mac cheese
Go to red rooster quite often for tea as we work late . Decided to try a mac and cheese for the first time .
I asked the sales assistant if there was more than one size, manager said that there was only 1, a salad type black plastic hinged bowl was shown to me ( fairly decent size ) price $8.99, looked like it would do for a meal on its own, judging by the poster on the counter, yes please, 1 of those .,
What I received was approximately 5 level tablespoons of mac and cheese, sadly loitering in the base of the bowl !
What a rip off !, Very disappointed :(
Not even a 1/4 of what was advertised in store in the visuals. At least have the decency to attempt to replicate what you are advertising !

stanthorpe manger nicole peake
Im putting in a formal complaint about stanthorpe manager Nicole. She is yelling, screaming, swearing and threatening my 14 year old son. It has happened 3 times in the last 3 weeks. He is not the only one. He is to upset and distraught to return to work. He is ready to quit. Red rooster is supposed to be a family friendly restaurant, where minors can get their first jobs and enjoy earning their own cash. They shouldn't be going to work getting threatened. Something needs to be done about her. It is illegal the way she talks to minors. I will be seeking legal advice.
incorrect order
Hi, I've just received my order via Uber Eats from Red Rooster Stafford, Brisbane Queensland and it was incorrect. I immediately called the restaurant to find out what was going on, only to be told that they were sorry (which I do appreciate) but first of all blamed the driver until I said that my name was on the bag. Then I was advised that one of the items I had order was no longer availble and that they needed to take it off the website (?) Finally I was told that they had tried to call myself and the driver (I had no call) My order was:
dounut Dippers but I got pineaple fritters (I don't even like pineapple)
Tub of Magnum Icecream, I got a Magnum Iceblock and 3 Billabong Ice creams
Choc Moose, this was the only correct item.
My order was $27.49.
The gentleman I spoke to was nice about it and apologised, but said there was nothing more that could be done. Not great customer Service at all from Red Rooster and unfortunately I won't be ordering online delivery again.
drive through minto
I would like to submit a complaint regarding the drive through at red rooster minto due to my cars back right tim has been completely scratched and damaged. The gutter at this drive through is appalling due to how much it sticks out and when it is busy it's hard to do anything about it. I noticed I was a little close and the person behind would not move a fraction back so I could reverse to miss the gutter. Due to this I now have damaged my rim where it would need to be replaced and I would appreciate if you would consider compensating for the costs of that one rim. Please look into making this drive through wider so this doesn't happen in the future.

We have just returned from Stanthorpe Qld where we purchased a large order from the Red Rooster store 123 high street, Stanthorpe .Qld. 4380 AC:[protected]
I have been a customer of Red Rooster for many years and I have not come across such a problem before. It was too late at night to return to the store in question and we were leaving very early to return to Beachmere the following day'
On ordering the meals for my family I had to repeatedly ask the young lady at the counter to speak up and slow down, unfortunately my hearing is not the best, but despite the request nothing changed in speed and volume, even my 16 year old grandson had difficulty understanding her.
During the transaction the manageress came out and assisted, (apparently the girl was very new, ) the manageress was very curt and quite rude as was the young man behind the counter when I was trying to explain I was hard of hearing and was having some difficulty, She made it quite clear she was not remotely interested .consequently our order was a total mix up and we actually didn't get what we ordered. We arrived back at our accommodation just up the road only to find the food was near on cold, not freshly cooked, and had obviously just been reheated before serving. It was not appetizing at all. I was very disappointed as a lot went to waste.
I feel like we were not treated in a manner that is expected in a Red Rooster store that I hold in high regard as far as customer satisfaction is concerned and feel I should be compensated for an order that was $100 dollars worth of rubbish. Your attention to this matter would be appreciated.

bones in food
I'm here to complain about the order I just recived about 10 minuets ago from red rooster clarkson
I ordered a $5 chicken loaded chips and $5 10 nuggets.. I've gotten home to enjoy my meal that I've just spent money on to be chocking on a bone 1 minuet later, it's not a small bone, I'm very disappointed and as the bone is sharp I'm lucky I didn't swallow!

We ordered a mates share pack. However we did not receive chips with the meal. We paid $33 to then not receive chips. I have tried calling the store 3 times and no answer. [protected] That was my online order number. Food was ordered 6th June at 6:01pm we received the food at 6:53pm so nearly an hour wait to not receive chips. I would like a refund for the meal.

Sunday lunch time we went inside to order We ordered 4 loaded chips and chicken packs and a large chips. They gave us 1 loaded chips and the large chips. So we went back in to get the order right and they gave us 3 loaded chips and nothing else, so we had to go back inside again to get the other loaded chips and large chips. We also had to go back in to get forks and napkins they only put 1 fork and a couple of napkins in. So after our order was finally right and got to the park for lunch. ( it was my birthday and I'd seen the add on Facebook for the loaded chips and wanted the for my birthday lunch). We started eating and there was no salt on the chips and very little gravy and not much chicken. It was not a very nice experience having this as a special meal with my family. I'm really disappointed with the service and quality of the meal.

I just went through red rooster In Joondalup.I just brought a large Tropicana meal and an extra 2 pineapples. The time that I waited in the drove through was about 10 minuets which isn't that acceptable. When I got to the window, the lady didn't say sorry for the wait. I paid for my food and drove to a park which was 2 minuets away. The chips were just on the border of being warm, the chicken was such a small piece expecially for a large meal and the 4 pineapples that I got were cold. Overall I am not happy at all with this service and I will not be coming back anytime soon

I attended the red rooster store at Springvale Victoria yesterday, after getting bad service when i was ordering my food, i only asked for a whole chicken and was told to drive through, i still had more food to order. Then when i got my food the lady closed the window and left without giving me my drink. Getting home i found the rolls on the Rippa meal and the Lamb roll were stale.The chips were just cooked were very pale . I expect better than that for the prices i am paying . When i have complained before i was treated very badly so this time i didnt complain to the manager at the store. They need to improve their game.
family pack
I attended Red rooster store in Kilsyth at around pm on Sunday evening to buy our usual family pack ( normally purchase from the Fern tree gully store but as i was passing Kilsyth i stopped in there) ordered a family pack (chicken, chips, peas, an gravy)and 3 pieces of corn.
When i got home we dished up the meal and found that everything tasted almost as strong as straight salt, the meal was inedible and as such we progresses to toasted sandwiches for dinner.
My wife called the store to lodge a polite complaint and to ask for a refund on this inedible meal (product mostly available to be returned, not consumed but the lady who was the store manager and sounding as young as about 16 told us that it was company policy not to refund people without a receipt? ( this is difficult when the attendant binned the receipt rather than give it to me) which i don't mind but interesting to say the least and nor would they replace the meal. we persisted with the fact that the meal was inedible and ere told that even with a receipt that the store had a policy of no refunds?
I don't normally complain but in this instance i found the level of customer service to be appalling.
I both would appreciate a refund of this meal as we could not consume it tasting stronger than sea water, and would appreciate the store manager sending us a written apology.
as a regular and weekly customer of red rooster and having never complained in the past i just cannot believe that we were spoken to in the manner we were or refused a refund.
The process needs to be reviewed, if a product is not up to scratch it should be refunded or replaced and i'm pretty sure that that is common law.
and finally i think that Red Rooster management need to step down the Sunday evening store manager or at least offer some customer service training, clearly she currently has none.
We have purchased this same meal from FTG store many times and never have we faulted it, always good, possibly the store manager should be relocated to this store for training ...

half chicken n chips
I bought a half chicken n chips at Gracemere on the 23rd April.
The chicken was not a half but 2 small pieces.
I buy Red Rooster most days at various stores as I am a truck driver.
I have a photo on my phone which i can provide if necessary.
I would appreciate a credit as i am a loyal customer.
If not i will take my business elsewhere.

Ate at the Aspley Restaurant in QLD and ended up being hospitalized with Viral Gastro ..we ordered the fish and chips (which was mine) and my partner ordered the large ripper combo... lost 2 days work as I have been extremely crook. Called to complain and the "manager" offered to refund only half the cost of our order! Not acceptable as I'm definitely seeking further compansation! If an agreement is not reached then I will be taking this a lot further!

Hope you guys going well. Here I am one of the employee of red rooster (484 sunnyholt road parklea) who has been working since a long time at the red rooster very honestly and punctually. Nobody informed what was actually going on at the back end of the store with the managers. As usual we got our next week roaster for 9th april 2018. Even our manager had not told us any single thing and closed the red rooster store for one week on monday 9th april 2018., and said it will be closed for the maintenance purpose for a monday. At the night time he sent the message in facebook group "the store will be closed for the maintenance purpose for tomorrow as well. Again at the night we got same message up to wednesday. Finally he said it will be close for this week and will be opened on monday 16th april 2018. But this had not happened. No single body has been informed about opening instead one apology email from our store manager. No body had been paid their fortnight pays. It is our 4th week going on waiting for money and its reopening. We have our lot of expenses to pay. We cant rely on this for a long time. But we need a money. I don't know about the other staff who clearly who has been paid by manger up to now. But am waiting for my pay. It is worst time going on in my life without money. Even no body is hiring instantly at the moment. Totally jobless and out of money. Please reply as soon as possible.

saw staff member using bare hand with gloves touching cooking chicken into boxes and chips, then touching doors, fryers, and other items then touching cooked roast chicken.
I called her out name Kristy (i think) she identified as she was the shift supervisor.
she denied bluntly touching the chickens and gave abusive attitude saying to me "off course you are right as all customers are right". you can complain if you wish to anyone you want and walked away.
two packs of the chicken was cut badly for quarter and cold chips.
i have worked in red rooster for 5 yrs i would not dare do this.
she should be fired for health and safety and bad conduct.

I paid the extra $2 but it was never put on. When I rang the store the person said it was put on and that what I was saying was dodgy. The store was Deagon and it's not the first time that store has done this to us.
Apart from not being able to understand the Indian staff they need to keep their hair out of the food. We will no longer support Red Rooster Chiken. Thank you and we will let all know about the dirty.

I drove to the drive through to place an order the store was empty not one single person in the shop or the drive through. I waited at the ordering point in the drive through no one responded so I continued to drive to the window only to be told why didn't I wait. I said that no one responded so I continued to the window. The response was that I needed to wait they were coming soon. They were doing nothing they were just leaning over benches gossiping and then they rudely took the order. The order was not satisfactory as everything was cold it was thrown in the bag and it all fell apart, and I had to ask for the drink. This was all done by the Store Manager. They can not afford to treat customers in this manner. I like red rooster on occasion but I am not sure now, it will take a long time for me to go back especially if the same store manager is there.

On the 3rd of March the Manager at Red Rooster Theresa Siemsen rang my grandson who works for the North Red Rooster at 9:00am who was supposed to work today and lost it at him about coming in to work at 11.45am She is a very unreasonable Manager and she treats them all like slaves and she is always yelling at them even the others Managers don't like her.

28/02/18, at approximately 18:10, I placed an order at your Red Rooster store in Noranda, WA. As I stood at the counter I could see clearly into the kitchen area. What I witnessed both shocked me and disgusted me at the same time. A male person later identified as Mark. S, used his bare hands to pickup a dirty greasy box which had been laying on the floor near the chip fryer and handed it to his colleague. Mark then proceeded to open the cooler door and without washing his hands, collected several pieces of unwrapped food and placed them into the fryer basket which was then placed into the frying oil.
I asked the counter girl to bring this man over so that I could raise the point of food safety and hygiene, to which Mark denied doing such an act. I explained exactly what had take. Place in front of my eyes to which he then stated he'd changed hands, again I challenged him on what I had seen. I asked to speak to the manager, to which he replied he was the manager, I asked for his identification to which the counter girl stated we do not need to give our identity. Now being a manager, not only does it surprise me the blatant dishonesty of his actions, also it of question why a counter girl would be speaking on behalf of a manager. I asked for the owners contact details to which he then stated he was the owner. Given the scenario played out so far, I sincerely doubted his stated roles in the business because if that is the level of poor integrity, standard of food handling and the succession of employee placement whereby a young counter girl can interrupt a conversion with a supposed senior manager or business owner then I think it's aboout time a review was done into who's running the business and who's managing the standard of professionalism, process and procedures In quality and safety of the food with which I order and pay for. I was astonished at the entire experience as if nothing was of concern to both the counter girl nor the manager/ business owner or whatever position he actually held. I was refused any further information as to making a further complaint to which I asked for my money and left the business. Let me tell you that your shop was not empty and the customers present seemed very shocked at the behaviours that I identified in regards to the method of food safety and the sheer ignorance of any person not willing to take responsibility for these hygiene risks.
