Safelink a division of Tracfone is an absolutely terrible company. I know this is a "lifeline" program but they suck OUT LOUD! I have been trying to port a Tracfone# that I have had for years to these guys and after 2 months and 3 sim cards they still can't do it. I am turning these rip off artists over to my local Dept. of Welfare who oversees this program in this state and also to the FTC for fraud and deceptive advertising. They show decent phones on their cover page then they send you these complete pieces of junk. And forget about trying to speak to someone their phone system just puts you on an endless loop of press this button or that button. BE ADISED STAY AWAY FROM THESE IDIOTS!
roaming/calls not allowed
I have a safelink phone provided by tracfone, on Jan. 3 2014, my phone went into the roaming mode while I was away from my home and the message "not allowed " was displayed when any call was attempted. Called customer service from my landline the next day and was informed that my phone seemed to be working at that time and there was nothing they could do. I was also told if I had called when the problem was occuring they could have helped . I am no genius but if I am stuck on the side of the road with a phone that will not allow calls, how is it possible to call and inform them of the problem?

rip off
These people are a bunch of thieves. They stole 1324 minutes from me that I had paid for on my tracfrone before it became a Safelink phone. I was told before joining Safelink that those minutes would not be affected but any safelink minutes would not rollover unless I purchased airtime. That was a LIE. Because I did not buy additional airtime they took my 1324 minutes and knocked me down to 250 minutes. Customer service is worthless. They are all in India and you can't hardly understand them. They are unapologetic thieves and liars.
My complaint has been completely resolved. After posting a comment on customerservicescoreboard.com a Safelink rep posted a reply asking me to contact them to help fix my problem. Safelink customer service monitors that site. The email address SL.CorpResolutionTeam@safelkink.com is a good address. I emailed them this morning with a complete account of my problem and within a couple of hours my minutes had been fully restored. I thank Sean at Safelink for solving this problem for me.

safelink benefits scamming elderly and the usa government
SafeLink, P.O. Box 220009, Milwaukie, OR, [protected], [protected] send an application to provide a wireless phone and a package in exchange to Lifeline benefits provided by the US government to SSI receivers. The promised phone never arrive and in September, AT&T, my land line provider discontinued the Lifeline credit to my account. After repeated attempts to contact SafeLink on the provided numbers which took me to a wireless provider that never answered my call, I received today a request from them for verification to comply to a FCC request and a new number (above). I called and required to cancel the account and refund the money (17, 99) for the months of September, October and November to me or the government and send a letter of confirmation of account cancel + money refund. The customer service, followed by the supervisor Wall Albert (both seemed Indian accent), first denied they owe any money and refused to send a confirmation letter, giving the cancelation number 9339209. Scam?
scarykat has no idea what they are talking about. He/She can have no idea of the circumstances of each person that needs Safelink or their competitor's phone.
I, for one, had to move to another part of the state to care for my elderly mother and lost all my customers. I rarely have time to fix things around her place and do not, because I live in GA, get paid to care for her like in other states. Family cannot be paid as caretakers in GA. I'm sure there are many disabled folk and whatever other circumstances, like corporations, banks, lending companies, stock houses and politicians that all contributed to the crash of George Bush the 2nd's economic crash that still haven't been able to recover economically. You need to feel the pain and walk in others' shoes before painting users with a negative broad brush. People like you make intolerance grow in this country, that used to help their neighbors and strangers in need.
My only problem with Straight Talk is that their system can't tell that I Do use my phone every month and they incessantly communicate with me, via email, text messages and postal mail, telling me to use my phone at least once a month. They even start threatening to take my service away. 350 minutes per month is a good safety net for me to contact my mother or her me, when I'm away from home or if my transportation should break down and I need to call a tow truck which can take many minutes of phone use if you've ever had to call one in a highly populated metro area.
Update your systems, Tracfone/Safelink to see that people Are using their phones and stop the harassment please.
Just complain of face book. They will fix it within minutes. Instead of calling the call center in India. No under you guys need a free cell. Can't think for yourself. You don't pay, yet you want great customer service. Don't tell me about your tax money. You don't pay tax... lol you should thank god for America you would die in other countrys. this is not for ssdi ppl this is for the fat nasty ppl i see on the bus talking into the cells acting as if they entitled to everything free
I see so many people complaining on here, but I don’t think you guys are going to the right people to get help. Some of my family members have a SafeLink phone. Every time something is wrong with it, we send an email to this address and the people working these emails are wonderful. Try it. The email address is SL.CorpResolutionTeam@safelink.com. Send them your name, cell phone number or serial number and they will help you.
I never had a problem with them. However, for one poster - you can only have ONE discounted phone service. If you get the Safelink wireless, they will not give you the discount on the land line. You have to pick which one you want. However - I would suggest if you have cable type internet and not dial up, you look into the internet based phone services for your landline. Try Basictalk at $9.99 a month plus tax (like $13) . That way you can get your Safelink for free and a cheap landline. I suggest you DO NOT get Vonage - their rates may be good to start, but they seem to keep go up all the time!
I'm in the same boat and have no phone since Aug. 2013 until present day! A rep from India picks up the phone and claims to mail me ALL THE NECESSARY FORMS and that all I have to do is mail or fax (fax is faster 2-3 business days!) with proof of Medicaid or food stamps and they'll reactivate my phone, but wait! NO, they DON"T! I've been in circles with these people for 6 months and they deliberately DON"T mail you anything, or if they do and you follow directions and mail it back to them - then they claim they don't receive! I've tried reapplying at least 10 times and faxed forms Jan. 6th and received a confirmation that the fax went through ok, but guess what? Again I have these Indian accent reps telling me that they didn't receive it for the 10th time, hanging up on me when I get upset, denying me their names or the supervisor to speak with or making up excuses about something missing after I've spent 6 months talking to them at least 50 times! I have complained to the commissioner of my city and recently filed FCC complaint about them on false advertising...I HATE SAFELINK WIRELESS!
bad service
I have called safelink several times and my cell number says [protected] yet it only retrieves calls by this number of [protected]. My number is suppose to be [protected]. It is a replacement phone, old phone returned and the cell number is not correct and I am missing doctor calls, and medical rides for the 2 numbers. Please my number is to be [protected]; [protected] is my sim number and phone serial is012517000533520. Please correct or advise. One tech said a new sim card is the answer, yet in the meantime I am missing important calls;
Sincerely, Beverly Osborn

not receiving minutes after I have paid for them TWICE with my debit card and the money deducted from my checking acct. 7 hours talking to people who do not know what they are doing, being transferred and then dissconnected
I am complaining about safelink service. I do not like the fact that my personal information is across seas. I have been trying to get my minutes added to my phone and I am angry about the problem I have had. I have dialed a least six numbers, and been put on hold a number of times. I have had call backs. I was given a enrollment I D # and told to call one of the many numbers an to let them know the number an my time will be added. Today, I am told I have to do another application. I as told this will be approximately a full month with no service. I spoke to a man who says I need to redo my application. I am about, I mailed what I was asked to and now I will have no service. What is wrong with this company? Is it legal, are there no one in the United State's to speak with?
regarding the suggestion to: " Email them at SL.CorpResolutionTeam@safelink.com "
well, my experience was that THAT email is NO LONGER valid (i.e. "UNDELIVERABLE" )
The Safelink email servers BOUNCED any emails sent to that address!
This Safelink Wireless outfit has gone to extreme lengths to prevent any human interaction with applicants or customers!
Now that is a FRIGHTENING business model for a quasi-governmentally supported service provider!
btw: I applied last month ; NO phone; NO communications
cell phone product causing problems
Safelink is providing free goverment sponsored cell phones to individuals on foodstamps. I have received over 30 calls within the past two weeks from individuals who received these preowned phones. They stated that my phone number appeared as a missed call on their phone that they had just turned on and called me. I did not call them and these calls were from various states. I'm located in the Augusta, GA area. My internet provider could not help me as they are not involved with people who are calling. I'm tried calling Safeline but they don't provide a phone number. This is extremely bothersome and I don't know how to correct this. I don't want to change my phone number. How did safelink do this and why weren't this phones cleaned up prior to sending them out?

customer service
The reason for this is that they don't know how to provide customer service and fix the problem instead they ask the same questions three to five times over. I am currently having an issue with not getting my minutes on time. I guess what they normally give me a code now a service agent decided to fix the problem and screwed it all up that now the codes are not acceptabel. Don't they know that they the population of people that they provide phones are mentally challenges, low income an they need to have these services available. I will not stop until I report this to the government. If a service will be provided for this population, please provide good system with phone. Not everytime the phone is lost or broken a new phone is created. I am currently with them on line still have not fix my problems and now an error message has been calling back and waiting on the line for another 3 hrs. I will really bring this to the attention of the government.

Please bring the customer service jobs back to America. Every time I call I get someone that I can barely understand and at the same time they have the worst attitude. I have called three times with the same problem and talked to three different agents that were all rude. Each one advised me to do the same thing over and over again and it still didn't work. I can handle the fact that they didn't know what they were doing but to be rude and have a nasty attitude when providing customer service is unacceptable.
very poor service
I was grateful to to receive free cell phone service from Safelink. My first phone had such bad reception my friends would say Ill call you back after 1 minute. They replaced that phone, but the next one was just the same. I called agin and asked if it could be the service not the phone and was told yes and then hung up on. I wonder if this isn't a scam to get government money. I want nothing to do with them and wish I knew how to report them to the ones who fund them. two words
My mother has a safelink phone and the battery wont hold a charge. I have spent the last hour on the phone trying to talk to some one with no avail. There is no one to talk to anywhere on that customer service line. We will not buy a replacement battery when she has only had the phone a few months. Please help me resolve this problem. She is 90 and needs this phone to work.
I have been with "Safelink" ?, for about 2 years and for that entire time they have without fail stolen minutes from my phone service. Each and every time they expect me to call them from another phone and spend hours going through a bunch of different codes and then try and argue that my phone is working just fine. They never refund the minutes that they steal from you. The latest scam they pulled on me was while I was away from home, which they knew because the phone has a GPS system on it, I had 843 minutes on my display of the balance of minutes I had left. The next thing I knew, the display of minutes disappeared. The next call I made briefly showed that my balance of minutes had gone from 843 down to 744 (99 minutes gone). The call I made lasted 19 minutes. I called customer service to complain and they said that they could not help me because I was not at another phone to call them from and go through their scam again, which would be the 7th time I had gone through the code BS. This company is criminal and stealing a great deal of our governments money and with no remorse for the disabled or elderly.
sent in form to safelink.checked on it and they said there was some sort of problem name is lee zimbler.
I have safelink and i have to call sometimes for them to put my minutes on. I feel that it is free and they get it done so I am cool with the phone. They do not have to give us a phone at all. That just me.
poor service&productðics
For a federal program the government does not oversee and administer this service at all. It is simply forgotten and subcontracted to Trac Fone who runs a shoddy program bereft with problems, poor service and unethical policies that take advantage of the poor and disabled. Instead of providing free customer service the user is charged for service calls despite knowing there are limited minutes available and clients would have few if any extra funds for buying more. All your service calls are outsourced overseas along with those ph rep jobs and run through foreign countries where representatives would have indecipherable accents for the disabled American clients trying to communicate with them. Then the process requires repeatedly trying to confirm multi digit enrollment and serial numbers which inevitably are incorrect in attempts to confirm with said ph reps each time repetitiously. A typical service call could last up to an hour or even 2 before getting something done if at all, (never mind all the stalling tactics like call menus, holds and repeated transfers in between). This is assuming the customer does not end the call in frustration first w/o resolving any issues. This service is also known to resend old voice mails and txt that were deleted months ago in oder to scam the client into picking them up and wasting more mins. Its disconcerting to receive a message you thought was new from your family and maybe sounds potentially important yet is meaningless. Also, instead of offering one, two or even five cent text charges; the company whacks these low income people for up to a full min charge per txt. Of course this is all designed to burn up the limited mins that were available to begin with so Trac Fone can try to sell low value over priced {60 min/$20 dollar calling cards}. Buy a couple of these a month and you might as well pay the full (give or take) $40 it would cost for a real plan with extended mins and a quality phone with a quality service and features. If that were an option, people would not be using this horrible service to start with. Of course this is just fine with the GOP and stingy tightwad tax payers, (offended to pay a few dollars extra per mo for universal service)- 'who can't stand it that disadvantaged people might actually have some lifeline communications'. The whole program is a sham because the gov does not properly oversee it, allowing Trac Fone to scam the oppressed. A full Congressional Investigative committee should be examining the farce that is Safe Link phones for the needy.

service
Tracfone does all the Safelink support for Safelink phones. I filled out a tech support ticket asking if i could upgrade my phone. I was told yes but it has to be a Tracfone. Then i registered an account @Tracfone because that's what tech support told me to do. After completing all of the steps i noticed the next day none of my minutes and service days were transfered to my new phone. I signed into my Tracfone account and i noticed it displayed your "phone needs updates". After completing the updates i noticed i arrived at a "buy it now" page just hit cancel. My phone now had the minutes and service days on the new phone. I had emailed support and asked prior to switching to another Tracfone would i receive my minutes next month. They never gave me a straight answer and the next month i found out why.
Next month my minutes weren't put on my phone.
I emailed support numerous times they kept giving me the run around. Their requests went from inserting codes into the phone and then i was told to call them because my account was past due. Past due? How could that be when i have a Safelink phone? After talking with tech support and asking them what info do they want next, he said call the VMBC dept.
That dept needs to speak to me directly to verify something but he wouldn't say what that was. I got them on the phone and was asked what is my correct address. Then i was told the address i registered with on Tracfone website inorder to switch phones didn't match my original address when i signed up for a Safelink account. That was the reason she said my minutes weren't added and i only had until 3/29/11 to correct this. When i contacted VMBC i was told that since i missed the 3/29 date that i need to call back in 5-10 days. I said 5-10 days i'm already talking to you now.
Then i went on to tell her i already updated my address when i called tech support on 10/04/10 and 1/16/11. It's not my fault tech support was told and didn't update my records. Last year i received my annual verification form in the mail with my current address now on it. So i assumed they already had my address change. Paste this link into your browsers url bar (http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/97/tracfone02g.png) and look at the date on it. That proves they had my current address already and had no reason to cutoff my minutes on 3/29/11.
My annual verification isn't due until 8/24/09 and not due on 3/29/11. They never notified me that i need to do anything by 3/29/11 since they had my current address. I finally emailed their non support and asked what can i do to get my service restored. I was told i need to contact them to verify some things. When i called support after 65 minutes nothing was resolved because tech support didn't have a clue of what questions the VMBC dept wanted to ask me.
Finally i got my service restored and my 250 minutes were added but my enrollment status read "Enrolled - Pending full verification form return". Keep in mind on 4/02/11 i asked what this status meant and as of the date of this post the VMBC never mailed me any verification form. On 4/05/11 @12:37pm i faxed last years verification form to the VMBC dept and asked for a confirmation they received it. Again after repeated requests no confirmation was acknowledged. I've lost 65 minutes and as of 4/09/11 my status remains the same. I also contacted their resolution dept and i can say they are as worthless as their tech support is. Most likely i won't receive my minutes next month even though i faxed them the form they needed but didn't ask for or send to me. All i can say is this is one screwed up company and no wonder they have so many BBB complaints.

I have tried working with Safelink Wireless for the past three weeks and gotten nothing but more problems and still do not have service.
First, on December 12th I had no service and after a day of trying to contact them, attempting their suggested fixes, I had to endure the interrogation of personal information that is usually not given over the phone, but I did, since I had already provided it initially without thinking. After trying their recovery process, which took another day and got nowhere, I went through the gauntlet of pre-recorded messages and automatic computer phases again before I got to a real person. Dealing with this individual and the canned responses I got the excuse the reason my service was not active for my phone was that I had provided the wrong zip code, they had my billing zip code coded in the system versus my residence. I do not understand this being I am only 6 blocks away from post office and it is still the same area and I have had service undisturbed for two years up to this point. He had me shut off my phone and wait 5 minutes then turn it back on, if that didn’t work do it again, but must wait one hour to give the system time to reboot; and if this didn’t work try it one more time making sure I had waited at least one hour before trying. I humored the guy and after three tries was able to use my phone two days later; little did I know they had change my phone number.
Second, January 1st, after two week of no calls and I had been expecting several return calls for setting up interview times for a real full time job, finally, nothing! I called back and after long waits got a hold of someone, more pleasant than the last two times and helpful, I found out my phone number had been changed without ever receiving notification of the change. I also, informed her I had not yet received my monthly allotted minutes and she assured me I would have them by the next day.
Third, January 3rd, two days later, I still had no minutes and I called, waiting on hold several minutes before speaking to a real person to find out my service had been cancelled without notification. I had tried to cancel my subscription at the start of all this hassle and was inform I could not do so without a justifiable cause for them to cancel and was bound by a service contract through 1/23/2016.
Now, I am without service and must to re-register in order to get service back. I will find another service other than Safelink Wireless, this is the worst service ever and totally unreliable and inconsiderate.
Go to Assurance Wireless! Safelink SUCKS! Not only do you NOT understand what the csr are saying. They all seem to be brain dead! I've been trying to get my replacement phone over 5 months now. The dummies sent the first one to my old address EVEN THOUGH I UPDATED it. I was told they would send another one out. They evenrepeted my new address to me on the phone...I still don' have the replacement phone! So after 4 calls, over 450 minutes later-my next call was to secure my number so that I coulod use it with another company...Th results of that- Yup! NOTHING! Them fools zapped me of my energy. I hate Safelink. BUT I STILL WANT MY NUMBER. SAFELINK SUCKS!
I have had a track phone for years now with no trouble. This May I was sent a message on my track phone saying I need to verify my acount so that they could keep the service going for another year as they always do. I did so. In a few days they sent me a messagee stating I was no longer qualified for my free mins. And as I have a health con. I need my track phone in case. I went on line to fix the problem. The form on line would not let me finsh my verification process. I called and they inforrmed me that the info that I have given on line was not correct. They asked me a few questions. To which I answered. They then said there was a mistake made. They read back the info. I told them everything they read to me WAS right. They claimed it wasn't. The woman was rude to me . So asked for a supervisor. She said (after asking her 6 times) I'll put you on hold forr 3 minutes only. She then came back with (after 2 minutes) stating there is no supervisor here. I told her "yah ? what's the matter she doesn't want to speak to me? " She started to say that she just stepped out and will not be back. While in the back round I could clearly hear her say (I don't want to speak to him). I said IF you do not put the woman on the phone I will call corp office and report you and her forr the way they treat there customers. Then I called Corp office. There were very sorry forr the way I was treated. And are willing to help resolve the issue at hand.
I agree, Safelink sucks. I got tired of calling them every month to get my minutes, as their customer service is atrocious and I talk to the same damn fools every time. I have not been able to use my phone for the past four months and I'm going to have it cut off. I refuse to pay 20 dollars for 1 hour of time. I will never get another, even if it is free.
I bought this product in the "as seen on tv" store in DC. I had to try on two sizes before I found one that fit. After I put it on latter at home, it ripped, and it rode up from the bottom whrn I wore it under my clothes. It was a waste of money, but I'm glad I didn't buy it off the internet.
awful customer service
I have contacted safelink wireless approx. 5 times on 2/12/2011 concerning changing my phone number but have gotten no resolve to change my phone number. In addition, I keep getting put on hold and continuously asked the same questions over and over again. not only that, but now I can neither receive phone calls or call out on my phone. they keep telling me...

My phone was stolen out of my ***.we called safe link they gave us a new phone they put minutes back on the phone. when we call out all we get is the office. we cant call anybody else.now i have 150 minutes left. still we cant call 911 in case my husband needs help he is disabled.so i wrote martha roby a letter telling her the same thing. maybe she can get answers about why we cant call out. thats the only phone we have.
Its a free phone stop complaining and get a land line, There is a land line program called life line. They don't have to give you service on safelink and i betting when they see this complaint they won't. I know its Not fun to have something not work but have never seen anyone on here complain about a company who is giving you something free. And i find it hard to believe you can't call 911. Even a phone that is off with no mins can call 911.
I have been without this phone for about three months, service is horrible!
Need new phone, old one doesnt work
these free services are never meant to help those who need help for corporations who supply the sevices.
bad service and bad customer service
I helped my stepson get a safelink phone about a year ago. It has been the biggest JOKE around! They had to send 2-3 phones before he got a good one, we had to stay on the phone on hold for about 1-2 hours everytime we called customer service to set up the phones! Then he accidentally dropped the phone and it broke, so he bought one at Wal-mart that they said would be ok to use.( i called and asked first) So we spent another 2-3 hours of time trying to get it set up with customer service, it worked awhile, then just quit. He hasn't tried anymore, we were so fed up with them. They have been getting paid by the Government all this time, and he has not got anything out of it! Their customer service is in a foreign country giving those people jobs, when they could use Americans who need jobs. If there is a class action lawsuit, we would be glad to be a part of it!

the c service is horrible cant speak english rude call back and harass im all up for law suit unreal!
my phone is terrible, when I call here in the city, it sounds like I'm calling China, hey, it's free.but wow it takes like a min just to make a call and usually you have to call twice, also this is my 2nd phone from them..its better than nothing..
I have never had worse customer service. I have tried to call there so called customer service for three days. Each time waiting for over 30 minutes until I was so fed up I had to hang up thinking that maybe it was a busy time to call. I am on hold once again... it has been almost TWO hours! They said to expect a 15 minute wait... 15 minutes... MY ###! I find this totally unexceptable. How can they possibly call this customer service! I think it's time to hang up and hang in the towel. Count me in, Alabama!
I am sorry that you have so many problems. I have had my safelink phone for over 2 years and with NO problems. Have you gone to their online site for assistance ? www.safelink.com -As a disabled senior I never have to worry about being stranded or in need of help now that I have my phone. Good luck because it is a great program for those less fortunate and/ or in need.
who's running the show there?
There's something very seedy going on with Safelink...I signed up for the 125 min. a month plan three months ago...have for those three months received 68 min...not 125 ...yet when I call they claim I have...why...would I lie?
Calling Safelink is a designed nightmare...they know exactly what they are doing ...they have Russian (my experience) men and women available for tech support...their voices are always garbled...really, always ...there's unbearable background noise...other techs on phone with customers..too close...very loud...close to impossible to hear anything ...they want me to believe they haven't noticed these flaws...? really?
I think it's all by designed ...but why? and...Who's getting my minutes?
A previous call to tech support concerning a ill cell phone had me handed around like a hot baked potato only to go through the same process...from the top... over and over with Russians who think they are speaking English...until you want to scream.
Someone is getting paid to run this show...who? I'm going to report this to the government...and the BBB

never received phone
I applied for a safelink wireless phone back on October 12, 2010. I was told would receive the phone in 5 - 10 business days. I have called every tenth business day to find out were my phone is and get no where with the company. The barely speak english and keep promising me that my phone will be here in 5 - 10 business days. It is now December 10, 2010 almost two month later and am still being promised my phone is coming in 5 - 10 business days. I need a phone and they don't do anything about my problem!

My current Safe Link phone has too many problems. So I called to ask them to send me another one, and they said they would. I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for the new phone. A few days ago, the phone I do have won't let me make or receive calls and texts. All it says is "Unregistered Sim". And I can't seem to get a hold of an actual person on the toll free safe link phone numbers.
I never got my phone and I can't get no one to talk to about it.
so what did you end up doing i am having the same issue.

My phone was suppose to be shipped 1 month ago and i haven`t got it yet.
I wish I could find a gov. place to complain to about safelink, but the gov. does the same think, they do not care either.
Same with me, applied on oct. 2010, then on march 8th 2011 talked to a CSR who reapplied for me and approved me since I have no income and on food stamps. Now on April 1st ( big joke ) they say it will be 30 days via FED-X, now if I am not home they will not leave it. So at least for the next 3 weeks I have to stay home ( not that I working ) to get a phone witch may not show any way. The CSRs *****, they do understand or speak very good. Do NOT talk to a CSR, go right to a supervisor if you can, I am looking for another free phone.
I applied for my phone on October 1st, 2010, it's now March 3rd, 2011 and I still have no phone. I call once a month and they say they'll send a new one but still nothing.
scammers, beware!
Safelink you sorry #... This is the second time I have not gotten my minutes... I have tried all of your contacts methods and nothing! I have tried the "555" trick and it never ever works. And all I get when I call your toll free numbers is a dance partner... I enter the "pending minutes" menu and when I get to it... It asks me to enter a card number that I have purchased... Im not purchasing your * garbage... You said free minutes... I want my free minutes [censored]! Your phones suck and your service *! Reply with where to return my phone and you can have it back and cram it up your * > you suck!... You suck! You suck!
free minutes
I did'nt receive my free 60 minutes for the month of August. I spent two days trying to get ahold of the company and when I finally did, I spent about an hour and a half on the phone only to be told that according to their system I received the minutes on July 29. I kept telling them I did not receive them and got nowhere. I finally got so aggrivated that I said just forget it and hung up. They ripped me off. I probably shouldnt complain because they are free minutes, but they are needed.

I tried adding minutes to my phone to find out I have not received my benefits for July
I have called for ten days to try to get another plug for my phone. I am going to lose my minutes because no one is answering the phones only a machine. There should be a real person to talk to when you need something. please if someone from this company really care please call me. My phone number is listed in your records. Thanks, Harriett Armstrong of Nashville, Tn
why can't i call safelink when my phone is out of minutes?
IT HAPPENED TO ME FOR DEC. IT'S NOT THAT I GOT RIPPED OFF. BUT, THE IDEA OF THE TIME SPENT.
IT'S AGGRAVATING.
You can get your "lost" minutes by
1. Pressing the menu key
2. Choose "Prepaid" by pressing ok
3. "Add Airtime" is highlighted. Press OK.
4. Your screen should display "Airtime PIN."
5. Press 5 5 5 and then ok.
6. The message, "Have a promo code?" should be displayed on your screen. Press the key below the word, no.
Now you should have your lost minutes!
Same exact thing happened to me for the month of September! Three hours on the phone to be told they aren't authorized to do anything because their computer says I got my minutes when all I got was a "service unavailable try later" error. Did the problem fix itself for September or not? Trying to figure out if next month holds any hope...
hard to get my mins.
Every month I must call to get my alloted 68 mins. When I call the safelink number I recieve an automated message that due to high call volume they can not take my call--- this goes on days at a time all through the times when they are supposed to be open-- so I call the tracfone number, get a tech and she tells me that my july mins. were issued on june 28, 2010. which is not true-- they were not issued-- they ripped me off again! In fact it is my understanding that if monthly mins. are not issued to the person that they are intended that the mins. are put in a pool and split between the techs!
