I want to leave this review for whoever is considering using Rushmypasspirt services.
I have used all sorts of services with much less
Complicated processes as the passport issuance/renewal.
I neede my passport renewed in a hurry and I hired Rushmypassport to do it for me as I couldn't go to the passport office to do it myself.
RUSHMYPASSPORT experience was A+++. From the very first contact with customer service to the follow up instructions and emails and even the calls I gave their customer service to get an update, I felt I was dealing with a group who knew exactly what they were doing, didn't give me false hope and guaranteeing anything as they depends on the government but within what they could guarantee they made me feel very confident and secure.
The outcome was incredibly accurate and I received my passport exactly within 15 minutes of when I was supposed to receive it.
One of my most positive and encouraging experience in a very very long time
I needed a quick passport renewal for my daughter who
I needed a quick passport renewal for my daughter who had only 5 out of 6 months validity required for upcoming travel to Thailand. When I looked online, there were several providers but RushMyPassport reviews appeared to be the most extensive and also very positive with occasional negative reviews. The negative reviews do draw your attention so I was somewhat skeptical but honestly, I am glad I did not focus too much on them. I could not believe the incredible customer service and the speed with which the passport was delivered to me. Where we live, the nearest passport agency is Atlanta and we could not get an appointment there for several days. With RushMyPassport, I Fedex'd the completed application and supporting papers on Monday and by Wednesday at 6:30 am we had the passport! Hassle free, amazing service, well worth every penny of the extra money I spent. Just make sure you follow the guidelines correctly and you should have no problem. I strongly suggest this service to anyone needing a passport in a hurry.

I have a business trip coming up and was notified with only 9 business days that I would need to have my passport renewed before my trip. I reached out to Rushmypassport.com and was happy to see that they had options that would allow me to get my passport renewed in as little as 3-5 days (faster had I needed it sooner). The website and instructions were easy to understand and very clear. I did as instructed and called the company, as instructed, when I had all my documents together. Angela C. went through the details with me, sent me the additional paperwork that I needed and made sure that I had everything correct before putting it in the envelope to mail out. That was on Thursday afternoon, I had my new passport in hand before 11 am on the following Tuesday. Less than 4 business days! Angela C. is the best! She made sure that she used the most reliable service to get things done right! She was so understanding and reassuring about the process that my fear of not being able to make my trip disappeared. I will definitely recommend Rushmypassport.com and Angela C. to colleagues who might need their service!
I serve on the board of directors of a Canadian company
I serve on the board of directors of a Canadian company. I attend board meetings in Toronto on a quarterly basis. I was totally unaware of Canada's six-month valid rule; i.e., to use my passport for entry, it must have at least six months validity left. I was set to depart on Wednesday. I learned about the rule on Monday. I contacted Rush My Passport. I immediately received instructions. I immediately drove to my local Rite-Aid (Rite-Aid merits a plug, too!) and left five minutes later with my passport photo. I completed all the forms just the way Rush My Passport told me to. I received a call from the company and received a few more instructions and a review to ensure all bases were covered. I was packed and ready to go Wednesday morning, armed with details of later flights, just in case Rush My Passport was unable to do what I was convinced was the impossible. At 9:25AM -- BANG! -- there it was from FedEx, and at 9:26 I left, making it to the airport with time to spare. I have no clue how you guys do it, but "it" is utterly astounding, with extraordinarily good communication all the way through. Where do I buy my "Ask Me about RushMyPassport.com" tee-shirt?
Efficient and Hassle-Free Passport Renewal with RushMyPassport.com
I had a dental appointment in Mexico that I had to reschedule due to work commitments. Once I had confirmed my vacation time, I booked my airline tickets in advance to get a good deal. However, when I tried to check-in online, I realized that my passport had expired a few weeks ago. I was in a fix as I had to meet my wife in Mexico, who had already reached there a few days before me. I had to get my passport renewed quickly to make it to my scheduled appointments.
That's when I came across RushMyPassport.com. The website was easy to navigate, and I was able to get all the information I needed to renew my passport. I was impressed with the professionalism and discretion with which everything was handled. I made one phone call to confirm that all my documentation was in order, and the transaction was concluded smoothly.
Despite having to change my flight details at the last minute, I was able to get my passport the night before my scheduled flight. The weekend was busy, but RushMyPassport.com took care of everything, and I received my official United States passport and all my submitted documents back by Tuesday. I was relieved that all the heavy lifting was taken care of by RushMyPassport.com, and I didn't have to worry about anything. It was a huge stress reducer!
If you need your documents quickly, I highly recommend using the secure services offered by RushMyPassport.com. They made the entire process hassle-free and efficient. I would give them 10 stars if I could!
Beware of Hidden Fees When Renewing Your Passport at Fed Ex
I gotta say, I was pretty clueless when it came to renewing my passport. I was searching online and got a call from someone at Fed, but I was in the car and couldn't really hear her. She said I could go to Fed Ex and do the whole passport application there. So I went, sat down at the computer, and started filling out the application. I didn't see any fees except for the ones I chose for slower delivery and lower cost. It came out to $130 plus another fee, bringing it to $147 with tax, for 8 weeks delivery of my passport. I thought everything was all good, but boy was I wrong.
Turns out, there were more fees that I didn't know about. If Fed Ex takes your passport photo, it costs $16. And then you have to enclose another $203 check or money order for the government fee. So the total fees ended up being $350. I had no idea that the website I used, RushMyPassport, was only for expedited passports. I didn't need that, but I didn't see any upfront fees for expedited applications on the website or at Fed Ex. I wish someone had told me that before I started the process.
My daughter actually had to tell me what was going on. I had to get a refund and start the process all over again online. So my advice is to be careful when you go to Fed Ex to do a passport application. It's only for expedited and expensive passports. If you want a regular passport, you have to go somewhere else. And make sure you read all the fine print on the website before you start filling out the application.
RushMyPassport Review: A Lifesaver for Last-Minute Travelers!
I gotta say, RushMyPassport is a lifesaver! I mean, you're basically paying them to do all the legwork for you, and it's totally worth it. I found out about a trip out of the country like two and a half months before the trip, and I was freaking out about getting my passport in time. But then I found RushMyPassport and their customer service was really helpful.
The website is super easy to use. You just put in your information and it automatically fills out the document completely for you. All you have to do is sign it. And they give you step-by-step directions on how to prep the paperwork. When I called in, the wait wasn't too bad, maybe like 45 minutes to an hour. And the person I spoke with was extremely helpful. When I called back a second time, the wait was longer, maybe twice as long, but the second person was just as helpful.
The hardest part is finding an agency to go to, but RushMyPassport has nothing to do with that. The customer service person literally went through like 10 sites that were all booked months out. She then gave me two that I had to actually call myself, and luckily one of the sites was having a first come first serve workshop on a Saturday. I filled out all of my information and got it prepped for that Saturday. I went to the agency and then mailed it off myself later that day. The courier had my documents on Monday, and I received an email on that Friday stating my passport was on its way! It literally took 8 to 10 days for me.
I would definitely recommend RushMyPassport to anyone. Yes, you do have to pay, but sometimes it's just worth it to save yourself the hassle and stress. They make it super easy, and their customer service is top-notch. Best of luck to you all!
Excellent Customer Service Experience with RushMyPassport: A Review
At first, I was really hesitant about sending such a large amount of money without getting a receipt. I was worried that something might go wrong, but I kept calling and calling. Some of the customer service people I spoke to were a bit short with me, but I kept calling until one day I got someone who was really friendly and concerned. She made me feel like everything was going to be alright. She told me to have patience and assured me that RushMyPassport is a good and legal company.
I was so relieved to hear that, and it calmed me down to the point where I was able to sleep like a baby for the first time in a week. I didn't even know that I could ask for someone specific to talk to, but I talked to a guy named Mark who was really nice and friendly. I really needed a miracle and some information, and I knew that I would only have to deal with RushMyPassport for a short time, but I really wanted a nicer specialist to talk to.
Well, one day I got a specialist on the phone who was perfect for me. Her name was Grakivi Ransom, and she was knowledgeable, nice, very happy to help, and friendly. She really was the miracle I had prayed for. Even though I had spent so much money, she calmed me down to the point where I didn't even need my anxiety medication anymore.
I just want to say thank you to Ms. Ransom for all of her help. It is truly appreciated. It's hard to find excellent help in customer service, but for me, it's this person. If I had to tell someone about RushMyPassport, I would tell them to ask for Ms. Ransom within the first phone call. It will save you a lot of stress and anxiety meds.
Thank you again, Kivi Ransom, for all of your help. Keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Brenda from the Bahamas.
RushMyPassport Review: Misleading Processing Time and Poor Customer Service
I recently decided to renew my passport through RushMyPassport agency on June 3rd. I chose the 4-6 week option as it aligned with my travel plans. I sent all of the necessary documents on the same day. However, for nearly 2 weeks, my documents were under review with their agency before it finally arrived on June 15th at the government. According to the government passport site, it takes 4-6 weeks to process.
When I called RushMyPassport to inquire about the status of my passport, I was told that the 4-6 weeks listed on their website does not include the 2-week review conducted by them and mail time. So, with priority mail, it could take 8+ weeks at best. I asked the lady if I could cancel my services with them, but was told that if I decided to do so, it would cancel the entire application process and I would have to start over and pay the processing fee to the government again. I felt stuck and now forced to stay with RushMyPassport in order to hopefully one day get my passport.
In an update, the owner replied that it took them 3 days to mark it for review and an additional 5 days to get it to the government agency. A total of 8 days were wasted for an additional $199 fee.
As of now, it has officially been 4 weeks and my passport is nowhere in sight. The government website just updated their communication that it takes 6 weeks to complete passport renewal. RushMyPassport has done absolutely nothing to update or expedite the passport. If I am wrong, I will update and remove the post, but so far, I have a strong feeling it will not happen.
In another update, RushMyPassport responded that the 4-6 weeks does not take into consideration delivering the passport to them first so that they can deliver it to the agency. I have no idea why the passport is not sent directly to the passport processing facility. Also, I would love to see what they mean by "doing all they can" as every time I call them, they refer me to call the passport facility. Next week is week 6 (the time when the passport arrived at their place), and I will post an update on how that goes.
Rush My Passport Review: Pros and Cons of Getting Your Passport Quickly
Rush My Passport is a company that provides a service to help people get their passports quickly. However, there are some issues with the service that you should be aware of before using it.
First of all, they don't tell you that you need to get an appointment at the post office. This can be a major problem if you don't have a lot of time to spare. Additionally, they falsely show pictures of FedEx, but FedEx doesn't provide passport certified agents. This can be misleading and cause confusion for customers.
Another issue is the long wait times at their call center. On average, customers have to wait 50 minutes to speak with someone. This can be frustrating and time-consuming, especially if you have urgent questions or concerns.
Finally, Rush My Passport is closed from Friday 5pm to Monday 8pm. This can make it difficult to download your application or get help if you have any issues over the weekend.
Despite these issues, Rush My Passport can be a useful service if you need to get your passport quickly. For example, if you have a trip planned and need your passport in a hurry, this service can be a lifesaver.
However, it's important to be aware of the potential problems and limitations of the service. For example, you may need to book an appointment at the post office well in advance, and you may need to be prepared for long wait times when calling customer service.
Overall, Rush My Passport is a decent option if you need to get your passport quickly. However, it's important to do your research and be aware of the potential issues before using the service.
Disappointing Experience with RushMyPassport: A Costly Scam?
I have to say, I was really disappointed with my experience with RushMyPassport. I was in a hurry to renew my passport and thought that paying the extra money to expedite the process would be worth it. Boy, was I wrong!
First of all, I have to admit that I fell for their marketing tactics. They make it seem like they're going to do all this work to get your passport renewed quickly, but all they really do is print out the application form for you. I could have done that myself for a lot less money!
To make matters worse, they actually delayed the process by sending my application to the wrong place. I live in Maryland, and the passport center is in Philadelphia, but they sent my application to Florida first! I lost almost a week because of their mistake.
I really feel like this company is a scam. They charge you a lot of money for a service that doesn't really do anything to expedite the process. If you're in a hurry to renew your passport, save yourself some money and just go to the government website to do it yourself.
I'd like to hear from someone at RushMyPassport to explain exactly what they do for the $200 they charge. I don't think they'll be able to come up with a good answer, because there really isn't one.
RushMyPassport: A Complete Scam - Avoid at All Costs
I recently used RushMyPassport to expedite my passport application, and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with their service. Despite charging a hefty fee, they didn't seem to do anything differently than what I could have done myself to expedite the process. When I spoke to their customer service representative, they couldn't even explain what RushMyPassport actually does to speed up the process.
To make matters worse, they hijacked my email updates and changed my personal email to their own. This meant that all communication went through them, making it seem like they were actually involved in the process, when in reality, they were just a middleman.
All I had to do was mail my documents to RushMyPassport, and they held onto them for a week or more before forwarding them to the government for processing. I have no idea what they did with my documents during that time, but it certainly didn't seem worth the cost.
To add insult to injury, I missed out on a trip to Cabo because of RushMyPassport's slow service. My fiancé and I sent our documents at the same time, but she received her passport much earlier than I did. RushMyPassport never informed me of the true processing time, which was 5-7 weeks from the date received, not the promised 5/17 delivery date.
Overall, I feel like RushMyPassport is a complete scam. They charge exorbitant fees for a service that doesn't seem to do anything differently than what you could do yourself. They even involve FedEx, which is mind-boggling since the government doesn't even accept FedEx mail. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid using RushMyPassport at all costs. They cost me over $500 and a trip to Cabo, and I doubt they will even refund my money. If they do, I will update my review, but I'm not holding my breath.
Nightmare Experience with RushMyPassport: Lack of Communication, Misinformation, and No Accountability
I have to say that my experience with RushMyPassport has been a complete nightmare. I filed for a two-week service back in late April and it's now June and I still don't have my passport. The lack of effective communication has been a serious issue. I haven't heard a peep from them since Friday and today is Wednesday. It's been a constant battle to get updates and information from them.
The worst part is that they never once took responsibility for their missteps and lack of follow-through. They are the ones who reviewed my documents, but they never took ownership of their mistakes. Instead, they pawned the blame on the department, stating that they must have sent the wrong letter. They even said that the 58 cents could have been a mistake on their part, but I never heard one way or another.
I was constantly getting misinformation and never once did they own up to it. They never checked on the status unless I pushed, and even then, they closed the trouble tickets without so much as a phone call. It's beyond frustrating.
To make matters worse, I had to cancel my trip because my passport didn't show up. I'm out the cost of accommodations plus what I paid them to get my passport to me. My friends ended up going to Costa Rica without us, but on our dime. It's a super expensive lesson, and I'm beyond sick at the BS and stress they put me through.
Update 2: After being told that my passport would be released once I submitted the 58 cent payment, they called me the next day and told me that wasn't accurate. Now they need me to send them the letter I received. They sent me an overnight label and I sent it off, but now I'm told the estimated arrival is June 20th. My trip ends on June 23rd, so now I'm waiting again.
Ultimately, RushMyPassport turned out to be a $700 nightmare stress fest and completely their fault. According to them, everything was thoroughly reviewed and checked for errors prior to being sent off, but clearly, that wasn't the case. I'm an ER nurse and I've been waiting for this trip for years. I thought these guys were going to be our saving grace, but now all I am is sad and broke.
Seriously, they can't get their story straight. I was told that they could handle everything for me and it would be there by Friday, only to be called back and told that I have to overnight them the letter from the Dept of State and that it'll be delayed another 1-2 business days. It's unbelievable that something I've worked and waited for with two years of planning is getting messed up because of this.
In conclusion, I would not recommend RushMyPassport to anyone. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, and it's not worth the stress and money.
RushMyPassport Review: A Nightmare Experience with Unprofessional Service and False Promises
This company is a complete nightmare! I paid for expedited processing of my passport, which was supposed to take 4-6 weeks. However, after 5 weeks, I called to get an update and was told that my passport would "likely arrive" 4 days AFTER the 6-week mark. This was unacceptable, as I had already booked travel based on their promised timeline. I had to scramble to figure out other means to get my passport in time for the trip.
I called the national passport agency and was told that the only in-person appointment before my travel date was in Seattle, which was not feasible for me as I live in San Francisco. The national passport agency informed me that if I had proof of international travel, they would process and print my passport on the spot. So I had to choose between paying $300 to get a flight to go get my passport in person in Seattle or sacrificing the thousands of dollars I had already spent on flights and hotels for my international travel. This was not a great spot to be in, especially after I had already paid hundreds of dollars to RushMyPassport to expedite my passport!
Luckily, I was able to get in touch with my local Congresswoman, fill out more paperwork with her, and have her reach out to the passport center on our behalf to put our passports at the top of their processing pile. This is the ONLY REASON we got our passports before our flight. The passport agency literally emailed her back saying they would "pull them from the general pile."
I spoke to a manager named Sharon and told her everything that was happening and that I didn't think it was right that I wasn't receiving the service I had paid for. She told me I could request a refund and that I would receive an answer on my refund request "within 24-48 hours." However, after 48 hours, I called again since I hadn't received a response. I was then told "within 72 hours." I called again after the time had passed and was told "5 business days." I WISH I WAS MAKING THIS UP.
Now it has been 2 WEEKS since I submitted my refund request. I have called customer service several times for an update. They tell me I need to contact the billing department because it's not something they handle directly. I call the billing department and leave voicemail after voicemail after voicemail. NOTHING. No one has EVER picked up the billing department phone line. It always rings and goes to voicemail.
You'd think the billing department of a large company would have a general email address you could reach them at, wouldn't you? You'd think a manager who regularly deals with customers would have an email you can contact them at, wouldn't you? Well, they DON'T. I have asked CONSTANTLY, and I am always told there is no email. (Their website says you can contact customer service by "phone, chat or email". This is a LIE.) You can ONLY CALL. I'm convinced this is SOLELY because they don't want you to have email documentation of their complete lack of response!
Now, I most recently spoke to a customer service representative who told me that my refund request was "never actually submitted" because they "wait until the 6 weeks has actually passed to see if you end up getting your passport in time." When I noted to her that the 6 weeks is now passed, she said "but it wasn't at the time you requested your refund so you'll have to request it again." She MUST be kidding, right?!
I'm honestly considering REPORTING this company to a government agency or something. This is all a BIG SCAM.
UPDATE: FINALLY heard back from Sharon after calling twice a day. She said her manager, Rob, is only willing to refund me $80 of the $217 I paid for each passport. When I told her it's unacceptable that I will have paid them $137 for literally NOTHING, she told me they "reviewed" the passport applications before sending them to the passport agency.
Y'all, they want to charge me $137 to look at the 2-page application that I already double and triple checked myself?!? On top of all of the time and effort I had to put in MYSELF to actually get my passport in 6 weeks when they DIDN'T DELIVER?!
I told Sharon this was unacceptable and to please have Rob call me. She told me he would call me by today at 9 am. Well, wouldn't you know it's 4 pm and NOTHING yet from Rob? At this point, I'm not even surprised.
UPDATE AGAIN: Spoke to Rob. Not only was he ENTIRELY UNHELPFUL, but just like all of my other interactions with people at RushMyPassport, he was ALSO HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL.
First, he told me that the 6-week timeline begins "once the passport is received by the Department of Homeland Security." I told him this was not the impression I was given when speaking to customer service representatives BEFORE purchasing their services. I was under the impression the 6 weeks begins once the passport arrives at RushMyPassports offices for their review. When I asked him where on their website it informs customers that this is how the 6 weeks is calculated, he, unsurprisingly, admitted the website DOES NOT make this clear but that is still "how it is." When I told him that specific details like this should be made clear to customers, he had NO RESPONSE.
Rob then had the AUDACITY to call the $80 refund a "COURTESY" to me. There is NOTHING "courteous" about 1) not receiving the service I paid for 2) being misled about the time in which my refund request would be reviewed 3) having to call your company daily to get any meaningful response and 4) paying you all $137 dollars to review 2 pieces of paper. Literally NOTHING about my experience with this company has been "courteous."
Rob also said that refunding me the $80 (which means I will have effectively paid $137 for NOTHING) is "fair" because that is their price for 8-week service. When I noted to him that I did not request or need 8-week service, I requested and expected 6-week service, and moreover that I have email documentation that my Congresswoman was the main reason our passports arrived before our trip, he said that I couldn't "prove" that. Wow? REALLY?! YOUR customer service representative told me my passport would "likely arrive" 4 days AFTER the 6-week mark? I then contacted my Congresswoman and had her request our passports to be expedited, and saw both her email communications and the response from the national passport agency. Is that not proof ENOUGH?!
So I guess the moral of the story is: At RushMyPassport, they don't deliver the expedited service you ACTUALLY ORDERED, and then justify it by still charging you the next-level down of service. Charging me ANY AMOUNT after all of the time and effort I had to put in to ACTUALLY GET MY PASSPORT is LUDICROUS.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. THIS COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE.

Passport expedited service
Your company advised me on how to fill out the paperwork and ended up getting my passport sent to my home address and not mailing address. I even had several involved conversation with reps prior to submitting my application.
Your job was to guide me to fill out paperwork correctly. Instead I was given wrong info. Company rep refused to take responsibility. At least own up to your mistake. Very unprofessional.
Claimed loss: I now have to send a courier to pick up my passport in another state. I asked for a refund of half of what I paid your performance lacked completion but if course they denied fault. I have phone recordings as proof.
Desired outcome: Refund of 50 percent monies
Passport not received in 8 weeks
I cannot believe Fed Ex associates itself with Rush My Passport. I would NEVER recommend this company. I submitted my documents on July 28. My travel dates were Oct 19-24, 2023. I Paid $239.00 in addition to the Fed Ex fees. They had my phone number and email. I started calling in September because my info was not in the system for my passport statu...
Read full review of Rush My PassportThe company will no longer promise deadlines it will not keep and will improve its customer service so no one else has to go through this
This company did not meet promised deadline…twice. The customer service was difficult to reach, insensitive and offered no help whatsoever. They advertise that they can turnaround a passport in 24 days but when asked “we do not have this capacity.”
We took the matter in our own hands and were able at the 11th hour to get our passport at a regional center requiring missed work, extra fees and travel.
This was one of the worst customer service experiences of life. Definitely do not waste your money

My son Nathan had purchased the 10-week passport renewal program for over $200.00 and all documents were received by January 26th, 2023. On May 3rd, 2023, I contacted Rush My Passport to get a status update, and they mentioned that the renewal application was not signed in the correct color blue or black. There was no evidence of the application being in the wrong color. They did not notify Nathan that there was a error, and 14 weeks went by with no results. On May 3rd, 2023 I paid for the 2 week service that was over $500.00 and it was promised to be available on June 8th, 2023. I called and requested a refund on my son's 10 week program and asked a supervisor to contact me at least 12 times, waiting the 24-48 hours to call back and nothing. On June 5th the Department of State sent a letter to Nathan, and said that the cashiers check had expired. I expect Rush My Passport to check the details and logistics and there was no notification to provide a cashier check. Rush My Passport has no accountability, and does not follow up with communications. I even went on Linkedin and left a message for Mosie Miller, CEO, Charles Cobb, COO, and Kerri Kaufman CMO and no response. They take your credit card and charge you, but there is no accountability or communication.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund for the 10-week program and a partial refund for the 2 week service. They did not provide the service ad
Expedited passport services

This website provides no visibility and I'm unable to get into contact with anyone at this company.
After taking payment I was forward to another website which had a questionnaire and then prompted to then find an acceptable location to turn the documents into except... All those location are months out from any appointments!
Why offer and expedited service when it's not even possible? Moreover there really isn't any service being provided here, it is self service.
Desired outcome: Looking to get a refund but they purposely make it convoluted to get a refund, no built-in chat support and email in this day and age?
RushMyPassport Review: Not Worth the Money or Hassle
So, I decided to give RushMyPassport a try and created an account to get started. The online process was pretty straightforward and asked me a few questions. I was happy to see that the website pre-filled the info on the passport application, which saved me some time. However, I later found out that I could have done that myself for free instead of paying $109 to download the pre-filled application.
I watched the video on the website, which showed how their process works. It seemed pretty simple and convenient. The video claimed that FedEx takes the photo and handles the application and shipping process, all included. But that was not true at all! I had to make an appointment with an authorized agent, which took several weeks because the post office near me was booked out. On top of that, I had to pay an extra $16 for my passport photo. I was disappointed because I could have had my photo done at Walgreens since there was no difference in the fee that FedEx charged. FedEx did absolutely nothing, which was frustrating.
After reading other reviews, I have to agree that RushMyPassport appears to be a scam. If my money isn't refunded, I'll be reporting them to the BBB. Times are too hard to be scamming people out of their hard-earned money. However, I will say that paying the separate government fee was not an issue because the website did advise me about that.
Overall, I would not recommend using RushMyPassport. The process was not as convenient as they claimed, and I ended up spending more money than I anticipated. If you need to renew your passport, I suggest doing it yourself or finding a more reputable service.
RushMyPassport Review: Wasted Money for Inaccurate Updates and No Tracking Number
I recently used RushMyPassport to renew my passport and I have to say, I was not impressed with the service. I paid a whopping $450 for the most expedited service possible, which was supposed to get me my passport in just 6 weeks. However, things did not go as smoothly as I had hoped.
First of all, when I went to the FedEx office to drop off my application, no one there seemed to be familiar with the process. This was a bit frustrating, but I figured it was just a minor hiccup. However, things only got worse from there.
My status updates were not accurate and were telling me things that were simply not true. For example, it said that my passport had been delivered, when in fact it had not. I tried to talk to someone about this, but it was a struggle to even get through to a real person. When I finally did, no one could tell me where my passport was or why it would say it had been delivered when it had not.
To make matters worse, I could not even get a tracking number for my passport. It was only after I contacted the Department of State that I found out there is actually no special service to guarantee getting a passport in less than the 12 weeks that is offered by the Department of State. So, after paying hundreds of dollars in extra fees, there was nothing RushMyPassport could do for me.
Now, 7+ weeks later, I am still without a passport and according to the people I spoke with at RushMyPassport, "it is out of their hands" and I have to talk directly to the Department of State. In short, I feel like I wasted a lot of money for nothing.
My advice to anyone considering using RushMyPassport is to just go directly through the Department of State and save your money. It may take a bit longer, but at least you won't be throwing away hundreds of dollars for no reason.
Disappointing Experience with RushMyPassport: Poor Communication and Delayed Refund
I had a really tight deadline to renew my passport and I was freaking out. A friend of mine recommended RushMyPassport to me, saying they had used them years ago and had a good experience. So, I decided to give them a try.
I went to their website and filled out all the forms and paid the fee. I was feeling pretty good about things until I received an email later that day saying I needed to contact them to continue the process. I called them early the next day, but I was only able to leave a message. I called again and again, but still no response. I was starting to get worried.
I decided to try their "chat" feature, but it was like talking to a brick wall. No one was responding. Finally, someone called me back, but by that point it was too late. They told me they couldn't get my passport to me on time. I was so disappointed. The person on the phone asked if I wanted a refund and I said yes.
I assumed I would get my refund in a timely manner, but it's been weeks and I still haven't received it. I've been calling and leaving messages, but no one ever calls me back. I'm starting to get really frustrated.
I finally decided to get my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau involved. It was a stressful experience dealing with this company, but I'm hoping I'll get my refund soon.
*Update: I finally got an email back from RushMyPassport saying they were processing my refund. I'm not sure if it was because of my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau getting involved or if the accounting department is just really disorganized. Either way, I'm just glad this whole ordeal is over.
Mixed Experience with RushMyPassport: Helpful Customer Service but Confusing Instructions and Long Wait Times
I recently used RushMyPassport to expedite my passport application and I must say, I had a bit of a rough start. There was a major issue with the instructions on how to print the forms and it caused a lot of confusion. I printed the forms fit to page, as I always do, but then received an urgent message from the passport agency stating that my application was rejected because the forms were not printed properly. I was extremely anxious and worried that I would not be able to get my passport in time.
When I contacted customer service, they informed me that I needed to print the forms larger. This was something that had never happened to me before with any government forms applications. It was frustrating and caused a lot of unnecessary stress. However, I must say that the customer service representatives were very helpful and reassuring. They helped me to figure out the problem and assured me that I would receive my passport in time.
One thing that I think RushMyPassport needs to improve on is their initial instructions. They should include information about the need to print the forms larger. This would have saved me a lot of time, money, and stress.
Another issue that I had with RushMyPassport was the long wait times on the phone for customer service. It was frustrating to have to wait so long to speak with someone. However, once I did speak with a representative, they were very helpful and knowledgeable.
Despite the initial issues, I am happy to say that I did receive my passport in time and the end result was great. I would recommend RushMyPassport to anyone who needs to expedite their passport application. Just be sure to read the instructions carefully and be prepared for long wait times on the phone.
Terrible Experience with RushMyPassport: Lost Application and Passport
I recently used RushMyPassport to expedite my passport renewal process. I paid for the 5 week expedited service and was hoping to receive my passport in a timely manner. However, my experience with RushMyPassport was not a pleasant one.
My passport package left LA on January 11th and arrived in West Palm Beach on January 13th. After that, there were no further updates. I was getting worried and anxious about the status of my passport. Finally, on Friday February 3rd, I received a call from the New Orleans passport agency. They informed me that they had received my check but no application, expired passport or photo. Only the check was there. I was shocked and confused as the check had been inside my passport.
I immediately called RushMyPassport to inquire about the situation. The guy who answered the phone told me to cancel my check and then said he couldn't hear me and hung up. I was frustrated and angry at this point. I called again today and waited on hold for 45 minutes. Finally, I spoke to a woman who put me on hold to see what was going on. After 10 minutes, she got back on the phone and I heard her say "oh my volume isn't on" and then nothing. I waited another 10 minutes but the hold music was gone and she never came back.
I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from RushMyPassport. I called the New Orleans passport office and they advised me to assume that the application and passport were stolen by RushMyPassport. They suggested that I fill out the necessary forms for a stolen passport. I was shocked and angry that this could happen.
I am sharing my account number GW-C2680BA40 so that others can look up how this happened. I also want to mention that the chat option on the RushMyPassport website doesn't work. Overall, my experience with RushMyPassport was terrible and I would not recommend their services to anyone.
Disappointing Experience with RushMyPassport: Poor Customer Service and Unexpected Responsibilities
I recently used RushMyPassport to expedite my passport renewal process. I opted for their "smart" service which promised to get my passport processed within six weeks. I was charged $19 for USPS priority for my passports outbound travel and $19 for Fedex 2day to get my passport to RMP. I was a bit confused as to why both services cost the same amount, but I went ahead with it anyway.
After six weeks, my passport was processed, but it has now been seven business days since it was listed as "shipped" without a tracking number and I have not received my passport yet. I was worried and decided to contact RMP's online chat support. Unfortunately, the chat support agent closed our conversation before my question was answered. I was frustrated and decided to call their customer service line the next day.
When I called, I was told that the US Department of State forgot to put my tracking number in their system. I was shocked to hear that it was now my responsibility to call the DoS and get the tracking number. I tried calling the DoS, but the wait time was so long that they couldn't take any calls. I was disappointed with the level of customer service I received from RMP. I paid $182 for their service, and I expected them to handle the troublesome parts of the process.
In hindsight, I realized that I could have filled out the form and paid for expedited service through the DoS and saved money. I thought I was paying for someone else to handle the process, but it turns out that was not the case. Overall, I am not satisfied with my experience with RushMyPassport.
Misleading and Disappointing Service from RushMyPassport: A Review
I recently had to renew my passport as I was planning to travel internationally in just over two weeks. After doing some research, I decided to use RushMyPassport to expedite the process. I opted for the two-week deal, thinking that it would give me enough time to get everything sorted. However, I was disappointed to find out that their definition of two weeks meant 14 business days, which is actually three weeks. This was frustrating and misleading, but I decided to cancel that order and purchase the one-week express service instead.
After completing all the necessary documents, I received an email instructing me to call a number to download the documents. I tried calling multiple times, but I was either met with a message saying that they were experiencing higher than normal call volume and to leave a message, or I was directed to an answering service that didn't know anything but took my number for them to call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a call back, which left me in a difficult situation. I had to scramble and buy a flight across the country to go to a government passport place to get it done.
To make matters worse, it has been over a month since I requested a refund of the $968 I paid for the service, and I still haven't received it. When I called today to inquire about the refund, I was told that their refund department is running behind. This is unacceptable, and I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from RushMyPassport.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend against using this service. The misleading information about the processing time, the lack of response from customer service, and the delay in receiving a refund have left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would advise anyone looking to expedite their passport renewal to look elsewhere.
RushMyPassport Review: A Nightmare Experience - Waste of Time and Money
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with RushMyPassport. I thought I was being smart by paying extra to expedite my passport in just 5 weeks, giving myself plenty of time to plan my trip. But boy was I wrong. I should have listened to the bad reviews, because this "service" set me back and wasted so much of my time.
First of all, it was near impossible to get ahold of anyone at the company. And when I finally did, they inexplicably held onto my application for WEEKS before submitting it. There was no proactive communication whatsoever. I'm actually not even sure what I paid them hundreds of dollars for, because I'm now having to fly to another state emergently to try and make my trip. It's a complete nightmare.
And to make matters worse, we're well beyond the original travel date I gave the service and there has been zero proactive communication. No updates, no assistance whatsoever. I feel like such an idiot for not just doing this directly with the government. RushMyPassport is a complete waste of time and money.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to skip using them. Check out ALL of the bad reviews and believe them. You know a company doesn't stand by their own service when you can sign up easily online but in order to get a refund you have to fill out an emailed pdf that isn't even set up as a form and physically mail it in. It's like they're playing a numbers game and don't care about the people they're not serving. RUN, don't walk, away from RushMyPassport.
RushMyPassport Review: Don't Waste Your Money on Their "Expedited" Service
I gotta say, RushMyPassport is not the best place to go if you need your passport fast. I mean, I paid $179 for their expedited service and they said it would take 4-6 weeks. But it's been 9 days and my passport is still "under review". I don't even know where it is right now! They said it's supposed to go to DC for one day, then to the State Dept. for one day, but who knows where it actually is. And get this - after they review it in DC, they send it to Philadelphia for processing. And they use USPS to ship it! What's the point of paying them if they're just gonna use USPS anyway?
I'm pretty sure my passport is lost at this point. And even if they find it, they're saying the 4-6 week time starts from whenever they actually get it to a State Dept. location. That's ridiculous. And I've seen other reviews where they don't even mark your passport as expedited, even when you pay for it.
Honestly, save yourself some money and just fill out the forms and overnight it from USPS. It's only $60 for expedited and it'll probably get to you faster than if you go through RushMyPassport. And don't even get me started on their call center people. They're so rude and they never call you back when they say they will. And when you try to escalate your concern, they just put some fake supervisor on the phone. It's a mess.
Terrible Service and Communication from RushMyPassport - Stay Away!
I gotta say, RushMyPassport is not the best company out there. I sent my passport for renewal three weeks ago and I haven't heard anything from them since. They sent me an email about a return mailing issue, but it went straight to my spam folder. They said I didn't sign the application, but I did and I even had a scanned copy of it. I only found out about their email a couple of days ago when I was cleaning up my mailbox and doing a search for follow-ups on my renewal.
I tried calling them several times, but I never got to speak to a live person. I was on hold for hours in total, at different times of the day. I even asked for automatic callbacks, but they never happened. I have a trip planned for early March and this company has really let me down with their lack of communication, service, and follow-up. I even spent another $65 to overnight them another copy of a form they already had, but still no word from them. They have my old passport and passport card, and I have no idea what's going on with my renewal. This is just terrible service and communication. I would advise anyone to stay away from them.
I don't usually write negative reviews, but this is just straight-up negligence on the part of rushmypassport.com. If I don't hear back from them today, I'll be filing a complaint against them under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices act. I mean, come on, guys, get your act together!
Paid for a "rush" passport service that didn't happen. Now I can't get my passport to leave the country
BEWARE****If I could give negative stars I would! NEVER use this service! Go directly to your passport agency. This is a complete waste of time and money. We paid to "expedite" our passport, had plenty of time before our upcoming travel in June 2023. We paid for the expedited travel service March 24th. We called again the end of April b because we never heard any information. We finally receive an email May 9th that the Dept of state had the passports! that is 7 WEEKS after we paid for the 6-8 week service! Since the Dept of State didn't receive the paperwork from "rush my passport" until May 9th, this is when they say it's 7-9 weeks before we receive it. Ive called numerous times and Rush my passport says it's out of their control because the Dept of state has the paperwork. They sat off our renewal for 7 weeks and now I don't know if we will get the passport back in time. They are completely unhelpful, and don't care that this affects people lives/plans. This is a totally SCAM. Save yourself a headache and go directly to your local postoffice/passport agency.
Nightmare service
Upon sending my application to RushmyPassport I learned 3 days after sending that my photo (CVS) didn’t meet guidelines and thus I needed to send new ones, that day I sent off new photos to the given address in email. The address given is an old, dated address with no forwarding and has delayed my application by an additional 4 weeks. I sent my app 4/14, sent new photos 4/18, called many times to no avail, and learned that my third set of photos were finally received 5/16 of 2023
Desired outcome: Refund at least, as this will potentially prevent me from going on the work trip I ordered this for
Damaged passport expedited service
They took my money with the promise of an expedited passport but it was a lie. Now that I paid and they have all my documents in West Palm Beach that I can't get back to take to the post office for regular expediting, they are telling me they don't have a courier to take it to the passport office in time to process and deliver it to me before my travel date. So I will not be going on a long-awaited vacation with extended family members for a milestone birthday. I have endured so much pain and suffering. I want AT LEAST a refund and am interested in any one else who wants to get a lawyer and get them to change their false advertising.
My Order Number: GW357BD1926
Desired outcome: FULL REFUND $109 + $599 plus tax and misc. Better yet -- get me my passport by June 15, 2023, please!
Expedited passport service
I, Amy Cantwell, filled out forms on March 22, 2023. I was under the impression that Rush My Passport had people in Fed Ex who were authorized to sign your documents. They had already taken my money by the time I found that out. All of my documentation would have to be hand carried to a person at the post office. Only problem was there were no appointments to be had. So there was no use for RMP anymore, as they really had done nothing but take my money. I have tried since then to contact them and no live person answers the phone. My order number is GW-4AD 52D132 and I am requesting a refund of $688.85. I have filled out your refund form and filed a complaint with the BBB. I expect this matter to resolved quickly, please, as I'm not going away and clearly since this company has not performed a service for me and yet taken my money, I should be entitled to a full refund.
Desired outcome: Refund of the entire amount taken: $688.85
