still card blockage not has been uplifted and I'm still paying my minimum payment every month.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!
You have some good people there and I could see on their faces what a predicament they are in to work for such an entity.. Maybe they have no choice..
The rigidity and lack of customer service is unheard of..
Their rates are high and misleading when they call you offering only "0.69 %" per month flat per month.. Only!.
If there is fraud on the card they block everything including your account..
They are only interrested in taking your money.. They won't help and their
only worry is to get your money - nothing else.
Do yourself a favour and avoid because sooner or later you will find out what they are really all about the hard way..
I have never dealt with a financial institution with such disregard and disrespect for customers..
Rak bank - credit card issue
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Kindly consider as a official complaint against RAK BANK.
Recently i changed my company and they transfer my final settlement amount on 29 FEB 2020 .Unfortunately rak bank hold my money around AED 9500/- because i have their credit card (Every time i was paying their money own time until now i didn't paid any fine ) . So i visit RAk bank rolla branch and submit my credit card on 1- March- 2020. as per branch team they will deduct all dues from my credit card and remaining will transfer to my account with in 48 hrs. but after deduction of credit card settlement amount they release my amount on 08-03-2020.
But the issue is again they send statement to me and they are asking aed 447.14/- from My side. Kindly advise me what i have to do.This is same like cheating because of their side issue they are charging from my end and last feb 2020 they hold my all amount same like torturing with out any singly AED i faced lots of issue including my food rent etc etc..
So i hope you understood my issue . Kindly consider as a complaint against RAK bank and please do the needful.
bank closed my account , my FD interests and my money was not paid to em
Bank has decided to close my account in January 2020 ( 31 January 2020), I had 3 million dirhams of fixed deposit ending in april and may 2020.
My bank advisor promised my by whatsapp that I can keep the FD till its maturity and as he did not send emails I reconfirmed our discussion by email.
unfortunately the bank closed all my FD and they did not wire the money to my account with NBF or Masraf. so today my interests are not paid and 2, 500, 000 dirhams of my money is held with the bank and I have requested a fund transfer but bank leaves me just a check option without holding the check for me .

settlement for credit card
I had missed 3 payments for my Rak bank CC as they stopped messaging me when my payment was due and i have been making payment of atleast 500 aed monthly however the payment amount which i owe the bank I have called the CS team million times i cant reach the collection team i wanna close my card but i need an installment plan I DONOT WANT TO WASTE ANYMORE MONEY.
