We decided not renew our subscription to Readers Digest and told them so. Of course they ignored this request and charged our credit card $32.98. When we complained about this they returned $21.98 to the credit card keeping $10.99 we complained about this oversight they ignored us again. They haven't returned any emails or money. What right do these crooks have to steal from us? I know this isn't much money, but why should we give it away to a rich company for nothing? We sure don't owe them this money!

What! You can't make it easy for people to find out what the gift is? What is wrong with you? You people should be ashamed of yourselves. I will NEVER get Readers Digest again!

I filled out the information regarding a free music CD and surprise gift. I was suspicious of "something for free". I fully intended to cancel upon receipt of the music CD. Later I received an order confirmation thanking me for the $20.97 order. Hummm some free CD and surprise gift which appears to be 6 books about learning numbers letters, colors etc. Just what a 68 year old needs. Sorry RD, this time you struck out.

Was promised a surprise gift and could not even find a spot to log in as they said. I thought that this was a legitimate company.

Guess not!

I have wasted about an hour trying to find out who is sending me this magazine, and I am thoroughly disgusted. So quit wasting my time and give me an answer. I'm not as rude as you are, and would like to say thank you to somebody.

I tried to enter 'jackpot' which was not possible. A reputable magazine like RD seems to be resorting to 'bait' on the net. This is shameful !

Imagine my surprise while trying to access this site to enter the latest contest to find out the site "DOES NOT EXIST". I think this constitutes false or misleading advertising and from what I have read it seems that this is not the first time Reader Digest has done this.

I received a card in the mail for a chance to win a 2008 Lexus. I was given an access code to enter this contest before March 19, 2008 and when I attempt to enter this contest, nothing happens. There is no site for this entry. Is this a true contest or not? I also received another one earlier that I was not able to access. Please e.mail me and indicate what is up on this, I would appreciate it. I sure would like the chance to win a car as I do not have one. Always trying though. Thank you, Carol.

Just wondering if this is a bogus Reader's Digest Canada Sweepstake? The "Lexus IS 350 could be headed your way...", there is no such web site that I can find where I could enter the access code that was under the seal that was sent to me today in the mail. If this is a scam, then they can keep their junk mail to themselves!

I just think its sad that a company has to scam the hard working public who would certainly love to win a new car, just for their own twisted satisfaction and profit! P.S. I have enough garbage i certainly dont need yours, please keep your postcards to yourself!

We also received a card with the chance to win a new Lexus car. We would like the chance to win one.
When we try to log in to this site, nothing happens. It is a shame to mailout these bogus entries. Don't send us any more of these cards. We always thought Readers'Digest was a reliable company, now we have our doubts. Marguerite

If your such a big company, why do you not have your own website for these so called sweepstakes. I also received a card for a lexus and I am unable to find where to enter the code.

I too got such a code to win a car but cannot fine a site to access and enter my code. After spending lots of money on products in hoping my chances of winning would be better I am disappointed that I cant even find a site for such contest. Will be thinking twice before spending another dime.

I agree another Reader's Digest SCAM. A large company and all they do is SCAM their Scribers. It is strange how no one ever seems to win or it is the same pictures of winners that have won other contest but just a different name under the picture.

Readers Digest enclosed a card offering one of five 16GB ipod touches, and giving an access code to enter. There is no competition available on the website they give.
Does anyone ever win a Readers Digest competition?

I also received a card with an access code number to enter an RD"win a new iPod touch" contest. I could not access this site or get info on the contest. Come on Rd- what are you trying to pull? BS like this will help me decide when renewal time comes-unless I can get a satisfactory explanation.

I DO NOT KNOW WHY READERS DIGEST PUT OUT THESE CONTESTS WHEN YOU CAN NOT GET ON THEIR WEB PAGE. IT IS A REAL SCAM PROBABLY TO TRY AND COLLECT INFO TO SELL TO OTHER COMPANIES
