On Friday, October 20th I placed an order for 2 dozen strawberries and the site offered an additional item of pretzels for what i thought was free shipping. Instead, it was no additional shipping cost, but my fault for not readying it correctly. I placed the order and paid for next day shipping to have the items for the day of the party. On Saturday, October 21, the strawberries arrived late afternoon as I was setting up. There were no pretzels in the box and I assumed they were unavailable and I had no time to resolve since my guests were arriving. The following day (Sunday), I logged in and saw that the pretzels were arriving on October 27th, which was never noted at the time the order was placed. On Monday, October 23, I contacted customer service via live chat to cancel the pretzels, since I no longer needed them - the party was over. I was told that the order couldn't be canceled because it was a "future" order, to which I advised, the order was in the past and the expected delivery date was also in the past. I was told I was ineligible for a refund and that I could call customer service. When I called customer service, the prompt allowed for me have someone call me back, which no one ever did. Subsequently, I called CS again and was told they could refund only half of the order since it was already out for delivery. Apparently the $32.99 refund to satisfy the customer was too much, so this customer will not use Shari's Berries nor will I recommend them to anyone.
Claimed loss: $32.99
Desired outcome: At a minimum, a full refund for the items I tried to cancel
