100k Mile service
100k Mile service. They never gave me the original quote - on the day of the service - after inspecting, they gave me a quote of $982, which I expected to be around $1000 for the amount of work needed at this mileage. But when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the price had suddenly jumped to $1,549... I advise you to steer clear. They deceive and fib. I will NEVER suggest or come back for service.
San Tan Ford is the worst dealer you could ever deal with
San Tan Ford is the worst dealer you could ever deal with. Cameron was extremely rude from the beginning when I met him. I promise I will never go back to this dealership as long as Cameron is the manager. The customer service is terrible and they don't know how to treat people with respect. I went there hoping to buy a Raptor and a Mustang on the same day. I will never make that mistake again and I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone!
I'm extremely disappointed with the service department at San Tan Ford
I'm extremely disappointed with the service department at San Tan Ford. They haven't been helpful at all in regards to my power train issue, even though it's still covered by warranty. My service advisor, let's call him ***, just informed me that the cost for a new engine will be $25k. I couldn't believe it and had to laugh. They initially quoted me $18k for the engine replacement, but now they want an additional $7k for disassembling the old motor. I strongly advise against using San Tan Ford. Instead, I recommend checking out *** or ***.
I decided to try out San Tan Ford for the first time since it's conveniently close to my house
I decided to try out San Tan Ford for the first time since it's conveniently close to my house. I went there to get my Mustang serviced and made the mistake of asking them to adjust my headlight, which seemed a bit off. After a few hours, I got my car back, but I didn't realize until a few days later that the left headlight wasn't working anymore. Once I noticed, I immediately took it back to San Tan Ford. However, they informed me that the ballast had gone bad and it would cost $900 to fix, claiming it was my responsibility. I don't understand how something that was working fine before they touched it suddenly went bad, and shouldn't it have been their responsibility? Regardless, I'm stuck with it and will probably have to spend that much. However, I won't be getting it fixed there. I'm extremely disappointed. Update: I ended up going to Quick Lane for this issue, and they were able to fix it for $300, including taxes. I'm not sure why San Tan Ford was trying to charge $900.
This car place does some sneaky tricks
This car place does some sneaky tricks. They put out an ad with a price for a vehicle, but when they handed me the papers, they tacked on an extra $2,000 to the price. That's against the law in Arizona, where they say it's fraud if a seller or advertiser tricks you with lies, false promises, or hiding important info. They're definitely being deceptive. They lure you in with a cheap price, then jack it up when you're about to make a purchase. Really sketchy dealership. Watch out!
I was led astray by a nice young man who said they'd give me 3,000 extra for both my v vehicles
I was led astray by a nice young man who said they'd give me 3,000 extra for both my v vehicles. They called it trade in assist? It was funny when I came back the next day. He wasn't there and the young lady who helped me seemed kind too. Sadly, they didn't honor what they said. They only offered it for one car and then gave me way less than the book value for both cars, making it even worse. The cars were in good condition and I had better offers elsewhere. But I really wanted the F 150, so I went there. They said there were rebates too. But when she showed me the price, it was actually more than the original cost. I wasted two days there... what a waste of time. They weren't honest and wanted to give me way less for my trade-ins than even the blue book value. I was going to pay cash for an expensive vehicle. I could give more details, but the bottom line is it was shady and I wasted two days being told one thing and then offered something different. They should all get on the same page. I would have been a good customer. I loved the truck and honestly, I've never written one of these, but I felt really manhandled... bait and switch or whatever these guys do? Huge bummer!
I wish I could give them zero stars
I wish I could give them zero stars. They don't even deserve the one star I had to pick! I bought my car from here and got a warranty with it. I had some issues with the car and took it in for a check-up. It was covered by the warranty and they paid for the extra days of the rental car. I expected that because it wasn't my fault they were behind on their work. When I picked up my car, I noticed some scuff marks and scratches on it. Also, while driving, the rear bumper on the passenger side came loose and was flapping in the wind. When I brought my car back to them to look at the damage, they buffed out the scuffs but blamed me for the bumper. The guy said, "Looks like you hit something." So I told him politely that I didn't hit anything. The car was used and there was already a small dent on the back when I bought it from them. Then he said, "Well, you can't take your car through a regular car wash with brushes because it weakens the clips." I told him that my car only goes to *** Car Wash, which is touchless, or I wash it at home. The scuff marks on my car looked just like the ones on the rental car they gave me. This makes me think that they sent my car through THEIR car wash, which uses brushes. Needless to say, my bumper is still not fixed and I have to make an insurance claim for the damage they caused. This dealership used to have good customer service. I won't recommend them to anyone and I'll make sure people know what happened to my car while it was in their care. I'm never going back to them.
Beware of this Dealership!
Beware of this Dealership! They tricked me into buying a vehicle that they knew I couldn't afford. My grandmother had just died and all of my cousins were placed into foster care. I became their foster parent. In a moment of mental instability, I went there to try and get a larger vehicle for the 5 children and they ended up having me get a $40,000 SUV. I didn't know I was paying that much, I trusted them and just signed the papers that were put in front of me. I try my best but as a single female foster mother, it's hard and I didn't really get what was going on, I trusted them.. I'm not a high school graduate.. I don't even have my GED but I thought they were being honest with me. I only make $24,000 a year. my payments are $500+ per month and insurance of $250/mo. I only make $2000/month. I cannot afford my rent. I traded in my car that was paid off and gave them my entire savings from my taxes of $8000 cash. I tried to take the car back 4 days later and they refused me. They lied and said the loan had already been accepted by *** and that I would have to call the owner and finance manager. I tried doing both of these and they didn't answer or call me back. When I called *** first they said that my loan had not been accepted and that I wasn't even on file, then they said I had 7 days from the day I bought the vehicle to return the car and unwind the loan which would result in me getting my money back and that all I needed to do was go back to the dealership and tell them that I wanted to Unwind the loan and that I would be released from the loan and I would give the car back and get my old car back and my money. This dealership is a fraudulent place of business that preys upon whoever they can't. If they are willing to take advantage of me, a single foster mother of 5 children who only makes $24,000/year they will do the same to anyone and everyone else. I have no savings, no way to pay for my rent, and no way to pay my bills. I can't afford this vehicle in which I will end up losing it and being homeless with 5 children who already went through being homeless as foster children. The owner and managers of this place do not care. They only care about taking money from whoever they can. STAY AWAY. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THIS PLACE.

San Tan Ford sold me a brand new 2022 vehicle, but the engine light turned on just one hour after driving off the lot
San Tan Ford sold me a brand new 2022 vehicle, but the engine light turned on just one hour after driving off the lot. It's been over 30 days now, and they still can't fix it. It feels like they sold me a faulty car. I requested to undo the deal, but they refused and even laughed at me, saying it's now my $60k vehicle. This is really bad business behavior. All I wanted was to get a replacement vehicle, just like the one I had for only an hour before it broke down. I only drove 22 miles before it broke.
I recently visited San Tan Ford to trade in my old F-150
I recently visited San Tan Ford to trade in my old F-150. Unfortunately, the folks in finance, like *** and ***, significantly reduced the value of my trade-in and added a bunch of miscellaneous charges. These charges need to be paid upfront before I can even start paying off the new vehicle. I attempted to retrieve my truck, but I was denied twice. In light of this terrible deal, I tried to finance a different truck but was also denied. Instead of paying off my car, I'm stuck paying for these additional expenses. If I have to pay this much, I'd rather be paying for a vehicle. Can someone please assist me?
I took my new Maverick truck to San Tan Ford to get a lift kit installed
I took my new Maverick truck to San Tan Ford to get a lift kit installed. Everything seemed fine when I dropped off the truck, but when the dealership called to say it was ready, they mentioned a big cut in the back passenger tire. I think San Tan Ford caused this damage while messing with the tires during the lift kit installation. The dealer's guy told me the tire had a warranty, but they still wanted me to cough up $65.00 to replace it. I already paid for the lift kit, so I just want my truck back without having to pay for a tire they messed up.

I took my Ford F-150 to San Tan Ford to get the brakes replaced on the front and rear, and also to have new Rotors put on the rear
I took my Ford F-150 to San Tan Ford to get the brakes replaced on the front and rear, and also to have new Rotors put on the rear. I paid a total of $692.32 for the service, which included a wheel alignment. However, the very next day after picking up my truck, the brakes started squeaking. I decided to wait a few days to see if the noise would go away, but it didn't. So, I had to take my truck back to the same dealership. The technician claimed to have driven it around and not heard any noise. However, they did have to re-align the wheels again.
A few days later, the brakes started squeaking once more. Frustrated, I took my truck back to the dealership for the third time and requested a different technician. Once again, they claimed that nothing was wrong. It was only on the fourth visit, when I insisted on speaking to a manager, that things started to improve. I rode with the technician in the truck, and magically, they finally heard the noise that I had been complaining about all along. They admitted that the new rear brakes they had installed were defective and needed to be replaced under warranty. Additionally, the new rotors on the rear now needed to be re-surfaced.
Dealing with this issue was a major hassle. I had to rent a car twice, driving over 30 miles each way, just to deal with this mess. And now, despite all the trouble, my brakes are still squeaking. I have decided that I will not be returning to this dealership for a fifth time. Instead, I will be requesting a full refund and taking my truck elsewhere for service. This whole experience has been absolutely terrible and a huge inconvenience.
On Thursday, September 29, 2022, I brought my truck to the mechanic because it was making a weird noise from the engine area and I needed an oil
On Thursday, September 29, 2022, I brought my truck to the mechanic because it was making a weird noise from the engine area and I needed an oil change. The person helping me thought it might be the groove or idle pulley, but they needed to check it to be sure. On Tuesday, October 4, I got a text with a link to a Multi-Point Inspection report. They found some other things that my vehicle might need. There were about ten things on the list, and it added up to $5,250.02. So, I clicked on the Oil Change for $76.29, the Air Filter for $35.99, and the Power Steering Flush for $114.95. I didn't choose anything else, including the I/s pulley replacement because there were two things on the report about it. I wanted to know which one was right, the $282.23 or the $204.60, so I sent a text on Wednesday, October 5. But I never got a reply. On October 10, I called the person helping me and said I wanted to get my truck back. I didn't hear anything, so I called again at 4:00 PM. They said the service technician had my truck in the service bay and it's running poorly. They said the technician used a flashlight to show that valve 4 was moving/shaking. Now they want another $155 to figure out this new problem. Honestly, all I want is my truck back the way it was when I brought it in. It was running fine. It wasn't overheating or leaking anything. It just had that whining sound, which they said was the I/s pulleys.
