I called 2 weeks ago to discuss making group reservations at a local hotel for a training I am doing. The representative quoted me a rate, agreed to hold 5 rooms at that rate and told me to have guests contact him to get rate. When they tried to make the reservation, they were told that rate was not accurate. I spoke to him, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I spoke to his supervisor who informed me this rep never should have promised me what he did and they could not book group rates. They were unable to do anything to help me and now I am working with the hotel to come up with Plan B. Very upset that this employee made such a serious mistake and the company is taking no responsibility to fix it.
I made a reservation with ReservationDesk.com and needed to cancel the reservation. I called to the hotel they used to book for me and they told that there is no booking for my name. I then tried to contact someone from reservation desk and they didn’t pick up the phone.
Agent misled and misquoted. Location of hotel was to be immediately off Interstate, but was 8.5 miles (15 minutes away)
Price quoted was $74, billed $84, but room rate was $58
Irate with customer service who said it would be taken care of, but have no response
I booked a room through them and they charged me more than what the room actually cost at the hotel. When I called to get a refund, they would not refund my money. DO NOT USE THEM!
I thought I was talking to Choice Hotels directly. I paid $15.00 more than if I had contacted the hotel. If I cancel, it will still cost me $8.00. Very deceptive.
