I have been a customer at this Pharmacy for over 50 years. I was recently diagnosed with a spinal injury in the lumbar region. This is causing me severe pain in which I have tried everything I could think of to alleviate without meds. I was prescribed Hydrocodone which the pharmacist refused to fill due to a drug she said I was taking, I have not used the Rx she is talking about months prior because I did not like how it made me feel. I also asked my doctor to take it off my list of meds in which they did, she even called my doctors office and told them that I was taking this drug which I am not. I now am in my fourth day of extreme pain because of her refusing to listen to me. Not everyone is a drug addict but she based her opinion on what she reads not what the patient tells her. She does not even know me I am a 72 y/o retired Fire Chief who has never done drugs or wants to just want some temporary relief from pain.

Looks like the pharmacy missed the mark big time, treating you like a stranger after all these years. It’s frustrating when they rely on outdated info instead of listening to the person right in front of them. Could’ve been worse — at least they didn’t hand you the wrong meds! Here’s to hoping they straighten things out quickly.
Unfortunately this does not do me any good. I can't get in to the surgeon until Sept 3rd. Been eating ibuprofen by the handful which I am sure would give my cardiologist a heart attack. I don't see how they are going to straighten out. Pharmacists want to be treated more like doctors now, but I don't see how this would help in that cause. Healthcare is changing doctors are getting harder and harder to see even more so in short notice. I talked to her supervisor yesterday and she told me she would have just filled the Rx sumitted, but now it is out of her hands. I guess my only option is to go elsewhere.
