Shari's Berries / Berries.com Gift was never deliverd

I wanted to say I'm beyond upset right now. I placed an order 4 days ago.

Your company assured me that the gifts would be delivered August 15th for my sisters Birthday.

No delivery was made. Nobody contacted me and I even contacted customer service earlier today to make sure she would get it and again they assured me it would arrive by 8pm. I called your number and they told me they apologized but they were out of the gift items and could deliver tomorrow the 16th? I needed it for the 15th NOT THE 16TH!

This is the worst business I have ever dealt with and will NEVER order again from your company or anything from Flowers.com.

Your service is unacceptable and unforgivable.

I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with Shari's Berries. My mother-in-law purchased a Groupon for their chocolate covered strawberries and was eager to place an order. I helped her add a dozen strawberries to her cart for $34.98 and applied the Groupon code for $30 off. However, when we got to the checkout page, we were hit with a whopping $14.99 shipping fee. I was taken aback by the high cost and decided to step away from the order. When I returned less than 24 hours later, without making any changes, the shipping cost had increased to $16.99. I was baffled by this sudden increase and reached out to customer service for an explanation.

The customer service representative, Kathryn, was polite but ultimately unhelpful. She suggested that I may have left the order in my cart and needed to re-enter the site through the Groupon link. However, I had already done this and nothing had changed. When I asked why the shipping cost had increased, Kathryn simply stated that she did not know and that the computer automatically computes the fees. She also mentioned that the average delivery fee is $16.99, which did not make me feel any better about the situation.

Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of transparency and assistance from Shari's Berries customer service. The shipping fee felt like a highway robbery and the sudden increase without any explanation was frustrating. I would caution others to be aware of the high shipping costs before placing an order with this company.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Disappointing Experience with Shari's Berries: Wrong Order, No Delivery, Rude Customer Service, and False Promises

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Shari's Berries. I mean, if I could give them zero stars, I totally would. But I guess I gotta give them at least one, right? So here's my story: I ordered some berries just because, you know, I wanted to treat myself. But when my order arrived, it was totally wrong! So they said they'd send a replacement order, which was scheduled to arrive four days later. But then, two days before the delivery date, I got a message saying my order had already been delivered. Which it hadn't! So I called customer service, and the lady I spoke to said not to worry, I'd still get my delivery. But when the delivery date came and went, still no berries. I called again, and they told me to wait until 8pm to see if they'd still arrive. When they didn't, I called back again, and the person I spoke to said they'd issue me a partial refund and put in a replacement order. But when I got the email confirmation, it still didn't seem right. So I did a survey and gave my honest opinion, which wasn't great. The next day, I got a call from 1800FLOWERS, and they said they'd take care of it. But when I got another text message saying my order had been delivered, I still didn't have any berries! So I called customer service again, and they told me to wait until 8pm again. When they still didn't arrive, I called back again, and this time the person I spoke to was super rude. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but he wouldn't transfer me. He kept saying he was reaching out to FedEx to see if they could redeliver, but I knew that wasn't true because my order was supposed to be delivered by a local shop, not FedEx. When I said I wanted a refund, he said he was putting in a replacement order for me to deliver tomorrow. But when I asked for an email confirmation, he said he hadn't heard back from FedEx yet. This went on for a whole 45 minutes, until he finally said he was transferring me and then hung up on me! I mean, seriously? I'm never ordering anything from Shari's Berries or 1800FLOWERS again.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Disappointed with Shari's Berries: A Review of Quality and Taste

I've been a fan of Shari's Berries for more than a decade now. I've had the pleasure of enjoying their delicious strawberries countless times, and I've always been impressed with the quality of their products. The combination of juicy, sweet berries and creamy white chocolate is simply irresistible.

Recently, I decided to order some Shari's Berries for my birthday. My husband surprised me with a dozen of their famous "white chocolate berries," along with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Flowers.com (which was also processed through Shari's Berries). I was thrilled to receive such a thoughtful gift, and I couldn't wait to dig in.

However, when I opened the box, I was a bit disappointed. The presentation of the berries wasn't quite what I was used to. They looked more like the white chocolate dipped strawberries I get from the food trucks in my neighborhood, rather than the perfectly coated berries I've come to expect from Shari's Berries. The backsides of the strawberries weren't fully covered in chocolate, which made them look a bit sloppy.

But the real disappointment came when I tasted the berries. They weren't as sweet as I remembered, and the chocolate didn't have the same rich, creamy flavor that I had come to love. I was surprised, as I had always associated Shari's Berries with high quality and delicious taste.

When I called customer service to inquire about the changes, I learned that Shari's Berries now outsources their production to local suppliers for freshness. While I appreciate the desire for freshness, I can't help but feel that the quality has suffered as a result. The berries I received were clearly not up to the same standard as the ones I had enjoyed in the past.

Overall, I was disappointed with my recent experience with Shari's Berries. While I still ate the berries (because, let's be honest, who can resist chocolate-covered strawberries?), I didn't enjoy them as much as I had in the past. And now that I know that the production process has changed, I'll be looking for a new company to order from in the future. It's a shame, because I had always been a loyal customer of Shari's Berries. But if the quality and taste are no longer up to par, then it's time to move on.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Shari's Berries: A Disappointing Mother's Day Experience

I recently ordered a package from Shari's Berries to be delivered to my mother on Mother's Day. I paid an additional delivery fee to ensure that the package would arrive on time. However, I received an email from the company stating that the delivery date had been changed to Tuesday, May 16th. I was very concerned and called the company to express my frustration. A service representative promised me that the package would be delivered overnight and received on May 14th. I trusted her and felt reassured that my mother would receive her gift on time.

Unfortunately, my mother did not receive her gift on Mother's Day as promised. The package arrived on May 15th, and the flowers were wilted and the chocolate covered strawberries and cheesecake were unrecognizable. I was extremely disappointed and felt cheated and lied to by Shari's Berries. I received several scripted emails from different customer sales representatives offering to resend the order or provide a credit coupon for the same value to redeem at another time. However, each time I chose the credit coupon, I received an email stating that the coupons were no longer available.

Finally, I asked that they resend the package, but I received another email stating that the package I ordered was no longer available. This was an extremely unacceptable business practice, and I was left with nothing. This experience has destroyed any enjoyable surprise I had expected to give my mother on her special day. I am completely embarrassed and ashamed by this situation that Shari's Berries put me and my mother in.

I have been cheated, deceived, manipulated, lied to, insulted, embarrassed, and ashamed. This type of business practice lacks integrity, honesty, trust, and dependability. The service that I have received from Shari's Berries is unacceptable and is a disgrace to the service industry. I have never been treated like this before, and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Shari's Berries Review: Shady Discount and Shipping Practices

So, I was browsing on my trusty iPhone and stumbled upon Shari's Berries. I decided to order the "All the Frills" package which included flowers and strawberries to be delivered on separate days. The website offered a 20% discount on orders over $29, which was a pretty sweet deal. The total came out to $35.99 plus $7.99 for the vase. Shipping was a standard $16.99 for both items, which seemed reasonable to me.

I went through the entire order summary, but before hitting submit, I decided to switch to my computer to place the order. However, when I tried to order the exact same items with the exact same discount, the total discount and shipping cost were different. I was pretty upset about this and felt like I was being scammed. I even found a review that had the same issue, but I ignored it.

I contacted customer support and spoke with Keith L. He apologized for any confusion and suggested that I may have been looking at similar but slightly different products or may have found a sale avenue through one avenue. I knew for a fact that this was not the case and that it was indeed a scam. I was disappointed and decided not to place the order.

I will say that Keith L was helpful and suggested that I contact their 24-hour customer service center to place orders. However, I was too frustrated and decided to leave a review instead. It's a shame that Shari's Berries would engage in such shady practices. I will definitely be warning others about this experience.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Shari's Berries Review: Terrible Experience with Sneaky Fees and Rude Customer Service

I ain't gonna lie, my experience with Shari's Berries was straight up terrible. I was trying to do something nice for my momma on Mother's Day and ordered a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for about $39. But then, after I hit the button to confirm payment, the total changed to about $78! They didn't even tell me about the delivery fee and Sunday delivery fee until AFTER I paid! I was so mad, I called to cancel right away. The person on the phone said I would get an email confirming the cancellation, but I never got it. I also asked to talk to a supervisor about the sneaky fees on their website. The rep said a supervisor would call me back in 4-48 hours. I told him I didn't want a call at 1 am, but he laughed at me like it was a joke. Rude!

I waited two days and still didn't get a cancellation email or a call from a supervisor. So I called again. The first call didn't even connect! The second rep couldn't even get my name right. He kept calling me "kaki" and "Tati" instead of Staci. I corrected him and tried to spell it out, but he kept interrupting me. I hung up on him. The third rep asked for all my info again, but I didn't have the recipient's street number because I was at work. I gave her everything else, but she kept asking for the street number even though I told her I didn't have it. I asked to speak to a supervisor FOUR TIMES and she kept refusing. I even threatened to report them to the BBB! Finally, she said my order was cancelled, but she couldn't give me a confirmation number. She said the supervisor would call me back within 24 hours, but there was no confirmation of that either.

Now I'm stuck with a charge on my account and no idea what to do. I never got a cancellation email or a call from a supervisor. This whole thing is a mess. I wouldn't recommend Shari's Berries to anyone.

I recently ordered a special Valentine's gift from Shari's Berries on January 27, 2017. I was excited to surprise my husband with a sweet treat on the special day. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I received an email from the company on February 7, 2017, requesting me to update my credit card information to process the order. I called them on the same day to give them my new credit card information, which I repeated twice to ensure that the order would be confirmed.

On February 11, 2017, I called them again to inquire why my credit card had not been charged yet. They informed me that there was an issue with the credit card, and I had to give them the numbers for the second time to charge the account and place the order. They assured me that the order would be delivered on the scheduled date. However, today is February 13, 2017, and the order should have been delivered either today or tomorrow, but still, there was no charge on my credit card.

I called them again this morning, and a representative told me that the credit card was not going through. I was furious by this time because the order was supposed to be delivered today or tomorrow, and my credit card had not been charged yet. The representative assured me that the order would still be delivered today, February 14, 2017, and they would not run the credit card. I reminded him that today was February 13, 2017, and not February 14, 2017. I demanded to speak with a supervisor, but he informed me that there were no supervisors available at that time. I was so angry that I hung up the phone.

Later, I received a call from a US representative from Shari's Berries, and I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I had received from the company. I had to call them more than once to give them my credit card information, and they had not charged my credit card yet. The representative verified the credit card number on file and informed me that it was not the card that I had given them the second or third time around. That was why my credit card had not been charged. I told her that when I spoke with someone on February 7 and February 11, they had verified the new credit card with me and said the order was good. I informed her that I wanted to cancel the order because of the lack of intelligence of the representatives. I also demanded to speak with her supervisor before canceling the order completely.

She transferred me to Richard, her supervisor, and I explained the situation to him. He informed me that the card on file was not the card that I had given them on the two dates that I called in. He also discovered that there were two cloned accounts with the new credit card information, but they were never confirmed. He acknowledged that this was not company policy and promised to send it to their immediate supervisor and upper management. He also informed me that the upper management would decide what to do with the order. However, the person I spoke with in the morning had already canceled my order without my full permission.

By this time, I was extremely disappointed and disgusted with the company. No one could do their job correctly, and it was a day before Valentine's Day, and I had no gift for my husband. I decided that the next time I placed an order with a company, I would go with a company that is US-grown and has all employees in the USA. I am an extremely unhappy customer.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Shari's Berries Review: Bad Berries and Chocolate, Numerous Complaints, Needs Improvement

So, my sister ordered some chocolate covered strawberries from Shari's Berries for our mom on Mother's Day. When she brought them out, they had a strange smell, almost like alcohol infused berries. My mom sliced one up for us to try, and the berry inside looked old and overripe, with a slight grayish tint. It was like it had fermented. The chocolate covering was also nasty, with a terrible texture. Three out of the four of us had to spit it out because it was so bad. I'm just hoping my mom doesn't get sick from eating the rest of them. I think Shari's Berries needs to do some research and find out what happened, because it seems like someone along the way decided to use a batch of bad berries. This is not a good way to do business, and it will ruin their reputation quickly.

I did some research on Shari's Berries, and I found numerous complaints all over the web. People have complained about bad alcohol-smelling berries, fake sweaty chocolate coverings, overcharging for shipping, and not even receiving the full delivery of berries. It seems like this is not an isolated incident, and the company needs to take action to fix the problem.

I would never have ordered from Shari's Berries to begin with, especially after seeing all of the complaints. My sister must not have researched the company very well before placing her order. I hope she learns from this experience and doesn't order from them again.

Overall, I think Shari's Berries needs to take responsibility for their mistakes and make it right with their customers. Instead of spending time and money trying to rectify individual complaints, they should focus on fixing the problem from within. If they don't, their business will continue to go downhill.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Shari's Berries

I recently placed an order with Shari's Berries for two dozen chocolate dipped berries. I ordered one dozen for my wife and my kids saw what I was doing, so they begged me to order another dozen for them to split. I couldn't resist their excitement, so I ordered two dozen in total. My young girls were thrilled to try them out, as they had seen your commercials for years. It was a surprise for my wife, and I couldn't wait to see her reaction.

After thinking about it, I decided to order a third box of a dozen for my oldest daughter. I placed this order a day later. I spent a good amount of money with your organization, and I was eagerly awaiting the delivery.

On the day of delivery, I was sitting upstairs in my living room watching TV, waiting for the delivery. I wanted to personally hand them to my wife and kids. However, when the delivery arrived, I noticed that it was on the same truck as the normal driver and the normal truck (without air conditioning or freezer). The driver dropped them at my front door entry, and I opened my door from running down stairs while he was still walking to his truck. As soon as I realized the berries were on a non-refrigerated truck, I knew they were in trouble. It's over 100 degrees here in AZ, and it's not even the hottest. I took the smaller box out of the bigger box, and it was hot to the touch. The corner that I picked up was actually soaked through the box. I took a video of it from the start so no one could say it was my fault. I opened the box and knew it was bad. It was so hot that all the chocolate was melted completely. Then I looked in the box, and the second dozen was missing.

I immediately called your customer service and talked to a gentleman that I could barely understand. When he said three, I am pretty sure he actually said tree. His accent was really strong. I asked if I could talk to someone else nicely that did not have his accent, and he said no, everyone in there talked the same. So, I struggled through the conversation, having him repeat himself over and over. I hope you can hear the recording. Let me first say, I have owned three different businesses over thirty years. I completely understand that things happen. After explaining my situation to this CS agent, he asked me what I wanted to do. I told him that I am the customer with an unfortunate situation because your company shipped fragile berries in a non-refrigerated truck. He said they were shipped in a freezer truck. I did not care to argue until he said, "I will just refund you your money." The tone he took was, "Get off my line and just let me refund your money." I asked him numerous times to talk to a manager, and he said I could not. They were too busy to talk to me. I was done talking to him. Don't get me wrong, I am always polite. I asked him again to talk to a supervisor, and he put me on hold for about a minute, came back, and said they were too busy to take my call. He said he would have to have a supervisor call me back in 24 to 48 hours. I told him I wanted to talk, and I would hold. I would hold for an hour, two, whatever it would take to talk to anyone but him. His next response put me over the edge by telling me, "It's the company policy that we cannot leave a customer on the phone for more than 3 minutes." He then proceeded to just tell me, "I am going to refund the order." I told him he was not going to refund my order until I talk to a supervisor. He took my information, and after I gave him my call back number, I informed him that I was going to deal with this on social media. That is why I posted what you read.

I actually faintly remember that this happened to me a few years back. I ordered Shari's Berries, and they came melted, and I am pretty sure you refunded the last order, but I never verified if you did or did not.

That is my story. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I am extremely disappointed with your products for a second time.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Shari's Berries Review: Misleading Delivery Charges and Poor Customer Service

I just had the same experience as someone who wrote a review on 1/19/17 about delivery charges. My daughter's birthday is tomorrow and I went online to order her a gift. I have done last-minute orders or same-day delivery before with no issues. I know it can be expensive, so I searched for the best deal and ended up purchasing a Groupon ahead of time, which allowed me to get $40.00 worth of merchandise for $20.00, which is 50% off. The items I was looking at prior on Shari's Berries were just under $43.00, so I thought this was a good deal. I also had a 10% off discount code, but Shari's Berries identified the Groupon as a regular discount code, and I could only use one of them. Obviously, I used the higher one. So, I had a $40.00 Groupon credit, and the items were $42.97, leaving me with just under $3.00 owed plus delivery.

This is where the problem comes in. It gave me the option of delivery for tomorrow on my daughter's birthday, but it did NOT disclose that this was considered "rush." It stated "standard delivery" with no amount disclosed for it other than to ask if I wanted to pay an ADDITIONAL amount for delivery before noon, which I declined. Reading the initial information, it appeared the delivery charge would be around $15.00, so I expected a total of about $18.00 with the remaining balance. But I was wrong! It wasn't until the very last screen, after it asked for all of my credit card information and asked for confirmation of the information (and therefore confirming the order), that it gave me the final screen that then told me how much I was being charged! It turned out to be $16.99 for that "standard delivery," another $4.99 for "rush delivery," plus $5.36 in tax on top of the remaining balance, and a final charge of $30.31 was added to my credit card!

Now keep in mind that I had already spent money on a Groupon, and the total for a dozen strawberries and 4 little truffles was going to cost a total of $70.31! That is ridiculous! They should be rolled in gold leaf for that amount, not chocolate! I tried to edit my order as I only had so much to spend on my credit card without going over for this, and I was going to see if I could get something a little less expensive. It did give me the option to "modify" or "cancel" my order, but the only thing it allowed me to modify was the personal information, NOT the order. So the only option I had was to cancel it and start over!

The bigger problem came when I called customer service to complain about the non-disclosure of the delivery charges until too late and got lots of apologies but no satisfaction. They had already charged my credit card, which meant the money I had allocated for this purchase was already "on hold" and non-usable. They said it would be 5-7 days before it would be returned. What?! When I complained more, she said she could send an email to another department to release the hold sooner, but it would still be 48 hours at least. So I said to her, "since you already have my money, could you just re-process the order 'as is,' and I'll just have to pay your very expensive delivery charges and probably go over my limit on my credit card just so that my daughter can have a gift from me tomorrow?" But she said she couldn't do that either!

So, Shari's Berries not only charges you crazy delivery fees without prior full disclosure, but they will also give you the option to cancel your order if there is an issue, but they will charge your credit card first and then make you wait to get your money back. Thumbs down to you, Shari's Berries! This has "scam" written all over it!

P.S. Since I needed to speak to my daughter regarding her birthday delivery not coming and to tell her what happened, she just confirmed that I was indeed upset a couple of years ago for the same misleading practices with Shari's Berries and reminded me that her berries at that time were soggy and not very fresh also. I guess this time we dodged a soggy chocolate-covered strawberry bullet, but unfortunately, at the expense of my daughter not receiving anything for her birthday and me being out of the money to go to a respectable, accommodating company!

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Shari’s Berries

On December 24 I had placed an order of 24ct roses and 12 ct chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered on January 4th as a birthday gift. On January 4th I track the package and status said there was a delay. I called the customer service and they were barely of any help. I called FedEx because they were in charge of delivery to see if my order could be sent out but they were not helpful either. My order was delivered January 5th the next day. I called customer service again and demanded a full refund but because the package was delivered they only gave me a partial refund plus shipping fee return. My package was not delivered the day it was supposed to and I should have received a full refund. Very disappointed in this company.

I ordered berries for my wife on July 11, 2023, to be delivered by July 18, 2023

The third-party company that was to deliver the order came to our address. we were home, he didn't knock or ring the bell, he left a card that said he was there and no one was home..LIE #1

I immediately called Sherries Berries and spoke with a person (who didn't speak English) and explained it all, they assured me it would be delivered by noon. LIE #2 At 1:30 I called back and said it was not delivered and now my wife is going to work, they said we will deliver it to her at work. LIE #3 At 3 pm I called to say it IS NOT DELIVERED. They said it will be by 5 pm. LIE #4 At 6 pm I called and said NOT DELIVERED. They said we deliver up to 8 pm. LIE #5 At 8 pm I called and said NOT DELIVERED. They said we will deliver it tomorrow. I said no you won't we will not be home and will not return for 2 days. It was a birthday gift for my wife. I want a refund. They said no.

So, I gotta tell ya, I've been hearing about Sheri's Berries for years now. Every time Valentine's Day rolls around, they're all over the radio, talking about how amazing their berries are. And I gotta admit, I was intrigued. So this year, I finally decided to give them a try and ordered some for my wife.

Let me tell you, it was not a smooth experience. First of all, I specifically requested that the berries arrive the day before Valentine's Day. But what do I get? They show up three days early! Now I've got this perishable gift that's just gonna go bad before I can even give it to my wife. So I had to break down and give her some roses on the actual day, in addition to the $30+ I spent on the berries that arrived at the wrong time.

But that's not even the worst part. When my wife opened the box, we were both pretty disappointed. I mean, the packaging was clever, I'll give them that. But the berries themselves? They looked like any old strawberries you'd get at the grocery store. And I was expecting something special, you know? Like the top 1% of strawberries, like they always say in their ads. But nope, just regular old strawberries dipped in chocolate. And the worst part? They didn't even taste good. My wife said they had a weird metallic taste to them, like they were rotten or something. And I tried one too, and I gotta say, I agreed with her. We ended up throwing the rest of them away.

Honestly, I feel like I got totally ripped off. I wish I had looked up some reviews before I ordered them. I could have saved myself 40 bucks and taken my wife out to a nice dinner instead. If I could get a refund, I would in a heartbeat.

UPDATE: So I did end up contacting Sheri's Berries to complain about the quality of their product. And I gotta say, they were pretty quick to respond. Shari's Berries / Berries.com Shari's Berries Review: Delivery Address Mix-Up and Poor Customer Service

So, my co-worker told me about Shari's Berries and I thought I'd give it a try. I wanted to send something different than flowers or other food-related arrangements. The online order process was smooth and I received confirmation of my order, recipient, and delivery address almost immediately. Three days later, I received an email saying my order was shipped and they provided a tracking number and everything. Two days later, I decided to check the delivery status expecting to see that my order was out for delivery. I couldn't be more wrong. According to UPS, my delivery address was wrong, and they had to change the delivery address. My wife has worked at this address for 15 years, and I've had numerous things delivered there. On top of that, my order won't be delivered for another day.

I called Shari's Berries and spoke to their outsourced representative who couldn't understand my needs because I couldn't understand him. Eventually, he apologized that my delivery would be a day late and refunded my guaranteed delivery fee. He couldn't tell me where my order would be delivered to because he confirmed the address and everything to me.

Granted, this next part might be UPS's fault, but after a 10-minute call to them, they refused to tell me where my order was being delivered. They confirmed that they changed the street name and building number, but my order was being delivered to the right city. CHANGED THE ENTIRE STREET NUMBER AND NAME, but refused to tell me where my package was headed. They said Shari's Berries authorized the address change and I would have to speak with them again.

I called my new friend overseas again. 25 minutes on the phone this time. First, they told me my order had delivered already, and I asked them to double-check. Oops, it won't be delivered until the next day. So sorry, sir. "Can you tell me where it will be delivered?" They provided the correct address, but when I said UPS changed the delivery address and said they spoke with someone at their company, they said I was the one who called and changed the delivery.

Long story short, I got a full refund. My order still won't be delivered until tomorrow, but UPS nor Shari's Berries know where it's going to be delivered. UPS points the finger at Shari, and Shari points the finger at me. So whoever receives my order, I hope you enjoy them, but reading other reviews from today, I don't think you will.

I've been ordering from Shari's Berries for a while now, but my latest experience with them was a complete disaster. I ordered a package for my mother's birthday on 1/16/23, with a delivery date of 1/26/23. However, as of 1/25, I still hadn't received a shipping notice, so I checked their website and saw that my order had been confirmed but not yet shipped. I contacted their customer service via online chat, and the representative told me that my order was already in transit, even though their website didn't show it. She even gave me a tracking number, but when I checked it on FedEx's website, I saw that the package hadn't been received from the shipper yet. So, the representative lied to me.

I contacted them again, and this time, a different representative told me that my order couldn't be cancelled because it had already been processed. However, their confirmation clearly stated that orders could be cancelled as long as they hadn't been shipped or delivered yet. I argued with the representative for a while, but it was a waste of time. Two hours after my chat, I received an email saying that my order had shipped, which made it obvious that they only shipped it after my complaint.

On 1/26, the scheduled delivery date, I received another email saying that there were shipping delays, which I considered another lie. The real issue was that they didn't ship my order in time to make the scheduled delivery date. My mother finally received the berries on 1/28, which was two days after her birthday and the scheduled delivery date.

I was extremely disappointed with Shari's Berries' customer service and their lack of commitment to their customers. Their confirmation is like a contract, and they clearly stated a scheduled delivery date of 1/26. However, they didn't care about honoring their commitment to me. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, and I encourage anyone considering ordering from them to read all the negative reviews before making a decision.

So, I heard an ad on the radio for Shari's Berries and decided to give them a try for Mother's Day. I had never used them before, but the promotion sounded great. I went online and found the ordering process to be pretty easy, but when it came to shipping options, I was surprised to see that the "standard shipping" option had no price listed. When I checked out, I was shocked to see that it was $16.99, which seemed pretty high for what I thought was a local business.

I also chose to include a complimentary E-Card, but when I filled it out and hit send, I didn't receive any confirmation. I tried again with a test email to myself and got a confirmation, but when I tried to send it to the actual recipient, I was no longer allowed. I spent a lot of time trying to email someone to cancel it and redo it, but didn't get any help.

To make matters worse, when I called the 1-800 help line, I was connected to a call center in Asia and had a hard time understanding the person on the other end. I called twice, once about the shipping issue and once about the E-Card issue, but didn't get any satisfactory answers or help.

Finally, I found out that there is no local storefront and the berries are actually shipped from San Diego, which is pretty far from where I live in Canada. I'm worried that they won't look very good when they arrive.

Overall, I would not recommend Shari's Berries. I think it's better to use a local business like Edible Arrangements where you can actually talk to someone who understands you.

I spent like 3 hours trying to order from Shari's Berries, and it was a total nightmare. I'm in IT for the military, so I know a thing or two about computers, and let me tell you, their online ordering system is a hot mess. I tried to input the addresses for the gifts I was sending out, but the system kept rejecting them and suggesting different formats. I tried to select the corrected address, but it just kept looping back to the same screen. I even tried to stay with my original input, but no dice. I had to contact customer service multiple times, and they were no help. They suggested I restart my computer, but that didn't fix anything. I had to input all 5 addresses 8 TIMES because of their stupid system. And when I called customer service, the first lady I spoke with had such a thick accent that I couldn't understand her, and she couldn't understand me. The next lady was better, but we got disconnected after 30 minutes of me spelling out every little detail of the addresses. And when I called back and asked for a manager, they wouldn't even take my number so they could call me back if we got disconnected again. It was like talking to a brick wall. I finally gave up and took my business elsewhere. Don't waste your time with Shari's Berries. They clearly outsource their customer service to people who can barely speak English, and their online ordering system is a joke.

So, I live in Florida and I have access to some pretty big strawberries. But, I kept hearing about Shari's Berries on talk shows and how they were supposed to be HUGE. One guest even said they were the size of a cake! I had to see what all the fuss was about, so I asked my husband to order me some for my birthday. I mean, they were charging $19.99 for six strawberries plus $15 for shipping. That's a lot of money for some fruit!

When the strawberries arrived, I was disappointed. They were not "huge" like the talk show hosts had said. In fact, two of them were not even considered large. They were dipped in chocolate, which was nice, but I could have done without it. So, I paid $35 for six regular-sized strawberries. That's a lot of money for something that I could have bought at the store for a fraction of the cost.

I was surprised to see that Shari's Berries has a low rating. I thought people were upset about the size like I was, but it turns out they have other issues with customer service, shipping time, and sogginess. Maybe people who don't live in Florida, North Carolina, or California don't know what big strawberries look like. But, I can tell you that these strawberries are not worth the money.

If you want to save some money and have a better experience, go to the store and buy a pint of strawberries and some chocolate. Make your own fondue and you'll get way more for your money. Shari's Berries should be ashamed of themselves for lying about the size and charging so much money. They should be thrown in jail for false advertising and robbery.

So, I was trying to order some berries from Shari's Berries (berries.com) and I made a mistake with the street address. I typed in 529 instead of 522. It was my bad, but I noticed it right away, like within 2 minutes of placing my order. I sent an email to customer service asking if they could just change the street number. But they said no, they couldn't cancel my order. I wrote back and said I didn't want to cancel, just change the address. They wrote back saying my order was already out for delivery and they couldn't make any changes. This was less than an hour after I placed my order!

So, I decided to call customer service. The guy on the phone was nice, but it was hard to understand him because of his accent. We finally figured out the order number and he changed the address. I thought everything was good to go.

But then, less than 2 minutes later, I got a call from another customer service person. He was reading from a script and it was hard to understand him too. He said the fulfillment center couldn't fulfill my order because of the address change. I was like, "What? It's just across the street!" He offered me a discount on a different product, but I declined and asked to cancel my order. He read the same script 3 times before finally canceling my order.

But when I checked my account, my order was still active and the wrong street number was still listed. This is not good customer service. I understand that I made a mistake, but the way they handled it was not good. I won't be doing business with them again, which is too bad because my daughter loves their berries and I used to surprise her with them a few times a year.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Disappointing Sherri's Berries Experience: Small, Misshapen, and Overpriced Berries with Thin Chocolate Coating

I gotta say, I've had some experience with Sherri's Berries, back when they were a family-owned operation in Roseville, CA. I did some computer contract work for them and even helped them move to a bigger facility. I knew the Exec VP, Production Mgr, and IT Mgr from a different company, and let me tell you, those fresh dipped berries were the bomb. They were big, juicy, and just plain delicious. Even when they had to get strawberries from South America during the off-season, they were still top-notch.

But let me tell you, I recently ordered four dozen berries (that's 4x12, in case you're not a math whiz like me) for my employees as a Christmas treat. They arrived on time, but the delivery fee was way too high - $20 for each $29 box of berries, and they shipped each box separately with added shipping costs. When I opened the first box, I was sorely disappointed. The berries were small, misshapen, and didn't even look like strawberries. The stems were cut off, and the chocolate coating was thin and peeled off easily. Not to mention, the berries weren't even ripe. What a letdown.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty disgusted with my purchase. These berries cost me $50 per dozen with shipping, and they were nowhere near the quality I remembered from the old days. It's a real shame that FTD took over this fine company and let the quality and attention to detail slip. I'll have to apologize to my employees for this one.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Disappointing Experience with Shari's Berries: Late Delivery and Poor Customer Service

I recently ordered a dozen roses and six chocolate covered strawberries from Shari's Berries on Sunday February 10th. I was really excited to surprise my loved one with this special gift. I even paid an additional $14.99 for morning delivery, so that it would arrive on time. However, to my dismay, the package was still not delivered by 12:45 PM. I was really disappointed and frustrated, so I decided to call their 1-800 number to inquire about the status of my order.

After waiting for nearly 30 minutes on hold, someone finally picked up the phone. However, I could barely understand him due to his accent and the very poor phone connection. He offered to cancel my order several times, but I told him that I didn't want the order canceled. I just wanted it to be delivered on time. I asked if it could still be delivered on Valentine's Day, and he assured me that it would be. He also promised to credit me back all of the shipping charges, including the morning delivery fee, and send me an email showing the credit was issued. However, I never received any email from them.

I waited until 11 PM, but the package was still not delivered. So, I decided to contact their customer service through their chat option. I explained the situation to them, but my "connection was Interrupted and The chat session ended." I was really frustrated, so I opened another chat session and spoke to someone named Jessica. I had to tell her the whole story again, and her response was just a simple sorry. She blamed the bad weather for the delay and promised to credit me back the shipping fees. However, nothing had shown as being processed, so I asked her if she could have a manager contact me in the morning.

After a couple of minutes, that chat session ended due to a connection interruption. I was really annoyed, so I opened a third chat session. I had to explain my story again to Patricia, and she apologized for my frustration. She promised to issue the credit refund for the shipping charges, and the package was finally scheduled to be delivered on Friday morning, the day after Valentine's Day. I asked if she could have a manager call me on Friday morning, but her response was not very helpful. She asked me why I wanted to talk to a manager and said that they were too busy to call me.

I have made more than 10 purchases from this company, but this will be my last. I am really disappointed with their lack of professionalism and their inability to provide the product they sell on time without even a reason as to why it's late. There are many companies that do what they do, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I ordered a dozen of chocolate covered strawberries for my friend who lives in an Assisted Living Facility in San Antonio Texas. I visited her on Mother's Day, May 14,2017, and she told me that her son had purchased her a dozen assorted flavored chocolate covered strawberries. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped her strawberries on the floor and felt terrible about it. So, I decided to order some of the same strawberries her son had ordered. I placed an order with the first representative and explained to him what had happened. I also told him that I had a coupon for fifteen dollars off, but there was no code. The representative said he would honor the coupon and my total would be $48.77. I gave him my card information and my order was completed. I asked him to send me an email confirmation of my order, but I did not receive any email.

I called back and spoke to another representative to make sure the order was correct. He told me that the price for the strawberries was $67.07, which was not what I was told by the first representative. I asked him to transfer me to their complaint department, but he transferred me to Pro Flowers. I called back and not only asked to get the order correct, but I also requested a message to be attached to the strawberries.

I called my bank and was told that there were two pending charges from Shari's Berries. On May 14,2017, there was a charge for the quoted price of $48.77 and then the next day a charge for $67.07. I told the bank representative that I did not authorize the $67.07. I called back and spoke to a 4th representative from Shari's Berries who told me that the address was wrong on the order as well as the email address. She said that she would correct the errors and that the strawberries would be delivered on Wednesday. I received an email with the correct information.

However, I spoke with someone from my bank today, May 18,2017, and was told that Shari's Berries charged me $67.07 instead of $48.77. I am very upset that the representative from Shari's Berries charged me $67.07 instead of what I was quoted originally. I am very upset at how I am being mistreated and being overcharged! I was supposed to receive a call from this company within 25 hours, but I have not received a call yet. I need justice in regards to this matter as soon as possible!

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Late delivery. Flowers almost dead, wilted. All 12 strawberries ruined/sour from moisture in packaging.

My son ordered flowers and a dozen strawberries for me for Mother’s Day. Tracking #•[protected]. Package says it was mailed May 12, 2023 with delivery by 1:30pm Saturday. The package arrived yesterday (May15) between 10:30-11:00am. Flowers were wilted and some dead. All 12 chocolate covered strawberries were ruined./spoiled with odor. Ice pack was warm and covered in moisture. Moisture had caused box (containing strawberries) to degrade and chocolate was off of most berries. When package was tracked on Sunday, tracking said package was in Memphis. Is there anything that can be done? I am the recipient and have pictures if you need to see them. This was disappointing.

I ordered one dozen Ladybug Chocolate Covered Strawberries, on April 25, 2023, for Admin Professionals Day April 26, 2023. When I stopped by the recipient's place of work today, she only received six strawberries, only two were Ladybugs! The box was delivered in a timely manner and in great shape. I am heartily disappointed that the whole dozen were not delivered.

I don't have an order # because I never got a confirmation email.

On February 23rd I placed an order to be delivered on Saturday Feb.25 for my nieces bday. They never arrived I spend a good 45 minutes on the phone with customer service. They said the berries will arrive Monday. I said good. No delivery. I told them to send a new order because these have been sitting a while. Order received ice pack melted. She received two more orders today both melted ice packs. Supervisor was rude . I order from you quite a bit but may not anymore. My nephew does not because of so many issues

Desired outcome: My niece to get a fresh batch of strawberries that are not messed up. You charge a lot with no compensation. Thanks for spoiling her bday.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com 4 broken, hot berry orders

I placed 2 orders for Valentine berry delivery. The first order I can’t locate in my email but the second order number is W01005849415992. 3 of the 4 deliveries arrived busted, broken and hot (one cooling pack that was totally melted). I am so disappointed. One of the orders was delivered on 2/8 and I know I put 2/13. I don’t know what happened but I would like a refund. Maybe I will try again on a non holiday. I have had very positive experiences and some negative. Your product is too expensive for this quality and I do have local options now.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com Order not received

I made my order on Jan. 15th so that the berries would be delivered by February 14th. (I ordered this early because I have repeatedly had problems with having my order delivered in the past from this company.) The order never came on Feb. 14th.

Initially. when I went to the Website, I was advised that the delivery would be made prior to 8:PM on the 14th. When that didn't happen, I could not reach an actual customer service representative. (So much for "24/7" customer service.")

When I finally did get through, I was told that my order was not even on the delivery truck for the 14th but that I could schedule a delivery for some other day.

So essentially, this company just takes your money, knowing that they can't fulfill the order on the promised date, and then offers you to make delivery late after you complain. In my opinion, that's coming dangerously close to stealing. Yes, they offered me a 20% coupon for future orders but who wants 20% off on unsatisfactory service?

I canceled my order and will never use this company again. No one should.

In my opinion this is the WORST company ever. Do not use them. Orders not received and customer service was in Phillipines...I could not understand their poor English. I have no intention of paying the bill for things that were never received! Absolutely TERRIBLE!

On February 11, I contacted Shari’s Berries to order chocolate-covered berries for a friend’s wedding anniversary. They are pricey, which I knew, but I finally decided to spring for a dozen at $44 and change. I was told to choose my shipping date. At first, I picked February 14, but then decided to go for the 13th. On that date, the amount of $7.99 was in parentheses. Later dates were priced at $4.99. An extra three bucks to get it there a little earlier— An ok shipping charge, I thought. So I went to PayPal and arranged payment of the order. I was taken back to the Shari’s Berries site and WHAM! My shipping charge was over $22! My order had already been made, I was unable to find a way to cancel it. I contacted the company and was told that their normal shipping charge was $14.99 and the extra charge was an expedited charge and that was explained on their site’s shipping chart. I am still unable to find where this $14.99 is mentioned on their site and I told the rep that, and asked her/him to please point out to me where I would have seen that on their site. That’s when the conversation ended. This was their last email after several others. The even more ridiculous part was I could join their special Customer Idiot Program (not the real name of course) and pay a yearly charge of $29.99 and all future shipments would be shipped at their regular price, no charge for expedited orders. Meaning their regular low, low charge of $14.99. I’m pissed to be cheated but am more pissed that they think I’m an idiot and this way of appeasing me should have satisfied me. Never never again, Shari’s Berries!

Desired outcome: I asked for the $14.99 to be refunded since that amount wasn’t specified on their site.

Shari's Berries / Berries.com One dozen chocolate strawberries

I ordered a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my brother and sister in law for Xmas. Let them know someone needs to be home for the delivery. They live in Texas. Their adult son was gone the entire day along with another family member and nobody ever knocked on the door. By the time they discovered they were delivered they were unedible. They liquidfied from sitting in the sun. Contacted Shari's and I got a $25.43 refund and was told I'd get the rest soon. Contacted them tonight only to find out that I apparently agreed to only a 50% refund. Why would I agree to that?!? They refunded another $25.43 but the total all together was $72.86. This is not 100% satisfaction guaranteed its more like 75%. What I really wanted was them redelivered properly. So where's the other $22. Since they ruined my Xmas gift to my family

Desired outcome: The rest of my money refunded and a reason why nobody bothered knocking on their door knowing they had a product that needed to be refrigerated
