Sheetz Rude and abusive manager

I went to cashier and asked her to please divide orders for two reasons. One I was picking up smokes for me and my son and was going to pay with different debit cards and also take advantage of the Marlboro $1.70 of two packs of same. I asked her to ring up my 6, 24oz. twisted teas and two packs of cigs and then separately do the other two packs. As I was her she rang up the entire amount on one order so I asked if it gave me the full $3.40 discount for the cigs before I entered my card for payment. She stated yes it did. Well as I walked out the store I checked the receipt and there was $1.20 +$.50 +$.50 for a total of only $2.20 not the $S3.40 so I went instantly back in store and same cashier said she would have to get manager to get me my $1.20 back. Well let me tell you this person named George, at 11:00 am, Sat, Store number 492, my order number 846, did nothing short of belittle me, told cashier to walk away and all I was trying to do was explain what she did and she admitted it. Then I said can't you refund and re-ring it up and he abusively said no, we (Sheetz) do not take back tobacco products even though I was gonna end up with the same packs. He then said smartly he was not going to give me my $1.20 and refused to give his last name. This was in front of other customers and I also have the full name of one witness to this so called manager who has zero leadership abilities, no customer service training, and deserves to be fired and not represent your company he claimed as his when he said we do not take back tobacco products. This has happened before over the years of my patronage and I have always had a situation fixed in seconds whereas this person spent 5 plus minutes trying to intimidate me. Well I am a 68 year old, 21 plus years retired Marine, retired State Service Health Care Analyst and this person should not be affiliated in anyway with a company of Sheetz standings. He is a disgrace. When all said and done his words were you listen to me, I am not going to give you your $1.20, not taking back your order as it is already paid for and not giving you my last name. At that point I stated I was going to file a complaint and smartly grinned like a tough guy who could care less.

Desired outcome: Apology in front of the same cashier he acted so tough guy in front of. My $1.20 returned to me asap. Cashier did not separate orders as I asked then before I entered my payment card told me that the full discount was issued.

Sheetz Food Service Sucks and Entry Blocked

Entry door is partially blocked by stacked water bottles so that one can not fully open the door. When opening the door, it unexpectedly bounces off the water bottles at halfway open and knocks one's glasses or hat off.

Ordered a shake, received a smoothie. Sucks.

Sheetz Scrambled eggs and bacon plattet

The bacon wasn't done. T wasn't crispy at all.. like a wet noodle. The butter wasn't even melted on my waffle bread. The hashbrowns tasted like straight garlic. Im so tired of getting food thats awesome one time and then so bad I can't eat it. The only thing good about my trips sheets today was the courteous staff. Spent $11.00 this morning and couldn't eat any of it.

Sheetz MTO

I placed my order for 2 hotdogs, waited for almost an hour then they tried giving me the wrong hotdogs. When I told them it was wrong, they said sorry sir we will fix it for you but then continued to fill orders that came in well after mine even though I paid for them I said forget about it I wasn’t waiting any longer for hotdogs. Sheetz Commercial Advertising

Although I have been a customer of Sheetz for years, the new commercials are disturbing. You don't need to use sexually-suggestive gimmicks to sell sodas or gas, and you are a gas station/convenience store and not a porn shop. I can also wager that condoms are not why the majority of your customers come to the stores, so focus on what they DO shop for. Thank you.

Desired outcome: Sheetz should tone down the suggestive crap on their commercials.

Hey I just noticed that the alergen warning on the window at store 657 on erford road is completely unreadable. Its worn down so much that I could barely read that it was an "alergen warning" everything else on it was beyond unreadable including the phone number. It really needs an update I attached a photograph of what it currently looks like and has looked like for weeks.

Sheetz Falsely accused of taking a pair of sunglasses.

The incident happened on Friday night/Saturday morning, April 15/16, 2022. The time was right around 2:15am. I walked into the store, looked at the sunglasses, tried a pair on, and I went to put them back and I knocked another pair onto the floor so I had to bend down and pick them up. I continued afterwards through the store browsing and getting what else I needed. I was then approached on my right side AND my left by one police officer and an off duty police officer who pulled out and flashed me his badge. They said what things did you put into your purse? I said nothing I swear! And the on duty officer said well management said they saw you put a pair of sunglasses into your purse. I said I dropped a pair, bent down to pick them up and I put them back but here in my hand is the other pair. I then opened every section of my purse and showed them my purse had nothing stolen inside and the on duty officer then said one moment and went and spoke to the staff and came back saying I was okay to go and the off duty officer apologized and I walked away. I RECEIVED NO APOLOGY FROM WHICHEVER E.MPLOYEE FALSELY REPORTED THAT I STOLE SUNGLASSES. I THEN HAD TO WAIT 40 MINUTES FOR TWO MILKSHAKES TO BE READY.

Desired outcome: I would like whichever employee falsely REPORTED this to be fired and I would like a formal written apology for humiliating me in front of everyone. This was a horrible experience and I don't know if I will come back to this establishment.

Sheetz Breakfast

I would like to complain about the Sheetz in Chambersburg. Every day I order the same breakfast sandwich waffle, but today the put habanero sauce instead of bbq sauce. It’s silly, I know. I when to exchange to a new sandwich waffle and they told me the bbq is spicy now. So my complaint is, I can’t have my favorite breakfast anymore because the bbq sauce have chance and have no information about it. Or they have multiple options of bbq, but the costumer can’t choose which kind.

I can’t eat eat spicy food.

Ps: They made a sandwich without bbq sauce, and without the other things I order and pay for. I don’t care if is just a extra dollar of adders, I pay for and didn’t get.

I hope next time the sauces changes, the costumer get informed about before purchase.

Desired outcome: I would like to know what kind of sauces are available, and which ones are spicy free. So I can order a safe sandwich next time, with no unpleasant surprises.

I just want to let Sheetz know that overall I am happy with their store and service. However, their Maverick Cigarettes in Harpers Ferry, WV have been stale for months.
