So today I went to shop at ross & the cashier Name dawn was being so rude about me doing a return. This Happend at 10:30pm. I know that maybe is frustrated that I am doing a return last min but that doesnt mean she has to be rude to the Customers by doing mad face expressions & gasping about it . she is not even doing good customer service because she didnt even ask if we wanted a bag and she just let me have my stuff in my hands and when I ask for one she didnt even mind putting my stuff into the bag. Its the second time she acts like that with me . If that is her job she shouldnt be like that if she does not like it she should be working there. She supposebly a Surpervisor she suppose to act professional and kind but she was being disrespectful to me. That just make me not want to come back to the store because i feel uncomfortable.

After church, I went into store #0603 on yesterday to return a couple of items that didn't work for me nor the family members who I purchased items for. First of all, as i'm standing in the return line waiting to hear: 'next, customer, please, and etc. Assoc.256362 is 'becking ' or making a hand gesture for me move forward to here register, which is rude! So, puzzled, I move to assoc256362's register and placed the three items and the receipt that I had on the counter. She never greeted me or asked is there anything wrong with these item, etc, rude again! She proceeds with the return, first scanning the receipt, then pulls a purple highlighter out marks through the sku#s, and descriptions. Then, realizes that one of the tickets was cut in 1/2 due to it being a possibly gift, since she had went over the information with a purple marker; the info was obstructed, and she was unable to see the information. Assoc256362 told me that I would have to take this item back to rockwall so they could pull the receipt, wait what, i'm being incovenienced, because of your illogical behavior, rude for a 3rd time! I live in dallas, and was traveling from tennessee when I stop off to the rockwall location is what i'm thinking to myself. Clearly, had assoc256362 let crossing out the items from the return be her final step of the return process, I would'nt have to do extra steps like drive from dallas to rockwall which is a1/2 tank of gas, then explain all this to the rockwall store manager, and then wait for them to return with the info I need to do a return for a 10 dollar item! This is insane, and utterly absurd!

I experienced a very flippant associate who packed my two bags so full and heavy that I could barely pick one at a time up. Then I was told that I couldn't use a basket to take them out to my vehicle because they were afraid that they would be stolen. I asked if there was someone who could assist me in getting the bags to my car and was told no. I had to carry the bags out by myself. I will NEVER EVER shop your store again. I still am debating on taking my purchases back to your store. $231.36. I also believe that I hurt myself carrying these heavy bags!

Hello,
I bought a pair of shoes on Saturday because I was looking for flats. I paid 69.99$ plus tax and was happy about the purchase.
I wore the shoes on Tuesday because I needed to do a lot of walking for the conference I am here for.
After a while, the studs that are on the shoes started coming loose and falling off.
So I took them off, wore my other shoes and went back to the Ross store to complain.
They said they could not done anything about it and they could not exchange, or give me a refund!
I wore these shoes for a couple of hours!
They are 69.99$ plus tax- so at this price you would expect more!
And it is very frustrating that the lady would not even help or offer a solution!

So I saw this women with a sky blue polo and I got closer to security to ask why they were starting at us. We felt harrased because they were constantly looking, when I saw her name is juanita and she says she in the person in charge. and I wanted to report due to her actions and the way she treats her clients and instigating and treating us as we were going to steal when we are a nice family and doing nothing wrong.

I visited your store in the evening of October 20th 2017. I was returning something and my cousin was purchasing something. I wanted to do the return first, but I was told that I had to go to another cash since the sales associate was not able to do returns at her cash. When I arrived at the return/exchange cash, there was a normal sale going on ! So I asked the sales associate - Titiana where do I go to make a return ? She told me “you have to wait in line” with an attitude I didn’t like. So I patiently waited in line, looking at my 9months pregnant cousin - who finished her sale. So I asked her again, will it take long ? She told me “you have to wait in line” - I told her that my cousin is 9 months pregnant and I don’t want to wait long ... I could see her talking to another sales associate, looking at me and laughing ! So I asked Titiana if there’s a problem ? She said no there’s no problem - do you have a problem ? I was in shock ! This is when the manager Kenya helped me with my return. My family and I shop at Ross all the time, and I cannot believe the attitude I was given at all !

My husband, steven kling, was terminated today from the ross store in waco texas at the central texas marketplace. The reason? His leaving early over the past year. Let me tell you why he had to leave early. Our 16 year old daughter has anorexia and is in treatment for the third time. The treatment center is located in plano, texas...2 hours away. I had to be up there daily so my husband, a dedicated, hard working employee who is employees loved, had to pick up our 9 year old son from after school care. How dare you fire him for this. You will be hearing from our attorney! And on another note, how the hell are we going to pay for our daughters treatment since we were all under his insurance! This is not the last you will hear from me! I am pissed! Doesn't family come first?

So I was standing in line patiently waiting for my turn. There was a few people behind me and I can see the two young ladies up front working hard to get the line down. So i'm next.. And this young lady named cheyenne was ringing me up.. Very polite.. Very fast too so as I was putting my card in one of your security people who stands by the door couldn't get his name but he wore glasses and was a mexican guy. Came to the front and stopped what she was doing and basically screamed at her for not putting something right that she had done. He was being such a jerk and the things that he was saying to her. Telling her "can you do anything right" I couldn't belive it! Im shocked it was in front of customers. You guys should really talk to your employees on being respectful towards each other that poor girl taking what he was saying and just aplogizing to him... I refuse to come back to that ross because of that. That really upset me aand bothered my whole day...

Today I went to Ross new store located in North Lauderdale between Rock Island and McNab to return one item, I was waiting in line when Jessica(front manager) told me to move to a different line, I waited for a little while, shw was taking the customers after when I ask if she has someone attending to me at tha register to ask me to move to that when she told me I have to wait till she takes the customers that where after me with cards full of items.The way I was treated by Jessica was unacceptable. When I asked to speak with a manager she replied that she was the manager and will give me her last name. I couldn't believe a manager was behaving that way toward a customer. You have many competitions around to treat customers in that manner...I will let everyone know how Jessica is a horrible manager and not to shop at that location. She doesn't represent the company well at all👎

I bought a pair or black dress boots at the end of the season last year. They were not reduced for clearance so I paid the $35.99 price marked on the ticket. I didn't have an occasion to wear the boots until last week. I wore them to work with leggings and a long top. When I got home and was taking the boots off, I realized they were not alike. The buckles on the outside ankle of the boots were not alike and there is a slight but noticeable difference (now that I have looked closer) on the sole and heel of the boots. The two boots are different sizes as well. My left foot is a little larger than my right so I didn't notice that the left boot is a 7 1/2 and the right is a size 7.
I was really glad that no one noticed that my boots were not indeed a matching pair.
I took the boots back to the Mt Juliet, TN Ross Dress for Less store on Sunday (10/15/17) afternoon. I had the tag that came off the boots but I don't have the cash register receipt. The lady at the register said I would need to speak to the manager. The manager had gone shopping for toilet tissue as they were completely out in their restroom. When the manager came back, the employee explained to him what the situation was. He told her and then told me that there was nothing he could do. I told him that if his employee had done their job of checking the size of the boots, they would have noticed that at least the boots were not the same size. I told him I was in the predicament I was in now because his employee did not do their due diligence.
I would like to get a store credit for the amount that I paid for the boots. Although no one noticed that the boots were different last week, I don't want to wear them again and hope that no one notices.
I understand why there is nothing they can do. Not only do you not have a receipt, but your return is well outside of a typical return policy. While the employees should have checked the product, you should have as well. In fact you had quite some time to merely look at them and/or try them on.

this happened on 10/17/2017. one of the cashiers, who's name is Diana H, was done cashing out a customer ahead of me and my turn was next. she was also the only cashier on the counter. she although didn't want to attend me and instead a pulled manager to attend me instead. she then processed to talk about me with the manager behind my back. i then went to the back of the store to look at something else and again i hear her continue to talk about me with the manager without them knowing i was behind them. if possible talk with her so no other client will get any treatment like this.

they did not want to refund my money
I purchased 2 dresses on ross store in lake jackson tx 10-2-17. One of them had a rip so I told the lady to give me a discount but then since I wasnt sure if I was staying with it I told her to remove the discount. Today
10-14-17 I came to return the dress and it did not go through because the lady did not take away the discount. She told me to call customer service and it doesnt even work it hangs up by itself.

This is a complaint for the Ross Store located in South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
I recently went to return 1 item to this store and they person behind the counter processed my return BUT FAILED to tell me I would not be getting my money fully refunded because the item I returned went "ON SALE."
I didn't know this particular item was for SALE as I paid FULL PRICE FOR THIS ITEM WHEN PURCHASED. Had the associate or sales person informed me that I was NOT receiving my FULL MONEY BACK I would have opted to keep my returned item.
I think if people return an item in perfect never worn condition (NEW) they should be entitled to a full return or at the very minimum the associate should be responsible for informing the customer they will not be receiving a full refund because of the SALE change.
Please do something about this because it's not the customers fault you didn't sell all items wirthin a given timeframe and therefore will charge a sale price and not refund he diference.
Or at least give the customer a choice.
Now I'm at a loss for money I paid full price for.

My name is Amy Miller. I was hired by 'Ed' with Nucleus solution to clean your store "Ross" in Foley, AL 36535. I worked July and August with a 30 day notice. I also worked sept 1st thru 3rd to train my replacement. As of today I have not been paid for the work I preformed. 64 days! Ed has continued to text me saying my check is in mail for weeks.

My wife is frequent customer to Ross for many years, she love to shop there for many reason Ross provides.
Yesterday (10/03/17) she went Ross by the ward in Honolulu, she like there for co convenient location, she is Tuesday .embet for senior discount, she purchase many items and getting senior discount, seems new clerk having difficulty and another server help but take long time to get thru register, she hot home and notice no discount show on receipt, when I got home late she explain yo me, we went back to store layer at 930pm. When we arrive there one cashier by return li be and another cashier by regular line, the cashier by return line look at us and go into break room, we wait little another cashier wave us, we went yo counter, cashier name was "Elvira", I say trying to explain about didn't get senior discount earlier, she reply and say where is all the items, I say the two items are for return and rest items are at home, she day order to get discount we have yo bring all the items on receipt back to store, I say doesn't make sense, it's clear show you on the receipt that my wife didn't get discount, why we need to bring the item ask, then she say she will call someone, then she talking to one of cashier who trying to purchase on the line, it was loud making comment, I trying to explain again but she keep saying just call down.
I say what's going on here, you should call manager on duty, she call over the PA system and manager came out, I was trying explain to manager but the cashier "Elvira" keep nagging day I g somting we not suppose, I got upset that I day to the cashier and you should quiet I'm talking to manager, one of security came close since loud noise from me and manager trying to quiet the cashier down since I'm very upset.
Manager trying to get the discount back and there seems see it show from day cashier which manager keep trying, at this time cashier "Elvira" talking in philipino to one of customer about us, I can hear she talking about us do I asked manager to stop gossiping about us to other customers, so manager told her to stop talking.
Finnaly manager figure out discount part and gave us the portion back to our credit card, then we process the return item, manager gave cashier name and I provide my name number to manager, she say she will follow up and give me a call but after 24 hours no call from store.
We been long customer to Ross and been satisfy but last night was tottaly unsatisfy especially customer service from cashier also one when we first got in for fix, manager take care our need but no apology of the incident...
My wife still upset from last night of the service and don't understand on there procedure on getting discount especially need to bring all the items just to get my discount which we didn't receive at first place, we still hold all the copies.

I was denied service because of transgender.
I am a transgender female and was attempting to return items at a store in Long Beach CA on Sunday October 01, 2017. The person waiting on me rudely called me "sir". I explained that I was not a "sir" and am a women as listed on my California driver's license. The person then said she was not going to process my return because I was rude. I explained that I was not rude, that she was rude for calling me "sir" when it was clear that I was dressed as a beautiful female. Other customers in the store were shocked as well at her attitude. I asked to speak with the store manager and she said she was the manager and gave me a look of "so what are you going to do now". I was humiliated, embarrassed, and emotionally traumatized by the discriminatory conduct of your employee. This is my first step at resolving this issue and I will not be bullied or refused service because I am a transgender. I am currently seeking legal assistance in this matter.

I have been employed with Ross for over a year and recently I took at full-time position as front end supervisor. In August 2017 I went in to talk to my store manager about my availability since my kids were going back to school and I'm a single parent. I was told he couldn't accommodate my request because as a full-time employee I would have to have open availability, which I have personally seen him accommodate another full-time employee request of availability. I was told if I wanted to demote myself to let him know and I said I would. Never did I let him know I wanted to step down, so he demoted me to part-time and on my day off had a meeting about hour cuts. So without my knowledge I had been demoted and hours cut. Also I have been disrespected by my store manager; the most recent situation wasn't being hung up on by him. I am thinking about filing a complaint against him with the corporate manager.
return policy
I returned 1 sweater with tag and receipt at Ross on Gessner, Houston today 9/28/17. After scanning the receipt and then the tag, she told me this item is already returned. I then asked her what date it was returned because I just bought 10 days ago. It sounds weird because the sweater is still with me . The cashier said the system did not show the date that it was returned. To be fair, the system must show the proof of the previous returned date.

The way I was treated at this store was extremely unacceptable. I was skipped several times while waiting to do a return. My debit card was stolen that week before and I didn't realize that until the end of the returning the purchase. Ms. Angela at this location made me so upset that I never want to return. She was rude, very disrespectful, and combative. The worst part was she wasn't even the one checking me out, it was a lady name, Dereka but I guess Dereka was new so Angela would check in every now and again to say something rude. The looks she gave me and the way she talked to me should of never have happen. Then when I asked for corporate information she snap and was like - I don't know it. I've never treated anyone like this in my entire work career nor have I been treated like this by anyone. I've shopped at that store for years but no one ever made me not want to shop there again. I was disappointed about not being able to return my clothes but wayyy more disappointed about how I was treated. I just wanted a refund. I didn't want to feel like I was going to have a fight. She got extremely happy when she realize I couldn't return my things and stop helping the person she was helping just to let me know sorry can't help you. The whole scene was sad and embarrassing, I started to asked for a manager but I realize she’s been getting away with this for a while so maybe I should report this to corporate office.

One of the worst Ross Stores in the area especially the manager at the store very rude and arrogant. I stood on the returns line as I was the only customer (for return and purchase) and there was only one Cashier who was assigned to the return. The light at the purchasing counter was lit and unfortunately the manger was circling around doing some other work and not bothered to help the customers waiting to check out. I was the only customer at the return/purchasing line and when my turn came the cashier told me to stand in the purchase line where a customer came to return something. Once he was done the return cashier called me to check out and then I asked her why she made me run around (monkey game). I asked for the manager and unfortunately that's the time I realized the store has one of the manager with worst customer service. Shame on you Ross, please recruit people with customer service and willing to work.

Have you asked for her supervisor in person or by phone? You should be somewhat understanding of her feelings during your return as it is very rude of you to request a return exactly at closing. Employees have other commitments and by coming in so late you are taking away their personal time. No worker wants to stay past their scheduled shift and I hope you apologized for your timing.
