VFS Global personal information leaked

I applied for schengen visa through VFS Global Italy in London. I paid all necessary fee during the time the appointment. After 2 days, I got a call from an unknown number stating I had to pay further for the visa and they wanted my card details so they could charge it for the outstanding amount. I realised it was a fraud and told them to send me an email, which I did not receive. My question is how did they get all my personal details.

VFS Global Horrendous eVisa experience. Don’t use VFS Global

If you need a digital Visa do not use VFS Global. I strongly recommend against them. https://www.vfsglobal.com/en/individuals/index.html

They charged me $84 USD for a visa, where I learned later that a visa wasn’t required. They knew when I needed to enter the country and that a visa was not required. They didn’t finish the process by the time I entered the country. Furthermore, they don’t give refunds, even after I already entered the country legally and learned that the visa was never needed after all. See attached for their response.

This is FRAUD and a scam.

VFS Global Why with so many complaints San Francisco Indian consulate does nothing about them!!!

I had filled out the application for business visa for India with much difficulty. Each time I would send an email to this company none of their answers would work. At one point they said we will have our IT to see what the problem is.

I finally had my friend go to their offices, what a disaster !

I have had many visa's to India as I buy regularly from there. I had 3 letters from 3 vendors of mine included in my document and had mentioned many more that I deal with. The person at this office when reviewing the documents said that my application is not accepted because I don't have a letter from every vendor mentioned. When asked were does it say that I have to have a letter from EVERY vendor he asked my friend to leave.

It is unbelievable why Indian consulate does not have any over site as to how they treat the applicants.

They are just there to make money.

Recommendation: Use another company to get your Indian visa.

VFS Global Terrible Customer Service from VFS Global for Passport Renewal

I had a really frustrating experience with VFS Global when I submitted my application for a passport renewal. My application was received by VFS on November 30th and since then, I haven't received any updates from VFS regarding my application status. I expected to receive an email or an SMS update but there was nothing.

I had to pay VFS customer care twice, each time costing me more than $10, just to get an update on my application status. I was shocked to learn that my application was put on hold because they required another set of passport photos. I couldn't understand how they could reject the passport photos which were taken by professionals from CVS.

I resubmitted the photos more than a week ago, but still, there has been no update on my application status. The status still shows "Your application is currently "on hold" due to certain deficiencies. Please check your email for more details and send the requested documents to the VFS Indian consular application Centre where you had submitted your application".

I don't know what's going on at VFS. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. VFS does not send out updates through emails or SMS which means that each time I want an update, I have to call and pay for it. This is unacceptable.

When my husband and I had to renew our passports for ourselves and our kids, we went through CKGS and never experienced anything like this. The Indian consulate should immediately terminate VFS' services and bring back CKGS or any other reputable service.

Overall, my experience with VFS Global has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this service to anyone and urge others to go with a different provider that has better customer service policies.

VFS Global Review: Proceed with Caution When Using VFS Global for Russian Visas from the US

If you're considering using VFS Global to process your Russian visa from the US, we urge you to proceed with caution. Our experience with the company was less than stellar, to say the least.

We submitted our passport and other required documents a full 45 days before our planned travel date, and even paid for premium processing. While we did receive our passport back with our visa in just two weeks, my wife's passport was nowhere to be found. We tried repeatedly to contact customer service, but their responses were unhelpful and uninformative.

It quickly became clear that there was no live communication between the customer service center and the visa processing center, which was presumably staffed by a skeleton crew in DC. Despite our repeated attempts to find out what was going on with my wife's passport, we were met with only sleepy and unresponsive replies. It was incredibly frustrating, to say the least.

It wasn't until we were just a week away from our travel date that we finally managed to get hold of a helpful employee in VFS Global's DC office. She informed us that there was a mistake in the date of birth on our Russian invitation letter, and we quickly faxed over the corrected information. Our passports with visas were returned to us less than 24 hours before we had to leave for Russia.

Based on our experience with VFS Global, we strongly recommend that you think twice before using this company for your Russian visa processing needs. While we ultimately did receive our passports and visas in time for our trip, the process was needlessly stressful and frustrating.

VFS Global Frustration with VFS Global's Online Application Process and Communication

VFS Global, a company catering to software solutions for various countries, unfortunately falls short in providing a smooth user experience for visitors of their website. I found myself facing difficulties navigating the site, unsure of which solution would fit my needs best, especially since I recently turned 50 and was uncertain whether I needed to apply for a new OCI card. With a quick Google search I discovered that I did, however the VFS Global website had two different OCI form checklists and I had to wander into the miscellaneous section to find what I needed. I was disappointed to find that the website had not been updated to reflect this new age requirement and it was never mentioned that I should look for this service due to my age.

Unfortunately, this was just the tip of the iceberg. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, I was relying on email communication to complete my application. Unfortunately, I found that their email response was subpar and their standard of communication left much to be desired. Completing my application online also proved to be a challenge - I attempted to upload my photo and signature several times, only to receive an error message telling me to upload again. This happened six times in a row, and so I decided to read reviews written by others who had also used the website. In the end, I felt compelled to write a review myself.

As someone who is unfortunately unable to travel due to the current situation, I suppose the only silver lining in this situation is that I have time to sort out my issues. It's just a shame that I had to encounter such a frustrating experience while attempting to use VFS Global's services.

VFS Global Worst experience with VFS Global: passport misplaced & missed holidays with family

As a US citizen who recently applied for a long stay visitor visa through the French Consulate in Washington DC via VFS Global, I had the worst experience of my life. Unfortunately, VFS misplaced my passport and as the day of my flight drew near, no one seemed to have any information on where it could be or at what point it was lost. I had paid for overnight courier delivery and had been notified by VFS that my passport had been handed over to FedEx almost 4 days prior to my flight. Yet, when I contacted FedEx, they informed me that they had not received it, leaving me extremely worried and anxious especially as the holidays were drawing close.

Unfortunately, my predicament makes me think I will miss out on the holidays with my family and who knows how long it will take for me to obtain an appointment for an emergency passport. What's worse is that the passport application process will have to begin from scratch again - a huge waste of my time and resources. I wrote several emails to VFS and attempted to contact them on the phone but could hardly speak to any of their agents who were unable to provide any useful information.

VFS Global has caused me thousands of dollars and many days of missed time with my family. I am extremely disappointed and have lost faith in their ability to carry out their role effectively. How can any government agency trust such a company to handle such vital processes? It is extremely important for VFS Global to put in place more measures to ensure the security of documents and timeliness in delivery, lest other applicants suffer the same fate as I have.

VFS Global VFS Global Review: Poor Customer Service and Monopoly Concerns

for sharing your honest experience with VFS Global.

My son recently applied for a UK student visa through VFS Global, opting for their Gold service. It has been almost a month since we submitted the application and we have yet to receive any updates from VFS. We have tried to get in touch with their customer service but it seems impossible. Even the web form on their website only directs us to UKVI, who have confirmed that the decision has already been made. It is frustrating and confusing as to why it's taking so long, despite UKVI having processed the application.

I've had previous experience with VFS Dubai, and from what I've heard from others, I can confidently say that many positive reviews on Trustpilot are most likely paid for. VFS seems to be more interested in lobbying embassies for more business than caring for their paying customers. I believe that this VFS monopoly must end and I hope that this post encourages others to share their experiences on other review platforms.

It would be wonderful if an investigative journalist could take on this issue and create a comprehensive documentary about the VFS monopoly. There have been many complaints from former employees and customers all over the internet, and it's time for this issue to be brought to light.

It's important to note that Trustpilot reviews are actively monitored by VFS, and some of the positive reviews may be from paid individuals. The true customer experience can be quite dismal. I am grateful for genuine reviews here on Sitejabber and I encourage others to share their experiences as well. Thank you for reading.

VFS Global Satisfactory? Far from it! My Experience with VFS Global Visa and Passport Services

Hello there,

I would like to share my experience with VFS Global, a service provider that offers various visa and passport services. To be honest, my experience was far from satisfactory. I must strongly advise you to have a lot of patience while dealing with this agency. In my experience, I have never encountered such a poorly managed and unprofessional agency.

The entire team seems to be clueless and lacks proper training to handle the complex visa and passport procedures. Despite each staff member pretending to be knowledgeable, the overall system is broken. The forms and instructions required to avail any service are incredibly complicated, frustrating, and a financial burden on your pockets.

The entire process is filled with bureaucracy and can make your life unbearable. Unfortunately, the forms you submit can get rejected for numerous reasons, including the digital picture upload, which may be challenged and rejected by the agency, claiming that the background is not white. It is unbelievable but true! I faced that challenge and had to call the agency five times to force them to accept my form. Finally, after uploading the same pictures again, the agency was satisfied that the background was white!

I believe that the entire process is created to make applicants feel helpless. However, calling them and resolving such issues is not an easy task either. I ended up losing almost 45 dollars on phone calls to the agency alone! I had hoped that the process would improve after the agency was changed, but it has only gotten worse.

I was seeking OCI miscellaneous services to change my son's passport information, and the entire process cost me over 200 dollars, including the cost of getting forms notarized. The back-and-forth process was so frustrating that I am sure I never want to go through it again.

Unfortunately, for those residing in the US, there seems to be no choice but to use VFS Global to avail of various visa and passport services. My advice to you is to be well prepared, have a lot of patience, and brace yourself for a complicated and frustrating process.

VFS Global VFS Global: The Nightmare of Visa Application Assistance

If you intend to get help from VFS Global (vfsglobal.com) with your visa application, you might need to brace yourself for some of the worst service you've ever encountered. Their phone lines are barely functional and it's almost impossible to even get through to them to ensure your documents are in order. On the rare occasion that a call goes through, you're most likely going to be greeted with rudeness and outright disinterest from the staff.

It's startling to see how incompetent most of their employees are, despite being in charge of visa application processes. It's little wonder that customers complain about the frustrating experiences they encounter every time they deal with VFS.

As one customer reported, they once traveled all the way from Nottingham to London for an appointment, only to discover a minor mistake in their application. Despite the effort and resources spent going to the appointment, they had to re-book the entire thing. To make matters worse, VFS charged £10 for a 2x2 picture which was deemed to be very expensive.

There's no sense of order or organization in the office, with kids running around and screaming, which can be especially frustrating for someone already going through a stressful situation. It's genuinely questionable how they manage to continue running their services at such a low quality.

No one wants to deal with such poor customer service. I hope I never have to resort to their services again and neither should anyone needing visa application assistance.

VFS Global Disappointing Experience Applying for UK Visa with VFS Global: Slow Service & Communication Issues

I recently had a disappointing experience with VFS Global while applying for a Global Talent Visa for the UK. To begin with, their website was difficult to navigate and slow to respond. Unfortunately, it only went downhill from there. I submitted my application to the New York City office on August 23rd, and even paid an extra $200 for 5-day priority service. However, I did not receive my response and passport until September 23rd, despite their promise of speedy service.

What's even more frustrating is that VFS lost my UPS shipping return label with my GWF reference number on it and never informed me. As a result, I was left waiting for a response from them, which proved nearly impossible to obtain. They don't have a direct email or phone number for visas to the UK, and their recommendations for tracking applications left much to be desired. When I finally managed to contact them, the situation only became more confusing.

It turns out that VFS had held up my application for much longer than necessary, as the UK committee had made a decision on it at least a week prior. Additionally, they refused to take my call when I tried to contact them, directing me instead to an email address that couldn't provide me with any information about the status of my application.

Through some persistence on my part, I was ultimately able to get my passport back through VFS, but it was a long and stressful process that left me feeling disillusioned with their service. To make matters worse, their delay caused me to miss my flight and start work a week and a half late. I've requested a refund for the priority service that I paid for, but I'm not sure if they will honor it.

Overall, I would have to say that my experience with VFS Global was a negative one. While it's possible that they have improved their services since my interaction with them, I would recommend anyone else to exercise caution when using their services, and to closely monitor their application's progress to ensure everything is on track.

VFS Global My Disappointing Experience with VFS Global: Lack of Customer Service and Communication

My recent experience with VFS Global has left me severely disappointed and frustrated. As a contracted service provider for the UK government, I expected a certain level of professionalism and efficiency, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of my expectations.

To provide some context, I applied for my student visa in July 2021 and my biometrics appointment was in August. I shipped all required documents to their New York office shortly after my appointment, and paid for the SMS service with the expectation that I would receive updates and text notifications about the status of my application.

However, after weeks of waiting, I received an email from VFS Global asking for a return label. Confused, as I had already purchased one for them to ship back to my address, I paid them $45 for another label and provided my return address. Unfortunately, this email did not mention whether my visa had been approved or provide any indication of its status, which left me in a state of uncertainty.

From that point on, I reached out to VFS Global multiple times through various channels, including their customer service email and individual employees who had been CC'd on previous emails. Despite my attempts, I received no responses except one out of office email with a phone number in the bottom corner.

My frustration reached a boiling point when I received an email from an employee stating that my visa would be dispatched within the next two days, which lacked any real information about my application. At that point, I felt like I had no other option but to travel from Boston to New York and visit the VFS Global office in person.

When I arrived at the office, I found myself surrounded by numerous other people who were experiencing the same issues and anxieties as I was. After waiting for hours without any progress, I finally received an email stating that my passport was ready to be shipped out at the end of the day. Despite my presence at the office, VFS Global still wanted to ship my passport out due to "protocol," which was frustrating and unhelpful.

I made it clear that I would not leave the office until I had my passport in my hand and, after sitting on the side of the street for seven long hours, I finally received my visa.

Overall, my experience with VFS Global was extremely disappointing. While I understand the challenges posed by the pandemic, the level of customer service and communication provided by VFS Global was seriously lacking. The fact that people who paid for priority service did not receive it is unacceptable, and the blame-shifting onto UKVI for the delays only added insult to injury.

It is clear that there needs to be an immediate and swift change to the way VFS Global operates. People have deferred their programs, spent extra money to hold their housing, and missed flights because of this company's incompetence. This situation is beyond unacceptable, and I hope that urgent action will be taken to prevent experiences like mine from happening again.

VFS Global Review of VFS Global: Subpar Service and Exorbitant Fees for French Visa Applications

As a Moroccan citizen who has lived in France for four years and currently resides in the US, I have had to apply for a visa almost yearly to visit family in Paris. While the French Consulate in LA used to handle these visa procedures, they have outsourced this responsibility to VFS Global, a company that has proven to offer subpar service at best.

Firstly, the appointment fee has become exorbitantly expensive since VFS Global took over. Additionally, their employees at their office are frequently condescending and unhelpful. It is outrageous that someone would tell me to my face that they don't care if I can't make it to France on time.

Moreover, I was shocked by the lack of competency displayed by their call center representative, Alex, who intentionally provided me with incorrect information on multiple occasions. In contrast, Fernanda, whom I spoke to later, was extremely helpful and made matters right in a matter of minutes. It is unacceptable to have such disparities in the level of service between representatives from the same company.

Furthermore, the VISA system itself is already dubious, as it ranks citizens based on their place of birth. This system becomes even more detrimental when coupled with VFS Global's lackluster service and questionable employee hiring standards.

It is unfortunate that corporate greed has given us no choice but to work with this one company for such an important service. Without competition, VFS Global has no motivation to provide quality service for the exorbitant price they charge. While some employees display professionalism, others choose to act like reprehensible human beings, causing frustration and wasting the time and money of customers.

In summary, I hope that the French Consulate in LA will reconsider their decision to work with VFS Global and prioritize their customers' needs. The visa process is already complicated enough without the extra stress caused by poor service.

VFS Global Negative experience with VFS Global's passport renewal service on vfsglobal.com

I had a truly negative experience with VFS Global's service on their website, vfsglobal.com, to renew my passport. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their leadership a positive rating as they did not provide me with the assistance I needed.

Starting the passport renewal process was already a hassle; the website did not progress from one page to another, and I received no proper error message for why my application was stuck. I struggled for over 15 days before finally sending in my form.

After the completion of the process at the embassy, VFS finally received my documents. However, after waiting for three weeks, the VFS global portal was still reviewing my documents. I eventually received an email asking for my dispatch address, and the email mentioned that my passport was ready for dispatch. Even after waiting an additional four days after receiving the email, I called a live agent to inquire when I could receive my renewed passport. To my dismay, the agent informed me that my documents were still under review, despite it being four weeks since they received my documentation.

Overall, I was utterly disappointed and frustrated with my entire experience with VFS Global. Their customer service was not helpful at all throughout the process, and their website was not user-friendly. I hope that VFS Global can improve their services and become more reliable for future customers.

VFS Global Disappointing Experience with VFS Global OCI Misc Service for Minors: Lack of Communication and Blaming Customers for Mistakes

I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with the VFS Global OCI Misc service for minors. While attempting to obtain a visa, I diligently downloaded all the necessary forms from their website, which included their checklist (https://visa.vfsglobal.com/one-pager/india/united-states-of-america/oci-services/pdf/oci-misc-services-minor-checklist.pdf) and followed it to the tee. However, when I checked the status of my application, I was informed that I had sent the wrong parental authorization form. I was taken aback by this because I had followed the checklist provided by VFS Global themselves. Despite this, they blamed me for the mistake, which is unacceptable since it was their checklist that caused the confusion in the first place.

Furthermore, I was told that my photo did not meet their specifications, which I found puzzling as I had followed the instructions provided in their application package to the letter. I am now forced to resend the parental authorization form and provide a new photo for my application to be processed again. What a complete waste of time and effort! It is frustrating to say the least.

Overall, my experience with VFS Global has been disappointing and has left me feeling like the company needs to improve its customer service. The lack of clear communication and the fact that they blamed me for their mistake is unacceptable, and I hope that they take steps in the future to rectify this issue. Customers deserve better than this.

VFS Global Disappointing Experience with VFS Global: Poor Communication and Unnecessary Charges

I applied for an Oct Card with VFS Global on December 6th, 2020. It has been over two months since I submitted my application and I am still unsure of the status. It is frustrating to see that when they require documents, they expect them to be mailed within seven days, yet when it is time for them to do something, they cannot even provide a proper response.

Furthermore, their customer service helpline charges money, which seems ridiculous given that taxpayers in India already pay taxes for these services. It is unfortunate that after poor experiences with CKGS, I had hoped that VFS Global would provide a better service but this has not been the case.

Although the website is slightly better than CKGS, it still fails to provide full details on required documents. Additionally, sending the application via FedEx, which must be purchased through them, and attaching a UPS return mailer for the OCI card, seems like unnecessary details that benefit no one but themselves.

It's a shame that Indian document services cannot seem to get their act together and provide better service to their customers. Overall, my experience with VFS Global has been frustrating and I hope they can improve their processes in the future.

VFS Global Unsatisfactory Experience with VFS Global: A Warning for Other Travellers

My experience with VFS Global was entirely unsatisfactory, and I strongly recommend others to steer clear of this service. I found them to be incredibly disorganised, with a complete lack of centralised communication between their staff. One employee does not seem to be aware of what the other is doing, making the process extremely frustrating and time-consuming.

To make matters worse, their help line is in India, and the service is supposed to be global, creating more barriers and confusion for customers. I found that VFS Global did not deliver on their promises, with no sense of accountability or responsibility taken for their service.

I was promised a visa within five days, yet my passport was held by the Indian Embassy for over twelve days. This extensive delay is entirely unacceptable, and it severely interfered with my ability to travel and move around. When I asked to withdraw my passport, I encountered a lengthy process that only added to my frustration and confusion. To make matters worse, it was almost impossible to get a hold of any staff members for help or clarification.

In sum, I strongly urge anyone in need of an Indian visa to exhaust all other alternatives before seeking help from VFS Global. I highly recommend choosing an online version of the visa process, which is a far more reliable and effective way for Australian travellers to obtain their visa with minimal hassle.

VFS Global My Disappointing Experience with VFS Global: Overpriced and Confusing Payment Process, Poor Customer Service

I recently used VFS Global's service to process my UK visa, but unfortunately I found it to be quite expensive. Although I was able to complete the application process successfully, I found that their website instructions for payment and rescheduling were quite confusing. In fact, I ended up making two payments because I wasn't aware that I needed to cancel the original payment before rescheduling my appointment. When I requested a refund, I was told that it would take up to 10-15 days, but even after multiple emails back and forth, my issue remained unresolved. Eventually, I had to call my bank and ask them to cancel the payment.

Despite the ease with which they were able to take my money, I found the refund process to be quite awful. It's disappointing that a company that provides a supposedly premium service would make it so difficult to get a refund.

On top of that, I was perplexed by the pricing for their bronze package which over $400. All it really provides is someone to check documents (which anyone can do), take biometrics, and send them out via next day air UPS. What's more, they can't provide advice on what documents are included or answer any specific questions. For that kind of money, I was hoping for more personalized service, or at least a more detailed list of what was included in the package.

It's unfortunate that so many consulates are using VFS Global's services since my experience was less than satisfactory. Hopefully, they will take some of this feedback to heart and work on improving their processes and pricing so that others don't have the same experience.

VFS Global Disappointing customer service experience with VFS Global for visa and passport services

When it comes to visa and passport services, VFS Global is certainly a global giant. However, it is unfortunate that customers are limited to contacting them only via email. It feels like a letdown for such a reputable company. The fact that there is no on-call support available just adds to the frustration. It's understandable that people want regular updates and replies when handling such important matters, and emails alone cannot provide the reassurance one needs. Unfortunately, even if you happen to provide all the necessary details in your email, the response you receive is almost always a standard template response. It's hard to believe that VFS Global doesn't have the time to read through each email and respond in a personal and helpful manner.

The lack of attention and personalization in their approach is concerning. They tend to categorize requests instead of addressing questions or concerns that customers may have. If you're hoping for an expedited response, forget about it. Even after multiple inquiries, the most you'll get is an email stating that a decision on your request will be responded to within a certain timeframe. But, oftentimes, it takes twice or thrice as much time as originally stated.

One cannot help but question the Indian embassy's decision to partner with VFS Global. Their entire approach to customer service feels subpar and their overall performance leaves much to be desired. It's not clear if there are avenues available to lodge complaints or provide feedback to the Indian embassy regarding VFS Global.

All in all, it's a terrible experience to deal with VFS Global. Here's hoping they take steps towards improving their customer service in the near future.

VFS Global VFS Global: A Nightmare User Experience for Visa Applications

Looking for a hassle-free visa application experience? Unfortunately, VFS Global may not be the solution for you. The user experience on their website is a complete nightmare - the layout is not intuitive and the instructions are vague at best. It feels like they expect you to be an expert in visa processes, when in reality most people who use their services are not.

If you do decide to use VFS Global, be prepared for a frustrating experience. One reviewer shared their experience with shipping labels - they were overpriced and caused a lot of trouble. There were issues with the labels being incorrect and when the employee attempted to correct it, it only made things worse. In one instance, they were given an email with an attachment, only for there to be no attachment. When asked about it, they were provided with the wrong attachment.

This level of incompetence is honestly appalling - it's hard to believe that this is a company that people trust with important documents like passports. It's clear that some staff members are not properly trained and it's reflected in the quality of their work. If you have the option to use an alternative service for your visa application, we would highly recommend that you do so.

VFS Global Nightmarish Experience with VFS Global: Lack of Support and Constant Technical Glitches

My recent experience with VFS Global has been nothing short of a nightmare. As someone with an urgent matter at hand, I had been waiting for weeks to secure an appointment for visa application. After several attempts, I finally saw an available time slot and attempted to book it, but was immediately faced with an error message. I attempted to rebook the appointment several times, but to no avail. The lack of response from the company made my terrible experience even more frustrating.

Fast forward to today, almost two months since my initial attempt, and I finally saw two available appointment slots. I eagerly tried to book them but, once again, received the dreaded error message. Despite my multiple attempts, I was unable to secure an appointment before they both got fully booked. This kind of constant technical glitch on the website is beyond unacceptable and should be addressed immediately.

Moreover, the lack of assistance or support form the company really shook my trust in the organization. As someone who required urgent assistance, I was left feeling frustrated and hopeless. It's really disappointing to see a company that is supposed to aid people with their travel needs failing so miserably. The company should be doing much more to resolve these issues and offer better support to their customers. Overall, my experience with VFS Global has been extremely disappointing and I would not recommend them to anyone.

VFS Global Disappointing Experience with VFS Global: Lack of Communication and Customer Service

My experience with VFS Global (vfsglobal.com) was one of frustration and disappointment. Despite submitting my passport and visa application for Russia on June 12, I received no response to my numerous attempts to contact them, whether by email or phone calls. As my departure date loomed closer and closer, I grew increasingly worried and anxious about the status of my visa.

Finally, on July 15, with no resolution in sight, I had no choice but to report my passport lost and obtain a new one through an expedited service. Miraculously, my Russian visa was delivered on the morning of my departure, allowing me to make my trip, but the stress and hassle of it all left a sour taste in my mouth.

To add insult to injury, VFS Global later sent my old passport and Russian visa to me on July 19 - a mere six days after I had already left the country. Their customer service left much to be desired, and a representative at ***@vfsglobal.com offered to make things right. When I requested a refund of my $320 money order, they requested that I send a copy of it so they could verify who had signed for it. I complied, but never received any response or reimbursement.

In short, I cannot recommend VFS Global to anyone seeking a smooth and stress-free visa application process. While my experience may be an outlier, I would advise looking into other companies that may offer better customer service and communication.

VFS Global VFS Global: A Disappointing and Inefficient Service Provider for Visa Applications

I recently had a very disappointing experience with VFS Global, and frankly I'm surprised that any country would entrust their entry process to this company. My impression of the country I wanted to visit was severely diminished by the poor performance of VFS. It seems they treat the visa application process as if it were just another transaction, like buying a pizza, rather than the important matter that it is. They even try to sell you additional services, causing more chaos and confusion.

What's more, the impression I received from the automated response email was terrible - I felt as if I were being prosecuted and judged by a cold, impersonal machine. The information provided was often inaccurate and incomplete, making it difficult to navigate through the application process smoothly. Unfortunately, in my case, VFS exceeded the agreed-upon timeframe for returning my passport. I was forced to go to extra lengths and obtain a new passport. Then to my surprise, my visa application was denied without any justifiable reason. I provided all the necessary documents and had an established travel itinerary, including my return flights and work plans, yet I was still rejected.

I cannot recommend using VFS Global, and I sincerely hope that soon the countries who contract their services will take their business elsewhere. It seems that VFS is only motivated by the promise of low-cost services, which clearly comes at the expense of quality and care. Ultimately, it is a very bad company, and unfortunately, it is very bad for the countries who rely on them.
