I have today discovered 2 unathorised payments taken from my Bank account in the name of Shopperdisc.co.uk for £10.00 on the 11th of each month, December 2012 and January 2013. I do not know what these payments are for and have not ever made any agreement with the company, Shopperdisc.co.uk. I contacted the Bank who informed me that I must have ticked a box agreeing to the payments. I then recalled that I had ticked a box for discounts information and vouchers to be e-mailed to me, in the style of Groupon, but at no point did it state that I would have to pay some money. Surely if I had to pay some money I would have had to give my bank details and agree to the money being taken. This was not the case. The Bank informed me that they cannot stop the direct debit and so therefore I demand that you stop any further deductions immediately from my bank account, and give me a full refund for the payments taken so far.

I too have had £10 out of my account for months now this is theft and something should be done about it i have read reviews and it seems a few online shops are doing this i am demanding my money back

Yes I agree with all the complaints that are being about Shopperdisc, they have taken £10.00 out of my bank without my permisssion as well. These people must be caught and dealt with by the courts and sent to prison I hope.

RIP OFF! RIP OFF! RIP OFF! After a purchase with Argos on-line, I was invited to take advantage of a "special offer" to get £10-£15 off my next purchase with shopperdisc.co.uk Today I read my on-line bank statement that I will be paying sh/disc £10 per month until the end of time. I 'phoned them & they could not be more abusive if they tried. Argos was no more helpful either. STAY AWAY FROM THEM !

MY NAME IS TINA A DIDABLE PENSIONER I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS SIGHT HAS GOT MY BANK DETAILS FROM TO BE ABLE TO TAKE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT I CERTAINLEY DID NOT GIVE THEM DETAILS AT ALL 3 MONTHS THEY HAVE BEEN STEELING MY MONEY I ASK MY DAUGHTER TO CHECK DETAIL FOR ME SHE TRIED SIGNING IN WITH MY E.MAIL ADDRESS THE SITE DID NOT RECONISE IT BECAUSE I NEVER SIGNED UP THIS SITE IS A SCAM

Hello All,

What are You trying to achieve by posting your Complaints on this AMERICAN . U.S. Complaints Board / Forum ?

Although I know that there are THOUSANDS of Complaints from U.K. Residents on here MOST of those Complaints have been posted by people who did not see the futility of posting Complaints about U.K. Companies on here !

IF the Company that You are all complaining about obtained your Bank details fraudulently this would be a POLICE / LEGAL MATTER - as I assume that IF none of You have complained to the Police about this the Company must have received your Bank details from YOU !

INSIST that your Bank cancels the Debits immediately - there are no longer `Recurring Charges` that cannot be stopped by the Bank Account holder - there were some examples of this type of charge in the past for example Recurring / Monthly Car Insurance Instalments - but all UK Banks have now changed this.

Good Luck in stopping these charges - although it would be inconvenient the last resort would be to actually change your Bank Account or to inform your Bank that You feel so strongly about these `Unauthorised Debits` that You want to change your Account / Account Number.

i have the same problem ! thank you guys help me to realize they stole my money after 8 months . I sent message to them to ask them stop it and refund my money but they have not replied yet . I will try to call them to complain and get back my money. I hope someone who can find the way to notice everyone about this website because I see massive people have the same problems like us and just some of them can get the money back and some of them just realize it after 2 years. if someone have any ideal, pls say something to stop it ! thank you so much !

Hi My name is Tracie and I've just found out that shoppperdics has taken £10 from my back account without my say so. I cant seem to send them a e-mail as it comes up with that they haven't installed it right. I'm so angy at this and need it sorted out. I also can't get on to the site with my e-mail address and password? All I want is my money back and it cancelled Thank you. E-mail is m.smith54321@btinternet.com

Hi my name is Tracie, I just found out that shoppersdisc has taken money from my account without my say so and I would like it back. I would also like to cancel what ever i've got with them. I've tried to e-mail them but it comes up that they have not installed it right.

this company shopper disc hhas been taking mony from my account without my permission i will be taking legal advice to have them stopped who or how do i contact at shopperdisc to get them to stop it is outrageous people can do this without your permission

Argos should not allow these pop-ups on their site. They got my details because I gave them to ARGOS to purchase something. A pop-up came up saying do you want to save money of this item, I clicked yes and it brought me to shopper disc. I realised it was a scam then and came out of it again but you must have to untick a box in order for them not to sign you up. There should be a law against this blatant fraud.

hi yes thay did same to me . . . dint realise till thay had taken 7 payments ! ! ! im mad . . compliant suposed to get 3 x back . . i want the lot back . . . charge you £10.00 mth for . . for discount on something i havent bought . . nice scam

Noticed an unknown reduction from my bank account (GBP 10) which I did not authorise at all nor have I ever heard of the company. I've not made ANY transaction in the UK since last September to date (21 Jan. 2015) so am extremely frustrated and confused as to how this happened?!?! I don't think I've EVER agreed to any discounts, cash backs or things like this whenever I make an online transaction!

Shopper Discounts and Rewards is a savings programme for people who shop online regularly. The only way to become a member is to enter your details in full on the Shopper Discounts & Rewards sign-up page. The details required are: your name, your email address (twice), your postal address, a new password (twice) and your credit or debit card details for the monthly billing. It is mentioned in several places that following 30 days free membership, there is a monthly fee - hence why you are required to provide your credit/debit card details on the sign-up page. There is no other way of creating a membership but to provide your details in full.

I have just found that £ 15 has been taken in dec & January off my credit card by this company .i have never signed up to them
