Rimrock VI, LLC didn't fulfill agreement. Sales manager laughed at me and said not my problem. I said it is. It was part of the agreement when I bought the car. Never buy here again.

In an effort to make a really long story short, I wanna give a quick glimpse into the experience we had with Rimrock Auto when buying a vehicle from them. Our nightmare purchase experience with Rimrock Auto for our Yukon XL started with an employee who had been convicted of a felony (a serious driving-related crime, mind you) delivering our vehicle several hours late. He got his story mixed up about why he was late (first he got pulled over, then he said he ran out of gas and a cop checked on him and searched the car). He even showed up with a brand new gas can as "proof" of running out of gas, but it was suspicious since the can was unused! The nightmare continued when we had to put $4,000 towards a new transmission, just two weeks after owning the vehicle. We were estimated to spend $5,000 on repairs. Thankfully, Mike from Rimrock Auto's service department agreed to cover $1,000 of the repairs. We spent $40,000 on our Yukon XL, and before even driving it over 55 MPH or putting more than 100 city miles on it, we were told we needed a new AC condenser and transmission. I'm writing this review to share our experience and warn others. You can probably find the vehicle you want at many other dealerships with better customer service. Unfortunately, I chose not to buy an extended warranty and bought it "as is." These decisions came back to haunt me. Regardless of the warranty, I expected Rimrock to have the integrity and ethics to make things right. I would have understood if it was something simple, but a transmission and AC condenser require a different response. Rimrock agreed to "cover the labor" for the repairs, but I wished they had enough integrity to cover 50% of the costs and offer a sincere apology. I bought the vehicle on May 8th and by May 22nd, I had taken it to three different auto shops for answers. It went into "limp mode" several times while driving, and I had to tow it to the GMC dealership for a third diagnostic test, as requested by Rimrock. I had to get a new transmission and AC condenser installed. Additionally, my temporary tags expired on June 17th, and as of today, June 27th, I still don't have the title from Rimrock and can't register the vehicle. Rimrock's response was that they "should have had the title by now" and advised me to go to the county courthouse and request a tag extension at my own cost. And of course, the extension isn't cheap. Rimrock Auto may have great employees and satisfied customers, but it's clear they lack business ethics and customer satisfaction. I highly recommend avoiding buying a vehicle from Rimrock Auto.

I bought my 2015 suburban on August 29. They said it went through a 120 point inspection and passed with flying colors. But on the way home, we found a seatbelt not working. The next day, we realized the satellite radio and GPS don't work either. And to top it off, the Check Engine light started flashing after driving less than 100 miles. I went to the dealership the next day and the Sales Manager, Rod, said they would fix everything. They checked the engine code and said I needed new injectors. 9 days later, the service manager called and said Rod wouldn't pay for it anymore. Then they called again and said they would pay for the parts, but I had to pay for the labor. The car had paperwork from the previous owner showing these problems, and they clearly didn't fix them before selling it. I want Rimrock GMC to fix and pay for everything.

She called me because I had asked GMC about a car that they said was on its way but not sold yet. So, I talked to one of their salespeople and they said that the car I wanted was already sold. But they said they had another car coming that could work for me, so I asked about it. I gave them my credit card and they charged me $3,000. That was weird because we hadn't even started the paperwork to buy the car yet. They said they would send me the paperwork on Monday, but they never did. By Thursday, I had enough and decided I didn't want anything to do with this car place. So, I told them I wasn't going to buy the car. That's when they told me that I couldn't get my deposit back. I never agreed to them charging my card before we had a signed contract. And I definitely never agreed to a non-refundable deposit. I complained to my credit card company and they are looking into it. The people from Rimrock VI, LLC keep calling me, trying to sell me a car. But I don't want to do business with a car place that cares more about money than customer service. It seems like the car they said was on its way wasn't even real, and they just wanted to trap me into buying a car for a long time. I told them from the start that I already had a car on order from another place, and the only reason I was still looking was because I wanted it in 2021.

On or about Saturday, August 29, I went to Rimrock Cadillac to buy a White 2016 Cadillac *** Platinum. I dealt with the Sales Manager named Rod & spent around 5 hours at the dealership. Rod told me I was approved for the vehicle purchase and the "***" was charging me a 14% interest rate. I was really worried because with my credit score of 672, the 14% interest rate didn't make sense. As I continued talking to the sales manager "Rod," he was rude, unprofessional, and didn't act like a Manager for a big business. He even questioned my intelligence, accused me of having a bad memory, and said things like "Now you are just making yourself look WORSE." He also told me he doesn't want my business (I have proof of "Rod's" statements towards me via text and can show them if asked). On Wednesday, 09/09, I called *** and they confirmed that they "DID NOT DETERMINE" the interest rate for my attempted purchase at Rimrock, but it was Rimrock that set the 14% interest rate. Rimrock's actions are a clear example of predatory lending and trying to take advantage of regular customers. I also suggest that ComplaintsBoard.com looks into reading reviews from past clients and employees (terrible). I would also like to bring to ComplaintsBoard.com's attention the salesman I dealt with from Rimrock, "Ernie." He was also very unprofessional, patronized me, called me a liar, told me to stop calling other stores, said to me "I'll now call and get your approval to a denial," and ended by saying "we are unable to assist you." Just like my conversation with "Rod," I can provide proof of this conversation with Ernie via text if asked.

I bought a 2016 Cadillac XTS from Rimrock GMC in Billings, Montana. I live in another city and couldn't see or test drive the car myself. I had to trust the info given to me by the salesman. The car was advertised with 20,891 miles. I talked about the car's condition with the salesman, who said it had been checked by the service department and was in good shape. I specifically asked about the tires, and the salesman said they weren't new but had around 21,000 miles and were in good condition. We talked about the price, and the salesman tried to add $699 in document fees. I said no and offered $24,500. The salesman countered with $24,750, and the dealer would cover the document fees. I agreed to buy the car as-is and made a down payment. When the car was delivered to me in Great Falls, Montana, it had 26,774 miles on it. This lower mileage reduced the car's value by $750-1,000. I immediately told the salesman about the discrepancy, and he said it was a mistake in the ad. The car had rear shocks that were out, and it rocked noticeably on uneven roads. I noticed this within half a mile of driving. There's a video showing the rocking motion. It would have been obvious during delivery. I left a phone message for the salesman and the service manager, but no one has called me back. The tires, which were supposed to be in good condition, had wear bars in the middle due to being overinflated. These issues were clearly visible and should have been noted during the inspection, as I was told it had been.
