The intent for this program is good when bills arise in between your pay period, however posts are delayed and when you call to resolve the information showing, you’re on hold for an extensive amount of time (currently over 45 minutes on hold trying to get to a supervisor/lead). “Customer service” is definitely lacking because they will disconnect you multiple times requiring you to call back and go through the long prompts once again with NO resolve! The “agents” are very difficult to understand as English is not their primary language so the need to get a full understanding for the money you worked hard for will cause an “unpleasant” experience, and that’s me being nice about it!
Terrible. Company, app. Not recommended
I can’t even believe I’m being forced to use this company. This new app won’t even recognize my login, even though I still have complete access on my computer so I know I’m using the correct information. Both the (previous) app and the website won’t even allow me to transfer money to my bank OR my bank card so I can use the money I do have on this card (I recently lost it). When I called hoping to request a new card, the phone options were incorrect so I had to start over with their LONGGGG intro (which BY THE WAY, they say at the VERY END of all the options that you may be charged for the call, which is absolutely absurd considering you have NO OTHER OPTION for help). I’m so fed up.
Rapid Replacement Card
Hi I’m Toi Johnson an I recently I countered sum strange activity wit my rapid account. I noticed at least 3 to 4 transactions to a prison Under “inmate financial “ adding up to more then 200$, so I did a dispute an canceled my card freezing all fund’s. Well I ordered a replacement card 3xs to same address an still have yet to receive one. April 9, 2022 I filed for a replacement card, but I still haven’t received it,may 8 2022 i placed another order, an still nothing. A representative also told me that since it’s on file that I have already tried ordering a replacement two or more times I would not be charged a Expedite fee, in which they still are charging me is it anything that can be done?

Will have issues accessing funds and when you try to call you will get an operator who can’t speak English that will not awnser your quistions all they can say is sorry updating system had this happen several times what happened to sending email or letter when company’s where shutting down or updating to let the customers know they won’t be able to access there account very inconsiderate and unprofessional I’ve had thousands upon thousands loaded to my account Over past couple years and this is 5th time I’ve had similar experiences they just lost me as a customer tellers should be speaking proper English and fully under it and should be sending notifications when having system issues very disappointed
Wrongly Inactive card
Two times going to pay for food when I’m out of state, and my card was declined, saying that it was inactive because a glitch in their system. I spent 45 min in the restaurant w my take out in front of me , getting transferred a total of 3 agents to be asked all my information 4 times including having to manually type in before a human…embarrassed, hungry, cold, tired ,on way to daughter from working …. End up angry my dinner would be cold and soggy and or end up making the restaurant waste a meal . I go home without dinner had no means of money aside from 10$cash. Too Disgusted to call to be sure they switched to an “active account”. I’m beyond unhappy. You owe me my Pho dinner ! Please Fix your tech! I don’t like to have to get angry
Bad Service!
I first got my RapidPay card from my first job everything went by smoothly. They let you see the amount of taxes that’s been taken out but then I got another job and decided to get another card and I tried to add my second card onto the account and it would not work at all. It continuously said I put in the wrong information when I knew everything was right and tripled checked
I was tired of having a long phone call process of seeing the amount of money I had on my card so I decided to delete my account and try to create another one. Your account gets temporary locked when you delete it so I decided to wait for a while, but nothing works with that account at all. And then, when you try to call the services to help you. No advice and say they can’t help.

Empecé a utilizar la aplicación hace más de 1 semana , luego de crearme una cuenta y llenar todos los datos correctamente, cuando intento realizar una transferencia de dinero, o cambiar mi pin o cualquier otra acción, me sale un cartel que dice “your account it is loked” es decir su cuenta está bloqueada, en definitiva, no funciona correctamente, he llamado a atención al cliente en reiteradas ocasiones y tampoco me brindan una solución clara, al final me dicen que en el sistema no sale bloqueada la tarjeta y que siga intentando cambiar el pin por el buzón de voz o por la aplicación, pero cada vez que intento hacerlo me dice la operadora que lo siente pero que esa operación no es válida que intente más tarde o contacte un agente, es un ciclo sin fin y sin solución.
Doesn’t work
This is my second time submitting a review, BEWARE of this app, I did not do my research before signing up through this, my company advertised it so I figured it was good but NO! I have been trying for two days to do cash pickup in store, the first time the register said it could not validate the transaction, this morning I got hold of a representative who told me in order to cancel the transaction I had to call my Human Resource department , of which they have no knowledge, we did a 3 way call and they never picked up was on hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes. I’m going to assume that the company I work for have absolutely no idea about this app, I’m gonna write to the president and urge them not to use y’all. Long story short my paycheck better be right when I get it next week.
Awful app and even worse customer service
I called a few days ago to report a lost card and I paid for expedited shipping. My card was debited the money for shipping and I was told my card would be here by today. When I called to check on the status of card, as I’ve not received it yet, I was told they don’t do expedited shipping, yet I was charged for it. I’ve linked my account to my PayPal so I can have money to live on and they won’t authorize the transfer of funds. And now when I call customer service to see about getting funds from my rapid pay account to PayPal they literally just hang up on me. My first deposit I received with them was days late due to an error on their part. If you use rapid pay don’t expect customer service to be at all helpful and don’t expect to receive your money, that you bust your butt off making, in a timely manner
Worst Account Ever
The Rapid Pay account is so useless. I tried to set up my account but it wouldn’t activate online so I had to call the number and activate my card. No problem I tried to call and see why it would not allow me to set up online access but when I questioned it the representative would say I’m not able to see why you can’t set it up you must be entering something wrong, and I couldn’t get what information I was entering wrong or they would hang up on me when I would ask what information was wrong! This was back in December. Now I’m constantly getting locked out of my card, they don’t have it so I can set up my bank account to transfer funds to my bank and the customer service is horrible so I don’t want to call! Don’t waste your time with Rapid or any of their affiliated companies. Green dot I’m talking about you.
Fantastic. Does what it says and low cost!
This feature comes in super handy if you usually get paid biweekly. You won’t get the full amount of money for the hours you work but it seems like it is a percentage of it. It definitely comes in handy the mid week after payday cause we all know how most of us go broke a few days after getting paid. Although I am paid biweekly, I consider myself getting paid weekly due to this program/app. As long as you have hours in at work and the next day it registers on the app, you can take out money. Just remember that whatever you take out does come out of your final check. The fee for withdrawing is crazy good as in $1 per transaction. I think it is different for how you withdrawal but if you link your debit card to it it is only a buck. If you’re short on cash for whatever reason, take a withdrawal out, pay the $1 fee, and the money comes instant! Glad my job has this program.
Always a problem
I always have a problem with this card. I tried paying a ticket once and I could not for some odd reason I did have enough funds, when I called to ask why I couldn’t the guy kept on asking “is your address correct where you are trying to pay at your convenience store or gas station” i don’t know what I’m address had to do with that because I was at a court house trying to pay a ticket. This next big problem I had funds transferred into my account and they are not there I called to ask them where my funds are if it’s taking a while to process they told me they didn’t receive any (I know for a fact funds were transferred at 6am) then said it may take a while for them to get to your account. I have waited an hour like she told me and my funds are still not there. I honestly would never recommend this bank never ever in a million years because it’s always a problem when you is this card.
Alright but not trustworthy and not reliable when I counted on your services
Most of the time I'm grateful to be able to pull money out from my check a little early ... but frankly I've had issues with your service a LOt lately and I'll never put myself in a position like that because I trusted I would be able to use it when I really needed it but your app wouldn't fail my request for on demand pay and then my corporation has to send me my money your app wouldn't succeed in giving me or failing so my money was in limbo for two weeks because your company couldn't help me or fix it and it's happened multiple times. Last week I was late in my rent because I put trust in your system and was let down. So I no longer will rely on your app and use it with discretion. I'm thankful when the all works smoothly though. You should warn people on holidays it seems your app has problems because that's basically been when I have issues and also randomly last weekend. Have a good day to who reads this.

Horrible experience
I’m not sure why they say it’s easier on the app when you can’t handle do anything but look. I would give this 0stars but you can’t. My whole ordeal with this card has been horrible. If I try to transfer money through anything to that card it takes about 2 weeks for it to be on the card. I requested a transfer from the card to my bank and I got it 2 weeks later and wasn’t sure where that money came from until I thought about it. And direct deposit setup DOES NOT work every time I set it up I’d still have to wait the whole weekend without my pay check until Monday bc I get paid Fridays. I’ve called the customer service number but they don’t help nor to they know what they are doing and the phone call is always delayed and some of them are rude like they are wasting their time. We can reload the card through western union and I did that over a week ago and on the site WU it says 1-2 days to complete and it’s a week later and on my acct on WU it says complete. My temp agency has taken care of it.

The card issued to your account isn’t even under your name it’s a a registration code you have no way of knowing until you get the card and if that doesn’t make sense EXACTLY! It doesn’t it’s not worth it TRUST ME. It would be more of a hassle for your employer to release funds into your rapid account than just getting a regular bank account. Please do not make the mistake I did signing up for this foolery, you will regret it. Hopefully you read the reviews before signing up unlike me because I learned the hard way just don’t bother. The worst company to trust with your money!
I have had countless fraudulent transactions while having never used my card once on any sketchy website, atm’s or gas stations. I have had 4 different cards in 2 months, all with different PIN and log in info, and yes all have been hacked. (I did get my money back which didn’t happen for a few weeks though). I have now opened a cash app account to transfer every cent that hits my rapid pay check account due to my mistrust towards them and ignorance/low-grade security on their behalf. I have transferred my money a few times to my one and only cash app account and now all of a sudden Rapid is holding ALL of my money in an online purgatory rather than authorizing the same exact transfer to the same exact account I’ve used before without having any issues. Now, out of nowhere, an issue arises. Rapid is now telling me it’s going to take up to 5 days to get my money when the first transaction took less than 24 hours and lesser time with each transaction thereafter, until now! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES OR FOR A TEMPORARY ACCOUNT WHILE YOU'RE IN BETWEEN BANKS. Either Rapid employees are stealing my money or their security is that garbage that anyone can log in and use your account as their own. To top it all off, the language barrier of 98% of their customer service reps just exaggerates the level of frustration I harbor with this company. I rarely submit reviews and this company definitely deserves a whopping “0” stars in every department possible. Hopefully this helps my peers make a better decision about who to and not to bank with.
Fraud Ops Inactivated Card, Can’t Access MY Money
Help lines are HELPLESS! They’re trying to extort my ID from me by inactivating (their word) my PayCard (which doesn’t allow me access to my pay) until I fax them my photo ID to an unidentified fax number to an unknown entity over an unsecured network thereby compromising the very so-called protection they say is behind this extortion! So many calls, reps hanging up on me or leaving me on hold from 20-30 minutes smh while struggling to come up with logical reasons for this wickedness and then apologizing over and over when unable to make it make sense. I’ve cried so much today I’m surprised I can still see clearly. I have no money though I have some in the account being held hostage by this bootlegged shiesty shady low-budget company. I’m contacting the ComplaintsBoard.com, FDIC, the bank the card is issued through, as well as Visa and anyone else even remotely connected to this evil organization. Hopefully a lawyer will help me make them pay for this devastating injustice. All the reps have a foreign accent, so you know the company is not in America, but what’s odd is my purchases suddenly get declined though there is money to cover them, and I see on my account via the app that my bank transfers were cancelled by “Fraud Ops” who never contacted me to even verify any questionable transactions or transfers between my accounts, all with my name (the same name that is on this account) like NFCU do so they don’t inconvenience a family from their hard-earned money. I’m canceling this card ASAP once I get in touch with Pathward N.A. Bank. It was a blessing to receive my pay quickly for the shifts I worked , but this headache and heartache is not worth it at all! I hope all responsible get to experience such devastating experiences on them a hundred fold and remember how they treated this desperate, pleading and crying mother and nurse who suddenly had her funds held hostage for NO GOOD reason!

This is the worst experience I have every had in life dealing with a pay card I advise all employers to NEVER use them for your employees. It's been 3 weeks and they still have registered me, and it takes w4 hrs to do any checking while they push you off again. Funds are held up for no reason. I grade them F+. Please close the company as a favor to employees.

Rapid pay atm scam
On October 12, 2023 I was working and realized that someone had taken money out of my card while I had the physical card on me. One transaction of $341.00 and another of $400.00. Around $700 was STOLEN from my debit card. I was devastated. I contacted RapidPay customer service and they Said they were going to help me and they did not. They made me file a dispute just to deny me, then asked me to file again, just to also probably waste my time and deny me. I sent proof of my police report to rapid pay customer service through fax AS REQUESTED, which the police has also not helped me either. It was withdrawn inside a Walgreens in Las Vegas on Tropicana and Decatur. Very unprofessional. Very unsatisfied. Rapid! pay is not trustworthy. Rapid! Pay is not reliable nor helpful.

I had an issue with a debit card on file that had just expired on the mobile app. The funds requested for OnDemand transfer was in the amount of $90.00. I had made several phone calls to the Customer Service agents at RapidPay with no resolution. I was told that if the website shows that the transaction has been completed that there is nothing you can do on your side. I had contacted my bank and they told me that there has been no deposits from your company. I have never had a bad experience up until now, and that the issue lies with the fact that I can't edit my card information on your mobile app. I can only delete the card after I have added another debit card.
I would like to have this issue resolved and looked into. I am able to provide proof with bank statements to show that no deposit was issued.

Useless, latent, inoperable… What’s the point?
What’s the point of this app… if I can not even view recent transactions and “real-time” account balances? What is the point of opting to login with Face ID, only to have to enter my password every single time? Which brings me back to my original conundrum… what’s the point? I can not view my balance or transactions… so why bother logging in. Lastly, while the customer service representative I spoke with today was truly a kindhearted individual… my concerns and questions were not addressed. So, what’s the point?
No customer support
I got this card as a first pay check from my employer. It was compromised before I even used it. International charges started appearing immediately. I told my employer and was issued a second card. The same thing happened and unauthorized charges appeared within a day of activating my new card.
I tried calling RapidPay to report the fraud and was put on extended hold, then was disconnected repeatedly. I have not reached a live person after hours of waiting on hold.
Zero customer support and no getting my money back

Disappointed with the effort made on the banks end to rectify my issue with a purchase that was returned. Customer service was not helpful and gave me no real answers. I returned items to a major box store and have had it stuck pending while other times it always went through almost immediately. No real reasons where given why this issue is happening and still do not have access to my money. Unfortunately I am in desperate need of the money and I was told that there is nothing that can be done to help me through this situation.

My 2nd transfer, to same account, I wasn’t notified of possible 3 to 5 days (I thought 1st transaction was verification process) after app had me circling, I figured how to speak with representative that didn’t speak good English (I asked to speak with supervisor) transfer me to another RapidPay representative (not supervisor) both employees could only tell me ; “It may take 3 to 5 business days for processing, I’m sorry”

You've made it so difficult to figure out how to get this started. I was looking forward to using this service occasionally when needed. But now I'm worried it would even work. You guys have no time card for me and I can't get any money but you now have my social, card information, my address, where I work... All that info just for your service to say "There is no time card or payroll history available".
That would be fine, but then you don't even have any prompts to fix or change anything. Don't use this app guys. Just be smarter with your money.

Frustrated
I am so frustrated about how rapid pay advertises this services. I am capped at $106 per day & can’t borrow more than this. If I have a large bill to pay, I have to keep borrowing daily until I have enough funds to pay my bills. After calling, they told me that there was nothing they could do because the amount per day I can borrow is based on my time sheet. The same applies when I was a salaried employee, so that doesn’t make sense. It’s something, but so frustrating & annoying. Rapid pay takes out the full total amount that I borrow from my paycheck though. It’s a trap that I’ll hopefully be out of soon.
Worst Card Service EVER
Ok, so I accidentally lost my card and called Card Holder Services and spoke with a nice lady, that explained; when I asked about expediting my replacement card. She stated for$35.00, I can expedite your replacement card to arrive tomorrow. Well tomorrow is here, the card however is NOT. So I called this evening and was told,”we cannot send out a card overnight.”, your card will be there Thursday; which is tomorrow, so now I am told a different story. So the nice lady tonight stated, “ if you do not get your card tomorrow; you can request the $35 be returned to you. Why would that help me? I don’t have a card!
Customer Service
My review is not about the app, but about customer service for RapidPay. I was able to gain access to my account on this app after 5 months of contacting customer service just to get hung up on each time because they didn’t know how to help me. FINALLY, a super helpful customer service rep answered me today and found the problem was that someone I previously spoke with misspelled my email address. I wish I remembered his name. Out of everyone I spoke to he was definitely the most helpful and able to communicate with me efficiently. Overall, customer service is a nightmare to deal with. I wouldn’t use this debit card and app if I didn’t have to.

It says/said that I had funds available yet it wouldn’t let me withdraw the money to my bank account. Finally I decided to just go the cash route…I was a day late after the cut off. Only it never gave a timeframe, never hinted that you couldn’t pull out money 9 days before a bi monthly pay period. Zero communication Not connecting to my back account Have to pull funds out before 10am day of but you can’t pull out monies in the evening so you have to process the transaction before 10am. It’s completely obnoxious that I can see funds ready to be pulled out yet I can’t touch them. Just a sucky app, very cool premise just horrible execution. One star 100%
Trust issue
I’ve been receiving money on this card and 30 get took from me every pay check for some reason the ppl I work for can’t figure it out or the rapid card ppl can’t either I have requested a new card changed it and still money is been taken off my card idk what to do atp because they say they can’t use my personal bank or give me check definitely wouldn’t recommend it’s hard time and ppl are taking our hard working money and nobody is putting in work to get the money back stayed on the phone for hours they suppose to have me a credit it’s almost 2023 and I still haven’t received that credit and still getting money took from me someone is hacking these cards
Time cards not accurate and doesn’t adjust for raises
The app is constantly 2 to 3 days behind on hours worked and often doesn’t show you the full half of your pay that should be available.I’ve also had problems with punch time accuracy. The app needs serious work. It also doesn’t adjust itself when you get a raise.I’m thankful that Harbor Freight Tools given us this resource tool to use if we need to but I feel like just like with the rest of the company, the hardware to software compatibility isn’t what it should be. We’re either running new software on dinosaur hardware or machines that were around at the time of the dinosaur, (or as in this app), we are running terribly undeveloped software across multiple operating systems.
Rapid wages does not update to show available wages, this is the 3rd pay period in a row. Almost 2 months and I haven’t been able to get any available wages.
I always get paid 9 to 10 am I haven’t got any money from my paycheck and it’s 12 now there saying it might be a 24 hour delay makes no sense when im supposed to get paid everyday Friday this is a crime
